Seth walked in through the kitchen door to see Jessica making some breakfast. She was beautiful. He always found himself admiring her.
"Here Jess let me help you with that." He said as he walked in placing his hat on the chair.
"Oh hi, Seth! Good to see you this morning." She welcomed him. Seth smiled at her lovingly and assisted her with the plates.
"How has your morning been so far Jess?"
"Well, a lot better since you showed up." Jessica giggled.
"Oh, woman it can't have been that bad before I showed up. You sure you don't mind me over here every morning with you?" He set the plates down on the table as Jessica came over with the eggs.
"Not at all, Seth!" She assured him. "I love having you over." Seth poured them some orange juice and they sat down at the table.
"Wow," Seth commented. Jessica looked up at him.
"I swear Jess there is nothing better on this planet than your cooking." Jessica laughed, taking another bite and a drink of juice. Seth just looked up at her and smiled. She blushed at him and just looked at him for a moment. After breakfast, Seth got up with Jessica to put their plates in the sink. Silent all the while doing so, Seth accidentally placed his hand on Jessica's who immediately looked over to him. Seth looked up and sparkling blue eyes locked with deep hazel. They just stood there for a few moments looking at each other. Jessica subconsciously bit her lip slightly and looked down and then back up at Seth. They were subconsciously moving closer and closer together. Jessica slightly tilted her head down through apprehension and Seth ever so gently put two fingers and his thumb under her chin and pulled her to him slowly. He stopped only less than an inch away from her face. He could feel her heartbeat as he eliminated the space between them. Jessica closed her eyes as she felt his lips gently touch hers. It took her a moment to register what was happening before Jessica snapped back into reality and raised her arms around his neck resting one hand on the back of his head and the other on his neck. She deepened the kiss and Seth hesitated slightly. He raised one hand to her cheek and the other he moved from her chin against her cheek slowly to rest under her head entangled in her curls. She felt his strong hands and this time Seth deepened the kiss even more. Jessica lost her balance and grabbed the counter. Seth moved the hand from her cheek to her lower back to catch her. Kiss after kiss they were drawn deeper into each other's embrace. Jessica's fingers reached to his head. She gripped his hair and pulled him closer. They were completely lost in each other that they didn't hear the sheriff knocking and opening the door. Then he saw it.
"What the- Oh my god! What is happening?"
Their eyes flew open and they separated taking in deep breaths. They all just stood there in silence for about thirty seconds before Jessica, trying to catch her breath said,
"That was unfortunate timing." Mort laughed sarcastically.
"You think?"
