The Marauders In Trouble
Chapter 4 : Padfoot and Prongs Depart, Lily Suspicious
"Yes! You will be gone all week. The teachers will be provided with an excuse of your absence."
"When do we start?"
"Right now!" Dumbledore told them.
"Yes, Sir!"
Sirius and James went to their dormitory, packed up their bags. And told Remus about where they were going. Dumbledore had only allowed them both to tell only one person what they were upto. And funnily enough, both of them confided in Remus.
"See you in a week!" James told him. "Let's go, Padfoot,"
Remus smiled.
"I hope it isn't something too dangerous!"
"Let's see...it is the most dangerous one ever!" Sirius told him. "We are walking right into the nest of the death eaters!"
"Don't be dramatic, Padfoot!" James flicked his ear. "Let's go, Work to do!"
James and Sirius rushed out, and disappeared as they walked out of the magical bounds of Hogwarts.
Remus sighed as he took his favorite chair, and took his book to read. He opened the book, and saw a chocolate inside it. He smiled. It was always Sirius or James who left these in his books. It was caramel. He knew this one was James's. And how could James forget, he knew a full moon was coming up.
Lily came inside, as the door opened, and she collapsed in the seat, in front of Remus.
"Where is James?" Remus raised his eyebrows at her questions.
"And ...Sirius!?" She added quickly.
"Out." Remus couldn't tell her. It was a promise. He knew that James would have told her, but he couldn't.
"And you didn't go?" She asked.
"No...I had homework!"
"What homework?" She asked. "We didn't have any homework today."
"Uh...!"
"Remus Lupin!" Lily eyed him. "You know, you are not good at keeping secrets."
"I know..." he sighed. "But I can't tell you, Lily."
"why not?" She asked curiously.
"Well, I don't know what to say..." He started to say. "But it is not my secret to tell, Lil!"
"Fair enough!" She shrugged her shoulders.
James Potter and Sirius Black was standing in a very woody, and the was the last day, they ahd had enough information. Both of them were standing in a small pub. They had changed into different clothes. Both of them were fidgety. James had always worn the best clothes, and Sirius, he had been spoiled by James. James would buy all the best things for Sirius, usually same as his own. He didn't listen to any objections of Sirius.
"Look at this!" James whispered. "I hate this...see it is so uncomfortable."
Sirius nodded. James sat at the table, and ordered a Sirius took off.
They didn't look at each other. Both of them were observing, Sirius was placed outside, because of his animagus form. A dog was much suitable for the scene. He just sat there, and drank slowly, sip by sip. He smiled, pulling his hood closer. He didn't want his face to be notified. He closed his eyes, and focused in all what he could hear.
