Elena slowly opened her eyes, unsure of how long she had been asleep. She felt extremely weak, her vision was blurred to the point that she couldn't see anything, and her body felt like it had been set on fire. Elena let out a weak moan, unknowingly alarming Klaus that she had woken up. It had been a week since she fell unconscious and Klaus had started to worry.
The closer Klaus had gotten to her the more she felt it, the overwhelming amount of need coursing through her veins.
When Klaus finally got close enough, Elena grabbed his arm with all the strength she had.
Her breathing grew heavier as she tried to bring his arm closer to her.
Klaus quickly realized that Elena was in some kind of trance, he would have stopped her, but he was curious where this was going.
Elena ruthlessly bit down on his skin with her dull teeth.
Klaus chuckled and pulled his arm away from her, he had gotten the message loud and clear. He bit into his arm, allowing the blood to flow down his arm. He held his close to her, but too far for her to be able to reach it.
"Is this what you wanted, love?"
Elena reached her arm out to Klaus in a feeble attempt to get to his blood.
Klaus smirked before sitting on the bed and putting his bloody arm on her mouth.
Elena drank deeply from him, allowing his crimson red blood to flood her body, soul, and mind.
Klaus had known this was going to happen when he had come into the room, it was the last step of the ritual.
Elena was slammed back into reality, she quickly pushed Klaus's arm away from her mouth, realizing what she had done. Elena was mortified at what she had done, but that feeling quickly turned into anger.
"What the hell did you-"
Elena's words died in her mouth as her eyes landed on Klaus. It was as if she had laid her eyes on him for the first time in her life. She quickly forced herself to look away from him, hoping that he hadn't noticed her racing heart.
"I didn't quite catch that."
Elena did not respond to him.
Elena kept her eyes off of Klaus, trying to focus on anything else.
"Elena, look at me."
Elena felt tempted to do what he said, but she stopped herself.
"Why should I? You kidnapped me and kept me locked down here for…"
Now that she thought about it she had no clue how long she had been in this room.
"I only took what is mine."
"I am not yours."
Klaus chuckled, had she forgotten who she belonged to?
Klaus roughly grabbed her face, forcing her to look at him.
"You belong to me, Elena. You are mine."
Elena shook her head violently, trying to fight off the blood bond.
"No, I'm not."
"You're my doppelgänger, Elena. You were only born to be of use to me."
In the end, the blood bond had worked perfectly, Elena couldn't help but believe Klaus's words.

Katherine had been dragged in and out of stores by Bonnie and Caroline. She would have enjoyed it if she didn't have to pick out clothes that Elena would wear. She had almost slipped up when she picked out a tight black dress, Caroline and Bonnie looked at her with confusion clear on their faces. Katherine quickly realized her mistake and played it off as a joke.
On the way to the boarding house, Caroline looked at Katherine with a smirk on her face.
"What do you girls say to a sleepover? We haven't had one in forever." Caroline said in a yearning tone.
"I'm in." Bonnie answered almost immediately.
"What about you Lena?" Caroline asked.
"Sorry, I have to finish Alaric's project."
Katherine was lying, she had finished that a few days ago.
"Elena, that's not due until next week." Bonnie Informed.
"Oh." Katherine stated.
"So?" Caroline asked.
"Sure, I'm in."
When they had arrived at the boardinghouse they kicked Stefan and Damon out. The girls were currently watching movies and eating popcorn. Bonnie grabbed the remote and paused the movie.
"Hey! I was watching that!" Caroline exclaimed.
Bonnie gave Caroline a look telling her to shut up.
"What's the deal with you and Marcus?" Bonnie asked.
"What?" Katherine asked.
Was there something going on between Klaus and Elena? Katherine had thought he wanted to use Elena for the sacrifice, had she been wrong?
"Don't play dumb Elena. You two clearly have feelings for each other." Caroline stated.
"You're not going to cheat on Stefan, are you?" Bonnie asked.
"Why would I do that?" Katherine asked, confused.
"No reason." Caroline said with a sly smile on her face.
"Seriously Elena? Did you actually forget… it doesn't matter, just promise us you're not going to cheat on Stefan with Marcus." Bonnie demanded.
"I won't, I love Stefan. I would never do that to him." Katherine said wholeheartedly.
"Good, we wouldn't want to have one of those days again." Caroline stated, shivering at the memory.
"Those days?" Katherine questioned.
Bonnie and Caroline looked at each other before turning their eyes back to Elena.
"Seriously?" Caroline asked.
"What?" Katherine questioned.
"Nothing, never mind." Caroline said, shaking her head, deciding to drop it.
"Is Damon still bothering you?" Bonnie asked, having a gut feeling something was wrong with Elena.
"Unfortunately." Katherine scoffed.
"Wait I thought-" Caroline said before getting interrupted.
"What did he do this time?" Bonnie asked.
Caroline quickly realized what was going on.
"It was nothing, he was just drunk." Katherine stated nonchalantly.
"Huh." Caroline stated.
"What?" Katherine asked.
"I thought you were going to talk about what he did to you on Wickery bridge, that's all." Caroline said, shrugging her shoulders.
Katherine did not remember seeing that in Elena's diary, what could've been so bad that Elena couldn't write it down?
"Oh, I must've forgotten about it." Katherine stated.
"Pretty hard to forget." Caroline said with a frown on her face.
"Yeah." Katherine agreed.
"How about we get some sleep." Bonnie suggested.
"Good idea." Katherine said with a yawn.
"Wait Elena, don't forget your tea." Bonnie said, handing her a cup.
"Thanks." Katherine said with a slight smile, drinking the bitter tea.
Katherine had fallen into a deep sleep, thanks to Bonnie's tea.
"She's sleep." Caroline confirmed.
"Good, did you call Stefan and Damon?" Bonnie asked.
"Yeah. What do you think is wrong with her?" Caroline asked.
"I don't know…" Bonnie said in a worried tone.
