So sorry for being MIA it been a crazy few weeks, I went back to work after 3 months on furlough so going back full-time is hard work! anyways here's another chapter! Enjoy and please review.

Chapter 3.

"What can we help you with?" Mr. Zealand, asked as they wall made their way into the house.

"We need to speak to Abbie" JJ spoke softly.

He sighed, "She's out in the garden, she hasn't stepped foot in the house yet" Mr. Zealand sighed.

JJ nodded, "It will take her some time, maybe let her stay with your brother until she's ready

Walking through the house, JJ stopped in the garden seeing a playhouse.

"How you wanna do this?" Will asked.

"Mind If I take the lead?" JJ looked at him.

Seeing the young girl inside the treehouse, JJ knocked on the door.

"Abbie" JJ spoke softly

"Who are you?" she whispered

"I'm JJ this Will." JJ smiled at the girls

"You the good guys?" Abbie asked.

"Yes we are, can we come in and join you?" JJ spoke.

She nodded, watching them both closely.

Sitting down inside, JJ took a seat next to Abbie

"This is a super cool treehouse you have," JJ said looking around

"It was mine and Julies" Abbie spoke quietly

"Well it's cool, me and my sister used to have something similar when we were kids," JJ said

Will watched and listened to JJ, he could tell something was off her with especially with this case, he just knew he couldn't push her, she wasn't one to open up to many people.

"How old are you Abbie?" Will asked.

"Eleven" Abbie looked at him.

"Wow, that's such a fun age." Will smiled

"I guess" She pulled her sleeves over her hands.

"What do you like doing for fun?" JJ asked.

"I play on the school soccer team" Abbie smiled a little.

"That's great, you wanna know something cool?" JJ said watching her carefully.

"Yeah I guess" Abbie spoke

"When I was your age I played for my school's team too" JJ smiled at her.

"You want to talk to me about Julie don't you?" Abbie looked at her

JJ nodded "Is that ok?", she placed her hand on hers.

"I guess" Abbie nodded.

"Ok, what can you tell us about when you found her," Will asked, handing her the teddy bear that was next to him.

Abbie took the teddy bear off Will holding it close. "It was early, and I was cold so I woke up, and then I needed the bathroom, so I went and when I opened the door, I saw her lying there, and the blood" Abbie whispered.

JJ nodded, Rubbing her back. "It's ok, take all the time you need "

"I froze when I saw her I didn't know what to do, then I screamed and started crying and that's when mommy came and took me to my room." Abbie wiped her eyes.

"That's great sweetie thank you," Will said

"I'm scared" Abbie spoke.

"Of what?" Will asked.

"Going back into the house." Abbie looked at them.

JJ sighed, taking hold of her hand. "Abbie, It's ok to be scared, and sad and confused when I was your age I lost my big sister too, and I found her and I was so scared and I froze too and it's ok that you froze up, and that you don't want to go back into the house just yet. But I need you to know none of this is your fault, you hear me"

"Yes," she said crying.

"You did good sweetie," Will said.

"Do you think mom and dad will be mad?" Abbie asked.

"Why would they be mad?" Will asked.

"Cause Julie had a boy sneak into her room" Abbie looked at them.

JJ and Will looked at each other. "No honey they won't be mad.

"Abbie, I have one more question" JJ paused, "Did Julie give you anything, like a gift that night before you went to sleep?"

"No" she looked at JJ.

"I want to see mommy now" Abbie looked at JJ.

"C'mon kiddo we will take you to her" Will smiled.

Will and JJ didn't speak a word on the way back to the BAU, Entering the bullpen JJ went straight to the briefing room.

"What did you find out?" Reid asked.

"Look's like Julie had a guy sneak into her room the night of the incident," Will said.

JJ stood fiddling with her necklace, listening to the team

"What about Abbie," Morgan asked.

JJ stood lost in her thoughts, zoning out.

"JJ?" Morgan asked.

"What, sorry?" JJ said pulling her arm away from her neck.

"Abbie?" Moran asked.

"Right, she didn't see anything the poor kid just found her big sister's dead body, she is scared I don't blame her," JJ said taking a deep breath

Will looked at JJ, he was worried about her, he had heard her open to Abbie and he knew that something similar had happened to her growing up, but he knew this wasn't the place to have that convocation with her.

Hearing a knock on the door, JJ looked through the peephole.

"What are you doing here?" JJ asked, wrapping her arms over her chest

"I came to check on you" Will leaned against the doorframe

"Why?" JJ said

"JJ, you're my best friend and I know when something's up" Will looked at her.

JJ looked at Will her face was all red and puffy from crying.

"You want some wine?" JJ asked.

"Sure," Will said following her inside.

Sitting on the sofa, Will took the glass of wine off JJ, seeing her curl up.

"Okay time to talk, cause I heard what you said to Abbie today" Will looked at her.

JJ looked forward, JJ avoided eye contact with Will, feeling a tear roll down her cheek. "I can't" she whispered.

"Your sister?" Will asked.

JJ sighed, "My sister" nodding

"You know I'm here to listen, to be the shoulder to cry on, just let it out," Will said placing his hand on her knee.

"My sister Ros," JJ said looking at him "She killed herself when I was 11," JJ said holding the charm on the necklace around her neck. "She gave me this the night before she.."

"And you found her?" Will asked.

JJ nodded, wiping away her tears. "I walked into the bathroom, and she was just lying there and there was so much blood and she still had my dad's razor between her fingers" JJ sobbed.

Will pulled her into his arms as she cried, he didn't say anything he just held, her, held her until she stopped crying. "Jen"

"I miss her so much," JJ said wiping her eyes sitting up in his hold.

"It's ok to miss her," Will said holding onto her.

"I just wish I knew why she did it, and then I just wish she would have talked to me so I could have helped her," JJ said looking at him.

"JJ you were a kid, you couldn't have known, Just like Abbie couldn't have known," Will said

JJ sighed. "I think that's why I took this job"

"And why's that" Will asked.

"I couldn't help my sister and I promised myself I wouldn't freeze up again" JJ looked at him.

"Until you did, yesterday?" Will spoke.

JJ nodded. "You saw that"

Will nodded, "More than once"

"Seeing it all, brought every crappy thing that happened back then." JJ sighed.

"It's ok to be sad about it" Will rubbed her back.

"Doesn't help me or Abbie though, she will always have a part of her that will hurt" JJ sighed.

"Then let's get to the truth," Will looked at her.

"You think it was murder?" JJ asked.

"I think something happened, I'm off to the ME tomorrow want to join me," Will said seeing the case file on the table.

JJ nodded, wiping her eyes, she looked at Will. "Can we just keep this between us for now?" JJ asked in an almost whisper.

"Of course"Will nodded, moving her hair behind her ear.

"I'm here if you need anything" Will whispered.

JJ sighed, leaning her head against his. "Thank you"

Will kissed the top of her head. "You want to go through the files again?" Will asked.

"It's late" JJ looked at him.

"Well, we know neither one of us is going to sleep tonight, go wash up, I'll order us some takeout." Will got up from the sofa.

JJ smiled standing up, she hugged him, walking off into her bedroom, JJ dried her eyes. "You can trust him," JJ said to herself.
