"How can you not form a group of 5 people? Don't you have any friends?" Hwoarang shouted.

"I have!" Xiaoyu shouted also.

"Other than Miharu?"

Xiaoyu stopped shouting. She was looking up to think.

"Just like I thought..." Hwoarang face-palmed.

"Listen, I won't just form a random group. It needs to win. You can't win with avarage people."

"Why does it matter, we won't really compete or do a project. You only need to beat the ones in the school!"

"Ugh, I am trying to get someone specific into the group okay? After I convince him, I'll take whoever, alright?"

"Mmhhm, who might this guy be?" Nina jumped into the conversation. She was smiling teasingly.

"Ugh, not like that. He is the most clever guy in the school."

"Why would he accept your invitation, you asocial weirdo!"

"What are you talking about, she has lots of friends at school?" Nina said. She once took her to her friends, they were a lot.

"No, I wouldn't call them friends. They're only the people I talk when we gather together."

"That's called friends?"

"No, I would call only you guys and Miharu a friend. I don't have any other friends." She crossed arms. Nina squished her cheeks.

"Gods... Okay, then form a group with those non-friends."

"Leave me alone, I will!" She stormed out.

"Maybe I should go to her school and impress the girls with my charisma and convince them to join her group." Hwoarang suggested.

"Ummm, yeah, definitely do that..." Nina nodded and walked away. Approached Jin.

"Everyone is stressed because the date is set for the fair. So. When are we going to your lab?"

"You're so eager to come to my place?" He smiled playfully. He was preparing something to eat.

"Ha-ha." She fake laughed. "You are completely healed. How long are you planning to stay here?"

"I still have a scratch though..." He showed the small scratch on his arm.

It's been days and Jin's wounds are nearly healed.

She slapped his arm. "Tomorrow."

"Okay, okay."

They all had something to eat. Then they started to talk about their plans in near future.

"We'll go to that lab tomorrow morning."

"Uh, morning? Maybe we should go in the dark? At night?" Jin said. He doesn't want to go at all.

"What? Are you serious, night is not safe at all."

"Daylight is what's not safe actually. We can't go out in broad daylight!"

"Why not, vampire guy?" Hwoarang asked.

"They will recognise us."

"Um, for your information, we're not famous..."

"I see, he doesn't want to leave so he's trying to procrastinate as much as he can." Forest punched his arm lightly. "Bro..."

Actually, Jin might be count as famous for Mishimas. That's why he was trying to be careful. But it wasn't possible to tell the whole truth right now. So he acted like what Forest says is right.

"So you, me and Nina. Science bros, right?"

"Actually I'm planning to take Kunimitsu with me..." Nina said.

"Whyyyy?"

"Because you annoy me, dear Forest." She smiled to annoy him.

"I'm not coming." Kunimitsu said.

"Why?"

"It will catch too many attention being a blind biologist. Don't you think?"

"Yeah, that's right..."

"Mwaaah" Forest kissed Kunimitsu on the cheek "Don't worry, I'll make you proud!"

Kunimitsu wiped the saliva off her cheek. "I'm sure..."

"Do you walk this road every time you need to go to center?" Jin asked. The weather was kinda hot and he started to sweat.

"Of course. It's no big deal."

"At least you should get a bicycle like Xiao."

"No, I'm not bicycle person. I prefer motorbikes."

"Then get a motorbike?"

"Yeah, why don't I? Like I don't have money, pfttt?" She answered him sarcastically.

"Right..."

They were in the center now. Jin was overly cautious, looking around and checking constantly.

"So you live in this neighborhood?"

"It's near, we still have way."

"You know, once I stayed in center for a while. And the place was in the best neighborhood and it was very big..." She stopped when she realised he's not around. She turned back to division to an alley. Found him hiding behind the wall.

"Umm, what are you doi-" He checked the way in the meantime and pulled Nina in the alley also. Pulled her to his other side and turned his face to her. He was standing so close and whispering.

"Observe the two men in suits without being obvious, and tell me when they're gone." His back was turned to the main road. Nina was trying to see over his shoulder. He was much taller than she is. She was kinda on her tip toe.

The men came into her vision.

"They are walking normally. I think they're ordinary pe- Wait. They stopped." She was whispering also. She kept telling. "They are talking to each other. Well, one of them is looking here now. What's going on?" She kept informing him. He closed his eyes, he was annoyed. It was them surely. How could they get out of this situation, how... He was thinking about every opportunity in seconds.

"Oh no, he's coming towards us." She was starting to panic.

Then suddenly, Jin got even closer to her. His face was just in front of hers. She pulled herself back but there was wall behind her. She was looking at him in shock. And also he was looking at her.

"Did he go back?" He asked. She was still looking at his eyes in a daze. Then she came to her senses and checked the man. He turned back and was shaking his head unapprovingly.

"Yes, they're leaving. Aaand, they left." She informed.

Jin exhaled but before he can got away from her, she pushed him away already.

"Who were they?"

"Probably men from Mishima Zaibatsu."

"Did they recognised?"

"They probably suspected. That's what I was talking about when it's not safe to be outside in the daylight."

"Yeah, let's go quickly."

"We can't even ask for directions, what a corrupted city and people!!" The man complaint.

"Yeah, perverts..." his friend agreed. They kept walking.

They reached the place. It was looking like a laboratory. But after you pass the corridor, there were stairs, kitchen, bathroom etc. They were both staying and working here it seemed.

It was kinda early in the morning, then they saw a girl who looked like she woke up a few minutes ago, coming out of kitchen.

She stopped when she realised them.

"Oh my god! Jin!" She ran and jumped into his arms. He picked her up, since she was so skinny it was so easy to do.

"Are you alright? Where have you been?" She was hugging him tightly.

"Hahah, I am perfectly fine." He was ruffling her hair. Nina wondered what is the relationship between them. Then a guy climbed down the stairs, he looked like he just woke up a second ago.

"Jin?"

He dropped the girl back and hugged the guy too.

"You got us worried!" He punched his arm.

The girl was looking at Nina and trying to understand who she is. She smiled in a cute way when Nina looked at her too. Nina smiled back. Probably not as cute as she looks.

"I'm alright, nothing wrong."

Then the guy looked at Nina too.

"Uuh, this is Nina."

Guy greeted with a nod.

"I'm Lars."

"And I am Alisa." They turned back to Jin to hear his explanation.

"I've been staying with them for this past days. They helped me."

"Oh really? Thanks a lot." Alisa touched her arm to show gratitude. It was funny that she got their thanks since she was the last one to accept him.

"Where have you been, what happened at the-" he stopped when he realised there is someone they don't know.

"I'll tell you all. But first, let hear us..."

Nina and Jin told them about their plans, the fair and Nina's little family of victims of Mishimas.

"So what do you expect to achieve from the fair? Because I had been attending them for two years until two years ago. And Alisa is going there for two years. And there's never anything unusual for four years." Lars asked.

"Every year? But this is the only year we heard about it."

"In the past years, it was more isolated. This year they decided to expand, I guess. I have never seen schools in the fair before."

"So they decided to add those. I wonder why. Are you positive that there were never anything unusual."

He thought for awhile. "Not that I recall, no."

"What about you?" Nina asked Jin.

"Me? Uh, I never attend the fairs. Or anything related to Mishimas."

"Do they know who you are? I mean, they're onto you, right?"

"Yeah, I am some kind of a fugitive myself."

She rolled her eyes.

"And you?" She asked Alisa too. She was looking like she wants to tell something.

"Actually..." Lars interrupted immediately. "Oh, not that again..."

"It was unusual. And you weren't there, shut up." Alisa turned her back to him annoyedly.

"Listen, last year I realized that someone in suit were walking around in the fair. But he was coming in and out from tents, back of the curtains et cetera. It is not that suspicious, I know. But I found a photograph from two years ago in the fair. And that man was there also. But he wasn't a man in suits. He was one of the scientists from a random lab."

"I've never heard anything less suspicious."

"Who won that years contest?" Nina was valuing every clue. If she suspected there might be something she subconsciously realized there.

"I don't remember but not those guys."

"Hm, do you remember their projects?"

"I don't know exactly but they were in genetics part of the fair. It is always divided in subbranches."

"I don't know, the story isn't suspicious but I believe there's a reason you suspected. Maybe this year, we'll see him again."

"Women, right?" Lars turned to Jin.

He nodded.

"So it will be you and me in this year?" Alisa asked Nina. She turned to Lars. "You are not attending either?"

"He's the real fugitive actually. He's the one who escaped from their lab."

Lars nodded and showed his arm. There were scars. She felt so bad when she saw those. She thought what condition might Anna be by now. It hurted her deeply.

"It's me and one of my friends if that's okay. He had something to do he couldn't come with us today."

"Okay, 3 is alright." She said. Then smiled "I'll show you around, come." She stood up.

What a house! They have extra rooms and on the terrace they even have a pool!

The house tour was done. The house was amazing. "How did you get this house?" She asked in amazement.

"This laboratory got us." Jin explained.

"Never took you for a scientist." She placed her hand on her waist.

"I can't say I am. I'm just helping. Alisa and her father are the real scientists here." Jin turned to Alisa. "Where is he by the way?"

"He'll be here soon. He went for groceries." Then they heard noises from the door. "Here he is!" She run to the door, opened it and took the packages from him.

"Look dad, who is back?"

"Oh my lord, Jin!" He was excited. He came closer quickly and hugged the man who was double him. "Are you alright?" He was patting on his back.

"Yes, I am perfectly fine."

He took a few steps back to have a look at him. "Aaaah, you are fine!"

He turned to Nina who watches them silently. "Who is this lovely lady?" asked the old man.

"This is Nina, she and her she friends helped me when she was injured."

"Oooh!" He exclaimed and also hugged Nina. She was surprised and looking at Jin. He shrugged and smiled.

"Let's eat, let's go!" The old man directed them to kitchen.

Jin and Nina sat down while the others were preparing a breakfast.

"Should I tell them that you were actually not very welcoming?"

She chuckled. "Please don't."

"Papa, ty vstavlyal probirki v tsentrifugu?" Alisa spoke in Russian to his dad. Nina turned to them as soon as she heard Russian.

It's been long she hasn't heard Russian. She hoped she would never hear it again. Not after what they've been through in Russia. She and Anna... She didn't want to recall those horrible times.

"They are speaking Russian." Jin said when he realized she was completely distracted after they start speaking Russian.

"Yeah, know." She said.

She came back to her senses "Anyway, did I tell you that l've stayed in the center before?"

"Where?"

"I don't remember exactly but it was in the first zone. The best neighborhood."

"Wow, you were rich!"

"No, no. We were staying with a friend."

"You all?"

"Not the others, just me and my sister." "Oh..." He knew about her sister or Forest's father, Hwoarang's master. He tried to change the subject. "You can call if one of the guys is in town, we can have breakfast altogether."

"I can't, because we don't own telephones. They are trackable."

"Oh come on!" He stood up and hold her arm to took her somewhere. He opened a drawer and there were lots of telephones.

"These are untraceable devices." He handed her one of them. Then he took a bag started to fill it. "Forest, Hwoarang, Kunimitsu, Xiaoyu... Would Master Wang want one?" he asked. Nina was clueless.

"Anyway, one for him too." He hand her the bag and took back the phone from her.

"We're in 21st century." he said while he was typing on her phone. "Here, that's my number. Maybe you would like to send messages during holidays or my birthday." He hand it her again. She read what he wrote. "Sleeping beauty huh?" She raised a brow.

"You shouldn't use names just in case. I always save my contacts with my first memory with them, so I name you as 'Tranquilizer'" He smiled.

"And you're supposed to be the sleeping beauty in my first memory?"

"I was sleeping technically." He explained.

"I will save you as spicy mushrooms."

They had breakfast. It was actually too late for breakfast for her.

Then they made their plans and the evening has come.

"Well, I better be get going before sunset." She said.

"You can stay here if you want." Alisa suggested.

"No, no. Thank you but I need to go."

"Then we can give you a lift, right guys?" She turned to them.

"Did you find my motorbike?" Jin asked.

"Yes we did, it's in the garage." Lars said.

"Perfect, thanks. I can give you a lift then." Jin offered to Nina.

"Actually, no need. I can walk back."

"It will take no more then fifteen minutes. It's more then one hour by walk."

"But, you know. The guys after you. Don't risk it, will manage."

"Wait for a while, it will be dark soon. It's safer." Lars suggested.

"Tea is served!" The old man came in with tea tray.

"Perfect timing."

"Is it green tea, smells so good!"

So she waited for another thirty minutes. She hoped the other wouldn't be worried. Because everyone would turn back home before sunset normally. Because nights are dangerous for them unlike those guys here. She kept checking at her watch.

"Let's go." Jin and Nina got on his motorbike and he started to ride. When they reached the roadside of the woods Nina told him to stop. He got slower and asked why.

"I can walk the rest The road is very bad after here."

"No, will drop you at the door. Night is dangerous."

"I thought the daylight was."

"If you are not on a bike and alone, night is more dangerous." He got faster. Stopped when they reach the hospital.

"Come say hi." Nina took off the helmet.

"I can't. I'm empty handed. 'Ll come later with my thank you gifts."

"Oh come on, it doesn't matter."

"Lateeeerrr." He started the engine and waved her.

"Okay..." She waved and entered in.

"Nina is baaaack!" Forest announced. "We couldn't wait for dinner, there are still some of you want."

"No, I ate." She sat down with them.

"Where are you, you spoiled child?" Hwoarang asked.

"I went to the lab. Apparently, our Jin was living-in-a-house-with-a-pool kind of guy."

"And you spend your whole time in the pool?" Hwoarang teased her. She throw the cushion and continued. "I met his friends. One of them escaped from the Mishima Labs. He has a big scarred area on his arm."

"Can we skip the hot guys part please?"

"Shut up!" Nina told them all about the things they said about the fair. They were gonna work together in this since they all share the same enemy.

"And by the way..." She brought out the bag filled with telephones. "Jin sent them to you all. Untraceable devices."

"Oh yessss!" Forest exclaimed. "I told you I was getting good vibes from the guy!"

"Hwoarang said that."

"Anyway, I was getting too..."

"Oh, he sent me too!" Xiaoyu was very happy. "He's so nice..." She turned to Nina. "Will you miss him, Nina?"

Nina turned to her in shock. Kunimitsu chuckled silently.

"Why would I miss him?" She asked. Why would she?

"I don't know, I'll miss him." she said.

Nina hit Kunimitsu lightly with her elbow. It meant 'why are you chuckling at?'

"She's spent the whole day with him. Maybe she won't need to miss him at all..." Forest said.

"Oh, shut up weirdos." She stood up. "I'm gonna go, take a shower."

"Nina, I will always help you. If you ever geel lonely, or miss him deeply, don't you forget, you have two broad shoulders to dry on." Hwoarang patted on his shoulders and mocked her.

Nina put a middle finger up and left.
