Thailog sat in his own room, thinking about what kind of fun he could do to Brooklyn.

I can keep him a little longer, maybe interrogate him about how it feels to be second in command. Then after, play with his thoughts and doubts, make him lose faith in himself, and that would want him to have me take over, yes… he thought, grinning sinisterly. Oh he was gonna have fun.

But how to do it? Well, starvation is one key in making someone talk and respect you. Don't give them anything until they beg for it, and be willing to do anything for a crumb. Thailog nodded. Yes, that's how his first game with his guest will go if he wouldn't talk willingly, trying starvation first and, stomach torture, pressing on his empty stomach with his hands, could have him beg for relief as well as for food.

Brooklyn was feeling nervous right now, wondering why Thailog wasn't doing anything to him yet, until the door opened.

The gargoyle clone stood over Brooklyn. "How's my little guest fairing?" He sneered. Brooklyn huffed.

"I wouldn't call kidnapping hospitality," he growled. Thailog frowned, pressing the button, and Brooklyn seized up from the familiar pain of the taser.

"I wouldn't be using this so much if you'd only behave, Brooklyn. I came to ask questions." Thailog said.

"What s-sort of questions?" Brooklyn wheezed, still under the pain of the tazing. Thailog held up Brooklyn's chin. "What's your role of second in command to my Father like? How does it feel to be next in line?" He asked.

Brooklyn glared, pulling his chin away from Thailog's hand. "I won't say anything!" He growled. Whatever you want to do with me it won't work! This has got to stop, Thailog. Getting the humans to fear us for respect, it's mad! They'd only hate us more!" Brooklyn exclaimed, trying to at least persuade him.

Thailog bared his teeth, pressing the button yet again, and the terrible pain fired through Brooklyn's bones. Thailog then grabbed Brooklyn's hair tight.

"I see you're still strong to not give in. I say a day or two without food should persuade you, then we'll try this again." He said dangerously. Brooklyn just glared after Thailog as his cell door closed with a slam. No matter what, Thailog wouldn't make him talk, not even lack of food would persuade him!

His stomach had growled for the tenth time, and Brooklyn by now was feeling quite miserable and lonely. True to his word, no one brought him food, making him feel like an animal. He already tried finding a weakness in his cell, but it was deemed impenetrable, with only one barred window.

This is horrible, I'm hungry, and Thailog still won't let me go! Brooklyn thought, curling up, his arms feeling tired from being held up by the chains.

Yet again, his belly rumbled, making Brooklyn irritated. With no one to talk to, it made him feel a little weird in the head.

"Ugh, I know. I know you're hungry. Someone will be kind enough to bring me something. I just know it." Brooklyn said sadly, staring back at his cell door. He did his best now to only think of his family and not how hungry he was.

Then, once more his cell door opened. Brooklyn backed up as Thailog came in with two masked humans, one holding cuffs.

"It is time to see if you are more talkative now, Brooklyn. Take him," Thailog said, ordering the two men towards the second in command, who was breathing fast and hard.

The first undid his chains, hauling him up. Brooklyn grunted from a hunger pang in his belly, while the second handcuffed him from behind. He was led into a room with a table that had straps on it.

"On the table with him, I'm going to try asking the questions again," Thailog ordered. Brooklyn did his best to get out of their grip, but the humans were strong, strapping him down onto the table. The straps didn't feel good like the chains, and Brooklyn felt himself breathing fast, as Thailog came up near him, smirking.

"So, perhaps starving you has you more willing to part your lips," he said in his cool soft voice, sending shivers up Brooklyn's spine, but kept a firm glare on his face.

"If you're cooperative, I might be willing to feed you. Now, what's it like to be second in command?" Thailog asked, as one human guard held a plate of food in his hands. It had a lot that Brooklyn enjoyed eating, which made his stomach growl all the more, making him tremble a little. Brooklyn put up his game face, however, he would not respond to Thailog for his food.

This made Thailog pretty mad, though he knew Brooklyn to respond this way. The corners of his mouth turning up, Thailog made a move and used his hand to rub Brooklyn's sensitive and sore/hungry belly quite roughly. Brooklyn didn't expect this, and it made him uncomfortable. He winced, squirming under Thailog's touch, trying to get away from him.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm not doing any of that to you, I'm not like that at all, just seeing if you will talk from a stomach torture, that begins with starvation. I will do this should it growl again," Thailog taunted, doing a slow but painful press on his stomach. Brooklyn gave a small gasp and whimper, shutting his eyes, trying to ignore the aroma of the food overwhelming his senses and struggling with his ability to remain calm and strong.

Stay strong, Brooklyn! You gotta...ugh...stay strong! He thought, grimacing after Thailog pressed and rubbed severely on his stomach after another growl.

"Please...stop it…" Brooklyn pleaded, as it got worse.

"It will stop, only if you would talk!" Thailog demanded, growling as he even poked his talons lightly in his belly. Brooklyn gritted his teeth, not wanting to scream.

"I'll never...talk…" he grunted bravely, summoning his courage, keeping his glare. "I'll keep my family in my mind, making me strong enough to withstand any of your torture!" He claimed, now not even noticing the food anymore. Thailog growled, slightly scratching Brooklyn's belly, leaving a small red mark.

"I will not tolerate your stubbornness. With that, you won't get any food. Take him back, a couple more days in his room should prepare him for my next interrogation, we'll see how well he handles that one," Thailog snarled, the humans unstrapping Brooklyn, who felt nauseous and sore from the belly torturing, and they guided him back.

Once more he was chained, and left alone. Brooklyn felt sad he couldn't rub his stomach to calm it down, which felt like it was on fire from lack of food and Thailog's torture. He closed his eyes, trying to think of calm relaxing things to help himself sleep, and forget his stomach pain.

Goliath...he's started torturing and starving me...I don't know if I'll be able to get out alive...please find me...please…

Brooklyn then managed to fall asleep, though he had a tiny frown on his features, and a small tear fell down his face, as Brooklyn dreamed of his family, the only thing to keep him sane.

So starving him didn't work, but Thailog was smart, and gave a cruel smile at the idea for his next method of interrogation.

Any moment, Brooklyn, you will lose your hold on that silly little strong free spirit of yours...I'm betting on it!
