Chapter 4 – Jabba's Lair

So on with the story.

C3PO states his worry saying that both Lando and Chewbacca hasn't returned
from Jabba's Palace.

"Wait, Chewbacca is taken by Jabba too!" Exclaimed Ahsoka.

"Do you know this chewbacca?" Asked Windu.

"Yes He is a Wookie. i met him in the forest moon of Trandosha. he helped me and some jedi younglings escape." Said Ahsoka.

Artoo whistles timidly.

"Don't be so sure. If I told you half the things I've heard about this
Jabba the Hutt, you'd probably short-circuit." says C3PO

The two droids stop at the large gate to the palace.

C3PO says that he will knock first before trying to enter. (there isn't
much choice anyway)

Typical Threepio" Said Anakin
The Jedi in the room chuckled in amusement to the Droid's antics.

Threepio looks around for some kind of signaling device, then timidly
knocks on the iron door.

after waiting for some time with no response. C3PO proposes to return to master Luke
not liking this one bit.

A small hatch in the middle of the door opens and a spidery mechanical
arm, with a large electronic eyeball on the end, pops out and inspects
the two droids.

A strange voice began speaking on hutese over the intercom.

C3PO was stunned at first but later replies in Hutese as well.

I guess C3PO wasn't lying when he said he is fluent in 6 million forms of communication" Said Obi Wan.
"Of course he is. I made him master" said Anakin with a Smug look.

The eye looks from one robot to the other, there is a laugh then the
eye zips back into the door. The hatch slams shut. Artoo beeps his
concern.

C3PO still feeling bad about this mission tried to point out that they won't let
them in and they should leave.

"Threepio isn't fond of this mission it seems" said Kit fisto.
"No one is gonna be fond of any mission related to Jabba the hut. Its probably gonna end up badly" Said Anakin having dealt with the hutt lord himself.
'I just hope Luke knows what he is doing.' Thought Padme hoping his son would not get into trouble.

Artoo beeps his reluctance as Threepio turns to leave. Suddenly the
massive door starts to rise. The robots turn back and face dark corridor
leading who knows where. The droids look at
one another, afraid to enter.

Artoo starts forward into the dark. C3PO tags along muttering protests.
The door lowers noisily behind them.

C3PO continues to say to proceed with caution and they shouldn't rush into
this.

Artoo continues down the corridor, with C3PO following.

"Oh, Artoo! Artoo, wait for me!" says C3PO,

"Well there is no turning back now" said Ki adi Mundi.
"I wonder what luke's plan is sending those droids by themselves" said Plo Koon.

"Well, at least we can see that Luke doesn't rush into things like Anakin" said Obi wan
"Very Funny, master" said Anakin

The door slams shut with a loud crash that echoes throughout the dark
passageway. The frightened robots are met by two giant, green Gamoreon
guards, who fall in behind them. Threepio glances quickly back at the
two lumbering brutes, then back to Artoo. One guard grunts an order.
Artoo beeps nervously.

C3PO wanting to leave this place tells Artoo to deliver the message quickly.

Walking toward them out of the darkness is the twilek Bib Fortuna who speaks
to them in huttese.

"Oh, my! Die Wanna Wauaga. We - we bring a message to your master,
Jabba the Hutt." said C3PO scared

Artoo beeps another missed part of the which C3PO
translates: "and a gift." Then he realizes there was no gift.
"Gift, what gift?"

Bib shakes his head negatively.

"Oh boy something tells me this 'gift' is Luke's plan all along and I feel its not gonna work" said Ahsoka.
"I can't believe you have so little faith in skywalkers." Mused Anakin.

"Quiet, both of you." Said Yoda.

Bib saus to handover the gift and the message to him in huttese as he
will handover it to Jabba.

Surprisingly, C3PO says "He says that our instructions are to give it only to Jabba himself."

Bib thinks about this for a moment and then reluctnantly
gestures for the droids to follow.

"Nudd Chaa." Bib says in hutese.

The droids follow the tall, tentacled alien into the darkness, trailed
by the two guards.

"Artoo, I have a bad feeling about this." says C3PO

The entire jedi in the room felt the same. Though they kept quiet for the time being.

Ok that's a wrap for the 4th chapter. I know there isn't any much of a reaction, but then again there isn't much to react in this part until later. So today onwards i am gonna update only twice a month. So the next update will come around 31st May and then twice a month. May the force be with you!
