Some days later after the encounter with Topher, Amy and the new guy, Sammy was in her room, she looked really tired and her room had at least 3 energetic drinks and at least 5 coffee cups. Due to how she looks, the cups weren't consumed recently, so maybe she has a problem with cleaning. There was a tower of books on her table. Sky was sleeping on the sofa that was on the room, although she was never used to sleep on other rooms, normally she would have used Amy's room, but since Amy took everything when she moved to Topher's house, bed included, she turned that room in a library to help Sammy with her studies.

Her room was a basic one, bed, windows, many photos that she took with the "Pahkicrew" like she called them, the only people who were absent in those photos were Dave, Amy and Scarlett, she even got a photo with Topher in one of her birthdays.

After two hours, she just couldn't win against her drowsy state and fell asleep, just to be woke up 5 minutes later by her mom.

-Samantha… Samantha my little princess, wake up.- Sammy's mom, a white woman with dark hair who was wearing a blue shirt, white pants and sandals woke her.

-Eh?-Sammy woke up to see some butter toast next to her.

-You didn't have dinner, Sammy, you have been too worried with your studying, what's going on?

-Nothing mom.-Sammy yawned.- I have been just bu…

-Samantha.-Her mother hugged Sammy.-You don't have to worry too much about your future, you have almost a guaranteed future, I mean, you are pretty, you have Shawn and Jasmine, you are really smart.-Sammy's mom started to pinch her cheeks.

-Mom!

-Mom, please, don't talk bad about her.

-What? She made your life hell, she deserves it.

-Oh… That's… YOU DID WHAT?!-Sammy's mom looked mad after what her daughter said-Why?

-Because... I want to leave the past behind.-Sammy explained.- Amy made my life a real hell, but now she is suffering the price of her actions.- So I guess that could forgive her.

-Oh dear.-Sammy's mom looked worried for what her daughter

-I'm ok mom.-Sammy yawned again.- Sorry, I'm not in the mood, I'm getting really tired.

-Ok sweetie, if you need something you can call me. Don't stress yourself a lot

-Thanks mom.- Sammy hugged her mother and then she left the room. After that, she started to text Shawn and Jasmine with her phone.

"Sammy: Hi! :D"

"Jasmine: Hey 3, how you doin'? :)"

"Sammy: I'm really tired, my mom is still obsessed eith making Amy miserable and the school is stresing me a lot"

"Sammy: *with, *stressing"

"Shawn: Yikes"

"Sammy: By the way Shawn"

"Shawn: What?"

"Sammy: I think I found something that could be of your interest"

"Jasmine: What happened?"

"Sammy: Well, What happened is…"

Sammy is typing…

After that, Sammy started to write something, it was a rainy day, and whatever she was typing was making her happy. Her mom arrived with a cake that said. "My only princess".

-I made this one for you Sammy, see you tomorrow.- Sammy's mom smiled and then she left.

-See you mom!- And after Sammy's mom closed the door, she continued typing what she was telling to Shawn and Jasmine. She looked happy, although she was thinking in one thing about this talk that she had with her mother.

-(Why did my step-mom hated her a lot? And why Amy hated me? I mean, I guess, I will never really be able to forgive her for what happened.)

-Still thinking in Amy?-Sky who was sleeping in the couch of her room with just a blue shirt and red shorts as pajamas asked.

-Yeah.

-What happened between she and her mom?

-Let's just say that things were ugly, you didn't see Amy in the house, right?

-Right, also, your parents never mentioned her.

-It's because there was a huge fight between those 2 during Christmas that made her leave her house… To be fair, I can't blame Amy.

-Why?-Sky was curious of why Sammy was defending her sister.

-Mom tried to make me date with Topher without her knowing that I was dating with both Shawn and Jasmine… So It was kinda my fault.

-Oh, that's cute wait, What?! You are dating with…? Wow -Sammy laughed after watching Sky's "What the hell?!" reaction because she didn't expect that the cute and gentle Sammy was dating with two people… at the same time.- Please tell me the story.

-Sorry, I'll tell you once we meet Shawn and Jasmine.

-Awww.

-And how are you and Keith doing?-Sammy smiled and left her studies to talk with her friend about their relationships.

-Keith is a pretty good guy, not gonna lie.-Sky talked about her boyfriend.- He was really comprehensive and I'm gonna be honest to you, after he gave me a second chance and forgave me for the shit that I did, I have been tried to be the best girlfriend possible.

-That's cute.-Sammy and Sky sat on Sammy's bed and they started to talk for some minutes.

-Hey Sky?

-Yes.-Sky was really tired.

-Do you think that I'll truly forgive Amy?

-What do you mean?

-That I lied to my mom, I told her that I forgave her, but… I don't think I really did that, she is suffering because she deserved it, almost nobody except for Rodney, Topher and that weird looking guy that we met respects her. But I don't know why I don't feel OK. Even if I know that, she got what she deserved… We still hate each other, but like if… I don't know how to say it.

-Like if you don't hate each other that much?

-Yeah like that.

-Maybe… Some day you and Amy will end your feud, but honestly… I think you have to deal with it, I'm pretty sure that she will not be nice with you.

-Not that she was nice with me before.

-But she is nicer with you than before, right?

-Yeah… Kinda, but probably because she left.

-Sammy… You are a good person.

-Thanks Sky.-After that, Sammy felt asleep on her bedroom while Sky went to the sofa to sleep

The next day in Topher's house.

-What?-Dave asked curious about what happened

-I'm sorry.-A woman on the phone said.- I'm really sorry Dave, but I can't help you this week, my grandma is really sick. I have to check her health.

-No, it's ok Courtney, but what happened to your grandma? Have you attended her? What was going on?-Dave looked worried for Courtney despite not meeting her in person.

-It's the age, don't worry about it. Thanks Dave, I'll call you once the situation calms down.

-Yeah, no worries. See you later.

-See ya.-Courtney finished the call and Dave just sit on his bed, then he started to get really nervous, not because of him getting the name change delayed but because he talked with a girl.-Holy shit! Did I just talked with a girl?!- He dropped a paper that he had it was a script that he used if he got too nervous.

-So… How it went?-Amy, who was playing pool with Topher asked.-How was your first real talk with a girl?

-I think it went well… But the name change will take some time…-Dave was sweating bullets because of what was he saying, he was still nervous from the call.- I really need to practice talking with women…

-Man, she really did a number on you.-Topher said just to get a message from his phone just to be surprised with it.-Wow. It's the first time that I'll see them in many years!

-Who?-Dave asked.

-My family!-He said.- They are going to visit me after 4 years.-His girlfriend looked him worried about that commentary.- What?

-You were living alone since you were 14?-Amy was worried.

-Technically with my cat, don't worry about that guys, I was used to it.-Dave felt bad after Topher said that, he clearly had no idea that Topher was living alone long time ago. Amy then hugged her boyfriend, although Topher didn't seem to understand what happened.

-Why do you mean by "was" used to it?-Amy asked.

-Because I used to be alone in my house all day, my family always worked the whole time, so Uncle Donnie usually helped me to go to school until I was old enough to do that on my own. I can't blame anyone of them, they are really famous, so a normal life is not for them.

-Why the fuck did they leave you alone for a lot of time?!-Asked Amy annoyed with that aspect about Topher's family.-I thought that you were living alone since Pahkitew ended or when you became 17, not since you were a teenager.

-Oh… Well, Amy, Dave, I think that I have to tell you why I can live on my own… Sorry for not telling you before… it was because I was so forgettable as a person before Total Drama.-The guy commented.- You know… My family are really famous and all of that, but yeah, I was somehow too forgettable as a person, also, because of my dad almost always dying his hair and changing his hairstyles because of the characters that he interprets… Well… I wasn't recognized…

Topher was telling Amy and Dave his life before Total Drama. When he was a student he was not really popular, and his "admiration" towards Chris Mclean didn't help although people saw it as something normal due to the popularity of Total Drama in its moment. He was always in his school hanging out alone, not even bullies harassed him. Sometimes he even watched how some bullies were annoying their classmates but that didn't matter to him. This happened because of Topher not wanting to show that he is the son of 2 really famous people, so he acted as if he was a stranger because he thought that it was the best for himself

-Topher Michaels?-Topher's teacher always asked for his name because she always seemed to forget it.

-Here!-He said

-Oh, right, you.-She replied, uninterested of him at all.

Sometimes, Uncle Donnie was there for him, but it's not like if he can do too much, Don was always busy with his seasons of Ridonculous Race but he managed to take care of him if he was able to do so.

His only real friend before Pahkitew was his cat Chef and they two had a really long story. Topher found it when it was a stray cat and adopted it calling it Chef because of his admiration to Chef Hatchet. He tried to take care of it like if it was his son although he was really bad with it before Pahkitew, after that he tried to do his best and improved his friendship with his cat. Dude never had problem with the money because even if his family was never for him, they at least sent him money.

After Pahkitew Island was over, things were really different for him.

First of all. He suddenly became in the most popular guy in his school because of his looks. People never cared about how he looked until they saw him on TV, even his actions towards Chris Mclean and his constant stupidity that was just a façade to get Mclean's job were ignored because of his looks.

Then between his cast, he became popular too, he got friends like Ella, Leonard, Beardo, Rodney, surprisingly Scarlett and he ended dating with Amy. He was on good terms on Sammy though, with the rest of them no.

And finally what it made him really popular was the Total Drama Incident of 2012. Where he with the help of Courtney, Amy and the Milton Family managed to get Total Drama down for good and some weeks after the incident Dave started to live with him.

While Topher was telling this story, he was actually showing tears, he was crying. He was never open with his feelings because since he believed that it won't matter, he decided to let his problems for himself. Especially during the time that he met Amy, he may had troubles with his school, social life or maybe even traumas related to Total Drama, but it didn't mattered to him because someone else needed him.

-Sorry Amy… I hadn't been honest with you. I had troubles, I was dealing with my experiences from Total Drama, but you were my priority… I saw that you needed a hand.-He just sit on Dave's bed while he was cleaning his tears with his arm.-So… I just left my problems for later.-Topher saw how his girlfriend was trying to not cry, he put his own problems aside just for her, no matter if they were simple or complex, he didn't give them too much importance just to be there for Amy, he ignored his own problems, Amy just hugged him.

-You don't have to worry about this Toph… Not anymore… I'll try to support you like you did… So… When will your family arrive?

-In the noon.

-Ok. Dave, move your fucking ass.-Amy changed her mood to her "Classical Amy" one.-We are going to impress Toph's family tonight.-She smiled.

-Ok, ok.-He calmed his friend while Topher was chuckling a little due to Amy's change from being sad to literally insult Dave some seconds later.- So let's get prepared.

-Yeah.-Said the two guys and then they started to clean the home, to be prepared for Topher's parent's visit.

Meanwhile, Sky just arrived to her sister's home. She hasn't seen Rain since she went to Europe. Unlike Dave, Topher or Amy, Sky's life was actually perfect, no matter the challenge that she got in her competitions, she had no rival, it's like if she was born to this, to be perfect. Like Dave, she was not involved in the whole Totally Dramatic Incident of 2012 but not because she was lost, it was because she was achieving so many things in any European gymnastic competition she went that she didn't know what happened in Canada.

The only reason for her to come back to Canada was just because of her sister Rain gave birth to her niece Cloud. It's known from Sky that Rain's husband is actually an American guy who is in the army protecting his country and also trying to give Sky's niece a good life.

-Hey Rain.-Sky finally entered with some bags on her shoulders and hands and with at least 4 or 5 boxes in front of the door.- She saw her sister, a former athlete and an Olympic medalist was now a housewife taking care of her only child.-Wow.- Sky looked surprised to see how her sister ended as a person who takes care of her child without leaving her home.-What happened?

-Sky!-Rain, Sky's sister looked exactly like her but more mature, and her face easily shows that one of her parents is actually an Asian person that met a Cree person.-It has been far too long since the last time I didn't see you. How much time it was?

-Like 5 years… You know… Last time I saw you, you got married with Barry. How's he?-Sky said this question but Rain's expression showed everything when she made Sky look at a black and white photo of him next to a candle.-Oh… Sorry.

-It's Ok, it has been 3 years since he passed away Sky, I got married with another man but ever since I broke my neck I ended getting used to a comfortable life in my house. By the way, how's Samantha?

-Oh, Sammy is doing fine.- The Cree girl answered and she sit in the couch just to see how in a little chair made for babies was her niece. She was shocked to see her and literally screeched like Katie or Sadie but without making too much noise.- Awww, it's the most adorable thing that I have ever seen.- She said without trying to wake up the baby.

-Yeah, you are gonna stay here for a while, right?-Rain said.

-Yes, I wanted to take a break from fame and everything, return to Canada.

-Oh girl, you missed a lot, the Totally Dramatic Incident of 2012 was wild.

-Wait, I heard that Sammy mentioned that, I wasn't here, what was that?

-Remember that guy whose hair looks like a Gogo's Strange Journey character?

-Ehh, never watched anime.

-Oh. Remember John Brave?

-Oh! Yeah! That show! I loved that… Sad that it will probably have no chance to be popular again because you know…

-Yeah, let's not talk about that.-Rain finished cleaning the dishes and the after drying her hands with a towel, she went to the couch to be next to her sister.- Well, as I said, you remember that guy?

-Oh, Topher.

-Well, he provoked that.

-Wait, what?-Sky looked really confused.-How?

-Oh. It's a really long story, but I'll give you a short explanation of it from what I understood.

-Ok…

-Basically, what happened is this.-Rain started to explain.- When Topher was eliminated in Pahkitew, he got the phone that Chris had. After that, he wanted to spread it around the world, but his case wouldn't be too recognized, so he found Courtney, and then… Honestly, I don't know, I didn't see too much from the incident, Sammy told me that the only people who really know what happened are Amy, Topher and Courtney.

-Oh.

-By the way sis.

-What?

-Have been you thinking about Pahkitew?

-More like Pahkino. I don't want to think in how I almost ended losing my million.

-And what about…?

-The Scarlett Fever incident? Oh, don't worry, I haven't seen her Scarlett since I STOPPED her.

-If I'm not wrong, that was Su…

-Ugh, don't make me talk about her. Worst person that I met in the show.

-And what about…-Rain tried to continue but Sky interrupted her.

-Look Rain…-Sky sighed.- I know that you want to talk about Dave, but remember, he is dead, Chris abandoned him.- But I couldn't care less, that guy tried to kill me and almost got my relationship with Keith ruined.

-You do realize that you the one who ruined everything, right?

-What do you mean?-The Cree girl said, something that made her sister mad.- You are not saying that I have all the fault of it?

-Of course not.- Rain continued.- But most of the things that happened between you two were you fault.

-What do you mean?

-You shouldn't have lead him on.

-I didn't have the intention to do that.

-You should have told him that you had a boyfriend since the beginning when he started to make a move.

-He was interrupti-

-Then scream! And you should have definitely not have kissed him!

-Are you gonna be my mom?

-No, I'm just telling you that you shouldn't have been a jerk with him. You got lucky that you dodged any kind of karma like Harold dodged balls in that Total Drama episode about…

-Let's not talk about Total Drama, not anymore.

Rain gave up and sighed.

-Look, just think about your mistakes Sky, you are a good person and nothing that happened to him after you left him was your fault.-Rain tried to comfort her sister.- It was Mclean's irresponsibility.- You made dumb mistakes that dumb teenagers like you and your boyfriend Keith sometimes do or like I sometimes did when I was one.

-Oh please Rain, you are still young.

-Oh really, I thought that my age said otherwise, I mean, I'm 28, I lost a husband, got married twice.

-Wow…-Sky looked surprised to see how much Rain experienced despite of her old age, she's still 18 and she didn't have a really interesting life before Total Drama. Once Pahkitew happened and she became really popular because of Pahkitew and her victory, her life was more interesting, going to many athletic events, doing interviews and even being considered as a potential candidate to participate in the Olympic games.

-By the way Rain. Where I am going to stay?

-Well, when Barry and I moved to this house, we made a room for each one of us… You can stay in my old room; I ended always sleeping with Barry anyways.

-Oh. Sure. Can you help me with…-Sky didn't have the chance to talk about her luggage because of Rain's baby crying.- Oh, nevermind.

-Sorry Sky, being a mom is hard.

-Don't worry. I'm not a child anymore.-Sky took her things and started to go to Rain's room which was in the second floor. Once she saw it, she realized that it only had a TV, a bookshelf, and a bed, the rest of it was completely empty, the room was blue and it had some pictures of Sky and her sister.

-Well, new room, so I have to prepare it.- Sky started to walk to the living room where there was her luggage and some boxes with her stuff. It'd take her a lot of time because Rain was busy breastfeeding her baby.

Again with Dave and his group. Topher's family arrived, A 40 years old muscular men with brown hair and a 38 years old attractive blonde woman. Topher looked excited to see them; Topher's parents looked really excited.

-Wow.- I thought they'd be different.

-Nah, they are pretty nice people.-Said Amy.- Hey Mark, Annie.-Amy greeted and Topher's mom hugged Amy like if she was a really close friend.

-Awww, who's my favorite future daughter-in-law?

-Stop Annie, you are embarrassing me in front of our new friend.-The mean twin spoke while she was ashamed of Dave who's almost laughing of her.

-Oh so you are Keith Mason, Topher told us about you, you are from the US, right?

-Yeah.

-Cool.-Topher's mom said.- You see, you clearly made a pair of good friends, Topher and Amy are really nice people… And you know… We haven't been the best parents. We left Topher to do everything on his own since he was 14, and then the TDI incident of 2012 happened… Amy can you remove your jacket?

-Eh?-Amy asked.

-Sorry, maybe you could be trig…

-Oh, no, no, don't worry.- Amy removed her jacket, showing a scar on her right arm. A scar provoked by a bullet. Topher looked at Amy's scar, realizing that he almost lost her because of that.

-You know… Something that they haven't told you is that 3 months ago on January, Amy almost died due to a murder attempt made by Chris Mclean. Once they ruined his career for things that made him deserve to have his career ruined, Chris went to their house to murder them.

-This is why I always use jackets or long-sleeved shirts, I don't want to show that shit.-Amy pointed at her scar on her right arm.

-Holy shit…-Dave looked concerned at Amy's scar until she put her jacket again, so why are you telling me this?-Dave felt weird, he didn't feel uncomfortable talking with Topher's mom, maybe there are a certain type of women that he fears. Although he was feeling uncomfortable for talking about how Amy almost died

-I want you to take care of them. Look, I trust in those two, but I feel that you can be a good addition to them, Topher is really talkative, and Amy is really impulsive, you can be that calm element for both of them.

-But I'm really shy.-Dave commented and Topher's mom noticed that, so she smiled.

-Well, you could try.-The mom commented.- I heard your story, and I'm sorry, but hey, you can try to talk with more women. Do you have anyone in your mind?

-Me? Some girl to talk?-Dave started to think, but it only came to his mind one single person but he tried to avoid her, not because he didn't like her, but because he thinks this can end in a Sky scenario.- No, nobody.-He replied.

-Well, you can always try; remember that it's not late.-Topher's mom mentioned Dave that.

-Yeah, maybe I can try.

-You should… Don't forget it Keith, you can always start again, so do your best.- She said that last comment trying to look as young as possible

-Thanks Miss. Micha…

-Just call me Annie.-The woman yawned.- Sorry, we travelled from Europe to here just to visit our baby boy.

-Mom!-Dave and Amy chuckled a little with Topher being considered as a "baby boy"

-By the way.- Amy joined to the conversation.- Are you going to stay here?

-Honestly.-Mark, Topher's dad showed up.- We weren't planning to stay here for too much, but maybe we can be here for today.

-…-Amy saw Topher for a few seconds and he smiled her, something that made her blush.- Of- of course, there's no problem, I was just asking.

-Mom, Dad, Amy, D… Keith.- Topher was struggling to get used to "Keith", but this time he was faster, nobody noticed it except for Amy.- The food is ready.

-You should try his food, it's good.-Amy commented that to the parents.-He taught me how to cook.

-And I still owe him washing the dishes for a month.-Dave commented.

-Well, that was because of you losing a bet against him.- Amy couldn't help but laugh a little.

-Hey.- Amy and Topher's mom laughed with that commentary and at the end, everyone ended eating. Dave watched how Topher's family turned out to be really chill despite of them leaving their son alone for a lot of time, they loved him and like he said, they always supported him, so lone he wasn't.

Dave watched Topher's cat, a little orange car that surprisingly it also had a scar like Amy in one of its sides, apparently, he barely dodged a bullet, probably Chris shot it too, but now Chef, the cat, was like if nothing happened while drinking its milk

-(At least this is a change for the better)

You could see how Sammy was having a good family dinner with her dad and mom although something that she always considered as weird and even disturbing that happened to the house since Amy left was that all the pictures in the house were replaced by the same version but without Amy on it.

-(I guess that some things changed for good… My family doesn't even consider her as part of her family… Amy, I hope you are ok)

Sky on the other side, she was resting on her new bed, she finally prepared her room but she was busy watching the sky behind the crystal of her window.

-(Everything has consequences… At least I got lucky with my case… I wonder… Should I talk with Shawn about the message that Sammy sent him about "that guy"?)

The night happened. Topher's parents stayed on Topher's room, which was his room, meanwhile, he stayed with Amy on her room watching a movie, both of them in pajamas but Topher watched Amy's scar and asked.

-Sorry.

-For what?

-For letting that happen.- He looked sad.

He could clearly remember that night, the night when he almost lost Amy, she was shot in the arm, but it hurt and lot and the shock made Topher believe that she died, Topher's cat was also shot, but it didn't really damaged it a lot.

-If I was just not afraid of that moment… If I reacted earlier.

-TOPHER WATCH OUT!-Amy pushed her boyfriend out of her stairs, making him fall to the floor while Amy was shot on her arm.

-AMY! NO!-He realized of what happened just to see Mclean with his gun pointing at her…

-Like I said, you can't play the player.

-Or that I didn't finish the job

This moment happened 10 minutes after Amy being shot, the police was really busy with another case, so they were taking their time, besides it was almost 2:30 a.m. when this happened. Topher was beating Chris really hard, he was only wearing red shorts and when he finally got him unconscious. He saw the gun… He was tempted to end with his life… He had the chance… But he decided not to.

-Sorry…-He tried to not cry but Amy hugged him.

-It's ok… remember… everyone thinks that he was arrested for good… But we know that he won't ruin more lives…-Amy was comforting her boyfriend. Don't blame yourself for that… At least we are safe.

Mr. Milton was with the police and Chef Hatchet, and considering the situation with the officers in front of him, he took the gun, pointed at the unconscious Mclean, saw Topher who was almost with no energy left in front of him and said.

-Just do it man.-The former Total Drama chef sighed.

-Ok. Thanks Topher, you are a really good guy, all of the effort that you, Amy and Courtney made brought us to this point… We finally got him; justice is here for him… The ambulance is coming; I hope we can save Amy and your cat. Now for you.-Dakota's dad saw Mclean.-This is for messing with my family.
