The sun was at its highest point in the sky when he and Parsnips finally reached the small clearing next to a small river, with Alabaster filling his container before putting it in his bag. The trainer smiled as he watched the shy pokemon actually eating out of the bowl and looking happily, though Parsnips was smaller than an average Bulbasaur it was still adorable to him. As he fiddled with the small electronic smartphone, he opened the index and looked up the grass type and dex information as the soothing female electronic voice began,
"Bulbasaur can be seen napping in bright sunlight. There is a seed on its back. By soaking up the sun's rays, the seed grows progressively larger."
Alabaster peered up from the screen of his smartphone and peered over at the small grass type resting peacefully next to the small food bowl away. The young trainer had a sense of admiration and pride peering at his new pokemon partner. Peering at the pokemon grass type, his fingerless glove swiping the information and data, Alabaster scrolled through the last bio before tucking the phone into the phone pouch, as the trainer removed the dried meat and nibbled on the seasoned jerky.
The clouds overhead gave a welcoming comfort as the big puffy white shapes passed across the sky above, as Alabaster frowned guessing a storm was coming. Opening the weather application, it showed a small area location and indicated a few hours before the storm, as he stood up as the shy grass type groggily rose to its feet. Carefully the trainer approached as the pokemon nervously backed up, as Alabaster exclaimed,
"Hey, it's okay...just getting your food bowl to put it away." The pokemon though seemed reluctant, but in a way understood what Alabaster was implying as it gave a small cry. The bowl brushed off onto the nearby stream, as he watched the small fish-type pokemon nibble the pellets before quickly submerging to the deeper blue depth. The moment he and Parsnips sat at the edge of the water observing the fish pokemon. Alabaster seemed to run his hand on the surface on the head of his poke partner and seemed to blushed the two sharing a moment.
"Alrighty, Parsnips." Meekly seemed to blink as it stared at his trainer, as Alabaster removed the Pokeball and returned the grass type to its confines before exclaiming softly, "Thanks Parsnips. We will find the next area and will let you relax." The ball seemed to almost wiggle, but Alabaster tapping the button and clipped the capsule to his belt before cleaning up a few things to leave the rest area way he and his partner before proceeding to his scooter and putting his equipment on his helmet, and finally proceeding to the main road and assuring the scooter charged and had plenty of solar juice in the personal solar battery.
The majority of the trip through route 1 was mostly uneventful, as the clouds seemed to cast a dark shade overhead as he finally reached the small off route 1 Pokemon Center as the cast of thunder rumbled overhead. The trainer seemed to watch the leaves scatter across the entrance as the wild pokemon began to take shelter in the nearby foliage before Alabaster reached the entrance of the center as a pair of girls rushed into the center leaving him only as the weather began to pick up.
Rolling up his scooter and locking it up to the other side of the bike ride, Alabaster seemed to be thankful for the shelter and thought about calling Professor Oak on the PC and give his Pokemon a checkup while he was at the medical center for Pokemon, as Bill had programmed a Kanto region map on his phone. The young trainer was least thankful for the small awning for the protection of his and other trainers' personal bikes and transportation. The glass doors opened as the center seemed to be divided between a small pokemon retail shop and food cafeteria and Pokemon center at the entrance as a pink-haired woman waved at Alabaster.
The atmosphere of the center was inviting as Alabaster stepped inside the center and proceeded to the counter as a boy with a charcoal and light grey rat Pokemon Rattata was returned to the trainer before Alabaster approached the kind woman. The pink-haired woman waved as she cheerfully greeted him, with a small name tag that read 'Nurse Joy' as Alabaster removed the Pokeball of Parsnips and put him on the silver tray before a Large spherical pokemon, Nurse Joy exclaimed was a Chansey carried his Pokemon friend to the back room before Joy turned to him and bowed before exclaiming in an apologetic tone, "Thank you...give us some time to heal your Bulbasaur. Our center is a little busy, so your welcome to wait out the storm here or the cafeteria."
Before Alabaster left the counter and wandered off hestitant about leaving Parsnips, but figured with Nurse Joy and their chansey's at the facility to be in good hands. His stomach rumbling and decideding to grab some food, and stock up on supplies he felt a buzzing as a program icon showed up on screen before he answered the call and proceeded to the cafeteria.
