A/N: So in this fanfic, all the dead Marvel characters are alive again due to the multiverse. As I said before, I have no idea how the multiverse works, so just work with me here. Also, it's very hard to try to write about Wanda because her powers are so complex but she is still the best MCU character ever.
Spoiler Warning for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wandavision and Far From Home.
"Wanda." Wanda blinked open her eyes at the painfully familiar voice. The first thing she saw was Vision's face, and tears welled up in her eyes.
"Vis?" she whispered hoarsely.
"I'm here," Vision said. By now tears were streaming down both their faces.
"Is it really you?" Wanda asked through sobs.
"Yes," Vis said, helping Wanda to her feet and embracing her. Relief, happiness, and sadness flowed through Wanda all at once.
Finally Wanda pulled away. "Where's Tommy and Billy?" she asked.
"I haven't seen them," Vision replied, looking around their surroundings.
"Where are we?" Wanda asked.
"I think we've entered the multiverse," Vision said.
"Let's find someone to ask where exactly are we," Wanda suggested, using her powers to levitate. Vision rose with his own powers of flight and they flew across the odd terrain until they spotted a small village.
"Let's land there," Wanda suggested. Vision nodded and the two descended from the sky. As they landed, many of the civilians gave them looks of fear or ran away.
"What's wrong with them?" Wanda asked.
Vision paused for a long moment before replying, "Wanda, judging by the way they reacted, and the fact that none of the plants here are familiar to me, I believe we aren't on Earth anymore."
"Okay, but where are we then?" Wanda asked.
"Y-you're on Tython," somebody said from behind them. Wanda turned to look at the stranger.
"We've never heard of that before," Wanda told him, exchanging a confused glance with Vision.
"You know, the planet Tython? Close to Coruscant?" the man said.
"Coruscant?" Vision asked in bewilderment.
"That sounds so familiar…" Wanda murmured.
"Everybody knows of Coruscant!" the man exclaimed.
"What's your name?" Vision asked.
"Sugmar," the man responded.
"I'm Wanda, and this is my husband, Vision. We don't know where we are at all. Could you tell us more about Coruscant?" Wanda asked, her patience starting to run out.
"Yeah, sure. So, Coruscant is a city planet, right? It has no trees or grass anywhere. And uh, it's where the Jedi Temple is," Sugmar explained.
Sudden realization flooded through Wanda. She remembered Scott Lang telling her about the Jedi Order and the Galactic army of the Republic. "Vis, I know where we are now," Wanda said.
"Where?" Vision asked.
"This is the Star Wars universe. We need to get off this planet as soon as possible. I think we'll find the most answers at Coruscant. We should start there," Wanda said.
"How do we get there?" Vision asked.
"Umm… We need a ship," Wanda muttered. "Do you know if there are any ships around here that we could use?" she asked Sumar.
"Oh, yeah, there's a whole compound of unused ships. Most of them still work, but it'll be a bumpy ride," Sumar warned them.
"We've had worse," Wanda said.
"Well, if you're sure, you'll just go straight down this street until you reach that one watch tower, then take a right. Keep walking until you see a large wall and turn left until you come to a large metal building with no roof. That's the compound. You'll know when you see it," Sumar assured them.
"Thank you, sir," Vision said before walking away with Wanda.
"Look, there it is," Wanda said, pointing to a tall round building.
"He said to take a right here," Vision murmured.
"One second," Wanda said before lifting herself into the air and scanning the buildings until she spotted a large metal dome with no roof. "There it is. Come on."
Wanda and Vision flew the short distance to the compound, landing in the center. All the workers there-which wasn't that many- gave them the same looks of fear that the other civilians had given them when they landed in the town.
"Uh, h-how can I help you?" one of the workers asked, backing away nervously.
"We need a ship," Wanda explained, trying not to make her tone sound threatening.
"J-just take any you see," the worker said, gesturing with his hand to the ships near them.
"I'm… afraid we don't know how to fly a ship," Vision told the worker, giving the ships a skeptical glance.
"I could probably just use my powers to fly it from inside," Wanda pointed out.
"Huh?" the worker grunted, looking confused. "Err, I could fly you to wherever you want to go," he offered.
"Oh, we don't have any money," Wanda said, suddenly remembering that she had no money on her. Besides, she wasn't sure what the people who lived here used as money.
"Money? You mean credits, right?" the worker checked.
"Yeah, right," Wanda said.
"We don't work with credits in this town," the worker explained.
"You don't?" Vision asked.
The worker shook his head. "No, sir."
"So… do we just take the ship?" Wanda asked.
"'Course," the worker said.
Wanda widened her eyes in surprise. "O-okay. Thanks. Umm, what ship would you recommend?" she asked, scanning the area.
"That yellow one near the wall is good, and so is that grey one next to it," the worker responded, pointing to two newish looking ships near the far right of the compound.
"Those look great," Wanda agreed.
"Why don't I show you around them before you decide for sure?" the worker offered.
"Thank you," Vision said politely.
"No problem. So here's the yellow ship. This one's got more of a modest design on the interior," the worker said, pressing a button that caused a ramp to lower. "You can take a look around, but with that one, there's not much to see."
Wanda stepped onto the ramp and made her way through the small ship. The worker was right: there wasn't much to see here. The space in between the ramp and the seats was about three feet, and the space in between the two side walls was about five feet, and there wasn't much to the seats and the controls.
"Let's check out the other one," Wanda suggested, hopping off the ramp.
"This one is my personal favorite. It's got much more of a sleek design, and much more room, too. This one's also got three gunner positions, so it's good for if you get into a tight spot," the worker said.
"Thanks," Wanda said, before turning to Vis. "Shall we?"
Vision smiled and followed her into the ship. "Where's the controls?" Vision asked, looking around.
"There's a door in front of you that leads to it," the worker called. Wanda took a few steps forward and a door slid open to reveal a walkway that led to the cockpit. She continued to walk forward, and as she did so, two doors on either side of her slid open, revealing two bedrooms. Wanda walked into one and pressed a button on the side of the wall, which turned on the lights.
The bed wasn't particularly large, but it would do just fine. There was a table in the corner of the small room, and Wanda tok a moment to sit down on the bed. It was surprisingly comfortable, despite how thin the mattress was.
Wanda stood up and walked over to the wall, which slid open to reveal a small closet. Walking over to the other side, Wanda noticed a small panel and pressed one of the buttons. In response, a portion of the wall slid away to reveal a window. Wanda closed it again and walked out of the bedroom and into the cockpit. Vision was already there, looking over the controls.
"What do you think?" Wanda asked.
"It has everything we need at the moment," Vision replied.
"The worker mentioned something about guns. Did you see any?" Wanda asked.
"Well, it looks like there's one down there," Vision said, pointing to a small area below the main seats. Wanda peered down. Sure enough, there was a gunner's seat and the controls used to fire it.
"I think there was one at the back of the ship, and one on the top," Wanda added, pointing vaguely at a ladder leading up to the top one and a ladder leading down to the one at the back.
"Should we take it?" Vision checked.
Wanda took one more quick glance around where they were standing and nodded. "It's perfect."
"I'll go tell the worker," Vision said, walking down the ramp.
Wanda took her moment alone to take a look at the other bedroom. The bed was the same orange color as the last one and the table was in the same spot as in the other room, but instead of a closet, this one had drawers. Wanda bent down to look at them more closely. They were wide and deep, perfect for someone who wanted to make this ship their home, but not quite as useful for someone like Wanda and Vision, who only had one set of clothes and no other belongings.
"Wanda, the worker has offered to show us how to pilot the ship," Vision said from the door.
"Right, coming." Wanda got back on her feet and walked out of the room to join Vision and the worker.
"You can call me James," the worker said.
"I'm Wanda, this is Vision," Wanda told him.
"Pleased to meet you," James said.
"And you," Wanda said.
"Here, let me show you the basics," James offered, walking into the cockpit. Wanda listened intently as he told them how to jump into hyperspace, how to land and take off, and some more basics of flight.
"Well, unless you have any more questions, she's all yours," James finished.
"I think you've covered everything," Wanda said. "Thank you so much. If there is anything we can do for you, we'd-"
"No, no, don't you worry about that," James cut her off.
"Are you sure?" Wanda checked, though she was secretly glad; they didn't have the time to help someone until they got out of the multiverse and back into their own reality.
"Absolutely," James assured her.
"You've been a huge help, James. Do you know where we can get some extra fuel?" Wanda asked.
"No need. There's a small hatch right below your feet. There's buckets of fuel in there, enough to last half a year," James told them, pointing to what Wanda now realized was a hatch. Lifting her foot from it, Wanda bent down to undo a lock and pulled the hatch up, revealing a very large compartment with fuel containers everywhere.
"Thank you, this will be more than enough," Wanda said, closing the hatch.
"Yeah, no problem. You can take out the ship whenever you're ready," James said before walking back out.
"Well, let's go see if we can make our way to Coruscant," Wanda sighed, walking back to the cockpit.
"He said you press these three buttons and then pull that lever to take off," Wanda muttered to herself, following the instructions until she felt the ship move. She quickly grabbed the lever that she was supposed to use to steer and moved it to the right. The ship lurched sideways and Wanda quickly set it back on course.
"Vis, can you remember how to make the preparations for the jump?" Wanda asked.
"Yeah, one sec," Vision replied, sitting down in the co-pilot's chair and pressing a few buttons. "You should be good now," Vision said when he had finished.
Wanda nodded and grasped another lever and pushed it slowly forward, her eyes widening in wonder as the ship shot into hyperspace.
Back on Coruscant…
Bucky looked around him. He still had no idea where he was and what was going on, but he didn't say anything. Besides, Sam seemed to know exactly what they had gotten themselves into.
"What just happened? Where the hell did he go?" Sam asked.
"I don't know," Ahsoka replied after a pause.
"You seem to know a lot more about what's going to happen then we do," Anakin pointed out.
"Yeah, it's really hard to explain, but I don't know what happens now," Sam said, sounding annoyed.
Anakin turned to Ahsoka and said, "tell Rex to inform all the clones to keep a look out for the Chancellor."
"Right," Ahsoka muttered, walking back to the clones.
"Wait, what's that?" Anakin asked, pointing up at the sky.
Bucky followed his gaze, squinting against the sun. there were two red balls of lights close together up in the sky. "That's got to be Maximoff," Bucky said, exchanging a knowing look with Sam.
"I'll go get her," Sam sighed.
"No you won't," Anakin said, taking a threatening step forward. "I'll take care of that."
"Well, you'd better watch what you say around her. If you piss her off, you'll find yourself needing a thousand jedi to combat her powers," Sam warned.
"She'll react better to familiar faces," Bucky added.
"Fine, you can come," Anakin agreed grudgingly.
"We don't need to go anywhere," Sam said, deploying Redwing.
A moment later, Wanda's voice came through Sam's gear. "Sam?" she asked.
"Wanda, can you see us?" Bucky asked, looking at Wanda.
"Just follow Redwing," Sam said.
"Copy," Wanda replied, and Bucky saw her descend from the sky.
As she got closer, Bucky noticed she had someone with her. "Is that Vision?" Sam asked.
"Yes," Wanda said. "I'll explain everything in a moment." Bucky noticed Anakin was looking bewildered, though he wasn't saying anything.
"Have either of you seen Tommy or Billy?" Vision asked as soon as they landed.
Bucky looked questioningly at Sam. Sam shook his head and asked, "who's that?"
"They're our kids," Wanda explained, her voice shaking slightly.
"You two had kids?" Bucky asked in surprise.
Wanda nodded. "Have you seen them?" she repeated. "They're both ten years old."
Did they have kids ten years ago without anyone noticing? Bucky wondered. Wanda seemed to notice his confusion and she said, "they went from babies to ten year olds in one day," she explained.
"What? How is that even possible?" Anakin asked, finally speaking.
"Sam, who is this?" Wanda asked threateningly, her eyes starting to glow red.
"Wanda, it's okay, he's been helping us," Sam reassured her.
Before Wanda could respond, Ahsoka came back over. "Master, I told Rex to-" Ahsoka broke off as she saw Wanda and Vision. "Who are they?" she asked.
"I think they're friends of Sam and Bucky," Anakin whispered.
"Where are we?" Wanda asked.
"The Jedi Temple on Coruscant," Sam replied. "It's from the Star Wars universe which is a-"
"I know what Star Wars is," Wanda cut him off.
"You've seen it too?" Bucky asked, not liking being the only one who had no idea what was going on.
"No, but Scott talks about it a lot," Wanda replied.
"I've never seen it either," Vision added.
"Didn't Tommy and Billy watch that?" Wanda asked Vision.
"Oh, yes, they said it was way too old though," Vision replied.
"Hey," Anakin said. "Who are you?"
"I'm Wanda, this is Vision," Wanda replied.
"Wait, we need to talk to Wanda and Vision alone for a minute," Sam said.
Should we get spidy too?" Bucky suggested.
"Yeah, would you mind?" Sam agreed.
"Sure," Bucky said, walking back to where Peter and the remaining clones were. "Hey, Come on," he said, waving his hand for Peter to follow.
"Umm, hi, I'm Peter Parker," Peter introduced himself awkwardly, catching up to Bucky.
"Yeah, we've met," Bucky replied, remembering their fight at the airport.
"Right, sorry."
"You say sorry a lot, don't you?" Bucky asked.
"Umm… Kind of?" Peter replied, sounding embarrassed.
"Who are you?" Anakin asked as Peter approached.
"I'm, uh, Spiderman," Peter said.
Anakin looked like he was going to ask what in the world Peter ment, but he didn't say anything.
"There's one thing I want to know," Bucky said, directing his attention at Wanda. "How is Vision here? Didn't he die?"
"Yes, but then Wanda revived me, but she had to kill me again. I just woke up a few yards from her on the planet Tython, which we just left," Vision told him.
"Why did you kill your own husband?" Anakin asked.
"I… Created a small world of our own, but I was… I-I was hurting people, so I had to take it down, but that meant… Th-that meant that I had to kill Vision and our children," Wanda said, her eyes starting to water, but she quickly blacked away the tears.
"Master, should I take them to my room where they can talk in private?" Ahsoka asked.
Bucky looked at her gratefully as Anakin said, "Right. Then come and join me so we can figure out what to do about Palpatine."
Ahsoka nodded, then looked at the five Avengers. "Follow me," she said before walking back into the temple, pausing to check on the clones who were still standing guard at the entrance. Then she led them down many large halls until she stopped and opened a door on her right. "There's not much room for five of you, but I'm afraid this is the best I can do," Ahsoka said apologetically.
"It'll be fine," Sam reassured her.
"Great. I have to go now, but I'll send Fives down to the end of the hall in case you need anything," Ahsoka said.
"Thanks," Sam said before walking into the cramped space. Bucky and the rest of the Avengers followed him.
"So… Does anyone have any questions?' Sam asked.
"What reality are we in?" Vision asked immediately.
"The Star Wars reality," Peter responded.
"Right," Vision said, though he didn't sound like the answer satisfied him.
"Who else is here?" Wanda asked.
"I don't know. I'll ask the jedi to keep a look out for anyone they would consider to be strange," Sam said.
"Me and Sam woke up somewhere in the temple. Vision, you said you and Wanda woke up on… Tython? Peter, what about you?" Bucky asked.
"Felucia," Peter said.
"Where's that?" Sam asked.
"It's a part of the outer rim. We're in the deep core," Peter added.
"What about you two?" Wanda asked Sam and Bucky.
"We told you, we woke up here," Bucky said.
"No, I mean what have you been doing lately," Wanda said, looking pointedly at Sam's shield.
Bucky and Sam explained to Wanda how the Flag Smashers, led by Carlie Morgenthau had tried to get things back to the way they were during the blip and how they had been forced to fight them.
"What about you, Peter?" Sam asked.
"I'm actually in trouble at the moment," Peter said.
"How so?" Bucky asked.
"Umm… I was fighting this one guy, Mysterio," Peter said.
"Right, I saw it on the news," Sam said.
Bucky listened as Peter described his fight with Mysterio and how the whole world knows his name now. Then Wanda and Vision explained their fight against Agatha Harkness, and everything else that was going on inside and out of the 'hex'. Bucky found it particularly interesting that Monica Rambeau now had powers as well.
"So, sounds like we've all had an interesting past few months," Sam needlessly concluded.
Bucky was about to add something when a clone burst into the room, exclaiming, "General Kenobi thinks he just found two of your friends. Do the names Tony Stark and Steve Rogers sound familiar?"
Everyone in the room stared at each other in shock for a long moment before Sam finally said, "very familiar. But there's a problem: they're both dead."
A/N: I'm not exactly sure how to describe the way Wanda and Vision's new ship looks aside from saying that it has a design similar to the Milano (the ship from Guardians of the Galaxy).
