A breeze made its way down and lifted up a pile of newspapers from the ground.
Kira desperately reached for the newspapers but found herself too short for such a task.
She kicked a rock in frustration, those papers had been her only shelter for the night, but looks like she'll just have to make it without them.
Luckily she didn't have to sulk over the papers for long as she heard a noise. Some poor city dweller had found themselves in the wrong alleyway. She carefully sneaked over and dove behind a dumpster.
When she heard the unknown victim next to the dumpster she jumped on their back.
Kira took her trusted stick and forced it into the victims mouth, making them unable to scream for help. She quickly dug through their pockets, to her dismay the victim was only carrying some money (whenever Kira tried to buy anything the seller would just end up screaming and running off.)
Kira jumped off the person's back, grabbed her stick and disappeared into the dark alleyway, leaving the shaken up victim behind.
Kira's stomach made its funny noises again. She'd have to find a green dumpster before her stomach started hurting again.
However every green dumpster she found was empty. Those guys with green trucks must've emptied them again.
Her feet started to get heavy as she looked for a safe place to sleep. All the benches had those stupid armrests, and there were spikes under every bridge.
Eventually she managed to find a bench that had the armrest ripped out, she sighed in relief and curled up on the bench, it was pretty cozy, actually it didn't take more than a few minutes for her to be deep asleep.
