Happy Vibes
Kara awoke, snuggled up comfortably next to Barry, as she had for so many days now, since that first time. She looked up to see Barry, already awake, gazing at her with those deep emerald eyes of his. Barry smiled, running a hand along Kara's cheek.
"Good Morning, beautiful." He said, kissing her nose.
Kara giggled, before going in for a kiss on the lips, grabbing Barry's neck and pulling him close. They lingered for a while before breaking apart. "Good Morning, handsome." Kara almost sang.
"How long before you have to go to work?" Barry asked, as Kara began playing with his messy hair.
"Plenty long." She answered. "You?"
"Well we are most likely going to finish the time machine today." Barry said, stroking Kara's head.
"That's nice." Kara said, letting a small yawn escape her.
"I feel like I'm forgetting something though." Barry said, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Speedsters rarely forget things."
"I wish it were like that with me. There's tons of things I've forgotten and regretted later." Kara spoke wistfully. "Regardless, we have to get up. Work beckons."
"Okay okay." Barry said, cracking a smile.
Kara quickly went around her apartment at super speed, freshening up, changing, getting ready. She stopped at the table, waiting on Barry, who had already finished getting ready and was on the stove to cook up some quick food for the two of them.
"Here we go." Barry almost sang as he set down a couple of plates on the table. "A classic serving of Bacon and Eggs."
Kara's gaze went over the scrumptious looking platter of food, from the thin crispy slices of bacon to the rich, perfect sunny side up eggs, to the side of chopped up and boiled vegetables. Everything was heavenly. She was drooling not even a second later.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" she jumped on Barry, showering kisses on him. "I love you so much!"
Barry wrapped his arms around Kara, kissing her on the forehead, keeping her close, before letting go. "I love you too. Now go on, I won't keep you from food."
Kara excitedly hurried into a seat and started downing her food. She moaned after a few morsels, and spoke with her mouth full, "This is so good!" before continuing stuffing her mouth with food.
Barry sat beside her, eating his own food, as he looked on with amusement, and contentment. Seeing Kara happy and giddy like this always made his day. It wasn't just the fact that this girl absorbed sunlight for her powers. She just radiated joy, like a little sun herself.
His little bag of sunshine, he thought to himself.
Of course, it wasn't long before the two finished their food, and were set for the day. Well, the beginning, anyway.

Kara arrived at the DEO to find Barry and Winn at the computer. Mon El was also there, apparently answering some questions from Barry. She decided not to use her super senses to eavesdrop. She wouldn't do that to Barry.
"How's it going?" she asked as she entered the lab.
"Well we're almost done. They should be able to go back to their time soon." Barry said.
"Yeah, remind me to thank Cisco. His calculations really helped." Winn chirped.
"Wait… that's it!" Barry suddenly exclaimed.
"What is it, Barr?" Kara asked, slightly concerned.
"It's Cisco's birthday today!" Barry said. "It's what I was forgetting. God I'm a horrible friend."
"Barry relax, you've been busy, and the reason you're here is because you wanted to refresh your life. We'll go visit Cisco today, and he'll be happy to see you. Okay?" Kara said, quickly cupping Barry's cheeks and looking into those emerald eyes of his.
"Okay." Barry said, subconsciously having already wrapped his arms around her, once again smiling like his usual charming self. "We do need to get him something though." He added, thoughtful.
"We can get something from here. In the meantime, are you done here? When will we be visiting?" Kara asked, now excited.
"Let me finish up my part here, then we'll think on Cisco's gift. Once we have it, we can breach over." Barry smiled.
"Alright Barr." Kara said, smiling back.
Mon watched this exchange from a distance. The sweet talks, the intimate touches, the glances and looks, all of it. He knew Kara was in love with Barry, and he with her. He felt happy, but he also felt sad, and he knew all too well the reason for his conflicted feelings. Just as he'd told J'onn, he knew he still loved Kara, but he had a wife, whom he also loved.
He was broken out of his trance as Barry suddenly sped out, and was back with two cones of ice cream, one for himself, and one for Kara. He held it out to her with a bow, "My Lady." Kara excitedly took it with a squeal.
"I love it when you do that." She grinned from ear to ear as she licked the ice cream.
"For you, anytime. Also, I'm done here. Winn, you can handle the final touches, right?" he asked, turning to Winn.
"Yep. I got this." Winn waved from his work station.
"Shall we?" Barry asked, holding his arm out to Kara.
"Let's." Kara replied, hooking her own arm onto Barry's, and the two walked out, licking their ice creams.
"So what are we going to get him?" Kara asked.
"I dunno. Last time I gave him a watch, but I don't think that's the way to go." Barry said thoughtfully.
"Yeah we need to give him something he can geek out over forever." Kara said. "Like a spaceship." She added with a chuckle.
"Wait. That's it!" Barry said, suddenly getting an idea.
"What? A spaceship?" Kara asked incredulously.
"Yeah! You have one here." Barry gestured to her pod.
"Barry I can't give him that, it's not even mine anymore, it's DEO property." Kara said.
"I know. But if we let him get a picture with it and himself, on the condition of confidentiality…" Barry trailed off.
"Oh he'll love it." Kara grinned.
"We have our gift." Barry smirked. "Now to get to STAR."
.
.
Barry and Kara stepped out from J'onn's office, having received permission after much convincing, to let Cisco have a photo with Kara's pod, on the condition that he won't show it to anyone outside the superhero business.
"Now let's get to your Earth, Barry." Kara said excitedly.
"Hey." The two heard a voice, and turned around to see Mon El. "I was hoping to talk to you, alone for a bit, before I go. Do you mind?"
Barry put a hand on Kara's shoulder, seeing her getting awkward. "Go ahead. I'll be in the lobby." He said softly, and walked away.
"Hey. What is it?" Kara asked.
"I'm sorry. For breaking your heart. You were hurting, thinking you'll never see me again, and then you see me married to someone else. But the truth is, I think I still love you. But I know I love my wife Imra, and also, you have Barry with you, so I'm happy for you. I guess I'm really here for some closure, but, I am sorry." Mon El said in one go.
Kara took a second to absorb it all, and then spoke. "I'll admit, I was… not okay when I learned you were married. But you have nothing to apologize for. Seven years is a long time, and you did what you thought was best, and moved on with your life. You didn't stay stuck on me and be depressed the rest of your life. I would have kicked you a mile away if you had and I'd found out." They both chuckled a bit. "And you married Imra because you fell for her. You wouldn't have otherwise. Because I know the man I loved, and who loved me." She took a breath. "And I'm happy with Barry. I love him, and things seem so natural, way more than they have with anyone, even you. So don't worry. We're both fine." She finished with a smile.
"Thanks Kara. I, um… I really needed that." Mon El said, and the two went in for a hug.
"It's okay. Now I believe your wife is waiting for you." Kara gestured to behind Mon, and he turned to see Imra standing there with a smile.
"Goodbye Kara." Mon said.
"Goodbye, Mon." Kara said. She felt lighter in her chest. Closure.

Barry and Kara breached onto Barry's Earth, but not STAR. They went to the loft. Iris had left it to Barry and had gone back to Joe's, so there was no trouble. Barry wanted to call Caitlin about Cisco's birthday before Cisco knew they were back on this Earth.
"This is a nice place." Kara said as Barry was calling Caitlin.
"Thanks." Barry replied, when Caitlin picked up the call. "Hey Cait. Where's Cisco?"
"Cortex. I was hoping you'd be here. I thought I'd throw him a surprise party. In the speed lab." Caitlin answered in a whisper.
"Alright we'll be there in a few." Barry replied.
"Discretely, in ten minutes. See you." Cait said before hanging up.
"Okay Caitlin's throwing a party in the speed lab for Cisco." Barry said, turning to Kara.
"Great. When?" Kara asked.
"Ten minutes." Barry said. "We have some time." He added, before sneakily snaking his arms around Kara's waist from behind, pressing a kiss on her neck. Kara moaned a bit, before turning around and wrapping her arms around Barry's neck.
"Hey you." She said quietly.
"Hey." Barry whispered, and then he advanced slowly, teasing Kara's lips with his own, gently brushing over them. Kara let him for a while, before giving the back of his neck a gentle push, making his lips crash into her own, kissing him. Kara then pushed Barry to the couch. Barry plopped into the cushions, and Kara climbed onto his lap, straddling him, and proceeded to languidly kiss him. Barry kissed her back happily, rubbing his hands across her back, relishing her warmth, drinking her essence from her sweet, soft lips. As they pulled apart, breathless, they stared into each other's eyes, bright blue sapphires meeting deep green emeralds. The two let out a small chuckle together.
"That's never going to get old." Kara said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"No it isn't." Barry said similarly, grinning ear to ear. "I love you, Kara Danvers."
"I love you too, Barry Allen." Kara said, sporting the same grin as Barry, before resuming their make out session.

The two heroes discretely sped into the Speed Lab, surprisingly not late, thanks to Caitlin texting Barry a minute before, with details on how it would go.
Barry and Kara hid on either side of the door with confetti poppers, as Caitlin slowly ushered Cisco in, covering his eyes with a blindfold. She'd let Frost ice his mouth shut so he couldn't ask questions, so all he could do is groan, until they entered the room, and Frost broke the ice.
"Ay what the hell, Frost? That much cold stings, you know-" Cisco was cut off as his blindfold was removed, with confetti raining down on him, as his eyes adjusted to the light, to read 'Happy Birthday Cisco' in big colorful letters, hanging across the speed lab. "What the Frak?"
"Happy Birthday Cisco!" everyone yelled out, and Cisco turned around with a grin on his face. Caitlin, Barry, Kara, and Wally, who had joined them, were all there.
"Aww you guys!" Cisco said, clearly emotional, gesturing for a hug. Everyone piled up around him, forming one big group hug.
"How'd you like your surprise?" Caitlin asked.
"Great! I mean, I knew you were gonna do this, I just didn't know the details." Cisco smirked.
"Wait what? How?" Wally asked, confused.
"Dude, I can Vibe. I felt Kara and Barry breach over. There was only one reason they'd do that on this particular day, and not breach inside STAR, or not let me know." Cisco said in one go, cleaning confetti out of his hair. "But honestly though, thanks guys."
"Well, you're welcome, you sneaky genius." Caitlin said jokingly. "Now come on, it's time for the cake!"
Cisco walked to the table in the centre of the Speed Lab to find a Red Velvet cake with the words ' Happy Vibes' written on it. "Dude, that's cool!" he exclaimed.
"Make a Wish, bud." Barry said, patting Cisco's shoulder.
As Cisco blew on the candle, Barry went into flash time, and flicked a tiny bolt of lightning. As the candle went out, it was lit up again. Cisco looked perplexed. "Huh? I thought this was a normal candle."
"Barry." Kara said insinuatingly from beside him.
"What?" Barry said, feigning ignorance.
"Whatever." Cisco said before blowing on it again, only for the same thing to happen.
"Oh you sneaky son of a…" Cisco began, realisation dawning on him, as everyone burst into laughter.
"Happy Birthday Buddy." Barry said, still laughing.
"Now you're gonna wanna come to my Earth for a minute." Kara said.
"What for?" Cisco said, looking confused, along with everyone else too, besides Barry.
"For your gift, of course." Barry said.
"Okay…" Cisco trailed off, and followed the two into a breach, not knowing the epic gift that was in store for him.
.
.
After a fantastic party, and possibly the best gift Cisco could have hoped for from Barry and Kara, the two heroes retired to Barry's loft for the night.
"You sure you don't want to go home?" Barry asked Kara, who had already changed into comfy clothes.
"Yeah. I wanna stay on your Earth from time to time too." Kara said, blushing a bit.
"Okay." Barry said smiling. He sped into some comfy clothes himself. "Good day?"
"Good day." Kara confirmed.
"You want something?" Barry asked, pointing towards the kitchen.
"No. I'm pretty full." Kara said.
"Cisco was so giddy when we gave him that picture." Barry smiled.
"I know." Kara chuckled a bit. Barry offered Kara his hand, which she took, and he led her towards the bed. They got in between the covers, Kara once again finding the nook of Barry's neck, burying her face inside. She looked up once, seeing Barry looking thoughtful.
"Barry?" Kara asked. "What is it?"
"This place. It's a reminder of what I lost." Barry said. Kara felt strange. She could tell he was thinking of Iris. She was about to say something when she saw Barry now looking at her, smiling. "And what I have now." He said, bringing up a hand and caressing her cheek, pressing a kiss on her forehead. "Something far more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for."
Kara blushed once again. She felt warm, fuzzy on the inside, and let out a little squeal as she lifted up her chin, and pressed her lips onto his. The kiss was soft and sweet, an expression of love and gratitude, that they can have what they have. Or at least she hoped so, and that was what she stood for.
Once the kiss ended, Barry hugged her tightly, bringing her as close to him as humanly, or metahumanly possible, as if hanging on for dear life, to the beautiful, radiant Kryptonian girl beside him, the woman he now loved more than anything.
"I love you Kara."
"I love you too, Barry."

I don't actually know Cisco's birthday, so there's no date here, but I wanted to do this for some time somewhere. There are little to no mentions of Cisco's birthday anywhere, even on the show, so there you go. I kept the crowd small at Cisco's birthday, because, well, I thought it best.
Another thing, I don't mention Earth 1 or Earth 38 here because these aren't. These are separate Earths inside my own multiverse. I know, as if it hasn't been done already, but I want to go in this direction. I already have plans for crossovers, but they're a ways off, so please don't stop reading any of my stories.
Okay, shameless self promotion over. Let me know what you think in a review, and I'll see you in the next one. Peace!
