Abhijeet who was working on a file was worried for Daya as it was taking more than usual and he was not back
Abhijeet Pov. : Yeh Daya kahan reh gaya abhi tak toh aa jana chahiye tha shayad kisi khabri ke pass chala gaya hoga
Saying so or say trying to satisfy himself he again got engrossed in his work . After few seconds
Abhijeet Pov: Par agar khabri se milne jata toh bta ke jata pata nahi kahan hai yeh ladka. Jimmedari naam ki koi cheez hi nahi hai isey kab bada hoga yeh
Meanwhile Acp sir came out of his cabin and asked restless Abhijeet
Acp: Abhijeet yeh Daya kahan reh gaya ab tak aaya nahi
Abhijeet: Nahi sir main bhi uska hi intezaar kar raha tha ab tak nahi aaya
Acp: Acha toh call karo zara usey shayad koi zaroori kaam aa gaya ho
Abhijeet: Sir main kab se koshish kar raha hu woh phone hi nahi utha raha hai
Acp(worriedly): Kamaal hai kabhi aisa karta toh nahi hai woh. Acha tum ghabrao mat main Salunkhe ko puchta hu ki kya Daya wahan hai
Salunkhe sir arrived in Forensic Lab and got shocked to see the scenario. The whole lab was filled with smoke. On very first second thought of Tarika came in his mind as he was unaware of Daya's presence there.
Before he could move forward his phone rang with Acp sir's I'd flashing on it. He picked up the call.
On call
Acp: Hello Salunkhe...
Before he could say further Salunkhe interrupted him by saying
Salunkhe: Hello boss jaldi se forensic lab aa jao and he cut the call.
Acp: kya hua Salunkhe but the call was cut.
Acp conveyed the same toh Abhijeet and both tensed souls ran towards Forensic
Here Salunkhe hurriedly went inside and realised that this destruction was caused by a bomb. After that he began to search Tarika. Luckily moving towards her desk he found her lying there. He tried to get her in consciousness by patting her cheeks but she was not responding. He thought of sprinkling water on her face.
Before he could do that Acp sir and Abhijeet arrived there and on seeing the situation got really worried.
Acp called loudly: Salunkhe
Salunkhe: Haan boss main yahan hu
Acp and Abhijeet hurried to the direction and found Tarika lying there. Abhijeet's heart began to pump faster on seeing her lady love unconscious with blood ozing out of small wounds on her body. He held her in her arms and made her lie on examination table then started patting her cheeks. He was scared. Salunkhe sir sprinkled water on her face and after sometime she regained consciousness. But with this his brain started working again and he discovered that his brother is missing.
Abhijeet(worriedly): Salunkhe saab Daya kahan hai??
Salunkhe: Kya Daya yahan tha??
Acp(tensely): Haan tune hi toh usey bulaya tha na file ke silsile mein
Salunkhe: Haan par main bhi abhi aaya hoon
Abhijeet(same tone): Woh sab chodiye aur Daya ko dhundiye
He moved to search Daya. After taking few steps he stumbled and was about to fall when Acp sir held him. Abhijeet saw on floor to see the reason on stumbling and shocked to see injured Daya lying there with blood covering his wounds making them noticable.
The only words he could utter out of shock was a slow Dayaaa
Three of them hurriedly lifted him and made him lie on the other examination table. Till then Tarika had also gained her consciousness.
Abhijeet worriedly patted his cheeks and sprinkled water on his face which made Daya conscious but he was having problem in breathing.He took a sigh of relief as his both precious relations were with him safe and sound though with some minor injuries but they were fine.
He took both of them with him to hospital for treatment as he didn't want to take risk in case of either of them. Doctor bandaged their wounds while Abhijeet was asking him different queries.
Abhijeet: Doctor Yeh dono thik toh hain na
Doctor: Jee sir mam is completely fine but sir ko thodi der breathing problem hogi because inke lungs mein jo smoke gayi hai usne inki irregular beats ki problem ko provoke kiya hai
Abhijeet (worriedly): Par yeh thik toh ho jayega na
Doctor: bilkul sir
After getting satisfying from Doctor's side they came back to bureau. Till then team has investigated a little bit about the bomb blast and informed him as
Freddie: Sir yeh bomb low intensity ka tha.
Abhijeet: Hmm tabhi kuch jyada nuksaan nhi hua
Purvi presented her point as: Sir mujhe nhi lagta ki yeh blast kisi ko maarne ke irade se kiya gaya hai
Vivek: Haan sir mujhe bhi lagta hai ki yh blast sirf darane ke liye kiya hai
Abhijeet: Thik keh rhe ho tum log
After this he turned towards the injured duo who was till then resting on chairs
Daya on looking Abhijeet and reading his eyes murmured to Tarika: Marr gaya ab yeh class lega
Tarika who was till then confused about what was coming up on hearing this comment realised what he meant.
Abhijeet (in his typical form) : Toh woh bomb wahan poncha kaise
Tarika: Woh ek box aaya tha Forensic lab mein usme tha shayad.
Abhijeet to Daya: Tum Kahan the tab
Daya who was getting what was coming up replied: Main wahin tha file read kar raha tha
Abhijeet(straight face): Box check kiya tha kholne se pehle??
Daya (a bit stammering): Na...Nahi
Abhijeet (angrily chewing his words): Aur kyu nahi check kiya box
Daya: Woh...woh dhy...aan nahi raha
Abhijeet threw the report file on table with force and roared : Dhyaan nahi raha?? kya matlab hai iss baat ka tumhe andaza bhi hai aaj kya ho sakta tha. Kisi bhi unknown cheez ko pehle inspect karna humari foremost priority hai itni basic si cheez tumhe yaad nahi aayi. Box check bhi nhi kiya sidha andar laa kar rakh diya aisi laparwahi tum kaise kar sakte ho.
Saying so he moved out of the bureau and Daya sighed he felt bad for being scolded in front of everyone but he knew it was not anger it was his pal's fear which was coming in form of anger.
Tarika: Daya Abhijeet bhut gusse mein hai
Daya: Nahi Tarika usey thoda time chahiye hai main dekhta hu
And he left towards his destination where he knew he would find his half soul
