Hello humans. This is Tad Strange.
Recently, my friend - or at least what I thought was my friend! - has kicked me out of my own apartment, and refuses to let me back in, so I now have hacked into and have control over soakingwetpaper14's account until I successfully sue her and receive my compensation.
I would just delete everything on here, but you mortals like reading this fanfiction so much for some stupid reason, so I will post the next chapter for you, regardless.
But just know that this isn't the end! I will destroy you all!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA!
Sincerely,
TaD sTraNgE
19 hours, 56 minutes, and 3 seconds. With a side of bloodshot eyes.
That's how long it had been.
So far, that is. She found it all so complicated that she had started reading the material out loud, and she already had the first 12 pages of the pink-colored notebook filled up from top to bottom. Her eyes scanned rapidly over her writing over and over again, trying to get something to click in her brain, to find a connection in all of the points so she could finally just figure out the formula...
"Blah, blah, blah. Okay, the UFO was either attracted to this town or the town was attracted to the UFO, but the UFO caused the barrier I think… The barrier is perfectly circular, so I just need to use the information on the circumference of this town to calculate the area of the semi-sphere first. But what's the perimeter of the town?" She looked up, and glanced at the stack of books again, scanning through the titles, but there were none that would give her the information she was requesting.
Well, she thought. I was trying to avoid doing this but it might be my only option. Seriously, though, if this guy knows everything, then why wouldn't he at least hint me about this kind of stuff?!
"Bill." She said the name blandly, rolling her eyes as she pushed aside the thoughts in her head. He appeared right in front of her as soon as the name left her lips.
"The one and only!" he exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.
Narcissistic asshole. She usually wasn't even one to cuss, but she still couldn't help but say - er, think - it to herself, even though she knew Bill could still know what was going on through her head.
"I need to figure out the perimeter of the town. How do you expect me to do that when you haven't even provided me with everything I need?!" she said, waving her hands around to elaborate and further emphasize her point.
"Good point, Shooting Star. Hm… Ya know what, I'll send ya down there with Kryptos, and you can do it yourself!"
"What?! Do you have any idea how long that'll take?!"
"Measuring the radius of the town? Seems pretty easy to me. What's your problem?"
Anger was boiling inside of her as she stared at his amused smirk.
"What's my problem?! WHAT'S MY PROBLEM?!" she suddenly yelled, not able to keep it inside of her anymore. "You killed my friends and turned them into freaking tapestries as if they're worthless! You think my family - my great uncles - are just your stupid toys!"
"You should be grateful." was all he said.
"You made my brother insane." she responded coldly.
Unexpectedly, she was slammed against the wall, which took her by surprise. She blinked for a moment, her eyes. then shifting to see Bill's angry glare in front of her, and for those few seconds fear actually existed in her soul.
"I could kill you if I really wanted to."
With that, he walked away, and Mabel was left to slide down the brick wall and sink into the floor. It took her a few minutes to recover. But she regained her courage, and suddenly anger began to flare up inside of her once again. She got up and walked in the hallways, being careful to not walk in the direction where Bill went (wherever he had gone…), until she found who she was looking for.
Blendin.
"What's our plan?" Mabel whispered to him, looking around to make sure no one else was watching.
"First, we've got to talk to the Axolotl."
"The Axo-who?!"
"I'll explain it on the way!"
And with that, Blendin turned the dial on his... watch? Mabel didn't know what it was, but it sure looked like a watch. Anyway, he turned the dial on his watch-looking thing, and they vanished from the Fearamid.
They reappeared floating in some vast colorful expanse, pink and blue (and other similar hues as well) wispy clouds all around them. It took a while for it to clear, before she saw a giant pink salamander. It swirled around her curiously before returning to his original spot.
- I see you have brought back Mabel Pines. Blendin Blandin, tell me, how is she still alive with what Bill Cipher has done to their dimension? - the amphibian asked.
Blendin didn't know, so she answered him herself. "He thinks that I'm smart enough to figure out the equation myself. He did something to my brother's memories and he thinks Bill is an ally."
- Interesting. And the others? What has happened to them? -
"He turned them to tapestries. Literally."
The Axolotl seemed to ponder on this for a moment. - Take her to Dimension 46'/, Blendin. Parallel Stanford there should be able to help you. -
"Yes, sir!"
And with that, they traveled through space and time again.
"You seem to be more comfortable around the Axolotl." Mabel said, eyebrows perked in interest as they trudged through the forest. It was dark since it was around midnight in this dimension.
"He doesn't judge me like everyone else does. I know that if I just happen to make some sort of lousy mistake he won't put a burden on me for it, unlike how Time Baby did."
"Did?"
"Long story short, he got destroyed by Bill. He won't be back until a thousand years later."
"Huh."
Finally, after what had seemed like forever, they reached the Mystery Shack, and she knocked on the door - silent enough so that the alternate versions of Mabel and her brother wouldn't be woken up, but loud enough that Ford would hear it.
The door creaked open, and he froze for a moment before letting them inside. "You must be from a parallel dimension. Go to my lab so that the kids won't see you. I'll be there in a moment."
Mabel walked inside, leaving Blendin there to speak with Ford.
"I take it your from twenty-snevendy-twelve?" [A/N: Did I spell that wrong? Lmao.]
He nodded.
"Why are you here?"
"In her dimension, Weirdmageddon isn't over. Instead of Dipper and Mabel making it back, you and your brother switching clothes and Stanley's mind being erased, Dipper wasn't able to make it and died. Mabel told me the details on the way here. She said that she made a deal with Bill to get the copy of Journal 3 that Stan had made, and when she gave it to him, her brother was revived, but his memories were altered and he doesn't know who Mabel is. Everyone else has been turned into tapestries, including you and Stan. Bill's also using Mabel to try to get the equation apparently."
He was silent for a moment, thinking intensely, before he said, "I believe I know a reversal spell for what Bill's done to the alternate versions of us. Come inside, and I'll get to explaining."
