"Are you ready, let's go! We're gonna be late!" Nina shouted. Forest was nowhere around.

"We're leaving, see you there." Xiaoyu waved. She and Hwoarang got on his bike and left.

"Forest, where the hell are you!?!"

"I am hereee!" He went down the stairs.

"Stop doing your hair, nothing changes." Nina was pulling him. "We need to go to the lab first and it's already late!"

"Relax, we'll be there soon."

"How? Are you gonna teleport us?" She pulled him outside.

"No but I teleported someone here." He pointed. Nina followed the way he was pointing. It was Jin on his motorbike, removing his helmet. He waved.

"Did you tell him to come?"

"Of course." He said and walked past Nina. "Morning, brother!" They fist bumped.

"Hey, good morning. Sorry, I didn't know he called you here." She said.

"Good morning. No problem. Let's go."

"Let's try and fit your fat bottom, Nina." Forest teased.

"Ha-ha. I'll smash you!"

They somehow reached the lab. They needed to look like scientists. Forest wore one of the boys' lab coat and took a lab glasses. But their coat was too large and Alisa's coat was too small for her. Alisa's coat sides couldn't connect on the front.

"Hah! Who looks like a scientist now?" Forest was mocking. Nina looking around with a poker face.

"You either gonna lose wait to fit hers or gain weight to fit mine." Jin said.

Alisa chuckled. "Don't worry, we have one more, I think it will suit you." She went to took it back.

Nina hit Forest's belly with her elbow. And sent a killer stare to Jin.

Alisa turned back with another lab coat. This fitted Nina. Then she found Forest in front of the mirror. He was changing his hairstyle.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm disguising myself as much as I can. You're lucky, you don't have an unforgettable face. My gift, is my curse." He sighed and kept fixing his hair looking at mirror. Nina rolled her eyes. But she decided to let her hair down, since she was always making a braid or ponytail.

"Are we ready? Let's go."

"Let's do this." Forest exhaled.

They reached the fair. The first part was for students attending the fair. They saw Xiaoyu and Hwoarang there. They looked each other but didn't exchange any verbal or non verbal communication. They went directly to the second compartment which belongs to biology section. And the third was genetics section. They waited and introduce their project to visitors for a while.

"From this plant, we extract this and we injected it to lab rats. Then we made 3 experiment group and one control group. Control group was only exercising while the first group had a diet in proteins, second had artificial supplements and the third group was injected rats. As you can see, our injected group looks a lot bigger than control group and the first group. They're smaller than the second group but have a look at this." She showed the video on the tablet. "We left them at stressful situations waied for them to save themselves. As you can see, third group was undeniable more successful than the others. Then we made them fight to each other. 3rd group was again, more successful." Alisa was explaining their experiment while the other two was looking at her like two little kid listening to quantum physics.

"Why do they make rats muscular? That's a shitty experiment then. Why would I want my rat to be beefy." Forest whispered to Nina.

"I guess this makes people more muscular too. They tried on rats first."

"Say no more. Should I try this?"

"Do you want to join next experiment group?"

Alisa interrupted their two-digitted-IQ conversation. "Nina, that's the guy." She whispered. She showed a man in suit walking around.

"The suspicious guy?"

Alisa nodded.

"I will follow him."

"Be careful."

Nina started to walk around the fair. It was kinda crowded. She followed him to the students section. She was acting like she is looking at the projects.

Turning water into a soda by watering the plant and extracting it back...

This fair is a joke.

She saw Xiaoyu and her friends doing presentation. She approached and acted like she's listening while keeping an eye on the man. He was talking to a cleaner.

"Welcome! Let me introduce you to our project." A guy from Xiaoyu's group approached her.

Xiaoyu realized. "I got this, you can help these people there." And sent him away.

"Is this him? The most clever guy?" Nina smirked. She was teasing her.

Xiaoyu rolled her eyes. "Yes. What are you doing? You reached something?"

"I am following this guy." She pointed him with her eyes.

"The guy talking to Hwoa?" She asked.

Nina turned back to see what's happening.

"What- Why is he talking to him?"

"No idea."

The unknown man left and she went directly to Hwoarang. She was still acting like she's looking at projects.

"What did you talk with him?"

"He says he is the responsible here. And he said students are fooling around and going back of the tents. Since I am the adult here, he warned me to warn them."

"Hwoa, short answers. You're making it too obvious!"

"Students, smooches, behind tents. Old man, angry."

She face palmed. "What is behind tents?"

"How could I know, I didn't go back there. Find me someone to snog and I will check it for you."

"Anyway, I'll follow him."

She started to follow the man again. He entered the genetic section. This part of the fair was completely different than the others. Even the visitors were lookin different. They were like businessmen. She was looking around and also checking them. She realized the man she following went behind a tent. Seconds later, he came back and took a group of four or five suited men inside.

That's it.

She understood that she found something. She waited for a while. Then started to walk towards there. Then she felt someone's poking her shoulder.

"Ma'am, can you go back to your stand please." It was security.

"I'm, I wanted to look this part also."

"Sorry but you can't leave your project. You should go back."

Nina didn't want to make a scene so she turned back to biology section. She removed her coat and glasses and tried to bypass the security. She texted Hwoarang.

He came and told the security "Hey, man. These little perverts are at it behind the tents. That guy told me to warn them but they're not listening to me." He pointed the guy Nina's been following. He went back in again.

"Should I go there and tell him?" He tried to pass the security. He hold him. "Wait, I'll take care of that. Show me the way."

He managed it.

She went to the enterance. Checked around and swiftly entered. There were some boxes on the floor and they made a road out of them it seemed. She followed the boxes. Then she heard voices. She silently start to watch what's going on.

There was another fair here secretly and it seemed only those men in suits can enter. The guy she's been following was introducing something and showing them a footage.

"So we connect these to brain and switch off the pain center. Then, watch this."

She tried to see what's he showing to them. She could see a small part of it. There was a guy standing topless and there were wires probably connected to his head. She couldn't see his head. Someone was cutting his skin on his back without hesitating at all.

"Right in the middle, if we switch it on..." the guy on the video started to shout in pain. This was disgusting. They were doing an experiment on a human being and it was a cruel experiment. "Let's see the next one." The crowd moved and she could see the whole screen now. She couldn't keep herself from looking.

But... This guy looks so much like... Forest?

Oh no!

The guy in the footage, the guy they been experimenting on was Marshall Law. Forest's father. The one Forest is trying to save from Mishima Labs. And here he is, the subject of horrible human experiments.

She stayed there in shock. Then she heard the crowd is coming back, she had to leave immediately.

She left but she was feeling dizzy. Poor Marshall was in pain. Who knows how were the others. This was sick. Absolutely sick.

She went to their stand. Alisa and Forest realised something was off.

"Hey, what's wrong Nins?" Forest asked. How could she tell him that what she saw?

"I, I'm... I don't feel good. I'll leave. Can you two keep up?" She didn't wait for the answer. She needed fresh air now!

She could stand it until she got outside. Then she felt so sick that she threw up in the bushes near the entrance

"Nina, what's wrong?" Forest followed her. Of course he wouldn't let her go like this. It was obvious she's not fine. He helped her. Gave her some water and support her to prevent from falling.

"Nina what happened?"

She breathed in. "Forest..."

"Yes, tell me."

"I saw your father."

"What, inside? My father's here?" He looked back, he was ready to rush in and find him but he was holding her up and wouldn't leave her.

"No, no. Not here. I saw a footage."

"What footage?"

"The guy I'm following, showing some experiments to a few people secretly behind the tents. They are horrible experiments. I think I saw your father on one of them."

Forest was in shock. "I need to go." He mumbled.

Alisa came running. "Are you alright? I called Jin, he'll come and pick you up."

"Alisa, can you hold her? I need to go."

"Where, Forest?"

"I'll found out what's going on." Alisa hold her and Forest was going in.

"Be careful!" She shouted. But he was already gone. She was in panic. But what could she done other than hoping nothing will happen to him. She was barely standing.

"Alisa, can you go tell Hwoarang to take care of him? Tell him to not let him to do something stupid by himself."

"Alright but can you manage by yourself?"

"Yes. Yes, go please."

Alisa made sure she can stand on her feet and then rushed inside.

Jin came with his motorbike and pick her up. She was looking completely wasted. He brought her to their lab. He was helping her get inside. She was like all the blood in her body was sucked out. She was chalk-white and sweating tons.

"What happened to you?"

She shook her head. "Nothing." Her voice was too weak. Jin helped her get into a room and made her lie down.

"I don't want to sleep." She tried to get up but Jin stopped her.

"Don't sleep but lie on bed. You look like you're in hypoglycemic shock. I'll bring you something to eat." So she waited. He brought some fruit juice in a minute and told her to wait for the food.

When he came back with food she was sleeping. He left the tray next to the bed and looked at her from the door.

Lars came and looked what's going on. He saw Jin was watching her. He patted on his shoulder. Jin looked at him. "What?"

Lars was smiling. "Nothing." he left. Jin didn't understand what's going on with him. And he didn't know what happened to Nina either.

After thirty minutes he heard some noises. She woke up, the thought. He went to her room. She was pacing up and down and making a call.

"Come on Hwoa, open up." She closed the phone because he didn't pick up. She saw Jin.

"Jin, can you call Alisa? I can't reach Forest or Hwoarang." She was definitely worried.

"Okay, and tell me what happened by the way." He started to make a call.

"I saw a footage of Forest's father. They were using him in an experiment." Before she could finish Jin hung up the phone.

"No answer."

"Fuck! Can we go back, please?" She asked him.

"Yes, of course. But are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine." She was already ready to leave.

They went back to where fair is. There was come chaos going ob. They tried to understand. Then running Xiaoyu saw them and came near.

"There's a fire. We're evacuated."

"Fire? Where are the others?" She asked in panic.

"They already left. Before leaving Hwoa told me to be ready. So I guess they started the fire. What's going on Nina?"

"Where did they go Xiao?"

"I don't know, hospital?"

"What about Alisa?" Jin asked.

"I have no idea, maybe they went back to your place."

"I'll call Lars." Jin started to make a call. "Hey Lars, did Alisa and Forest stopped by?"

He waited for the answer.

"Oh, okay. Then we'll come there too." He hung up.

"They are going to hospital, Lars giving a lift to all three of them."

"Let's go then." Nina rushed.

"I'll wait with the school. You go. See you there." Xiao waited. Jin and Nina started to ride.

When they reached hospital Lars' jeep was in front of the door. Nina got off the bike and run inside. But she met Hwoarang before she could enter.

"Hey what happened, where is Forest?"

"He went into the woods angrily, I'll find him."

"I'm coming too." The of them left to find Forest. After searching for minutes, they found him near the lake. He was sitting on a rock ant was throwing little rocks angrily into the lake.

"Forest!" Nina shouted.

Forest didn't react until they came closer.

"I would take a little time to myself."

"I was worried for you Forest." Nina said calmly.

He chuckled. "No, don't worry for me. Worry for your sister, or his master or for my father." He threw another rock. "I saw the footage they're showing those motherfuckers." He waited. "I couldn't do SHIT to save him!" He shouted angrily.

"We got the information from the man, we'll go to that lab and save him." Hwoarang told him.

"I should've started the fire by burning that motherfucker first." He angrily kicked a stone on the ground. He started to scream in anger.

Nina can't help but go and hug him. "We'll save him. Don't worry. We got this." He hardly calmed down and hugged her also after he wiped a tear forming in his eyes. Then Hwoarang came and hugged both.

"A jeep huh?" Nina asked. They were back at the hospital.

"Yeah, damn. These guys are rich no doubt." Hwoarang said.

"We should do science too." said now calm Forest.

"Well, we should study the nature of my attractiveness." Hwoarang said brushed his hair back with his hand.

"No need to study, I know it's nature. It's arrogance and stupidity." Nina said.

Forest chuckled at these two. Ah, these people can feel him better in any time, any situation.

By the way Nina realized that Jin's bike wasn't around. Maybe he took Alisa back. They seemed so close to each other. Maybe they have a relationship, she thought.

They entered in. But Alisa and Lars were still here only Jin was missing.

"Do you feel better now Forest?" Alisa asked.

He nodded and sat down.

After a few minutes, Xiaoyu came running and hugged Forest. "How are you, are you okay?" He nodded again. Then Jin entered with beer packs on both of his hands. He must've brought Xiaoyu.

"I thought beers after planning would be great." He said and went directly to the fridge.

Kunimitsu must've told him.

He sat down. Hwoarang started to talk. "Well, we got info about the lab they're doing the experiments. And as Lars said, it's a different lab from the main one. So we don't know much about it. Only that it's relatively a small lab."

"My suggestion is to split up. And first try to get info by legal ways. I mean, we have a scientist here," Lars showed Alisa "And we can learn not much but we can learn physical information about builnding by that way for our next group. But I can't go with her since they may still know me."

"I got that." Forest said.

"No, no we won't trust your temper here. I'll do it." Hwoarang said.

Lars continued. "Then another group will get info by sneaking in." Forest, Hwoarang and Xiaoyu turned to Nina knowing she was the best in sneaking in secretly.

"Guessing that will be you." Lars said to Nina. Nina nodded. "Yes, I'll do it. And Kunimitsu is good at sneaking too." She suggested.

"No offense my Mitsu but I don't want to hear '100 meters to northwest and 50 meters to southeast' so I think someone else should be with you." Forest said.

"Because you do know where is north or west." Kunimitsu mocked him. Forest threw a cushion to her but she could stop it easily.

"Jin can cover you during mission, right?" Lars said to Jin. Jin wasn't expecting this job to himself. But he accepted. "Yeah, I can."

"Then lastly, attacking group which I thought you should take place in." Lars said to Forest.

"Yeah, I liked this group."

"And I'll be with you. This is my suggestion. If you have any other suggestions, we should discuss." Lars said. He was a natural leader it seemed.

They all agreed and discussed more about the plan. Then it was time for drinking. Xiaoyu went to tell all about these to her grandfather.

Nina was chugging down the beer. It was hell of a day. She was observing people in silence when they are talking. Forest, Hwoarang and Kunimitsu were talking together and Lars and Alisa were talking to each other. Then she saw Lars kiss Alisa.

Oh, they are in relationship, she realised. Well, they were a cute couple though. Then she turned her gaze to Jin to meet his gaze. He was observing her also. She looked at him for a few seconds and then escaped her gaze.

Then she started to talk as loud as everyone can hear. "Do you guys believe that the fate exists?"

"Oh no, she had too much drink again. Welcome back Ninastotle..." Hwoarang said.

She rolled her eyes at him.

"I don't see why not." She turned to Jin who said that.

"These all might be coincidence that we all share the same goal and met each other in various ways."

"Do you believe coincidence exists?" Jin asked.

"So you think we all live a written script." She said.

"Well, I don't know about that, no one knows. But you always have a choice in life. Those choices get you somewhere out of your control. I don't think that coincidence controls them."

These philosophical talk between them continued until it was time to leave for three of them.

"Jin you're coming with us since you're drunk. Leave your bike here." Lars said. He didn't seem drunk at all.

"Since you both drunk I will be driving." Alisa said.

Nina led them outside.

"I'll keep an eye on your motorbike." Nina smirked.

"I'll be choosing to trust you." He threw her the keys of it. Nina looked at them in surprise. She looked at him.

"I won't need it for two days." He winked. And got in the jeep. When they got out of her sight she was still looking at the keys and the bike. How can he leave something so precious here like that, let alone giving the keys?

She entered and said good night to everyone then went to her room.

She laid down on her bed and looked at the keys. She imagined riding it.

No, I should leave it back tomorrow morning.
