Wedding Day
The big day has finally arrived for Danny and Maria to pledge their marriage vows in front of God and Family. With Jack bringing his girlfriend Sandy, Maria decided to stay at her place so that a third bedroom could be made available to her. Danny wasn't taking any chances in Jack and Sandy sharing a room.
Maria calls Danny
Maria: Good Morning husband to be….. do you realize last night was the first night in two weeks that we haven't been together. I didn't like it at all…. I tossed and turned and I couldn't get comfortable… How did you sleep
Danny: Not having your naked body of yours next to me made me restless… amazing how you've become my comfort switch….. How did it go with your mother and Ana staying with you

Nikki Doyle hasn't seen her mother Erin and her father Jack together and not bickering in a very long time and when both of them were there together to pick her up she couldn't believe what was happening. Her narrative to her boyfriend Jimmy Hastings is turning out not to be what she lead him to believe.

Erin: Things have changed….. I don't know how to explain it but with Danny and Maria getting together and now getting married it has changed the perspective that many in the family once held… even your grandfather said it was ok if I wanted to be with your dad
Nikki: I don't understand …. How does Uncle Danny have anything to do with this
Jack: Your mother and I never stopped loving each other….. the big reason for the divorce was trust…. I screwed up by cheating on your mother….. The Reagan's never forgave me for that …. How your Uncle Danny came into this picture was the night he and Maria professed their love to each other he asked her to marry him because he couldn't keep making love to her if he didn't commit to her… from that came a conversation about Friends with Benefits
Erin: not to get into details that don't concern you ….. the more this topic was talked about the more I realized how destructive this was especially to me…. With 3:00 PM quickly approaching, Sean , Jack and Sandy act as ushers seating the guests as they arrive . Once everyone is seated… Maria who has been nervously standing in the waiting room, ask Sean if he could go get his grandfather to come to her.

Normaly I don't say what I'm about to say but I will since I've known this family a very long time. In this new age society the institution of marriage has become trivialized…. Love, commitment, respect, understanding and compromise has taken a back seat to easy sex and the grass is greener somewhere else.

Father Quinn: By the power invested in me by God, the Catholic Church and The State of New York I now pronounce you Husband and Wife … you may now kiss your bride
Danny kisses Maria and then once again kneel so they can receive holy communion
Father Quinn : For those of you that would like to receive Communion please come now.
All the Reagans and the others catholics proceed to the steps of the alter as Father Quinn gives The Holy Communion to the faithful.
Father Quinn:With the ceremony now complete, Commission Reagan would like to say a few words.
Frank: To celebrate this wedding... reservations have been made at Delmonico's where dinner will be served….. please join us.
Sid Gormley has made arrangement with trusted NYPD off duty officers to escort the guests to Delmonico's along with having extra security as for no one to cause any disturbance since it's Commissioner Reagan's Family.
Once in the privacy of Delmonico's Danny and Maria receive congratulations from their family and guests

Frank makes an announcement: Now that everyone has had a chance to give their congratulations to the happy bride and groom… can everyone proceed to the Dinner Table where the waiters will take your orders from the menu….. This is one of my favorite places so I hope everyone enjoys their meal.
Carmen sits next to Frank: Commissioner Reagan
Frank: It's Frank…. Your daughter is now my daughter we are family
Carmen: Frank…. I could have never imagined a day like today…. When Maria first started mentioning Danny's name I would tell her to get that out of her head he is never even going to look at you…. Today they are married... amazing my daughter marrying into your family after all these years
Frank: Sometimes perceptions aren't what we may think….. Danny went through a ruff patch….. I'm so thankful Maria was by his side with her friendship at the time….. that love she kept inside of her came out at the perfect time….. Danny needed to be ready to see it and want it…. Now that they are on the same page, I have no doubt that the rest of their lives will be happy…. Isn't that want any parent wants for their kids.
Garrett sitting next to Abigail and her husband: Baker… do you think this is how the Reagan Sunday Dinner are like.
Abigail: No… the only thing that's similar is that the family is together… from what I've been told… each week a member chooses a menu and prepares it and they eat, it's mandatory that family makes every attempt to show up.
Garrett: Have you ever attended
Abigail: No… it's family Sunday Dinner… they go to Mass and then have Dinner it's been a ritual ever since Henry's grandparents came from Ireland.
The Reagan grandchildren sit together, Nikki introduces Jimmy and Jack introduces Sandy.
Sandy: you guys are lucky to have such a close family
Nikki: We are ….. but sometimes we are to close…. You can't do anything without someone knowing ….. especially when your grandfather and great grandfather were police commissioners
Jimmy: Is everyone a cop
Nikki: My dad's a lawyer, My mom's a prosecutor and everyone else is a cop… Uncle Danny and Aunt Maria are detectives…. They saved me from a serial killer…. Uncle Jamie is a sergeant …. He will more than likely become the third police commissioner from our family….Aunt Eddie… she's a beat cop
Sandy: so if you got in trouble…. Somebody would know
Nikki: Our long lost cousin Joe introduced his date and Uncle Danny knew who she was … that's our family….. you gotta love them
When everyone is about to leave and Danny and Maria are about to take Carmen and Ana home, Henry comes and tells them there is a suite at the Waldorf in their name and for them to have an appropriate wedding night. The Reagans take care of their own … Carmen and Ana are driven home by the commissioners special detail officers, Jack, Sean and Sandy return with Frank and Henry.
Danny and Maria enter the suite and both look around in surprise
