Houses

Summary: Holly tells Harry that no matter the house their friendship won't change.

Note: This takes place before the Sorting Hat there will be another one about Harry feeling out of place with Holly being in a different house later.

Harry had always feared that Holly and him would be in two different houses. Holly never seemed bother by it.

"But what if we are in two different houses?" he asked.

"Find a stone, face the man with two heads all while get back before tea," she sang song.

"Holly, not nonsense this time. I'm being seriously."

"I think you got the word wrong," she pointed out. "I think you meant the star."

He blinked wondering why she would mention about a star.

"Houses," he said.

"Are home sweet home," she finished helpfully.

He frowned and crossed his arms turning his attention back to Ron instead.

"What's a matter with you mate?" Ron asked.

"Shh, I'm sulking. It's the only way to get Holly to not speak in riddles," Harry paused. "Can I call them riddles there not really riddles."

Ron was just lost on what Harry meant by riddles.

"Harry, what's a matter?" Holly asked.

"What if we get pick into different houses?" Harry asked.

"Oh," Holly said. "I never thought of that. Would it change much?"

"Will, no. I hope not."

"Then it doesn't matter. Beside it's not like there's a rule saying we can't be friends with different people. Can they?"

"No," he slowly admitted.

"So, with that logic if we are in different houses than we still be friends and if anyone says we can't. I'll bash them."

"Even if I end up in Slytherin?" he asked.

He didn't want to end up in Slytherin.

"Even in Slytherin and even if you end up turning out to be some evil wizard yourself. I'll still be your friend. Beside, you might actually do the job properly."

He didn't want to be evil wizard either.

"You'll get into trouble for doing that," Harry said more focus on the main problem.

Which was Holly getting into trouble if she started the fights.

"I'll still bash them," she vowed.

"So, still friends not matter what?" he asked.

"Friends no matter what," she said proudly.

Ron was suddenly pale.

"You okay Ron?" Harry asked.

"You two are very odd, you know that right?"

"What's wrong with oddness?"

Ron shrugged his shoulders.

"Nothing much. Hey Harry, do you think we have to fight a troll?"

He didn't want to fight a troll because the poor troll would end up with a lot of broken bones after Holly was done with it.
