"Attempted jailbreak is a punishable offence." Bogon's deep voice resonated through the air.

"And the punishment is death!" a high pitched, childish voice screeched out from Bogon.

"Who was that?" Roszen asked.

"Bambietta, his pilot," Krex answered.

"His what now?"

"You'll see soon enough."

"Bogon! Initiate lockdown battle protocol!" Bambietta ordered.

"Understood!" Bogon lifted his foot and slammed it down onto the ground, causing it to lower several stories. The ledge that Roszen and Krex were standing on suddenly fell into a steep angle, and they began to fall.

"Roszen!" Akko cried out as they fell.

Roszen looked at her as she fell and gave her a wink. She then looked at her heavily armed opposition. The thing still had its main cannon aimed at her. Tired of falling, she kicked the wall and launched herself towards Bogon at blinding speed. Just before she was on top of him, she started to spin like a top and ran her knives down the demon's back. Sparks and blood sprayed out as she went, making the thing roar in pain.

As she landed, Bambietta cried out, "You dumbass, why'd you let her do that?!" A demonic looking goblin popped out near Bogon's shoulder and smacked its head with a wrench. "Do you have any idea how hard it's going to be to get those scratches out of the paint!?"

"I'm sorry..."

"Krex, air support!" Roszen called out as she bolted towards Bogon.

Krex aimed for Bambietta, but she ducked back in before the shot landed. "Oh no you don't!" Bambietta made Bogon aim at Krex.

"But the Lord said not to harm the prisoners."

"I don't care!" Panels began to flip open all along his back and tail. "Fire at will!" His cannon shot out at Krex, while missiles shot from his back and tail raced towards Roszen.

Roszen's eyes widened at the sheer amount of missiles aimed at her. She pulled out her fan at full face and launched a large wave of wind, causing many of the missiles to veer off course or explode when they were hit but a few stayed true. She managed to dodge the remaining missiles, except for one. She saw it coming, but she didn't have room to maneuver, so she kicked it. Up it went and exploded like a firework.

Krex flew about, bobbing and weaving through the cannon fire, returning fire whenever he could. Screams reached him as he dodged another volley. Looking back, he saw a couple of the cells where damage, lucky no one appeared hurt. "I need to be careful; we're trying to save them not kill them." He dove downward, flying straight towards Bogon. "I hope that Akko kid is alright; I sensed something great within her."

"Don't let him get any closer, you idiot!" Bambietta ordered.

Bogon swiped at Krex with his bladed arm. The guardian nimbly dodged around the strike, summoned his sword, and drove it deep into his chest.

Bogon slapped Krex out of the air with his cannon arm. "It will take more than that, whelp!" He aimed and charged up his cannon. "Say goon-ah!" Roszen managed to cut a good chunk of his leg, making the shot he charged lurch upwards, hitting a cell. "Why you little-" He sent his metallic tail after her.

"Come on, I know you can do better than that, big guy!" Roszen teased as she dodged and took out most of his leg.

Bambietta screamed out in rage. "THAT'S IT!" Her little goblin head popped out with fire on top of it. "I'm activating the twin havoc system!"

The two cannons on Bogon's back unfolded and began to charge with energy. "Uh-oh, you made her mad..."

"Let's see if you like this, you little shits!" Bambietta let out a mad laugh as the cannons aimed independently at Roszen and Krex. They changed up and let out rounds at rapid pace.

Roszen dodged in a way that appeared like she was dancing; she was being pushed back however. Krex wasn't doing much better; he summoned his shield, blocking most of the shots, but the force of the shots kept him from advancing. Roszen was forced to wait and see if the twin cannons could overheat.

"Hehe, you're moving too much; let's see if you like this!" Bambietta's annoying laughter got Roszen's attention. The panels on Bogon's back and tail opened up again.

"Oh shit." More missiles launched and Roszen was their target. The missiles all swarmed around her, and with the havoc cannon aimed at her, she was pinned.

Bambietta smiled as she saw the small mushroom cloud form. It widened more as she heard grunts of pain, but it turned into a snarl as she saw Krex standing there with his shield up.

Roszen stared in wonder as Krex fell to his knees. His armor was heavily damaged and covered in dirt. "Don't think I'll be able to survive another volley like that, my lady..."

"You can still fight?"

"Of course."

Roszen took a deep breath. "Stay close, he can't get us once we're right on top of him."

"It's getting to him that's the problem." He rolled his shoulders. "Those missiles are our biggest hassle."

She pulled out her fan. "I can get most of them, just keep me covered."

"Silos are ready for another volley," Bogon spoke.

"Then let's light 'em up!" Bambietta began to cackle.

"Let's move now!" Roszen and Krex booked it to the duo.

The two were quickly under fire. Krex blocked hot lead, while Roszen blew away any missiles. The war heads came in small numbers, making it easy to deal with them. But they didn't realize why until it was too late. "Got you now, bitches!" Bambietta called out. Bogon pointed his main cannon to the ground and fired, sending shock waves and fire towards them. Roszen was launched back into the wall while Krex turned into an orb. Bambietta was laughing maniacally. "I can't believe they fell for that!" She popped out her head and pointed at them. "Haha, did you see the look on her face!?"

"Fuck..." Roszen tried to get back up.

"Well look at that, Bogon, she's still kicking!" she pointed out. "Finish her off with a Bang!"

"Understood." Bogon aimed all of his cannons at her. "It was a good fight, whelp." He began to charge his Big Bang.

Roszen managed to get up onto her feet. "I'm spent; I can barely move..." She saw Krex's orb floating out of range of her, but at least out of the blast as well. "If I was more careful, we could have killed them..." The cannons glowed brightly. "I'm sorry, mother..." A tear escaped from her.

"Say goodnight!" Bogon yelled. "Big Bang, Boom!" And the cannon went off.

Just as the cannons fired, Roszen was pushed to the side. Looking at who did it, her eyes widened. Akko pushed her out of the way but got herself caught in the blast; she smiled at Roszen and winked. "AKKO!" Roszen screamed. Akko was hit and embedded into the wall as she screamed in pain.

Bambietta let out a horrid laughter. "What a fucking idiot!" She lost control of herself again. "The Lord gave her his gift and she threw it away on a measly human!" She started laughing again; even Bogon started to chuckle.

"Shut up..." Roszen whispered. Her head was down as her whole body shook.

"What was that, twerp?" Bambietta put a hand over her ear.

"Shut. Up." She locked eyes with her. Tears streamed down her face as demonic energy began to pour out from her; her eyes changed from blue to gold, with vertical slits and red scleras.

"What the...?" was all Bambietta said before everything was engulfed in a red light.
