DJ and Erica walked to his house.
They went inside and sat on a sofa was Laura. She was blonde, had a pierced nose and a tattoo on her wrist.
"Hey DJ,who is your friend?" Laura asked.
"This is Erica, she's moving in with us" DJ informed her.
" Hey nice to meet you. I'm Laura" Laura smiled as she offered Erica her hand.
"Its nice to be in this lovely community. You have all been so good to me especially DJ." She turned to smile at DJ who smiled back.
"I'm gonna head back outside. I'll leave you both to get to know each other" DJ announced.
"Thanks" Erica wrapped her arms around him. Laura could tell he was blushing.
"See you both later" He said.
"Bye DJ" the two girls said.
DJ walked out of the front door leaving Erica and Laura in the living room.
"So how long have you known DJ?" Erica asked sitting down next to Laura holding a bottle of beer.
"A while. We used to live at the sanctuary" Laura said.
"The sanctuary?" Erica asked wanting to know more.
"It was this old abandoned factory ran by a man called Negan, he lives here in a cell" Laura said.
"Why is he in a cell?" Erica was even more curious now.
"Maybe DJ should tell you as it's a long story" Laura said afraid she had said too much.
"Why can't you just tell me?" Erica asked.
"Because it involves DJ" she said "And me and some others".
"I want to know please." Erica begged.
"It may change your opinion of DJ but hopefully not as he isn't the same person he was" Laura said.
"I need to know, please" Erica said.
"Ok, well we were all known as the saviours. We would go to other communities including this one and use violence and threats to take food and supplies" Laura said then sighed.
Erica was shocked and sat silently for a few minutes to take it in. She then said "And how does DJ fit into this?".
"He was one of Negan's lieutenants" Laura said.
"He did Negan's dirty work" Erica asked enraged.
"Yes but that was a long time ago, he's changed, we all have and he cares for you" Laura said.
"I need to lie down" Erica said.
"Your room is the second along the corridor" Laura said as Erica stormed upstairs "shit!!!" Laura said worried she had messed things up for DJ.
