Sorry about the last chapter, I know it was a bit of a letdown. It was in all honesty rushed, and I even forgot to post an entire paragraph which showed Zoë's POV and explained why she pitied him a little bit. That's not the case with this one, Im now forgoing the schedule in an effort to post better quality writing instead of just getting it out there. There's rly no action in this chapter, tho i promise there will be some in the next chapter, but this is setting up some important stuff. and for the first time Percy doesn't pass out. anyways without Further Ado here is your chapter

wait sry there is some more ado left, i have to say this. I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians, or any other references or ideas that you might recognize (I'm rly just to lazy to put all those influences in here)

Now here's the story.

Zoe P.O.V.

This boy was pathetic, and arrogant, and petty, and so many other things just like all other males. But then why did she feel this need to help him and why did she feel bad for him when she had to take his shirt off to heal him, all those scars on his body he deserved.. Right? Banishing those annoying thoughts from her head, she looked at this boy and laughed. "Have you ever even seen a tent" she said while laughing profusely.

End chapter 3

Percy P.O.V.

After getting thoroughly humiliated by my lack of knowledge on tents I was actually starting to have a good time. After she laughed at me the woman with the tiara introduced herself as Zoe (she refused to tell me her last name). For some reason, when I was near her I felt the same calm as when I was near the lake back at Gabriel's place, or any other body of water. As it turns out she (for the first time in a long time) doesn't want to hurt me. When we were done putting my tent up, Zoe asked me something that confused me greatly. She asked if I had a mountable summon, and me being the highly intelligent person I was, I said "huh". She then explained to me that a summon is an animal representation of a person's soul. "And how exactly does one find out what their summon is?" I asked. "Oh that's easy" she said, "you just get down in a position like this and look within yourself, near your stomach area" she explained as she got down into a lotus position and started meditating. I copied her and when I started focusing on my stomach, I started feeling something deep in my stomach, and once I got close to it I felt it out and pushed it a little bit. Whoops. Turns out that was a fart, and after I let one rip so loud that birds started flying away from me. After that humiliating incident I decided I didn't need to see what it was beforehand and just asked the question that was burning on my mind. How do you get your summon out into the open instead of just stuck in your soul. "That's rather simple once you know how to do it properly, if you dont you can only bring it out when in either extreme, life threatening, danger or during just as extreme mental strain or emotional trauma" stated Zoe, almost like she was reading from a powerpoint she's read from a thousand times. As i was about to ask the question in my head, almost like she could sense the giddiness in my head to summon whatever my summon was. She explained further " You have to simply call out to your summon in your mind, preferably by name once you know it, and extend your right arm out, almost as if your pushing it out." and so me being the idiot i was, i didn't wait for her to explain any further and just did it. Possibly one of the biggest mistakes of my life thus far. It hurt like a Bitch. My entire arm was on fire, almost like my blood turned to acid and I dipped my arm into lava, but surprisingly I didn't pass out this time. "Yeah i was going to mention that part if you had listened" said Zoe scoldingly " it happens every time someone summons their summon for the first time, because you are literally separating a small part of your soul from your body, eventually you become used to the action and it doesn't hurt anymore but for the first time or two it puts you out of commission for a few minutes."

Then something miraculous happened, what appeared to be a golden dust came out of my palm and joined itself into something I never thought I'd see again, my slightly too friendly raven black winged horse. "Sup boss" I heard in my head, I would have groaned from hearing this had I not been so elated at being able to summon my summon, who I now know is blackjack, at will (even if it does hurt way too much to be worth it), and then something else happened, my left arm shot out almost as if it had a mind of its own, and I involuntary flexed my left arm. Again the golden dust flew out, but into two streams this time instead of one. One of the streams went and became the trident I had supposedly used to break the bear trap that I had been tapped in. with the blue-ish metal and the tips now glowing a faint blue, this formed on my back right over my tattoo. And the other stream went and formed a strikingly golden sword on my hip, with an electric blue hue and miniature lightning bolts striking and streaking around the blade. When I got shocked by them I received a small boost in energy. Somehow i knew the names of the weapons, For the sword férnontas kataigídes which confused me even more since I instinctively knew meant bringer of the storms and the tridents name was ekdíkisi ton palirroión which i knew meant revenge of the tides. Zoe looked mildly impressed, but not too surprised about the weapons, I wonder if she somehow saw the trident last time. "Interesting" she said, "usually you have either an animal summon OR a weapon summon, and while its not unheard of to have both, its about as common as being left handed" she sounded like she was holding out on something but i decided to let it go, i was too in awe of the fact that i had two glowing weapons on my back. Breaking me out of my stupor, Zoe said " we need to get moving if we want to catch up to the huntresses before lunch". Then she summoned one of the most beautiful animals I had ever seen. It was a Reindeer, with antlers so golden that they almost glowed in the low light of the forest floor, The fur was a light brown, but it had a golden metallic sheen to it, hooves the same color gold as its horns, but the most striking feature of this magnificent beast was the Red nose that would pulse with light every now and then, almost lulling me to sleep. "Rudolf" Zoe said affectionately, "wait as in THE Rudolf" I said with zero attempt to hide my childish admiration. "Yes, where do you think they got the idea from? " said Zoe with an amused chuckle. Zoe got on the amazing deer and it nuzzled her hand affectionately. Then suddenly, "last one there does dishes" she said mirthfully. And with that she was off, leaving a trail of what looked to be pixie dust being left in her wake. "Those wings of yours aren't just for show right?" I asked with a smirk on my face. "Hop on and see for yourself boss" said Black Jack, understanding that he just had his speed challenged. So I hopped on and we were off like a lightning flash through the sky.

Needless to say, I lost. That doesn't mean that I didn't try my hardest, in fact we were winning until the very end. Then Zoe played a dirty trick, she threw a sugar cube slightly behind Blackjack, getting him to slow down just enough for her to speed ahead and touchdown first. You wouldn't think that sandwiches would make a lot of dishes, right. WRONG! There were slices of cheese melted to the plates, and wet bread attached to the bottom along the edges of the plates. It's almost as if someone mentioned exactly who was doing the dishes when i went to the bathroom. Cough*Zoe*Cough. But now we fast forward to the current time, the hunters and I have just climbed a ridiculously tall hill, with this one pine tree that seems to stick out of the rest, it's beautiful and seems oddly familiar. Then I look up, and I'm rendered speechless. Off in the distance I see this beautiful castle, with towers sprouting off, along with columns of white marble lining a large walkway up from a dirt road off in the distance. There are a multitude of aqueducts and even a few open amphitheaters on the outsides and edges of the castle area and the walls. (imagine Hogwarts but with Greco-Roman aspects). Off the south east of the castle was a sleepy little village with English style cottages with the grass roofs, mixed with Greek style temples and even a roman bathhouse, all mixed together in an impressively cohesive and organized fashion. The castle itself was surrounded with forests, and creek beds. All along these amazing rolling hills of grass and green. Backed entirely by a beautiful scarlet and orange sunset. "Welcome" says Artemis coming from seemingly nowhere, "To Olympia school for the Gifted and Talented" she states with a proud look on her face.

Soo, what did you think, anything i need to do better on, any thing i did good on, Please let me know. Ill respond to all the comments here
