It was a new day in Arendelle, Kristoff and Anna were walking together towards a secluded clearing that Kristoff knew, they planned to have a picnic in the forest.

It was a pleasant walk, they enjoyed each other's company very well. When they arrived they spread the picnic blanket on the floor and placed the food basket on it. Anna had taken care of the food, she brought sandwiches of course, good wine to drink, and don't forget the chocolate, Anna loves chocolate.

"Here, take it," she said, giving him a sandwich.

"Thank you. Is it a cheese and ham sandwich?" Keistoff asked.

"Yes, your favorite." Anna smiled at him.

"What did I do to deserve you." he said taking a bite. "It's delicious!"

"Thank Gerda, she made the sandwiches." Anna replied, also tasting the sandwich.

The two spent a good time together eating and talking about everything, Anna is the one who talks the most, of the two, but Kristoff didn't care he loves to hear her voice, he actually loves everything about her, her personality, her messy way , her scent that reminds him of summer, her mouth that tastes like chocolate, in short, just the fact that Anna is herself makes Kristoff very happy. He wouldn't change anything about her.

Haaken needed to get to the queen to know what he wants, and for that he first needed to earn her trust. He was thinking about it when he overhears Kristoff and the princess talking about going on a picnic.

"And if I saved the princess, I could earn the trust of everyone in the kingdom." he thought. "I already know what I need, a plan to put the princess in danger, then save her and be a hero, but how would I do that ..."

He thought about it while he was watching the city, since now he "is" an Arendelle soldier.

His thoughts were cut off when he overhears four men talking in an alley.

"So the plan is this: me and Floki go into the jewelry store, we are going to threaten the seller to give us the jewelry and all the money, while Galder and Skipp watch to see if any guards are coming." One of the men said, "Any questions?"

Nobody answered.

They were planning to steal the town's jewelry store, Haaken would not allow it.

"Great, now let's go."

"Where do you think you are going," Haaken said, drawing his sword and pointing at them.

The four were startled and took the daggers out of their pockets to protect themselves.

"You guys don't stand a chance." Haaken said

"We don't want any problems," one said.

"Me neither, and I advise you to keep your weapons if you don't want to spend the rest of your days in the dungeons, or worse." the soldier said.

The four obeyed hesitantly.

"What do you want?" Asked another.

Haaken didn't think they could ask that. What would he want from four thieves? He considered it a little. "What could they give me?... I know what!" he thought.

"I need you to do a job for me."

"A Job? What kind of job does a soldier want thieves like us to do?"

"Look, friend, I need to be a hero and to do that I was thinking about saving Arendelle's princess." Haaken replied.

"The princess?" They weren't sure where Haaken was going with this conversation.

"Yes, the princess, let's do a show, you pretend that you want to kidnap the princess, so I come and save her by defeating you." the soldier said.

"And what do we get out of it?" The same thief asked.

"Let's say you are going to the dungeon now for trying to rob a jewelry store." replied Haaken.

"But if we try to kidnap the princess we will be in more trouble." one of them said.

"That's true, but since I'm going to be the hero, no one will suspect that I planned your escape, or I can just let you escape before you get caught. So what do you say, are you going to accept it?"

The four looked at each other, that was it or they would be thrown into the dungeons immediately.

"Okay, we accept. What's the plan?"

"You made the right choice. The plan is, the princess and her boyfriend went to have a picnic in the forest this morning. I want you to corner them, pretend you want the princess to use her as a hostage to get money. Then I come and save her, simple as that. "

"What will we do with her boyfriend if he tries to stop us?"

"Do what you want, but don't kill him." Haaken replied "Are we clear?"

The four nodded in agreement with the plan.

"Well, now let's get to the action." Said Haaken with a malicious smile.

❄️

They don't know how long they were lying there on the blanket they brought for the picnic, but it was getting late.

"Anna is getting late the sun is already setting, I think we better go back to the castle, before Elsa is worried about you." Kristoff said.

"Okay," she replied as she stood up to pack up to leave. "It was a perfect day."

"It sure was, maybe another day we can come back here for another picnic." he said.

But before Anna could answer, they heard a noise from the trees.

"Is anyone there?" Kristoff asked loudly so they could hear.

Nobody answered

"Maybe it was an animal." He said.

Suddenly three badly dressed and dirty men appeared, with small swords in their hands.

"We may be wearing these old clothes but we are not animals." a chubby man said.

Kristoff and Anna were startled by the sudden way the three men appeared. Anna moved a little closer to Kristoff, taking his side.

"Now princess, you don't have to be scared, we're just working, that's what men like us do."

"What do you want?" Kristoff asked.

"We just want money and for that the girl needs to come with us." the same chubby thug replied.

"Only over my dead body." Kristoff said firmly, placing himself protectively in front of Anna.

"So be it. Floki." the bandit called.

Before the two could know what was going on, a big man came up from behind and hit Kristoff on the back of the head with a piece of wood. He fell unconscious.

"KRISTOFF!" Anna cried, kneeling beside her boyfriend.

"Get her." the fattest one who was the boss commanded.

Floki and another thug grab Anna by the arms, each on either side of her. She tried to fight to free herself, but they were bigger and stronger than she was.

"NO. Let me go! I order!" She said still struggling to free herself.

"Hahaha, as if you have any power to command here." said the same fat thug from earlier approaching and grabbing Anna's chin so he could see her more closely.

"You are a cute little princess." the other bandits laughed. "A lot of people would pay well for a princess." The chef said.

"Don't touch me!" She shouted.

"Wow! And she is angry too." They laughed and he released her face.

She obviously didn't like it.

"The girl told you to let her go." A voice came from behind.

They turned to see who spoke.

"Haaken!" Anna said, the relief was clear in her voice.

"And who are you? Are you going to stop us? We are four and you are only one." the thug said.

"Answering your question, yes, I will stop you from taking Arendelle's princess hostage. I may be just one, but I can definitely defeat you." Haaken replied.

"If that's the case. Floki, Galder show this weakling what we're capable of."

Floki and Galder were the biggest in the group, Floki released Anna and left her in Skipp's hands, he held her from behind, she tried again to break free but it was useless, Skipp was stronger.

Galder and Floki approached with the small swords in the hands that Haaken had given them. They fought as they had practiced, attacks and counterattacks. Anna watched in anguish, knowing that her destiny was in Haaken's hands.

As planned, Haaken pretended to be winning the fight, with one stroke he took the sword from one of the bandits and as a last stroke took the sword from the other, he was still in a fighting position.

"Now release the princess, and perhaps I will have mercy on you," he said.

The bandits pretended to be afraid.

"Come on guys," their chef shouted, the thug holding Anna released her and ran with the others.

"And never come back here again!" Haaken shouted at them. "Are you okay?" He asked Anna.

"What was that? You saved me! ... Oh my God, Kristoff!" She ran to his side. "Kristoff, wake up," she said, giving her boyfriend a light pat.

"Anna?" Kristoff said waking up, he was still a little groggy.

"Yes, it's me. Are you okay? Can you get up?"

"What there was?" he asked a little weak

"We were attacked, but Haaken saved us," she replied. Kristoff remembered the attack and woke up.

"Anna! Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

"I'm fine thanks to Haaken," she said. The two looked at Haaken who was watching the couple nearby.

"Thank you," said Kristoff.

"I just did my job," replied the soldier. "I think we'd better go to the castle, you may need a doctor with that wound over there," He pointed at Kristoff's head.

"I'm fine, I have a hard skull." replied the blonde getting up.

They headed for the castle, where Haaken would be recognized as a hero across the kingdom.

"Things are going according to plan" he thought.
