Here's a new chapter! Hopefully I stay consistent even though April break is basically over and school starts tomorrow. A little warning, this does have some sexually explicit scenes but no lemons. You should expect that with the rating, anyway. Enjoy!

It was a cold Thursday morning. The ground was wet from the storm the night before. Everyone was dressed in hoodies and dark, baggy clothes, except for Alicia of course.
Trixie, Spud, Alicia, and Jake were walking to school. Trixie was in the middle of a story. She said something to Alicia but she didn't hear. She seemed to be distracted.
"Right, Cia?" Trixie repeated. "Earth to Alicia!" She elbowed her side.
"Oh, uh, 37!" she said automatically.
"Girl, this isn't a math class. It's a conversation," Trixie teased.
Jake said, "Come on, maybe she was distracted."
"Distracted?" Trixie asked. "Ain't nothing here distracting."
Brad walked past the group, shoving Jake out the way. "Oops," he said sarcastically.
Alicia practically drooled as the blonde walked away. The other three stopped walking. Trixie shook her head smiling, "Uh-uh! No way you like Brad, Cia."
Alicia broke out of her trance. "Me? Like B-Brad? No way!" She whispered to Trixie, "Is that his name?"
Trixie laughed out loud. "You should've seen the way you looked at him and you don't even know his name!"
Jake winced, "Brad? Out of all guys at this school?"
"I never said I liked him!" Alicia huffed. "But if I did, . . . does he have a girlfriend?"
"You're down bad," Spud commented.
"Okay? So what if I think he's cute? So what if I stare at his ass once in awhile?" she mumbled the last part.
"Mhmm," Spud nodded. "I was correct. Down horrendous."
Jake added, "Down to the pits of hell."
Trixie told them, "Leave the poor girl alone!" She turned to Alicia. "Ci Ci, it seems that ever since we found out you're a witch, you get more and more interesting! Oh, and can I call you Ci Ci?"
"Since when is Trix so buddy-buddy with Cia?" Jake asked Spud.
"Beats me," Spud replied. "But hey, isn't that what you wanted?"
"I'm not complaining. But why Brad out of all people for real?"
"No homo, but he's attractive," Spud said. "So I see why. But once she sees his personality she'll lose interest." Jake was still scowling. Spud slapped his friend's back. "Don't let this rivalry between you and Brad get in the way of Cia's mini romance thing."
Jake sighed. "Yeah, yeah. I just can't stand that guy. And if they date, the thought of him having to hang around us will end me."
Alicia continued to fill Trixie in, "He sits next to me in algebra but probably doesn't know I exist."
"Let's make him know you exist," Trixie said.
"How? I'm terrible at speaking to people."
"True. Plan: we get you to ask out Brad today. Then makeover at my place-"
"That's impossible!" Alicia shrieked.
Trixie looked down at her attire: grey sweatpants and a navy blue sweater. "Okay, I know I'm not the most fashionable, but I got a makeover once by a bunch of cheerleaders so I think I know what I'm doin'."
"No," Alicia corrected, "I mean it's impossible for me to ask Brad out. Today, too?" Her hands slid down her face.
"It's 2021, girls ask out guys all the time. Don't let it get you down. Besides, we'll help you." Trixie positioned Alicia in front of her.
Alicia responded, "Really?" cluelessly.
Trixie didn't answer. She gestured for the boys to help her. "3, 2, 1!" she yelled.
They pushed her into Brad. The girl shrieked as she stumbled into his arms. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" She looked up at a smiling Brad, who was still holding her. Her hands pressed against his muscles. If blushing could be visible with her skin tone, she would have been scarlet red.
He joked, "Can't help but fall for me, right?"
Meanwhile, Trixie pulled the boys behind a nearby bush. Before they could ask questions she shushed them.
Alicia pulled away. "I must've tripped."
"It's cool, Alicia."
"You know my name?!" she asked in shock.
"'Course, you're that witchy new girl."
"W-Witchy?!"
"Yeah. Since you're from Salem."
"Ohh, I'm from Boston, actually." She mentally sighed. "I've lived in Salem for a few years, though."
"Yeah, yeah, that. Do you want to hang out at my place later or?"
Alicia went weak at the knees. "Y-Your place? I don't know what to say, shouldn't we hang out first or is that what happens in New Y-"
"Going to my place is hanging out," Brad explained, flashing her a smile that could make any girl lose her common sense.
"Yeah, okay." She practically melted.
"5 sounds good?" he asked.
"5 sounds great."
He handed her his phone. "Put in your number. I'll text you my address."
"Oh, right!" She quickly typed in her digits.
He took his phone back. "Thank you, cutie. See you 'round."
She gulped. "See you."
As soon as he was out of sight Trixie hopped out the bush. "That went way better than I expected, Ci Ci! How you feel?"
Alicia froze, deciding on wether to ask her new friends why they were hiding behind the bushes. She decided not to bother. She answered, squealing, "I feel like it's a dream and I never want to wake up!"
"More like a nightmare," Jake mumbled.
Alicia flopped on Trixie's bed after school. "His muscles felt like rocks and his voice was so deep, ugh!" She rolled around.
Trixie rummaged through the clothes her mom bought her. "And you goin' ova her house tonight! Ooh, you gotta wear somethin' sexy. Not that little girl shit you be wearin'."
Alicia looked down at her clothes. A sky blue T-shirt dress and white knee highs. "But what's wrong with what I wear?"
Trixie looked back. "Nothing, girl. It's cute. Just 12-year-old type cute. And I doubt he's into that. I'm hoping he's not into that."
Spud leaned against the wall, playing with his yoyo. "I think it's fine."
"Thank you, Spud." Alicia smiled.
"If Spudinski thinks it's good, take it off," she teased.
"I feel personally attacked," he announced.
Trixie pulled out a short lilac skirt and black crop top. "This is perfect for you! It's mature and still has the pastels you like."
Alicia's eyes widened. "Wow, I actually love it."
"Of course you do! Jakey, aren't I good?"
He was sitting on the floor. "You're good, but Brad isn't. Alicia are you sure you want to see him tonight? At his house, too?"
"Why not? It'll be fun," she said, bouncing on the bed.
"Yeah, but aren't you scared he'll try something?"
She stopped bouncing and shrugged. "If he tries anything I'll put a curse on him. Simple."
"Jakey has a point," Trixie agreed. "You'll need protection."
The boys were taken aback and said in unison, "What?!"
She ignored them, "Are you a virgin?"
Alicia tensed up.
Trixie set the clothes on her bed. "It's okay, there's no snitches here."
Alicia looked down at her feet. "Well, not exactly . . ."
Everyone's eyes sparkled. "Seriously?" Trixie cooed.
"I wasn't expecting that," Jake said.
"How does it feel?" Spud questioned. Everyone gave him a weird look. "Not to be weird, just wondering."
"It was an ex. We were together for a year and he sucked. Skipped foreplay and everything. I didn't even let him finish."
"Did you curse him?" Trixie asked.
"No, but I did make sure I put a spell to infest his house with frogs. Plus I dumped him for other reasons." She looked at Spud. "It feels overrated."
"Damn, thought you were innocent," Jake teased.
"From your reactions I can tell you're all still virgins," she shot back.
"I have an excuse!" Jake chirped. "My girlfriend is in Hong Kong."
"Aww, a bi continental relationship!" Alicia gushed.
"Bi- what?" Jake asked.
"Nevermind," she said.
"So you gonna get down tonight or what?" Trixie winked.
"I don't want a bad rep at our school so I'll pass. I just want a fun night."
They all nodded understandingly.
Alicia looked away. "Okay maybe something will happen." She smiled. "Thanks for not judging me, by the way. Not even my mom knows about this."
Trixie put her arm on her shoulder. "Of course we won't judge you." She looked back. "Spud and Jake are the best friends you could get in this lifetime."
Jake's face softened, so did Spud. They both began to speak at once. "Trix, I didn't know you could be so sedimental," Jake said.
Spud smiled sweetly, "That's the nicest thing you've said to me-"
"Okay, okay. Enough with that," she shooed them out. "Alicia needs to change. Stay right here." She shut the door in their faces. Alicia held in a laugh once the other girl turned around. "What?" Trixie asked.
"Nothing, nothing."
Alicia stood in front of the gate with a shaky hand, ready to buzz herself in. This guy's house was huge! No, not house. Mansion. Alicia couldn't even go up to a doorbell like a normal home, she had to stand in front of a gate packed with security cameras. She didn't understand why she couldn't whip up a spell to make herself rich.
Alicia lowered her hand and thought to herself how she couldn't. Everything was too intimidating. Her anxiety was off the charts. Just as she was about to make her way out, the gate opened on it's own. It didn't even make a creaking sound or a noise as it elegantly opened to a smiling Brad. He wore a T-shirt the clung to his body and some basketball shorts as if it wasn't cold outside.
"I see you got my text," was the first thing he said.
"Yeah," Alicia shyly stroked a braid behind her ear, "I did."
He gestured for her to come closer. Brad wrapped his arm around her and began to walk to his place. "So, what do you think? I bet you don't see many places like this?"
Weird thing to say. "Uh, not like this is one way to put it."
Alicia looked back at the closing gate. Her heart was pounding. It was silent until they got up to the opened door. She was ready to take off her shoes until Brad informed, "You don't have to do that. The maids will clean up whatever you track in."
"Oh, okay." She looked at him up and down. Alicia felt her cheeks grow warm as she noticed his shorts were grey and doing a very good job at being grey. He said something she didn't hear. "Sorry, what was that?
"What do you want to do?" he repeated.
"Me? Well-"
"Let's watch a movie! I have a theater room."
"Oh, that's cool."
They entered a room that resembled a mini cinema. It was dark and the screen was of course huge. There were dim red lights emerging from underneath the seats which Alicia had to admit was a nice touch. The whole room was tasteful. Though, watching a movie isn't a really good first date to get to know one another in her opinion.
She sat in a chair and basically sunk in. It was soft and firm at the same time. Brad sat next to her and asked, "Which movie you wanna see?"
Alicia thought for a moment. "Ooh, do you have-"
"50 Shades of Grey sounds good." He got up to start the movie.
Alicia winced at the thought of watching a cringy BDSM movie that was based off fanfiction. Not her taste at all and figured it was probably going to be painful to watch. She looked up at Brad who had his back turned to her. She almost summed up the courage to speak up but her doubts got in the way. Maybe he's nervous, she thought. That's why he keeps interrupting.
Alicia looked at him one more time. At least his ass looks nice in those shorts, was her final thought before he came back.
Somewhere into the movie they were already at a sex scene. Alicia remembered how awkward it was to have sex scenes in movies while watching with her parents. At least Brad wasn't a parent. He was a boy. A very attractive one at that.
Her thoughts got interrupted as a moan echoed throughout the room. She leaned over to Brad, "Don't you think your parents will hear?"
"Eh, don't worry. They're never home. Plus, the servants don't care."
Alicia leaned back into her seat. Nothing on the screen interested her. What was keeping her here again? She glanced at Brad. The lighting from the screen reflected off him. She could see every shade that defined his muscles. Right, that's what's keeping me here.
She was about to lie and say she had to use the restroom but instead she decided to be bold. Every minute wasted on this school night was getting her more and more pissed. He wasn't listening. "Hey, Brad."
"Hm?" he asked, still staring at the screen.
"Pause the movie."
"What?"
She rolled her eyes. "Pause. The. Movie."
He did the second her tone changed.
She stood in front of him. "I didn't get dressed and come all the way here to watch a movie I don't even like. You're not even listening- Hello?"
Brad was trying to look behind her. "You're kinda in the way."
"Are you serious? It's paused." He still wasn't even looking at her. Alicia bent over and grabbed his face to look right at her. "Look. At. Me," she demanded. He obeyed. "I'm more interesting than that movie."
Brad smirked. "Oh, really?"
Alicia slowly lowered herself onto his lap. "Yeah, really."
"Then prove-" Alicia was finally the one to cut himoff as she slammed her lips into his. His were full and soft. He was so attractive once he just shut up.
Her hips grew closer to his torso when she moved back and forth, feeling more and more, her skirt rolling further up. The only thing she wanted to hear was his grunts while she moved.
His hand made it's way to the back of her head as the kiss deepened, neither of them desiring to stop for air. His other hand made it from the small of her back to the beginning of her ass. He gave it a firm squeeze. Alicia could feel him smiling as they kissed. She finally released and looked deeply into his eyes and he was finally looking right back at her.
Brad began to chuckle. She asked, "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, it's just I'm lucky to find one like you."
Alicia blushed. He actually said something sedimental? "What do you mean?" she giggled girlishly.
"Girls like you are hot, but they're usually aggressive." Alicia froze. He continued, "Just glad I found one like you."
"What do you mean?" she repeated in a different tone.
"Y'know, girls like you and Trixie. Your kind. Trixie's so loud and ugh," he scoffed. "You're so quiet but feisty when you need to be." He went in for another round of kissing. Alicia pulled back.
"So what you're saying is girls who look like me aren't usually like me? Girls my color?"
Brad shook his head. "Nah, why you gotta make this a race thing?"
"Last time I checked you did."
He wrapped his arms around her. "Let's just forget it and I'll make it up to you in my room." He smirked.
Alicia broke free of his grasp and stood. "First you interrupt me all evening, then make me sit through this dumb movie just for you to talk down about people like me?"
Brad huffed. "See, now you're acting like Trixie."
"Oh yeah thanks for reminding me: not only did you talk badly about me, you talked badly about my friend! You don't even know her."
"Shit, everyone knows her from her mouth."
Alicia raised her voice, "She is the kindest person I know here! You could learn a thing or two from her."
"She's the kindest person you know here? That just proves you know no one."
Alicia stomped to her seat and grabbed her purse. "I am leaving."
"Now?" he asked. "You're seriously leaving me with this?" He gestured to his shorts.
"Go wank it off." She walked to the door.
"God, you're such a tease."
"You're lucky you got this much of me," she said as she left.
Alicia stood outside the gate, tearing up. She acted tough, but some things that were said did hurt. Trixie didn't deserve that.
She took her phone from her purse and scrolled through her contacts. She needed a ride. She was gonna call Jake but she figured he was probably busy since he's the American Dragon. She scrolled to Trixie and decided not to call her since she told her she was going out with her grandmother before she left. Her mom was an option, but she was on a trip and hated having to teleport for Alicia. It took a lot of energy to cast a complicated spell like that. The last thing Alicia wanted to feel was a burden.
All she had left was Spud. She didn't really know that much about the boy so she figured calling couldn't hurt. Hopefully he could give her a ride or at least walk her home. It was too dark to be walking home alone as a woman.
He answered on the other line, "Hello?"
"Hi, Spud."
"Hey, Cia."
"Can you pick me up?" she choked.
"Are you okay?"
She pleaded, "Please?"
Spud paused. "Sure, I'll use my dad's car. You're still at Brad's?"
"Yeah."
"I'll be there soon."
Not too long after, a truck pulled up. Spud beeped softly and waved. Alicia tried to smile but it was obvious it was fake.
She sat in the passenger's seat when Spud asked her, "What happened?"
Alicia exhaled. "It was all trash. Brad's a jerk."
"Jake could've told you that," Spud said as he started to drive away.
"Hm?
"The two hate each other. One point they were competing for Rose."
"Who?"
"Jake's girlfriend."
"Ohh, the one in Hong Kong."
Spud nodded. "But I didn't have much an opinion on him."
"Turn left," Alicia told him. "Yeah, he's in his own world."
"What'd he do?"
Alicia looked out the window. "He wouldn't let me speak for the majority. Kept interrupting. Then when things were getting good he said some ignorant stuff." She sighed.
Spud shook his head. "Should've slapped him."
She agreed, "I should've slapped him for real."
They shared a laugh. It didn't take long for them to reach her home as she gave him quick directions. When they pulled up, Spud took a good look at her home. A creme colored home with maroon outlines on the door and windows.
He complimented, "Nice place."
"Thanks." Alicia tried opening the door. It wouldn't budge.
"Sorry, it gets stuck sometimes." Spud hopped out the car and jogged to the other side, then opened the door for her.
"Thanks again," Alicia said.
Spud shut the door and looked at her house again. "So this is a witches house," he stated.
"Yeah, I guess so."
Spud noticed she was still looking sad, so he decided to make some small talk and attempt to make her laugh. "I was expecting dark and dreary."
Alicia raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?"
"Yeah. Maybe some chipped paint and some crows." He flapped his arms like a bird. Alicia couldn't help but chuckled. Spud chuckled with her. "Or tinted windows at least."
"Why would an a witch pretending to fit in have a house that screams 'witch'."
"I don't know. Maybe reverse reverse psychology."
"You are too much," she smiled. A genuine smile.
That made Spud feel like his mission was complete. He couldn't just leave a friend sad for the rest of the evening. He began to make his way back to the car when Alicia suggested, "You wanna see what the inside of a witches place looks like?"
Spud lit up. "I definitely got to! You got potions or what?"
"Some," Alicia opened her door, "my mom has most of them with her."
He stepped in. "Is she here?"
"No," she said while taking off her shoes. Spud did the same. "She's always on business trips."
"Kinda like Trixie's mom. Well, not business trips but she's a flight attendant."
"Really?"
"Yeah. She never told you?"
Alicia shrugged. "You guys only known me for what? Four days?"
Spud nodded in agreement. Alicia gave him a tour of her home. Alicia had a lot of crystals and paper for scripting around the house. The furniture was dark and simple. Everything was very clean and smelt nice. Spud wondered if that was because of a spell.
"Finally, my room." She opened the door to her room. It was extremely different from the rest of the home. Lilac walls and all her furniture was white and pastels. After she turned on the lights, the color reflected; it was blinding. Not an ounce of black anywhere.
Spud shielded his eyes. "Not what I was expecting from a witch's room."
"I love colors, sorry," she giggled and sat on her bed. "I just figured there's so many, y'know? How could you just pick one?"
He sat next to her. "You have a point."
"Of course I do. What about you?"
Spud looked her up and down. "What about me?"
"No, I mean what's interesting about you. I know you like to skate, I know you like beanies." She pulled his down over his eyes playfully.
Spud laughed, "Hey!"
She continued, "Aaand I know you're a virgin." Spud gave her the side eye. She couldn't help but laugh. "Other than that, I don't know much about you. So like I said: what about you?"
He scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Damn, no one really asks me these things. Never really had to think about it."
"You're right, too deep. I don't know you enough to know one of your secrets." Her smile faded as she thought of what Brad said. "I don't know anybody."
Spud put his hand on her face to turn her head to him. "You know me. You know Jake and Trixie, too. Doesn't matter of we've been friends with you for days or years. We're here for you."
Alicia didn't respond. Her eyes stayed looking downward.
"I know you're thinking about Brad."
She finally looked up at him.
"He's a jerk. Whatever specifics he said, you don't gotta tell me. But whatever it is, I know it's wrong."
Alicia smiled a bit and to Spud's shock, gave him a tight hug. "Thank you, Spud," she whispered.
He hugged her back. "It's no problem."
They released and stared at each other for a few seconds. After, it was like they were on the same wavelength, like their thoughts were connected because in a split second they created the same action and kissed one another.
Alicia's hands wandered up to his hair and slid his beanie off to run her fingers through his spiky hair. Spud pulled her closer. She could feel everything, all of his muscles that had been hiding under his baggy clothing.
Not wanting to let go, Alicia swiped her index finger upwards to use her magic to turn off the lights. The two slowly fell to the bed in the dark bedroom.
Sorry this took a bit longer than the others. Just a few days, but feels like it took forever. I started this a day or two before spring break ended (as you can see from the author's note in the beginning) then ended three days after. This chapter is longer; I hope you like longer chapters and these more mature themes.
