Her mind was on fire. Every nerve ending in her body was exploding. It was all too much and not enough at the same time. Elliot Stabler's lips were on hers and his hands were on her body, pulling her impossibly close. She could feel every line of his amazing frame.

Then he parted her lips deepening their kiss, and she felt his tongue slide in her mouth. She went up in flames and he was the gasoline. Instinctively her hands found their way up his chest and slid their way around his neck. She felt sparks behind her eyes and the whole world stopped.

He broke their kiss, almost unwillingly, but in need of oxygen. He placed his forehead to hers, eyes closed, gasping for air to fill his lungs. She didn't realize how much she also needed oxygen. The second his lips left her, she was missing him. He was inches from her and still, she missed him. She felt the ache in her chest begin to throb, until he opened his eyes and looked at her. They were almost black with desire. He felt her shiver.

Breaking their contact, he picked up his jacket that he dropped, not wanting anything in his hands but her the first time they kissed and slid it over her bare shoulders. He wrapped his arms around her pulling her back into him. Her arms went around his waist, and their eyes met again. He could feel her breathing pick up, her chest pressed against his.

His eyes moved down to her parted lips, and this time when he kissed her it was slow and sensual. His lips moved over hers with unhurried purpose, taking her bottom lip with his teeth. She moaned in his mouth and then again when his tongue smoothed over where he had softly bitten her.

Hearing her moan again, this time not from the wine, but from his mouth on hers made his actions quicken. He moved his mouth over to her jaw and he kissed and sucked his way under her ear. Just when he didn't think it could get better, she moaned his name in his ear when he took her earlobe in his mouth. It sent a shot of electricity straight down into his already half hard cock.

He needed to stop this. Not because he wanted to, but because if this kept going, they would probably be arrested for indecent exposer on the street. He moved his hands back to cup her face as his mouth moved back to hers. He gave her one more slow kiss.

She felt like she was going to faint with the want of it all. His last kiss was just as filled with passion and desire but mixed with deeper feelings. It was a slow burn and it was making her knees weak.

When he pulled back, they both took a deep breath again, and smiled at each other. He brushed her hair out of her face and let his hand slip into her chestnut locks, something he has always wanted to do, and his other hand lingered on her cheek. She turned her head and kissed his palm before he slid his hands down her shoulders and placed them on her lower back, dangerously close to her ass.

Trying to clear his mind of all the things he wanted to do in that moment, he huffed out a laugh and said, "You want to go back in?"

"Um…" she softly laughed, "Not really. But…"

She felt him tighten his grip on her, worry in his eyes.

"I should really get home. Relieve Lucy." She said, reassuring him by pulling him into her a little more, feeling his lower back muscles flex under her hands.

He growled deep in the back of his throat at the sudden pressure she applied with her own body as she pulled him closer. Her unexpected openness to do something so intimate, like pulling a man to her hips, pulling him into her sent his mind spinning. He tried his best to stop his impulse to pull her into an alley, hike her dress up and take her against a brick wall.

"Of course…" he said, "Of course." He inched his face closer to her, and kissed her cheek, and then her temple, before pulling her into a hug, his hands roaming over her a little. Her eyes closed, and she laid her head on his shoulder, savoring the embrace.

She felt him tighten his grip as he breathed in her scent, her hair, all of her. She turned her head and kissed his neck before she broke their hold, and he took her hand in his and they walked back to the valet.

The car ride back to her apartment was tragic. Only because he wanted nothing but to look at her, touch her, kiss her… but he had to drive. And why did he have to drive such a big SUV with a middle console. He'd have given anything to be in one of the old cars they use to drive around together when they were partners. He would be able to pull her over to him, hold her, while keeping one hand on the wheel.

Olivia could tell he was struggling to not touch her, and his erratic driving that resulted only made her laugh to herself. She watched him try to keep his breathing normal and saw his eyes dart over to her bare legs before he had to tug the wheel to put them back in their lane.

She rolled her eyes at his obvious discomfort, and before he killed them, she moved over as far as she could in her seat and took his hand and placed it on her knee. She saw him immediately let out a relieved breath. Finally, he pulled into a spot in front of her building.

She turned to look at him, unsure of what to say now. They weren't at Fins wedding anymore, no more eyes on them. It was just them alone, outside her apartment.

Seeing her hesitate a bit, knowing she was searching through uncertainty, he said, "I'll walk you up." And got out of the car.

She was nervous. This was all new between them, and yet not new at all. She knew how to act when she wanted a date to come up, and how to handle them when she didn't. But this was Elliot. There was over twelve years of sexual tension built up between them. Even though she desperately wanted to feel and see all of him, have his weight on her, and to finally know all the things about him that were a mystery to her… the way he sounded, the way his face looked when he came… this was too soon. She needed time. She needed her son to not be asleep in the next room.

He opened her door, breaking her thoughts, and helped her out and they walked into the building.

The second they entered the elevator he was on her. He grabbed her waist and pulled her to him, unable to keep his hands in check. They slid up the back of her ribs as his mouth made contact with her neck, eliciting a breathless moan from her. Her hands slid to the nape of his neck, her fingers playing with the hairs there. Now that his mouth had been on her, he didn't want it to be anywhere else but her body… at all times. Too many years, too many fantasies and dreams about this, and none of them did her justice. She was a drug, and he was addicted.

He also knew that tonight was not going to be their first night together. Her son was asleep in her apartment, and he knew she wasn't going to be ok going this fast. He was perfectly happy with that. Just knowing they were on a path at last to the possibility of a future together was enough for him. At least for tonight.

The elevator dinging, and the door opening almost didn't stop him from the assault on her neck. He caught the it before it closed on them and led her out to her door. He could tell she was suddenly nervous about what to do now. She stood facing her door, and he slid his hands down her arms, interlocking her fingers with his and bringing them around her waist pulling her into him.

He slowly placed light kisses on her neck and whispered "It's ok you know… I don't have to come in."

She turned her head to look at him.

"I mean, don't get me wrong… I want to come in… but I know Noah is sleeping and trust me when I tell you… when this finally does happen I won't be able to hold anything back." He said almost as a warning.

She pushed her ass into him a little at those last words he said, and he groaned feeling her flush up against his hard-on. His need to kiss her overtook his want to show restraint and he turned her around pushing her up against her door and kissing her hard. His hands slid down to cup her ass, as he devoured her mouth.

All of a sudden, he found himself catching her from falling as her door opened.

"Oh my God…" said Lucy, terribly embarrassed at what she just opened the door to.

Elliot and Olivia split apart after he helped her regain her balance, as Lucy said "I am so sorry Liv… I thought I heard something, so I went to look…" she trailed off.

Olivia swallowed; her face flushed like she was caught by her mother necking with a boy.

"It's ok Lucy... really, it's fine. I'm sorry we scared you." She said as they both came in. "This is Elliot… um Detective Stabler. My old partner."

Olivia closed her door and saw the connections Lucy was making. A few years ago Lucy found old pictures of her and Elliot and asked who he was. Olivia had stumbled trying to answer without letting her pain show. Lucy could tell then something was different about him. And now especially placing the man she was just making out with in her hallway, as the man in her pictures that were hidden away, Lucy's eyes widened as she looked at Olivia.

"Nice to meet you Detective." She said grabbing her coat. "Noah went to sleep at about 10 finally." She said with an eye roll. Olivia laughed.

"Again, sorry about my interruption." She smiled as she opened the door and left.

They both stood there for second, and then started laughing., "Let me just check on Noah really quick. I'll be right back." She said as she headed toward his room.

"Of course." He said.

She came back a few minutes later, barefoot. He had moved over to her shelving browsing the books there.

"Stop snooping…" she teased. He made his way over to her and pulled her into him, swaying a little.

"You know me so well…" he shot back, with a full on Stabler grin. This time it was Olivia pulling his lips to hers. She had to stand on her toes to reach him and when she did, she wasted no time slipping her tongue in his mouth. When he moaned in her mouth, she felt a surge of throbbing ache between her legs.

God, she was trying to kill him. He finally willed himself to break their kiss, breathing hard and swearing under his breath.

"Liv…" he said, his voice laced with warning. She starred up at him with swollen lips, a flushed face and her brown eyes that could see straight through his soul. She was devastatingly beautiful.

"I… should go." He said wishing he didn't have to. She made a pouting face and shook her head, knowing he was right.

He reluctantly let go of her, sighing with discontent at the loss of her touch. She took off his jacket and handed it back to him, goosebumps spreading across her skin at the heat loss.

She wrapped her arms around herself, as they walked to the door. He opened it and turned, kissing her one more time, not putting his hands on her, knowing he wouldn't leave otherwise, before he exited, and she shut her door.

She stood there for a moment, leaning her forehead against the wood. She closed her eyes still feeling his lips on hers. Another shiver went down her spine as she thought about everything that happened. She blew out the breath she was holding and walked into her bedroom.

She debated jumping in the shower, but she was tired, spent emotionally and physically. She slipped her dress off and climbed into bed, not even caring about taking her makeup off. She laid there reliving every touch of his hands on her skin and every kiss they shared… oh man she thought. She was in deep, and she knew loving Elliot wasn't going to be like loving anyone else. He was all consuming and intense. Her body shuddered at the thought of what that meant he would be like in bed.

She rolled over onto her back, touching her sore lips and laughed to herself. He branded her. She could still smell him on her skin, and she was grateful she decided against the shower. She missed him so much already and the thought sent a nervous feeling into the pit of her stomach. A slight tingling of fear was starting to creep in… how were they going to do this? There were still so many things left to talk about. He hasn't even formally met Noah. Does he want to? What if they aren't compatible in bed? What if she's not what he thought she would be… physically? It's been ten years, she's not in the same shape she was a decade ago… and her scars…

Stop it. Stop reading into all the things out of our control right now she thought. She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. Just then her phone buzzed.

Thank you for tonight. I had a really good time. First time in a long time. I know by now you're probably starting to freak out a little…

She let out a small laugh… he sure did know her. Then she got another one.

But I need you to know… this… what we're doing here… I'm in. I'm all in.

Her breath caught in her throat as she tried to stifle the tears threatening her eyes. Her phone buzzed again.

Semper Fi

Her tears did fall this time, not out of fear or sadness, but for once they came out of happiness. Semper fi was always something she associated with Elliot from him being a Marine and the medallion he left her. And now he was telling her he would always be faithful… to her. She heard her phone buzz again and laughed.

P.S. Idk how I'm supposed to sleep tonight… I can still taste you…

She bit her lip and closed her eyes… remembering the feeling of his lips, his tongue… his hands… she wasn't sure she was going to get any sleep either.

EOEOEOEO

A few miles away Elliot laid on his couch, in sweats and and an undershirt, smiling to himself as he sent that last text. He wasn't sure if she was going to respond or not, but it didn't matter. He was lost in his thoughts of her.

He had every line of her body committed to memory and he was adding all the new information to the old. Things he use to feel guilt for, like the curve of her breasts, the lines of her legs, the shape of her ass… now were all cemented in his memory. He used to steal a look at her in those date dresses of hers, but it was only for a second, and then he would made himself not look again. But now he has an almost full catalog of things. The feel of her skin, the softness and smell of her hair, what it feels like to have his hands on her legs, her ass. The feeling of her pulling him to her, her lips, her breath on his skin, her moaning in his ear….

His breathing started to become erratic, and he needed to at least try to sleep. He grabbed his jacket he set over the corner of the couch, and laid it on him, breathing in the scent she left. Her scent. He felt his phone buzz next to him.

I had a really good time too. I missed you El.

Those three words, I missed you, made his heart pound and his saliva catch in his throat. And she called him El again. This was going to work he thought. The fact she even told him that, that meant something. Something big. He laid there, thinking about those three words till he fell asleep, and for the first time in a long time, there were no nightmares.
