A/N I Own Nothing

"What do you think of this dress?" Hermione asked, stepping out of the changing room, positively glowing. She was wearing a white, tea length dress. The skirt was solid white, as was the top with lacy three quarter sleeves. It was beautiful on her, and you could she that she felt beautiful as well.

Her mother, Rachel, gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as tears filled her eyes.

"Mum?" Hermione asked in concern, only to be waved off by Rachel.

Molly squealed.

"Hermione." Ginny breathed. "Hermione, my brother's not gonna know what hit him!"

"You think so?" Hermione asked with a rosy blush and a girly giggle, swaying her hips, and feeling the dress swish around her legs.

"I know so." Ginny answered, grinning.

"Finishing touches?" Fleur asked, holding up a veil and a pair of white open toe heels.

Hermione nodded, grinning as Fleur set the heels down in front of her soon to be sister-in-law, and pinned the veil to her hair.

"Knowing Ronald, I would have to agree with Ginny." Luna piped up, tilting her head, making her radish earrings twinkle. "Though I would hope he wouldn't let the nargles bother him on such an important day."

"Humph." Muriel huffed, glancing at blonde she was sitting beside, before looking back at Hermione. "It's a bit… revealing, don't you think?"

Hermione's face dropped.

As did Ginny's. Rachel looked murderous at the sight of Hermione's disappointment. Fleur side eyed, Muriel. Molly opened her mouth to speak.

"Hmm. Yes, I guess it is." Luna hummed, before anyone else could speak, eyeing Hermione up and down. Muriel looked triumphant at having someone, anyone, agree with her. Luna continued, "If by revealing you mean the white revealing her pure mind and soul?"

"No! Girl, I-"

"Thank you, Luna." Hermione interrupted Muriel, smiling sweetly at Luna, and receiving an equally sweet smile from the younger woman.

"Well, Ladies." The sales woman said, coming back into the room. "Did we find the dress?"

Hermione beamed, glancing at her friends and family, sans Muriel, who all nodded enthusiastically. "We found the dress!"

Potters speak out! And possible lawsuit?

"Think It'll actually be enough to hold Skeeter off?" Ginny asked.

"Who even knows at this point!" Harry said, exasperated.

"How was your last year at Hogwarts?" a dark haired man asked, slinging his arm around Harry's shoulders.

"It was great, Dad!" Harry exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

"Of course it was!" Lily laughed from Harry's other side. "Head boy, got together with Ginny…"

James gave a loud laugh, ruffling Harry's hair. "Head boy and you got with the red headed girl of your dreams! Just like your old man, eh?"

Harry laughed, shoving at James to get him to stop messing his hair up even more than it already was.

"Actually finished school." Lily continued proudly, "Didn't run off and hide from Voldemort in tents."

"Mum?" Harry asked, confused.

"Didn't betray his best friend." James added.

"Didn't torture anyone."

"Didn't use any unforgivable at all!"

"Didn't steal."

"Didn't destroy priceless artifacts."

"Didn't kill anyone." Lily continued, reaching up and pinching Harry's cheek. "He was just a model son, one that anyone could be proud of!"

"That's right, my flower." James responded. "We didn't die for someone who would do any of that. Did we?"

"Mum, Dad?" Harry said, coming to a complete stop.

"No, we didn't." Lily answered, ignoring Harry, as if he never spoke. "Someone like that would have made a horrible son, wouldn't he have?"

"The worst." James agreed.

"And, if he went on to have a child himself, he would have been an even worse father, wouldn't he have?"

"Absolutely." James agreed once more. "It's a good thing we were blessed with a son like Harry, eh? One who just didn't tell us he did any of those things."

"He thought we wouldn't find out." Lily said, nodding her head. "Unfortunately, we may be dead, but we're not deaf."

Harry jerked awake with a gasp. Why was he suddenly having dreams like this? He had never had dreams like that before.

"Harry?" Ginny mumbled sleepily from beside him, "You okay?"

"How may I help you?" the seamstress at Madam Malkins asked, as soon as Harry, Ron and Neville walked into the store.

"We just need a, what are they called?" Ron asked glancing at Neville.

"I don't know! Pregnancy tux?" Neville responded.

"Pregnancy tux!" Ron continued. "For this one." He gently shoved Harry toward the witch. "And it needs to be one of the ones that helps conceal a pregnancy."

"Oh!" The seamstress breathed, realizing who she was looking at. While the girls had been able to find dresses at a muggle shop, and Ron and Neville had found tuxes, Harry had to venture into the magical world for himself.

"And for you to not mention this to anyone else." Neville muttered, fingering his wand.

"Understood!" The seamstress squeaked, bustling about the room, gathering her supplies.

A picture that would immediately be hung on the wall of Arthur's small backyard workshop, was the one taken on Father's day of two thousand.

Wife, sons, daughter, son in law, daughter in law, and future daughters in law, and grandchild all surrounding a grinning Arthur who wore a T-Shirt saying "World's Best Dad" on it.

"Ginny!" Ginny looked up from here she had been focused on Teddy at the sound of her name. To see a dark haired woman standing next to her table at the Leaky Cauldron.

"Cho?" Ginny asked, looking up at the woman, who nodded. "What- What are you doing here?"

"Well, I saw you over here and I thought I would come say 'hi'." Cho explained, "So, Hi!" She continued, giving a short wave of her hand.

"Uh," Ginny stuttered, she and Cho had never really talked while at Hogwarts. "Hi?"

"So, anyway," Cho said, pulling up a chair and sitting, to which Ginny raised an eyebrow. "You and Harry still talk, don't you?"

"Uh. Yeah." Ginny snorted, readjusting Teddy on her lap, where had this girl been in the last several months? "You could say that."

"Do you know if he's seeing anyone?" Cho questioned, leaning forward eagerly.

"You could say he is." Ginny answered, having a feeling she knew where this was going.

"Is it serious? I got to thinking, you see, if he would be… interested, I might like to pursue something there."

Gee, Ginny sure hoped their marriage, godson, and the child they had on the way would be considered serious.

"I-" Ginny started, only to be cut off by Hannah coming up to her table.

"The usual, Mrs. Potter?" Hannah asked in the same teasing tone she used since Ginny and Harry's wedding, Cho's face fell as she processed her question, "Fish and chips, and a butter beer for you, and a cheese toasty and apple juice for the little one?"

"Yes, thank you Hannah." Ginny responded.

"And anything for you Cho?" Hannah asked, glancing at the other woman.

"No, thank you, I-"

"Same as I'm having, please." Ginny cut in, "On me."

"Be back in a jiffy!" Hannah said, turning on heel and walking toward the kitchens, cleaning off a table on the way.

"Y-You don't have to, Ginny." Cho said, face flaming, as she grabbed her purse standing to leave.

"It's fine, Cho," Ginny said, grabbing the other woman's hand. "Really. Let me treat you to lunch?"

Cho fell back into the booth, face cradled in her hands. "God, I'm such an idiot." She mumbled.

"No, you're not." Ginny said, quietly.

"Yes, I am." Cho exclaimed, looking up at Ginny, hands falling to rest on the table. "Look who I'm talking to! The girl he couldn't keep his eyes off of the entirety of my last year! And I just had to ask her if he was single!"

Ginny snorted, "Well, I would have had to ask as well, in your situation." She stated. "I mean, I may be bias, but he is quite the catch."

"Yeah." Cho scoffed, "I know."

"Now." Ginny started, "If you're single and ready to mingle, I do know a few fine bachelors."

"I can't believe you ran into Cho Chang." Harry said that evening, when Ginny told him about her run in.

"I know." Ginny answered. "It was the most random thing, too."

Ginevra Potter and Cho Chang, unlikely friends? Or something else?

By Rita Skeeter

Ginny narrowed her eyes at the headline, she could have sworn Rita Skeeter had been no where near that dining room. Though she had been preoccupied by Teddy, then Cho, maybe Rita had been there and Ginny simply hadn't noticed.

"This was just the rehearsal dinner, and it was stressful." Hermione muttered, head held in her hands.

"Lighten up, a bit!" Ginny said, not unsympathetically, nudging Hermione's shoulder. "You're getting married tomorrow!"

July 1st, 2000

Ginny had been right, Ron hadn't known what hit him when he saw Hermione in her dress. As he watched her walk down the aisle arm in arm with her father, Ron had the biggest, dopiest grin on his face. Harry stood beside him as best man, and Neville as the groomsman. Ginny was the Matron of Honor, while Luna was the bridesmaid.

Little Victoire was flower girl, with Teddy as ring bearer, Fleur walking down the aisle with them, holding their little hands in hers.

Dan had given Hermione away with tears in his eyes and a loving smile on his lips.

Hermione made it halfway through her vows before starting to cry herself.

Ginny, armed with pockets full of tissues, came to the rescue, quickly stepping out of line to hand Hermione one of said tissues.

There had been a heart stopping moment where Harry's pregnancy brain couldn't locate which pocket he had slipped the ring in.

It had been his inner breast pocket.

Having both hyphenated their names, they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Granger-Weasley.

xXx

"I am exhausted." Harry said, laying down on their bed, already changed into sleep clothes, as Ginny bustled around the room, getting ready for bed herself.

"Heh. Me too." Ginny yawned, crawling into bed beside him. "I can't believe you had lost the ring." She snickered.

"It was right in my pocket. Not truly lost." Harry corrected. "Just misplaced. Damn pregnancy brain."

In a matter of moments, they were fast asleep.

It wouldn't be until hours later, late into the night, when they were awoken by sounds coming from elsewhere in their apartment.

"The hell was that?" Ginny whispered, squinting through the darkness at her husband.

"I have no idea." Harry muttered glancing at the bedroom door.

"Stay here." Ginny told him, sitting up, and rolling out of bed.

"Shouldn't that be my line?"

"Not right now, it's not!" Ginny exclaimed quietly, grabbing her wand and making her way to the living room.

Harry sat on the bed, twiddling his thumbs, wishing he had gone out with Ginny, but knowing she was right and he should stay put.

"The Hell are you doing in our apartment?!" he heard Ginny yell. Jumping up, he rushed to the bedroom door, cracking it open to peek into the living room.

"Now, now, Ginevra." He heard a familiar voice scold. "Surely you don't want to wake your neighbors?"

Harry flung open the bedroom door. Now this was way too far, he marched his way into the living room.

"I don't give a damn about the neighbors right now!" Ginny growled, she should have known this woman knew way too much about their private life. "What I do give a damn about though, is why you felt you could come into our apartment uninvited."

"Well-" Rita started, only to be cut off by Ginny when she saw her husband.

"Harry, call the Aurors." Ginny told him, glaring all the while at the reporter in their living room. Harry didn't need to be told twice, immediately going for the phone, immensely glad that the ministry had invested in emergency lines similar to that of the muggle world. "We have a beetle infestation."
