The family looked at the massive Spartan walk away in the dark woods while he held his weapons in his armor. Lincoln looked at Lacy and Lacy did the same. Lacy ran to the Spartan and tapped him on his torso where the armor didn't cover. He turned to face the small girl and looked at her dead in the eyes behind his visor.

"What?" He asked

"Why do you have to leave?" Lacy asked, "We can help you."

"You can't," He said as he turned in the other direction and began to walk away

"Why not," Lacy pouted as she followed him "We can give you food."

"I don't need it," He said to her

"We have water,"

"I don't need it."

"We have electricity."

"My suit has that too."

Lacy ran to the front of him and held her hands out to stop his approach. He raised his hand and pushed her aside. She fell with a thud on the floor.

"You know what," Lacy huffed as she got up, "Maybe you are a robot!"

Suddenly he stopped.

"Oh ho ho ho," Lacy said as their view of the family disappeared "That's what got your attention. You're just a robot. A big dumb stupid robot."

747 listened to her rampage at him and turned but not for her insults. While she was going on with her hissy fit he looked around her. Lacy took note of this and wasn't very happy that he was ignoring her again.

"Hey!" Lacy shouted "Are you even listening to me! Helloooo!"

747 just stood there as he scanned the area and he checked his motion tracker. It was blank but he knew he wasn't alone and it wasn't Lacy. He waited for 2 seconds before a red bleep appeared on his motion tracker. He turned to where the bleep was and pulled out his spiker and grabbed Lacy by the wrist. He yanked her in and pulled him behind her. He stared into the dark woods and stood there… waiting.

"What are you doing!" Lacy shouted, "Let go of me!"

"Don't talk," He said was a dead seriousness in his voice, "Stay behind me."

Lacy dropped the act when she realized in his tone of voice, now was not time to complain. She hushed behind him and stood there silently. He heard a scuttle in the leaves and aimed his spiker as he pulled Lacy behind her.

"Show yourself you bastard," He silently said to himself

"Put gun up," He heard a raspy voice say, "No shoot."

He aimed the spiker in the direction of the voice and peered into the darkness as a figure emerged from the forest. It was a grunt… one grunt with a red methane tank. It stepped out of the woods with its hands in the air and plasma pistol still at its side.

"What the fuck is that!" Lacy shouted, "Kill it!"

"No no!" the grunt pleaded "No shoot! We good covenant! Us no like the bad covenant!"

"What do you mean we?" 747 questioned

Suddenly 3 more figures emerged from the dark, all ranging from Lacy's size to beings taller than the Spartan. Out stepped a Jackle, Hunter and a drone stepped out with hands up.

"What makes you think I shouldn't end you all right now?" 747 said, "How do I know you don't want to kill any more of my kind."

'My kind?' Lacy thought

"We don't like kill humans, us never want to fight war against you." the grunt pleaded "I-if me give gun to you, you no kill us."

The grunt pulled the plasma pistol from his side and threw it at the Spartan. He then turned to the other aliens and said something in the covenant tongue. They all nodded in agreement and threw them all their weapons except the hunter whose cannon was melded to his armor. A beam rifle, plasma pistols, a spiker, and a needler hit the floor in front of them. The Spartan stepped forward and scooped them out to see if they didn't have any other weapons. They were clear…

"Girl, hold this," 747 said as he handed her the Beam rifle and the needler while picked up the rest of the weapons from the floor.

She grasped the alien weaponry and held it confusingly.

"So you put down gun?" the grunt asked

He paused for a moment before he lowered his weapon and placed it in the pile of guns in his other hands. He looked at them and looked at Lacy.

"What's your name?" 747 asked

"My name Yap yap," the grunt said and he turned to the group of aliens behind him "He Krakle," he said as he pointed to the jackal "He Yemres" He pointed at the drone "And he Momoanti" he pointed at the hunter that waved at them

"Ok, Why are you here?" 747 asked

"Well it long story," the grunt said

Flashback to before 747 left the ark

Yap Yap and Yemeres were hiding behind a destroyed wraith as the hail of human and elite gunfire flew around him. He cowered in fear as he saw the mountains of dead grunts falling down the hill that the demons had captured to make way for the landing craft. He looked to his left and saw Krakle hiding behind his energy shield and ran to find cover. He ran behind the wraith as well as the never-ending shells of artillery blew holes around the destroyed wraith. He looked up and saw a human ship fly above them that left the ring. It was the Forward Unto Dawn. He looked back down and dirt flew up and blinded his vision. He looked back up and saw Pelicans and green Phantoms making their way to the landing zone. He looked to his left and a pad filled with banshees. He looked at the other 2 who were still in shock from the rain of fire. He tapped them on the shoulders and pointed at the banshees.

"Look!" Yap yap said "Go! Go! Go!"

Yap Yap ran like a toddler and the jackal ran and covered both him and the drone. He was not even 10 meters away from the banshees but soon a rocket slammed into the side of their way of escape and all the banshees blew up. They soon heard the rumbling of a warthog and turned to see a warthog drive by as the marines mowed down their companions. The machine gunner spotted them and turned the turret towards them the machine gun was revving up but soon a green ball of plasma slammed into the side of the 4 wheeled vehicle and it exploded into a million bits. As the dust cleared Momoanti stood there in defense position while he fired more plasma shots at the human defenses. All 3 of them look at each other and dashed towards the Hunter and hid behind him. As the gunfire bounced off of the hunters' shield they saw a phantom that was still on the ground at the landing pad next over. Yap yap pointed at the phantom and whispered something into the Hunters' ear. He nodded and still in defense position he hobbled over to the phantom. Bullets pinged off of his armor as they made their way there. When they finally reached it they ran into the grav-lift and they loomed into the ship. Inside was no one and so Yap Yap grasped the controls but there was one problem.

Yap Yap never knew how to fly a phantom. But that didn't stop him from pulling up off of the ground and the gravity lift closed as they moved their way out of the battlefield. Yap Yap steered the ship out of the atmosphere and they moved it out of the way of the green Phantoms and pelicans but soon they opened fire on the ship. The gunfire shook the ship and they managed to steer it away from them. But soon there was a beeping Krakle noticed. It showed that the left engine was knocked out. Soon they spiraled into the portal that they aimed for. But for a split second before they entered he noticed a man in white armor and orange visor. Like time stopped the Halo's death circle blew the ship into the portal and they were pinned to the wall while the phantom spun out in the slip space portal. Yap Yap saw the demon still traveling with them but then it stopped moving in one direction. The ship suddenly got pulled sideways and the Spartan got pulled too. Soon Yap yap saw a giant grey wall and his eyes widened the Spartan flew in there first and it seemingly shattered like glass after the demon went through it and the phantom was not that far behind. He closed his eyes and hoped for his survival.

"And now we here." Yap Yap concluded
