Chapter 4: Venom
Spider-Man is riding the Spider-Cycle in a subway.
Freeze Frame Starts
"Don't even ask, my boys. Yes, I'm on my Spider-Cycle, and I'm riding it inside subway tunnel. Don't try this at home kids."

Spider-Man is riding the Spider-Cycle away from what looks like a drone with tentacles. Spider-Man takes a quick peek behind him. "That thing is STILL chasing me? I gotta get to school, man. Leave me alone!" Spider-Man then starts to pass several citizens as the drone is still chasing him. "GET DOWN!" The drone comes through breaking everything in it path.
The citizens start running away from the falling debris. Spider-Man is still riding away from the drone as it starts attacking him with it's tentacles. Spidey starts riding the motorcycle in the middle of the railroad, but the wheels start to get out of control. Spidey presses a button with splits the wheels into four, and he starts riding smoothly.
"This feels so much better!" The drone knocks Spider-Man off the Spider-Cycle. "OW! You stupid little…" Spider-Man jumps onto a wall to dodge the tentacles.

"Alrighty then, its confirmed. All robots just freaking hate me."

Spidey jumps off the wall and back onto the Spider-Cycle. The bike's wheels switch back from four to two, and Spidey drives away. As he drives away, the drone hits Spider-Man on his… "WOAH, HEY! KEEP YOUR TENTACLES OFF MY BUTT!" Spider-Man kicks the tentacle off of his butt.
"Spider-Man, are you playing with that thing or fighting it?" Nick Fury says as he appears on the motorcycle hologram. "I'm actually doin' both." Spider-Man says. "You have weapons. Use them!" Fury reminds him, but Spidey looks hesitant to use them.
"Bro, these weapons aren't tested… What do I look like using untested weapons?" Spidey turns the web-shooter mode to electric mode, then the web-shooter is covered with electricity. "What the heck is this?! This looks dangerous, man!" Fury sighs. "Hence, they are weapons." Spidey realizes that they really are weapons.
"Oh yeah…" He shoots his webs through the web-shooter as the electricity grabs onto his web and covers it with electricity. He misses and the drone throws him on the railroad, and steps on both of his arms so he can't move. Spider-Man sees a train coming and an electric pipe to his side. "I really don't wanna do this…"
Spider-Man shoots a web at the electric pipe and switches the web-shooter to electric mode. The drone and Spider-Man are getting shocked by extreme electricity and the drone lets go of Spider-Man. Spidey jumps on the ceiling and the drone gets ran over by the train. Spider-Man jumps to the other citizens when they start laughing.
"What's funny?" Spidey looks down behind him and sees that the clothing part that covers his backside is missing. "AH! MY BOOTY SHOWIN'! NOT MY BOOTY" Spidey runs out of the subway to go to Midtown. 15 minutes later, Spidey is swinging through the city as he finds the nearest building to land on. He sees a building near his school and lands. "What did that thing even want, man?"
At the subway station, a tiny robot comes out one of the drone's tentacles a tube on it's back like it collected something. "Bio-Sample acquired."
Back at Midtown High, Khalil changed into his regular clothes and is running the school doors. "Yessir, I'm bout' to make it!" The doors close just as Khalil was about to enter the school. "Again, man?" Khalil then hears a voice at the school window and sees his bestfriend. "Harry!"
Khalil walks to the window and climbs in it. "Remind me to buy you a watch, maybe a watch company. Hurry up. We'll miss homeroom." Khalil smiles at his friend.

"Man, I don't know what I'd do without Harry, my boys. He's been by my side ever since we first met. I'd go crazy if I lost this dude."
Freeze Frame Ends
"You'd forget where you live if MJ didn't walk you home. Just make sure you're not late tonight." This leaves Khalil confused. "Uh…" Harry sighs as he knew that Khalil would forget. "My dad's out of town. The penthouse is open for a movie marathon with you, me and MJ." Four kids known by Khalil then appear behind Harry.
"Excuse us, but can we borrow KJ for a teensy sec?" Khalil looked confused as to how Ava knew his nickname. "I'm clearly talking to somebody, so can it wai-", "Khalil. Talk. Now." Sam starts pushing him into the other side of the hallway. "Whoa, hey! What's the deal?" Harry asks.

"These guys be the deal, man. Luke, Ava, Danny, and Sam the loser are superheroes kind of like me. Power Man, White Tiger, Iron Fist, and Nova the super loser."
Freeze Frame Ends
"My bad, Harry. I'll come back in a little bit. Just let me talk to these guys real quick." Harry turns around with a frown on his face.
In a dark place, Octavius is in a lab processing the sample he took from Spider-Man. "Welcome home, my cherished biosample. This sample is better than I ever imagined. It's monstrous!" Octavius says as he takes out the sample. Inside looks like moving black slime.
"Did you get the sample?" Norman Osborn appears as a hologram as he asks this question. "You have no idea, Mr. Osborn. I've isolated the deadliest aspects of Spider-Man's DNA. It's all aggression. Pure venom. You wanted an army? Imagine one clad in living armor that imbues your soldiers with Spider-Man's powers. All I need is a few months."
Norman's eyes widen. "Months?" Norman asks with surprise in his voice. "Months. This is practically a new life form! The dangers of rushing-", "Afraid lightning will strike twice? I gave you the facilities and the body to handle our unique scientific endeavors. Use them." Norman signs off.
At the Midtown High Cafeteria, Ava, Luke, Danny, and Sam are laughing at a photo with Spider-Man's backside clothing ripped off. Ava slides next to Khalil. "Okay, that I didn't need to see. Why'd we find out about this from Fury and not you?"
Khalil swallows his food as he is about to speak. "I literally just got here, bruh. Y'all ain't my mom and dads." Danny walks next to him. "Stand together or fall alone, KJ. That's why we wanted to talk." Khalil shoves Danny's hand off his shoulder. "How about we talk about y'all makin' me blow off my dawg Harry like that. I made a deal with Fury that my time is my time." Khalil says.
"We also made a deal to work together, remember?" Luke says as Sam puts his phone down. "Yeah, you got a job now. Khalil. You don't need to kiss up to moneybags anymore for cash." Harry hears this, slams his plate on the table, and walks into the hallway. Khalil sees Sam smiling, so he puts his hand on Sam's face, and pushes it back, making him fall on the floor.
Khalil walks into the hallway to catch Harry. "Harry, hold up, man! I'll can explain!" Harry turns back. "You don't need to explain anything. You have your "detention friends" to save your butt, now." Khalil's eyes widen at this remark. "You think they're my friends? You thought wrong, bruh." The other four kids hear this on the other side and get upset a little.
"Oh yeah, then what are they?" Khalil pauses as he doesn't know what to say. "That's what I thought." Harry walks back into the cafeteria. "Handled with that Khalil Spears finesse." Said a certain red-headed teenage girl. "We not bout' to do this MJ." Khalil says. "You mean, "How do I fix this MJ?" Then I say, "Harry feels left out, so include him." All you have to do is invite the new kids over, and you guys will be good as new."
Khalil thinks about this and lifts up his hand. This confuses MJ. "Ten bucks that this plan won't even work." MJ rolls her eyes and shakes his hand.
At the Osborn residence, Harry is watching TV when Norman notices his unlikely attitude. "Harry, everything all right?" Harry looks at his dad and back at the TV. "It's nothing. I'm fine." Norman looks concerned for his child. "What is it son? We have no secrets." Norman says hoping his son will tell him what's wrong. "Well… KJ's hanging out with some new guys and he sort of ditched me."
Harrys says clearly disappointed. "That doesn't sound like him. But it'll all be ok my son. These things always work themselves out. I left a thousand dollars in case you get hungry." Norman says as he walks out of the house. Harry smiles and picks up the phone. "Hey, it's Harry. What should we do with a thousand dollars and my dad's penthouse?"
30 minutes later, Khalil and the rest of his team leave the elevator and into the hallway of Harry's house. "You can think of this as a team bonding exercise. Just without our superhero fighting skills." Khalil says. "I don't need a new friend." Sam complains.
"Shut up with ya' whining. If y'all finna invade my life, it's bout' to be on my terms." Khalil knocks on the door, only to see Flash open it. "Wait, why are YOU here?" Khalil says with a glare. "Party time!" Flash opens the door all the way, only for Khalil to see several kids from school partying. "This was completely unexpected…" Khalil walks in to find Harry.
Back in Octavius's lab, Norman comes in the lab and sees it destroyed. "The new life form escaped." Norman looks at Octavius angrily. "Octavius, what happened?" Octavius puts his mechanical tentacles in Norman's face. "You wanted a monster, I made you a monster. Or a masterpiece. History will be my judge." Norman walks to the place it escaped from.
"Where is it?" Norman asks. "Best guess? It's going back where it came from." Norman gets the idea and knows where it's going. "Spider-Man."
Back to the party at Harry's, everybody is dancing and talking. "I'm missing homework for this?" Khalil looks at Ava with a disgusted look. "I know this isn't what I expected, but I would MUCH rather be at a party than do homework." Ava rolls her eyes and Khalil sees MJ walk up to them. "Hey, guys. Some party, huh?" MJ says sarcastically.
"I thought we was finna watch a movie." Khalil says. "Me too, but apparently we're watching half the school party down at Harry's house instead." MJ sees Harry behind them both. "The whole school, actually. Except for the ones who weren't invited." Harry points his thumb to the four kids Khalil brought along and sees Sam eating nachos very fast.
"What? They're good nachos." Sam says with food still in his mouth. "I brought 'em. I thought everybody would just get along if we all got to know each other, and things would be cool." Harry scowls at Khalil. "I don't need anymore friends. As you can see, I've got plenty." Harry then jumps on the piano talking into a microphone. "You guys are the best!"
All kids start chanting Harry's name. Khalil looks at MJ waving his fingers back and forth. MJ rolled her eyes because she knew what he was reminding her of. She reached in her pocket and gave him ten bucks. "Thank you." Khalil says with an innocent smile. Khalil's Spidey-Sense kicks in and he rushes to the bathroom.
"Wait, Khalil!" MJ sighs as the other four kids come up behind her. "Nervous bladder. Ever since first grade." MJ tells them. In the bathroom, Khalil is trying to figure out why his Spidey-Sense went crazy, but he only saw Flash drinking sink water.
"Um…Flash, what are doing?" Flash is startled and falls on the ground. "I wasn't doing anything!" Khalil starts to laugh. "YOU WERE JUST DRINKING SINK WATER!" Khalil starts laughing uncontrollably. Flash gets angry and lifts his head over the toilet. "OKAY, OKAY, I'LL STOP!" Khalil is still laughing, but stops after he sees the toilet swirling black, slimy water.
What comes out is a giant black beast. "AHHHHHH!" Khalil and Flash scream simultaneously. Flash tries to run out the bathroom, but the black substance sticks itself on Flash. But it wasn't attacking him, it was using him as some kind of host. Flash looked like a black monster.
"Wait, that thing just took Flash's form. That was a symbiote… Why is there a random symbiote just roaming the streets?!" Before Khalil could attack the symbiote-covered Flash, he punches Khalil out the bathroom, Khalil falls down the stairs, and he falls on the floor.
"KHALIL!" The team, Harry, and MJ scream his name. The symbiote-Flash comes out the bathroom and to where the party was at. He roars at the kids and destroys the lights making it a little difficult to see.

"I know me and Flash are enemies, man, but I can't let even someone like him get attacked by a symbiote."

All the kids start running into the hallway where there's light, but Harry is just standing to see if Khalil was safe. "Where's Khalil?! Khalil!" Khalil in his Spider-Man outfit is standing in the dark to make sure he doesn't see him. "I'm here, bruh! Just go on ahead!" Harry is looking left and right to find him. But Ava and the boys push them out the house.
Spider-Man is dodging the symbiote's attacks. He goes for a punch on him, but then his head starts to go crazy. "GAAAHHHHH! NEVER MIND!" Spidey retreats from the symbiote. "I'll just say this from a distance. Let the punk go!" Nova floats down next to Spidey.
"I think it likes you, webs." Nova teases. The symbiote starts launching his tentacles at the Nova, but he destroys them with his blue energy-covered fists. "That's funny, he only wants to touch you. Guess you finna have a new husband." Spider-Man chuckles under his mask.
"Well since you don't wanna fight back, I got this." Nova is about to blast the symbiote, but it takes itself off of Flash, leaving him unconscious, and latches onto Nova. "AHH! GET IT OFF!" The symbiote then takes Nova as a new host.

"As much as I REALLY love punching Nova, he doesn't even deserve to get slimed by a black slime."

Symbiote-Nova launches himself at Spidey and knocks them both out of the window. Spider-Man quickly shoots his webs onto a wall and sticks himself to a wall. "Yup, it's definitely a symbiote if keeps jumping host to host like that." Spider-Man starts to jump all the way to the roof. Once he makes it, he looks down at Symbiote-Nova.
"AYO NOVA!" Symbiote-Nova looks up to see what that was, and he sees Spider-Man. "COME TO THE STREETS!" Symbiote-Nova dashes to the roof of the building about to attack Spider-Man, but the host tries to get the symbiote off of him. "GET IT OFF ME!" Nova starts glowing blue, but the symbiote is still latched onto him.
White Tiger, Power Man, and Iron Fist appear next to Spidey to help him. "How do we stop that thing without hurting Nova? Any Ideas?" Ava asks hoping he had an idea. "Nah, I actually liked hurting him." Ava rolls her eyes at Spidey. "You're unbelievable…" Power Man runs up to Symbiote-Nova ready to fight. "I got this!" Spider-Man facepalms. "Don't let it touch yo-, you know what, It's confirmed, you're an idiot."
Power Man grabs the symbiote and snatches it off of Nova, but then it latches onto him. The symbiote then fully takes the new host. "We gotta fight Power Man mixed with a symbiote? Lord, what is yo plan for us?" Spider-Man says. Iron Fist tries to punch him, but Symbiote-Power Man dodges and kicks him in the face, knocking him back.
Iron Fist get backs up and his fist starts glowing again. "All life is sacred creature, but what you're doing is wrong. Let him go before I forget I'm a pacifist." Spider-Man facepalms again. "So I guess we're just gonna ignore the fact that nobody's heard of a long distance attack." Iron Fist runs up to Symbiote-Power Man and punches the symbiote off.
"DANG! HE PUNCHED THE GOOFY OUT THAT BOY!" Spider-Man exclaims. After the symbiote is off Power Man, it starts going for Iron Fist, but he dodges every attack it throws at him. But then one of it's tentacles grab him by the foot and slams him down, taking his body as a new host. "Wait, I can hear it's thoughts. They're uh… they're… they're confused. Spider-Man, it… it wants you?"
This leaves Spider-Man confused. Why would the symbiote want him? The symbiote then takes Iron Fist as a new host. Symbiote-Iron Fist runs to Spider-Man to punch him with Iron Fist's powers. "Sorry buddy. I've thought about it, and I wanna keep my body." Spider-Man backflips away, webs Symbiote-Iron Fist in the face, and slams his face down.
Harry is following MJ up the stairs to the roof. "MJ! What are you doing?" Harry asks. "Getting the scoop of the year. This is my ticket to a job at the Daily Bugle!" Harry's eyes widen. "More like a ticket to the hospital!" Harry keeps following. Symbiote-Iron Fist starts losing control as the host punches the ground with his glowing fist and get the symbiote off of him.
The symbiote charges at White Tiger, but Spidey stops it. "Alright, man! You don't gotta hurt Ava. It's me you want right? Then take me." The symbiote then takes Spider-Man as a new host. "Spidey, no!" Tiger yells as the symbiote takes it true form. Its true form looks like a bulky symbiote version of Spider-Man. "I. Am. VENOM!"
White Tiger tries talking to him. "Spider-Man, I know you're in there, I don't wanna hurt you." Tiger starts running to Venom and attacks him with her claws, making Venom scream in pain. Venom tries punching her, but she jumps away. Venom then grabs the pole behind White Tiger, and knocks it on top of her. "Hold on, White Tiger!" Iron Fist comes to the pole and breaks it with his glowing fist of iron and picks up Tiger.
"Let's talk. I know you're in there, Spider-Man." Venom then growls at Iron Fist. "There is only Venom." Venom smacks Iron Fist away. Nova starts to get up. "I wish we hadn't just had a special moment where you sacrificed yourself and junk." Nova lifts his hand as it is surrounded with blue energy. "Sorry, webhead." Nova starts blasting Venom with full force.
MJ and Harry are on the stairs, while MJ records the fight. "Do you see Khalil?" MJ shakes her head. "Woah. It's stronger than Spider-Man." Harry says in fear. Venom walks up to Nova who is on the ground but turns to his right to see Harry. Venom starts running to him ready to attack.
This wakes Spider-Man up instantly. "HARRY, NO!" Spider-Man rages uncontrollably as being inside of Venom awakens a dark substance inside of himself. He punches himself halfway out of Venom's chest, but only to see that his suit was black and sticky. "DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH THEM AGAIN!"
Spider-Man in his black looking suit starts punching Venom uncontrollably. Leaving Harry, MJ, and the team astonished. Spidey was normally a very cocky and arrogant child. But he seemed like he wanted to kill Venom. Spidey then sees that they are in between two electric boxes and he remembers what happened with the drone.
He shoots his webs at the boxes and switches the web-shooters to electric mode. Spider-Man glares at Venom with a very scary glare. "SCREW YOU! YOU CAN DIE FOR ALL I CARE!" Spidey shoots the electricity into the webs which makes them both scream in extreme pain. After the electricity stops, Venom blows up which leaves only Spidey.
The team runs up to Spider-Man to see if he was ok, but he looks at them all angrily. "You okay, Spider?" Power Man asks as Spider-Man was still growling in uncontrollable anger. White Tiger gets on her knees with him and hugs Spider-Man calm him down. "Calm down, Spidey. We're here. Harry's fine." Spidey's eyes widen and then the black substance goes back inside of him.
White Tiger looks at Spidey and let's go of him. He starts shaking his head like he had a headache. "Thanks, you guys. It's nice to know that I can always depend on my friends." The team's eyes widen as they start to smile. Spidey really accepted them as friends! Harry and MJ start running up to them. "Have you guys seen Khalil?" Harry asks. Spidey walks up to Harry. "He's alright, man. You don't gotta worry bout' him." Harry smiles at this. "Good, he's my best friend." Spider-Man smiles under his mask.
In Octavius's lab, Norman walks into the lab. "Begin the tirade. I'm ready." Octavius says with his back turned. "On the contrary Octavius. You of all people should know how genius can rise from disaster. The symbiote was a success. I want an improved prototype. One that The Spider and his troublemakers can't stop." Octavius smile sinisterly. "I'll make it my best work, sir."
At the Osborn residence, Harry and MJ are cleaning until they see Khalil walk in. "Hey." Khalil says hesitantly. "Hey." Harry responds. "I'm gonna let you two talk this out." MJ walks out the house, leaving Khalil and Harry. "I'm sorry. Hey! Jinx!" They both say simultaneously. "We cool, man?" Khalil reaches for a handshake. Harry accepts it. "We're good."
Khalil starts talking about the other four. "And ya' know, those other guys aren't half bad. Except Sam. He be aggravatin' me most of the time." Harry goes to clean the piano but sees a piece of Spider-Man's symbiote on it. He catches it with a bottle and turns back to Khalil. "You know what? I'll give them a chance. If you say they're cool, then I'll believe you."
They both smile and get back to cleaning.
