"Your majesty, you must calm yourself." Mahad's brows furrowed in concern as King Solomon paced. He had found the king mumbling to himself early this morning and the monarch still hadn't noticed his presence until just a second ago when he had cleared his throat. The sorcerer carefully maneuvered himself clear of the monarch's path when he stalked from the room, the wrinkles becoming more profound as he swam towards the audience chamber. "I am sure that they will be alright."

The mighty golden trident next to gave a flash of violet light as he grasped its hilt, a resounding note ringing out as he tapped the base against the polished floor. A guard instantly appeared who bowed their head deeply while asking what he required. "Tell me, has the hunting party returned?"

"Yes, sire, Captain Shada and his group have reentered the kingdom's borders and will be here shortly."

"Tell him to remain on standby near the gates. I sense trouble brewing."
