Sun-hee POV

As soon as I got to the school gates this morning, I was clamored by reporters.

"Tell me, what is All Might doing to teach his students?!" A female reporter yelled. It startled me, but I just kept a bland, bored face.

"I'm afraid you'll have to ask the school, not the students. It's only the third day and it's too early to gauge his teaching methods. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get to class," I answered in a bored tone. I walked away from the reporter and entered the school. Geez, I'm glad I wasn't on the news a year ago. As soon as I got to the classroom, I sat down in my seat and sighed. Soon enough, Mr. Aizawa came in to start class.

"Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys," he started. "I saw the video feeds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo. You're talented. So don't soak like a child about your loss, okay?"

"Yeah, whatever," Bakugo grumbled.

"And Midoriya," Aizawa continued. "I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. And don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your quirk. That line's already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here. But your quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So show a little urgency, huh?"

"Right," Midoriya responded.

"Let's get down to business. Our first high school decides your future," Aizawa continued. We haven't picked a class representative. Maybe it's that. And sure enough Mr. Aizawa says, "You all need to pick a class representative." After he said that, everyone started telling how they wanted to be the representative. I wasn't begging for it, but if they wanted me to be class rep, I wouldn't turn it down.

"Silence, everyone, please," Iida yelled. We all turn to him waiting for him to speak. "The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!"

It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you.

People began to protest the idea, but soon those protests became encouragement toward the idea. I ended up voting for Yoayurozu cause she seemed fit for the job. The results were Midoriya having three votes and I tied with Yoayurozu with two. Wonder who voted for me?

"Okay, you idiots! Who voted for him?!" Bakugo yelled.

"What, did you honestly think anyone was gonna vote for you?" Sero asked.

"What did you just say?!"

"There's a tie," Uraraka said next to me.

"Yoayurozu can have it," I say, waving my hand in dismissal.

"Really? But come on, Sun-hee. You are perfect for the job," Mina whined. Guess I know one of the people that voted for me.

"Mina, I was one of the people that voted for Yoayurozu. So, I think she should have it." Mina pouted in defeat and turned back around.

"Thank you, Jin," Yoayurozu thanked as she walked up to the podium next to Midoriya, who was oddly stiff and shaking.

"Alright, the class rep is Midoriya, and our deputy is Yoayurozu," Mr. Aizawa blandly announced.

"Really? Uh, it's not a mistake?" Midoriya asked.

"How'd this happen?" Yoayurozu sighed.

The class began making comments on how good Midoriya would be at this. He's just going to be a nervous wreck. He might get the hang of it eventually, but that's not likely.

I was packing up for lunch, when Uraraka came up to me.

"Hey, Jin! I was wondering if you wanted to eat lunch with me, Iida, and Deku," she offered. I normally eat lunch with Mina, I look in her direction to see her smiling and nodding. I look back to Uraraka.

"Sure," I answer. I pack up the rest of my stuff and we walk out of the classroom. She was asking me about my puzzles and how I can solve them so fast. I just gave her the answers she wanted, trying not to look flustered at her compliments. We got lunch and sat down with Midoriya and Iida.

"It's always so crowded in here," Uraraka commented.

"That's because students need the support, management, and hero courses are all in the same cafeteria," Iida explains.

"This rice is delicious," Uraraka says with rice still in her mouth.

"You shouldn't talk with your mouth full, Uraraka. At least cover your mouth when talking," I reprimand her.

"Guys, I'm kind of worried about the whole class rep thing. I don't think I'm qualified," Midoriya worries while staring at his food.

"Sure you are." "You'll be great." Uraraka and Iida encourage. Midoriya looks up confused.

"Your courage and quick thinking under stress will help make you a worthy leader. Not to mention the strength you've demonstrated. Those are the reasons I voted for you, at least," Iida explains.

"You were one of the three?!"

"Didn't you want to be really badly, I mean you look the part. Cause of the glasses," Uraraka asked.

"That's not exactly how we should be choosing our rep."

"Wanting a job and being suited to it are quite different things. Observing the Iida family's hero agency has taught me that much."

"Agency," Uraraka and Midoriya exclaim, while I look at Iida curiously.

"Hold on what does your family do?" Midoriya asked. And although Iida tried avoiding the question, he ended up answering anyway.

"I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family," Iida started. "You see, the Iidas have been pro heroes for generations. It runs in our blood."

Midoriya and Uraraka were gushing at how awesome it was, and I gave him an impressed look.

"Are the three of you familiar with the Turbo Hero, Ingenium?" Iida asked.

"I know all about him!" Midoriya exclaimed. "He's a super popular pro with 65 sidekicks working alongside him at his Tokyo agency. Don't tell me..."

"He is my elder brother!"

"Your family is famous!" "I can't believe it."

"Ingenium is an unmatched commander who honors the hero code. As the second oldest Iida son, I strive to be just like him. However, I think it might be a bit too soon for me to be in a leadership role." He looks to Midoriya. "You, for example. You figured out what the judges were looking for in the practical exam. A rep needs that sort of insight."

"That's the first time I've seen you smile, Tenya. You should do it more," Uraraka suggested. Iida started to argue back and I just chuckled.

"I've been wondering, what happened during the entrance exam?" I asked.

"That's right you were one of the recommended students," Uraraka said. "Anyway, basically we had to take down robots. And there was this huge one that wasn't worth any points. I had gotten stuck in some rubble when Deku used his quirk to jump and take it down with one punch. But, he broke himself in the process."

"I see."

"Wait a minute, if you were recommended, you must also belong to a hero family," Uraraka inserted.

"Oh no, I don't have any family members who are heroes. My parents run a cafe in the Chiba prefecture."

"Wow, Chiba is pretty far. Wait, if you don't have any family members as pros, how did you get recommended?"

"Oh, about a year ago, I saved a kid from a burning building and cheered him up with my quirk. A pro hero saw that and asked me to train under him. He recommended me and the rest is history."

"Wow, Jin! You're so cool!" She exclaimed, causing me to blush.

"Oh- uh- I wouldn't say that I'm cool."

"I remember now!" Midoriya blurted out, causing me to jump a bit. "A girl who summoned a cloud and used it to bring a kid down from a window from a burning building. I read that article about a year ago. That was you, wasn't it?"

"Well-" I couldn't finish because a bell went off. But it wasn't the one indicating that lunch was over.

"What is that?!"

"Warning. Level three security breach. All students, please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."

"What's a level three security breach?" Iida asked another student.

"It means that someone's managed to get past the school's barriers! This hasn't happened in my three years here," they explained. "We should get going!"

I didn't want to go because of the panic and chaos, but Uraraka dragged me out of worry. Soon enough, we were caught up in the crowd and getting shoved by other students. I was separated from them a few minutes after we were sucked into the chaos. I was smashed into the window to see the press in front of Present Mic and Mr. Aizawa. I heard another person pressed against the glass and looked to see Iida.

"Iida! Look outside! It's the press!"

He looks outside the window and his eyes widen. "We need to calm everyone down!"

"We need to get everyone's attention first! I wish I could help, but I don't have enough room to pull out and solve one of my cubes!"

Iida looks around and looks like he gets an idea. I saw him disappear into the crowd again, when I was shoved against the window again. I feel so useless in this situation. Sir didn't teach me anything about using my quirk in tight spaces.

I then out of nowhere see someone rolling in the air. When they stopped, it turned out to be Iida.

"LISTEN UP EVERYTHING IS OKAY! IT'S JUST THE MEDIA OUTSIDE! THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! EVERYTHING'S FINE! WE'RE UA STUDENTS! WE NEED TO REMAIN CALM AND PROVE THAT WE'RE THE BEST OF THE BEST!"

After he finished his speech, I smiled. With this, he proves that he's mature enough to take the leadership role. Soon enough, the police had arrived and escorted the press off the campus.

"It's time class rep. Let's begin," Yoayurozu started. It was currently the start of class after lunch. Midoriya and Yoayurozu were in the front as class rep and class secretary. Yoayurozu was calm while Midoriya was shaking.

"Um- Okay, so we need to figure out who the other class officers are gonna be," Midoriya announced, still shaking. "But first, there's something that I wanna say. I've thought a lot about this. And I think that Tenya Iida should be class rep! He was able to capture everyone's attention and get us in line. So I believe, that he should be the one leading our class from now on!"

"Yeah, you know what. If Midoriya vouches for him, I'm good," Kirishima agrees. "Plus he was a big help. He totally manned up and took charge, right?"

I didn't bother to listen to the rest of that conversation, I just closed my eyes and smiled contently.

"This is a waste of time," I hear Aizawa's voice call out. "I don't care who the rep is, just hurry up."

Iida then stands up and announces, "if Midoriya is nominating me for this job, then I humbly accept. I pledge to carry out the duties of class rep to the best of my abilities!"

I just chuckled a bit at his answer. He's gonna do great.

Time Skip

It was the next day and we were waiting for Mr. Aizawa to do the announcements.

"Today's training will be a little bit different," he starts. "You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you." Are there three pros because of the break in yesterday?

"Sir, what kind of training is this?" Sero asked.

"Rescue," Mr. Aizawa answers while holding out a card with the word 'Rescue' on it. Is that necessary? "You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that." The others started to chat about how awesome it was and how they would get to show off. Let's hope the simulation training I did with Sir pays off. "Guys, I'm not finished yet. What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes. But keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet, and they might limit your abilities. This special training's gonna take place at an off campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all. Start getting ready." We all started getting up and going towards our costumes. This is going to be good.
