Dr. Choi left the room and walked over to Jay. He wanted to call him to tell him about his brother.

He joined him almost immediately, he was sitting in front of the room.

The doctor realized, he already knew, he had seen everything.

He gently made him stand up and took him to a more secluded room making him sit down and starting to talk to him.

-Unfortunately your brother's condition was too serious since he arrived. We tried to stabilize him, his heart stopped beating. If he had survived he would have suffered some serious damage - he said.

The detective listened without saying a word, without showing any emotion. He was stuck. In his mind only two words were repeated over and over again "HE IS DEAD!".

All of a sudden Jay started feeling upset. Suddenly he had turned pale. He quickly glanced around the room and saw a basket he hastily got up to join it.

Yes he knelt on the ground and began to empty the contents of his stomach in there.

Doctor Choi was there, beside him.

He was close to him, he supported him and tried to calm him down.

Once he finished vomiting he sat down and together with the doctor took deep breaths so difficult to do, but so necessary at that moment to calm down.

- Sorry, I'm sorry - the detective said.

- Don't worry - replied the doctor - you just lost your brother.

And so they just sat there for a while. Ethan would wait until Jay felt a little better or at least able to stand up and take matters into his own hands.

Meanwhile, Dr. Marcel had managed to stop Hayley's bleeding and had his spleen removed.

Despite the great difficulty of the operation and the enormous amount of blood lost, the doctor once again confirmed his fame and had succeeded where many would have failed.

He trained the detective to move her to ICU and went to wash and change and then go talk to Jay.

Once he reached the detective, he found him still sitting on the ground with his colleague.

With a look Ethan made him understand the fate of Will.

Then the boy raised his set eyes and looking at him said in a faint voice:

- How is she? -

- The surgery went well. We struggled to stop the bleeding, but we made it. We also had to remove the spleen. She was badly injured, she was hit by the bullet. For now she is stable, she has been transferred to intensive care, but unfortunately she is not out of danger yet.- Crockett said.

Jay looked at the doctor in thanks with his eyes full of tears and after taking a deep breath he said:

- I can see it? -

And soon after he was accompanied by her, knowing that he could only stay by her side for a few minutes.
