"So, tell me, Kor, how are things with you and, Asami?" Opal asks, as she takes a sip of her margarita, "I feel like I haven't seen you in weeks, things must be going really well!" Korra licks her salted hand and shoots back her double shot of tequila before saying, "It's going great, O! So great in fact that I'm thinking about asking her to go on a double date with you and, Bolin." "What?! I've never met anyone you've dated in all the years I've known you!" Exclaims, Opal in surprise, "Well that's because none of those ass hats were ever worthy of meeting my best friend. That's not the case with, Asami. She's special and I really want you to meet her and see for yourself." Korra smiles with rosy cheeks, "Eeek, I'm so happy for you and I can't wait to meet her!" Opal squeals, "Do you think, Bolin would be down for a double date?" Korra asks, "Yeah, I don't see why not. We'll ask him when he gets here!"
Moments later Korra and Opal spot, Bolin entering the bar and wave him over, "Hey, Opal! Hey, Korra! How are my two favorite ladies doin?" He shouts over the music, "We're great, sweetie how are you?" Opal asks after greeting him with a sweet kiss, "I'm awesome! Looks like I need to catch up with you guys though!" Bolin chuckles, looking at the 2 empty glasses on the table. "How about I go to the bar and order us some drinks?" "Thanks, Bolin, that would be great, the waiter doesn't come around very often…" Korra complains, pouting at her empty glass. "You've got it! Margarita for my sweet, obviously, what are you sippin on, Kor?" Bolin asks, "Tequila, but I'll take a margarita too please, I need to pace myself. Thanks, Bolin!"
Bolin returns to the table, passing out drinks when he says, "So, Korra, Opal tells me you've been seeing someone. How's that going?" He asks, "Yeah I have and it's been going really great. I like her a lot. I was actually going to ask you a favor in regards to that." Korra says before taking a sip of her margarita, Bolin takes a swig of his beer and throws his arms up in the air, "That's great! I'm really happy for you! What's the favor, you name it." Korra blushes and says, "I really want, Asami to meet you both, you guys are my closest friends and for the first time I really feel like this could be going somewhere so, I wanted to ask if you'd be interested in a double date." "Hell, yeah I would! I want to meet this special lady." Bolin says, with a big smile, "Yay! Thank you so much guys. It really means a lot." Korra proclaims. They all raise their glasses, clink them together, and each take a big swig of their drinks. Korra's phone begins to buzz on the table, "Speaking of the devil, hold on guys, it's too loud out here, I'm going to take this in the bathroom." Korra speeds to the restroom so she doesn't miss, Asami's call, "Hey, beautiful!" She answers, "Hey! Where are you, it's so loud." Asami, asks, trying to talk over the music, "Yeah I know right… I'm out with Opal and Bolin. How are you?" Korra asks, "I'm okay, about to get off work, are we still good for dinner tonight?" "Yeah, of course, my place at 9, right?" Korra says, reassuringly, "Okay good, I can't wait to see you." Asami says, "I can't wait to see you, either." Korra agrees with a grin.
"Hey, cutie, I missed you!" Asami greets, Korra with hugs and kisses when she opens the door to her apartment. Korra embraces, Asami in her arms before saying, "I missed you too, beautiful! How was your day?" Korra ushers, Asami in and starts pouring her a glass of white wine, "Ugh meeting after meeting. I'm so tired of putting up a professional demeanor, it's exhausting." Korra brings, Asami her wine and pecks her on the cheek, "No need for that when you're with me. Kick back and relax, we can just order in and watch our show." Korra says with a smile, "That sounds perfect. Let me go get my bag, this time I brought my favorite Pajamas!" Asami shouts with enthusiasm, "Okay, hurry back, I'll call the Chinese restaurant and place our order!" Calls out, Korra as, Asami races to her car.
After, Korra orders their food and, Asami returns with her overnight bag, Korra begins to get nervous. She is excited about asking, Asami to meet her friends, but at the same time, was it too soon? They've been dating a month now, but she didn't really understand dating protocol. What if asking her scares, her away? "You okay, Korra?" Asami asks, "Uh, yeah, I'm okay, just thinking is all…" Korra can't help but turn beat red, "Thinking about what?" Asami asks again, "Oh it can wait til later, let's get in our jammies before the food gets here!" Korra says excitedly. Asami places her wine glass on, Korra's countertop and follows, Korra into her room to get changed. Korra is rustling through her dresser drawers trying to find something to wear, while, Asami effortlessly slips into her nighty. "I think I found something, finally." Korra says out load to herself. When she turns around, she finds a beautiful, Asami dressed in a nearly transparent, blood-red laced nightgown that barley reached her knees and made every feature of hers pop. Korra's jaw drops, "Those are your favorite jammies?" Korra asks, "Yeah! Is that okay?" Korra's nearly drooling, "Uh yeah it's okay. You look so…sexy." Asami smiles and gives, Korra a kiss, "Thank you, gorgeous." *KNOCK KNOCK* Korra and Asami beam at each other and say, "Food!" in unison before running for the door.
"Oh my god, I must have either been starving or that was the best Chinese food I've ever had! I'm stuffed." Asami says while she rubs her satisfied tummy, "Same here, this place is definitely my new favorite. I can't believe I've never ordered from there before!" Korra agrees with a smile, "So, Korra, what was it that had you all flustered earlier?" Asami asks, "Oh you remember that huh?" Korra chuckles nervously, "I uh, actually wanted to ask you something…" "Okay, well ask, I'm dying over here!" Asami begs, "Okay, okay! I wanted to ask if you would be interested in going on a double date with, Opal and Bolin." Korra says with rosy cheeks, "Opal? You're best friend? Of course, I'd love to meet her and go on a double date!" Asami exclaims, "Why were you so nervous to ask me?" She asks curiously, "Well, believe it or not, I've never introduced anyone I've dated to, Opal. I never thought they were worth meeting my best friend over, but with you, I don't feel that way. I think you're absolutely amazing and I really want, Opal to meet you so she can see for herself." Korra explains, "Wow, Korra, you've really never wanted anyone to meet her until me?" Asami asks in surprise, "No, I haven't. No one has been worth it, until now." Korra admits while staring, Asami in the eyes. Asami smiles and leans in to kiss, Korra. When she pulls away, she looks, Korra in the eyes and says, "I feel honored and would absolutely love to meet the both of them. I think you're amazing and can't wait to meet the people you call your friends."
