❝Anxious❞

"Ughh~~ Yaoyorozu, what did you put in that tea this morning? After I had drank it, I felt worse than I do during our study sessions..." Jirou, pressing her body forth against the surface of her desk with her arms extended out the front, groaned in agony. It has been an entire day, and yet it was odd how she still felt an underlying nausea.

Yaoyorozu's left hand rested underneath her elbow as she caressed her chin in deep contemplation, barely able to keep herself from getting anxious. She had a guess of why Jirou felt worse than usual, but it wasn't definite. "Hm... I suppose it could the fermentation process, resulting in a considerable number of tannins in the tea. It's a chemical compound that can irritate digestive tissues in certain individuals."

Or it could just be laxatives.

The females in class 1-A were huddled between Kaminari's desk and Ashido's, gazing at Yaoyorozu, stupefied by her knowledge on such a trivial thing. "It sounds like you'll be just fine!" Oka beamed with a joyous smile, until the door skimmed against its railing.

Everyone knew it, but they kept quiet...

Yaoyorozu wasn't the only one who makes the morning tea. . .

The Next Day, Before the Accident...

( 2:41 PM)

"I, I don't feel too good about this, guys..."

"Oh, c'mon! Don't be a such stick in the mud."

"It never hurts to try, right?"

Whether those were words of advice or derogatory teases was not of Oka's concern. She was too focused on this. They didn't expect her to actuallygo through with this, did they?

Uraraka, Kaminari, and Aoyama stood outside the tiny space of a box Oka was trapped in. They wouldn't let her come out until she did as she was told.

Midoriya joined the occasion, along with his two other friends: Kirishima and Bakugou. Though, to say the least, they are Yaoyorozu's replacements. She couldn't attend the current event since she, oddly, began feeling as sick as Jirou.

Todoroki told Uraraka no boys. But strangely, there were no females available in class 1-A… So, she had no other choice. Todoroki couldn't blame anyone other than himself; after all, it was his idea.

Over the past few days, the male had noticed Oka had been looking stressed and overwhelmed by the burden of helping every student with their diverse abilities. Perhaps seeing each of them disappear was taking a toll on her, too. Which is why he and Uraraka arranged a "girls' day out", yet it was nothing short of boys.

"I think keeping her in there works just fine. No matter what she puts on, that won't take away from how ugly she looks." Bakugou's eyes were averted away as he needlessly uttered that insult, folding one arm over the other.

"Don't be like that, Bakugou! I think she looks manly as she is now." Kirishima hadn't resisted the urge to add on, but to Oka's dismay, it wasn't a compliment she really hoped for. "Uh, I don't think either of those helped..." Midoriya told the two.

By doing so, however, started an uproar. Bakugou was already raring to fight, in which Kirishima was pinned in between to keep him from spilling Midoriya's blood. "Guys, cut it out!" Kaminari firstly demanded. "Yeah, we're in public!"

The inferno that raged inside her heart started involuntarily, fueling her next action: dragging the curtain. His skidding against the railing atop diverted everyone's attention, including the hotheaded blond's.

"Just stop arguing for a second! I'm over all this superior-inferior ludacris!" Todoroki may have still had her on edge... Maybe she was still concerned for his well-being after he refused to join the group in their outing.

He said he had something else to tend to, she hoped he wasn't lying.

Everyone ceased movement, staring at the female who had finally plucked the courage to disclose her figure. Even Bakugou lost his words, ones that seemed to leave him completely, as he stared at Oka in astonishment.

Where are they, exactly?

A shopping mall in Musutafu, home to Yuunei, tucked away in a clothing shop and hidden from the outside world. The boys insisted on looking at Hero Magazines, but Uraraka wanted to spend the rest of the day fiddling with shirts and pretty dresses...Oka was neutral, on the contrary.

"..."

The silence was deafening.

"What?!" Oka, while fumes steamed from atop of head, raised her voice in question. It took a few more seconds for someone to mumble a response.

"Well...it's just that..." Kaminari began. She seemed apprehensive about something, but what? "Yeah, it's..." Kirishima added.

This was becoming a drag, kind of like a choreーjust to know what the heck was roaming about in those six's heads. Until finally Midoriya parted his lips, seemingly reluctantly, as a bead of sweat trickled down his cheek. "No one has the guts to yell at Bakugou, not even Kirishima."

That is what they were concerned about? At least, that pertained to the two boys; Uraraka, on the other hand, was gazing at her with eyes shimmering with a light blinding to the naked eye. Then, she beamed a smile. "That dress looks so cute on you, Oka!"

The males: mortified; the female: excited and paid no mind to the raging blond that silenced. Kirishima was of no consolation to him despite his efforts. A shadow cast over Bakugou's eyes and spiky fringes, gazing downwards.

He was a ticking bomb before, but now...he's reached the countdown.

Meanwhile, Todoroki's plans hadn't gone overlooked by himself. Iida had been beside him, assisting with the packages handed to them by the school administration.

It was odd to see the campus so vacant and empty, not even teachers were present.

"Thanks for the help, Todoroki. I could use all I can get", said the blue-haired male and he treaded. It was nothing but a nerving quietude up until that moment. "It's not a problem. I've been meaning to discuss something with you, actually, so it works out for the both of us."

Iida, unknowingly, twitched his brow prior to raising it. "If that's the case, what is it you wanted to ask?"

"You want to be a hero…we all do. But have you told yourself that whatever you are doing, whether it's acceptable or sinister, is a necessary step to becoming a hero?" Todoroki had already been eyeing him from the beginning, though it came to much of a surprise to see him gazing after Iida had faced him, too. His current expression was like his other ones: incoherent. However, for some reason, Iida felt threatened. It had caused an abrupt shift in his comfortability, which then made him contemplate on leaving earlier than expected… the pressure was unbearable.

"Well, yes. I believe that applies to anything in my opinion."

The two had finally neared their destination: the storage room. It was full yet empty, and alarmingly suffocating. Iida wanted to get out, quick. "I was told to leave them here. Apparently, these are new equipment used to help us with our training. Things like targets and stop watches", Iida informed Todoroki as he crouched, setting down his box. He expected his friend to do the same, yet the door closed instead…

"Iida", he started. "Since you understand…no hard feelings."
