The Bagges and Spinel arrived at the Nowhere Movie Theater at roughly around noon. They made it just in time, as Spinel was the last eligible participant for the contest. There were 3 judges who sat in the front, while the Bagge family sat in the next aisle of seats. Spinel briefly prepped behind the curtain before taking deep breaths. She then stepped out on stage and saw both the judges and the Bagges waiting for her. Courage gave her a thumbs up for support. She cleared her throat before speaking, to ease her nerves.

"Howdy!", Spinel chuckled, "My name is Spinel. Today I am going to performing a classic comedy routine for y'all! But first, I would like to invite a good friend up stage. Eustace Bagge, come on up!" Eustace was surprised, but Muriel and Courage clapped for him.

"What?", Eustace asked before relenting, "Alright! I'm coming up!" Eustace stepped onto stage as well, as the judges looked on in confusion.

"So, good sir!", Spinel grinned, "You having a good day?!"

"I guess", Eustace shrugged.

"You wanna meet new people?", Spinel asked.

"Not even a little!", Eustace snapped.

"What if I gave ya $100 per person?", Spinel smiled.

"Where do I sign?!", Eustace smiled.

"Okay, let me tell ya the rules", Spinel explained, "There are three VIPs in this auditorium. I'll tell you where they are. WHO's in the back, WHAT's in the middle and I DON'T KNOW is down in front! Ya got that?"

"Alright, so tell me!", Eustace asked. The judges' eyes widened. Muriel began to giggle, for she knew what was coming next.

"Excuse me?", Spinel asked.

"The man in the back?", Eustace growled, "Tell me the name!"

"I told you!", Spinel grinned, "WHO's in the back!"

"How am I supposed to know?!", Eustace barked as the judges began to chuckle, "What's the man's name?"

"No, WHAT's in the middle!", Spinel explained.

"I'm not asking you who's in the middle!", Eustace yelled.

"WHO's in the back!", Spinel smiled.

"I don't know!", Eustace sighed.

"Down in front!", Spinel yelled. Muriel and the judges were now laughing out loud, and even Courage was chuckling. Eustace then realized what the comedy act was, and decided to play along.

"I didn't ask you about the guy in front!", Eustace spat.

"You said his name!", Spinel explained.

"Okay, let's try again!", Eustace sighed, "Who is the guy in the front?"

"No, WHO's in the back!", Spinel shouted.

"I didn't ask ya what's the guy in the back!", Eustace retorted.

"WHAT's in the middle!"

"I don't know!", Eustace shrugged.

"Down in front!", Spinel and Eustace both yelled. Muriel and the judges were now laughing even louder, and now Courage was laughout out loud. Eustace was now beginning to smile a little.

"Let's run this one more time!", Eustace explained, "WHO's the back? WHAT's in the middle? And I DON'T KNOW is down in front?"

"Correct!", Spinel grinned.

"And I get $100 per new person I meet?", Eustace asked.

"Yep!", Spinel nodded.

"And you better give it to me too!", Eustace growled before giving up, "Oh who am I kidding? I DON'T CARE ANYMORE! You heard me! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!"

"Aw, that's my daddy's name!", Spinel cooed. Eustace briefly fumed, but then he started to laugh with the others. And then Spinel joined him in laughing. Muriel was in tears, both due to the comedy, and Eustace and Spinel having a good time.

"It warms me heart to see those two getting along!', Muriel cried. Eustace happily walked back to his seat, where he was hugged by Muriel. Spinel briefly composed herself, before pulling the microphone stand closer to her.

"And now", Spinel began, "I'm gonna be doing a special musical number. Y'all know that about survival and what not. This one is dedicated to my former best friend: Pink Diamond. I consider it a parting gift to Pink." Courage pulled the cassette player out of his pocket and begun to play the instrumental to "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. The lights then dimmed, until the spotlight was entirely on Spinel. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and began to sing.

"At first I was afraid, I was petrified!

Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side!

But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong!

And I grew strong!

And I learned how to get along!"

The judges were getting intrigued, while the Bagges looked on with encouragement.

"And so I'm back,

From outer space!

I blindly dropped by to take my wrath on your new precious playing palace!

I should have ran when I had the chance, I should have etched you from my memory!

If I'd known for just one second you'd be back to bother me!"

The judges were beginning to vibe with the song, and so were the Bagges.

"Go on now, go, walk out the door!

Just turn around now,

'Cause I don't love you anymore!

Weren't you the one who tried to leave me with a lie?

You think I'd crumble?

You think I'd lay down and die?

Oh no, not I, I will survive!

Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive!

I've got all my life to live,

And I've got all my love to give and I'll survive!

I will survive!

I will survive!"

The Bagges cheered at this, and the judges briefly clapped.

"It took all the strength I had not to fall apart!

I didn't want to mend the pieces of my broken heart!

And I spent oh-so many nights just feeling sorry for myself!

I used to cry,

But now I hold my head up high and you see me,

Somebody new!

I'm not that chained-up little Gem still in love with you!

And so you felt like dropping in and just expect me to be free!

Well, now I'm saving all my lovin' for someone who's loving me!"

Everyone was now fully immersed in the song.

Yeah!

Go on now, go, walk out the door!

As soon as the song finished, tears fell down Spinel's eyes. But she was happy. Everyone rose from their seats in applause. Spinel blushed and beamed with pride. The judges then briefly discussed with each other, before turning back to Spinel. The middle judge pulled out the 1st place trophy and the bag with the $500,000, while the two other judges continued to clap. Spinel covered her mouth in astonishment, and the Bagges rushed onto the stage to congratulate her with a big hug. They then made their way to the judges and graciously took the prizes. The judges each shook Spinel's hand with enthusiasm, before allowing her and the Bagges to exit out of the theater.

"Ya did it, Spinel!", Muriel cried, "You've become a star! I knew you could do it!" Courage nodded in affirmation while he hugged Spinel. This caused Spinel to blush even more.

"Thank you guys!", Spinel blushed, "I know we've definitely had some pretty rough moments, but I think it was all worth it in the end

"Ah, don't sweat it", Eustace smiled as he held onto the money bag, "You can save all of that praise for when the Diamonds come back." The area around began to darken, which made them to look up to see the Diamond's ship approaching them.

"Speaking of which", Muriel observed. The ship was moving closer towards them.

"They're gonna land in town?!", Eustace exclaimed.

"Well, they do always wanna perform a great entrance!", Spinel chuckled. Courage whined as the ship got closer. The ship landed in the middle of the street, but there wasn't any cars passing by anyway. Everyone else ran from the ship, but Spinel and the Bagges patiently waited for the Diamonds. The bubble then descended down from the ship and landed in front of them. The bubble dissipated to reveal the 3 Diamonds.

"Greetings!", White Diamond exclaimed, "The renovations are now complete and we see that you all had have a great time! That trophy simply looks marvelous, darling!"

"Thanks, White", Spinel blushed, "I just won this in a contest for the best actress in town. And look, I got all of these cute bandanas!"

"They look wonderful, Spinel!", Blue Diamond smiled, "You've all been on our minds for quite some time!"

"Indeed!", Yellow Diamond huffed as she reached for her shoulder and picked up the wheelbarrow with the now-upgraded Computer, "We asked this machine a few questions, and he told us everything he knew. I was amazed he had such knowledge, but I noticed that it was quite outdated. So I gave him some well-needed upgrades."

"Oh, I feel like a brand new computer!", the computer expressed, "Homeworld is a paradise! Do I really have to come back to these moronic life-forms?" Yellow Diamond rolled her eyes and lowered the wheelbarrow right next to Courage, who wasn't thrilled to see the computer either.

"He also told us the whole truth about the ambush plan", Yellow Diamond snarled, "Apparently, the farmer was the one who sent that message. Wanting to poof us and sell us for the highest bidder! Needless to say, we are not thrilled at this relevation!" Muriel gasped at this while Courage sadly looked at the ground, not being surprised by it all. But instead of pleading, Eustace sadly sighed before dropping to his knees.

"Great Diamonds", Eustace sighed, "I was nothing but a lousy man. Until recently, I only cared about myself. I had no clue of the hardships that Spinel faced before she got to Earth. If you wanna squish me, then that's fine. Just please spare Muriel. And the dog." Everyone else was astonished by this display of humility, but not Spinel. This gave her confirmation that Eustace really could change. She stepped next to Eustace and helped back on his feet.

"Please, Diamonds", Spinel pleaded, "Take pity on Eustace. He's just a mean man who has a horrible mommy. I know what he did was wrong, but he has shown he is capable of change. He saved my life last night from some really bad guys! Please, give him another chance!" Muriel and Courage smiled at Spinel's sticking up for her former enemy. Yellow Diamond stared at them for a brief moment, and then began to laugh. White Diamond and Blue Diamond also chuckled, while the others looked at them with confusion.

"Oh, calm down!", Yellow Diamond chuckled, "I was just messing with him! Of course we know he saved your life. We saw the whole thing!"

"You did?!", Muriel asked in astonishment.

"Of course!", White Diamond smiled, "While the renovations were being completed, we observed everything you did from here. I must say, you all have put on quite a show!"

"You saw everything?", Spinel chuckled nervously.

"Don't worry, Spinel", Blue Diamond soothed, "You know we're certainly no strangers to family drama. But it is lovely that you all managed to resolve it peacefully." Courage and Eustace breathed a sigh of relief, while Muriel and Spinel blushed.

"I'm just so glad that we can finally get along for a change!", Muriel smiled, "But I have to ask: what was that surprise that y'all planned for Spinel?"

"Of course!", White Diamond said as she picked up a Diamond Communicator from her shoulder and held it in her hand, "Feast your eyes!" The communicator then projected a white screen and there was a white Gem on the other side. She looked very similar to Spinel but she had a diamond gemstone on her chest and there was a diamond shape protuding from the back of her head. She emotionlessly looked at the screen and respectfully acknowledged White Diamond.

"Greetings, my Diamond", White Spinel droned, "You coming back already with my sister?'

"Is that another Spinel?", Spinel asked in awe.

"And she's white!", Muriel exclaimed.

"Oh, she's not the only one!", White Diamond smiled before turning to White Spinel, "Sweetie, can you please turn it so we can see your sisters?"

"Yes, my Diamond", White Spinel bowed. She turned the communicator over to the royal court, which was currently being flooded with Spinels. They were almost identical to how Spinel used to look like, but they came in a variety of colors. Most were pink, some were red and a few were actually purple. But there were two other Spinels that stood out. One was blue and looked gloomy, with a spade gemstone on her chest and two spades pointing downwards from the back of her head. And one was yellow and looked mischevious, with a club gemstone on her chest and two clubs on top of her head.

"We noticed how lonely you tend to feel sometimes", Blue Diamond explained, "So we made 999 new Spinels, including a special Spinel for each of us 3 Diamonds. And you, Spinel, are their big sister!"

"I'm a big sister?", Spinel teared up. Spinel began to cry out of pure joy. Courage ran over to her and hugged to comfort her.

"Oh, they're so adorable!", Muriel cooed, "Can we invite them all over?!"

"No!", Eustace barked, "I am not letting in hundreds of them here! One is more than enough!" Eustace then began to cry and Muriel comforted him as well. The Diamonds laughed hysterically as the screen faded to black.
