Into the hole, through the door, and we were back at the house.

"Okay, so what is it you wanted to tell us?" asked Vine.

I sighed, holding the necklace to my chest. "So, I had a dream last night."

Vine's face fell. "Is that it?"

"Well, you didn't give me a chance to explain what happened in the dream."

Skid stared at me, his face alight with anticipation. "Go on, then! The conviction in your voice back at the crater really shook me."

"Okay. Well, there was this voice that was telling me to open my eyes. When I did, I was in space! I could see a planet real close, too!"

"Well that's certainly interesting," Vine interrupted. "But can we get to the part where this dream is actually important?"

"I'm getting there, just wait a second," I retorted. "When I looked for who spoke to me, I saw no one. To the voice, its identity wasn't important. It then told me that I was here for a reason, that it had sent me here itself!"

Vine looked surprised. "That... that does sound important!"

"There's more. The voice told me that I'm here to stop the source of the negativity that's corrupting this world's Pokemon!"

Vine and Skid looked stunned.

"A- Are you serious?!" Skid stammered. "If you could actually stop the negativity, that'd be the best thing ever!"

Vine fixed me with a serious stare. "Did you learn anything else?"

My eyes drifted down to my feet. "Unfortunately, no. I was woken up before I could get any more information."

I looked over to Ivy, whose face was wrought with guilt. "Don't worry, Ivy. I'm sure I'll get more information when I get back to sleep."

Ivy's eyes met mine. "What makes you think that?"

"Well, right before I woke up fully, the voice told me that everything would be explained eventually."

"I hope you're right," said Skid. "If and when you do get all the information you need, I'll help in any way I can. I've wanted this negativity gone for as long as it's been around, and if you can get rid of it... I don't think I'd ever be able to thank you properly."

"But what if it's just a regular dream?" Vine interjected. "It does seem really important, but what if your head is just screwing with you?"

"I feel like I'd know that, but you may have a point," I replied. "However, I also feel like this necklace has something to do with the situation as well. It just feels... important."

Vine's gaze shot to the necklace. "I completely forgot about that!"

Skid rolled his eyes. "Really? Because that's only the entire reason we went back to the crater."

Vine looked sheepish. "Not necessarily! We only went back to look for something that might have explained why Xylus came here! Nobody expected to find that necklace specifically!"

Skid nodded. "I guess that's true." He looked over to me and extended a paw. "Can I see that necklace, actually? I doubt I'd be able to glean any more info than you have, but I'd like to look over it anyways."

"Sure." I handed over the necklace.

"Whoa, it's warm!" Skid remarked. "I've never felt this kind of warmth before!"

"Isn't all warmth the same?" I asked.

"No, not at all. Think about it, the warmth you feel from being in the sun is not the same as the warmth you feel from getting a hug from someone. The sensations are completely different!"

"Hm. I guess that makes sense."

Skid handed the necklace back to me. "If you dream again tonight, ask the voice about this necklace. It likely knows much more about it than we do."

"Will do. Come to think of it, it's still pretty early in the morning. What are we gonna do to pass the time?"

Skid grinned. "I've got an idea. Come back outside with me, it's time you learned how to battle."
