"ready" said Nova narrowing his eyes
"As ready as I'll ever be" said Jushtin in a serious tone
Then they looked at the determined crowd behind them and nodded , the crowd nodded back
The door of the room was slowly being opened
And when it fully opened
"SURPRISE!" yelled everyone
The got a smile on the face of who opened the room , not a scare or anything , the person was Eclipsa butterfly
"Happy birthday Eclipsa!" Yelled the crowd cheerfully
And the party started

"So , Eclipsa" said Jushtin smiling "I know you loved my last gift for you, you wear it all the time of course"
"Well , it does fit quite nicely" said Eclipsa touching the hat on her head
"Yes , and today's gift is not a single bit less incredible" said Jushtin happily "I got you a the most beautiful guitar in all of mewni!"
Then Jushtin gave Eclipsa the most fancy Guitar out there
"Oh come on! Why does she always get the good gifts from you?" said Nova frowning
"Hey! I pour my heart equally into your gifts , I don't give favofitism at all" said Jushtin proudly
"You gave me a math book last year" said Nova frowning
"Hey! Math is great! And it made you better at math" said Jushtin proudly "it was a great birthday gift"
"We had to burn it because it tried to physically force me to learn math" said Nova angrily
"Ok ,maybe that was a mistake on my part" said Jushtin with an embarrassed smile "but tomorrow's gift will be different because it'll make you look good on the battlefield...hero of light"
"DO NOT USE THAT TITLE!" Yelled Nova angrily
"Come on Nova , it's not that bad" said Eclipsa trying not to laugh
"Yeah , you already a fanclub" said Jushtin trying not to laugh
Nova flushed in embarrassment
"I protected mewni against many raids , through many battles and my reward is an embarrassing title" said Nova frowning as he blushed in embarrassment "so please stop calling me that"
"Oh but it's my birthday not yours , I get what I want today , and I want my adorable little twin brother to embrace his heroic identity" said Eclipsa on the verge of laughter
"Why did I have to be born AFTER MIDNIGHT , we're just a few minutes apart in age" Said Nova frowning angrily
"Aww , is my sweet little brother grumpy?" Asked Eclipsa teasingly
"Just take your gift" said Nova frowning handing Eclipsa two dark purple gem earrings that were in the shape of spades like her cheeks "I cut the gems myself"
Eclipsa instantly put them on happily
"Ahh , I see you're already know how to make a lady happy , I wouldn't past you to have a girlfriend already" said Jushtin nonchalantly only to be met with silence from the twins who were recalling the memories from the day Eclipsa and Nova went with their dates for the first time
""No"" said Nova and Eclipsa in union with an overly serious tone
"Ok?" Said Jushtin awkwardly
Then a servant entered the room and whispered something into Jushtin's ear
"Sorry you two , I have some business I have to attend to" said Jushtin trying to hide some happiness
"What kind of business?" Asked Eclipsa curiously
"I'm gonna be a dad!" Said Jushtin happily
"Really?" Asked Nova in confusion
"Yes! But I have to take my wife back to the spiderbite kingdom , I promised her I'd do so , and she needs to be as calm as possible now that a child is in her" said Jushtin happily
"Well , I guess with dimensio_" said Nova but Jushtin cut him off
"Yeah , I can't go with scissors , my wife's body doesn't deal well with the portal thing" said Jushtin a bit embarrassed "BUT , I will be able to make it to your birthday party tomorrow , but I'll have to head out now, so... sorry"
""You can go"" said Nova and Eclipsa in union
"Again! Sorry!" Said Jushtin as he left "also , I left Nova's gift here , don't let him touch it until tomorrow!"
"*Sigh* doesn't it feel like no one we know can make it to our b-day parties anymore" said Nova tiredly
"I know" said Eclipsa sadly "we don't even know these people who are "celebrating my birthday""
"Hey! I'm celebrating and you know me" said Glossaryck cheerfully as he ate some creamed corn
"At least you're not eating corn chips?" Asked Nova narrowing his eyes
"We had a deal sevens and I fuffiled my part ,not my fault that all you got from that healing spell was an embarrassing nickname" said Glossaryck smiling "sir hero"
Nova blushed in embarrassment as he frowned as much as his body would allow
Glossaryck laughed as he left
"Why does everyone like to make fun of that nickname!" Said Nova angrily
"Because you're adorable when you're angry" said Eclipsa giggling
This made Nova even angrier making Eclipsa laugh because of it
"I don't how sometimes you can make people shiver in fear with just a glare and some other times you look adorable when you're angry" said Eclipsa stopping her laughter
"I'm just gonna leave" said Nova angrily "see you tomorrow on MY birthday"
"Aww , the little her_" said Eclipsa teasingly but Nova cut her off
"NOPE! Can't hear you!" Said Nova covering his ears as he left
"You're gonna miss on the cake!" Said Eclipsa cheerfully
"I'll have a slice tomorrow!" Yelled Nova grumpily

"So my birthday party is just yours recycled?" Asked Nova as he looked at the party "and are there more people we don't know?"
"Hey , mine was never that original either" said Eclipsa shrugging "and those are your fanclub members"
"...we need friends" said Nova in a bored tone "I wish uncle Jushtin was here , he's pretty la_"
"Aaaah!" A wounded knight entered the room yelling
"Jeez , can you stop yelling!" Said Nova angrily
"Prince Jushtin! He...he was killed!" Said the warrior
Everyone was shocked to hear that
"What happened?!" Asked Nova angrily
"We were ambushed on our way to the spiderbite kingdom by a horde of monsters , we were overrun! I was barely able to make it out" said the warrior panting
"What?" said Nova in shock "this is s-some sort of joke right?"
He was met with silence
"Right?!" Nova yelled tearing up
Eclipsa had a similar expression on her face
"It's true , we couldn't save him or his wife" said the warrior showing them a piece of Jushtin's clothes
some tears fell from Nova's eyes as he stood confirmed that these were Jushtin's clothes
Nova then looked at the warrior for a few seconds before giving him the coldest glare possible "and you ran away?!"
"Uh...sir! please understand! There were just too many , we_" said the warrior but stopped
His head fell on the floor a few seconds later
Nova then looked at the crowd watching a head on the ground rolling
"Leave!" Said Nova with a cold glare
And they all left in a hurry
And Nova stayed in the room crying with his sister

Nova's birthday quickly turned into a funeral
Solaria got the news and replied she'd arrive the moment she gets a chance
Nobody criticized Nova for killing the knight
Nova didn't feel even tinge of guilt from killing the knight , he killed many monsters and those were the same as mewmans to him
He really just wanted to find the ones who did this

"Nova, where are you going?" Asked Eclipsa with concern "in the middle of night? With your sword?"
"I just... wanted to find a good place to eat this cake" said Nova smiling holding a basket
"Well... before you go" said Eclipsa pulling out a gift box "this was uncle Jushtin's gift , I'm sure he'd like you to have it right now"
Nova then took the box and opened it , and inside was
A cape , a purplish red cape with a white fur collar
Next to it was a small letter
"To the little hero of light" with a winky face
Nova took it with him in the basket smiling
Then he disappeared into the night under a black cloak

"Hey! What's a kid like you doing here?" Asked a monster "eh just scram , it'd leave a bad taste in my mouth to kill a kid even if they're mewman"
Nova was standing if front of the monster camp , all of the monsters' eyes were on him
"A special carriage should've passed by here a day or two ago , I really need to know where it went , could you please point me there?" Asked Nova *nicely*
"Oh! You mean THIS carriage" said another monster pointing at a destroyed carriage
It was a butterfly family carriage
"Yes , I believe it is" said Nova coldly
"Hah! This was som_" said the monster but stopped
His his was cut cleanly off by Nova's sword as it glowed white
All of the monsters took a fighting stance , clearly on guard
"I know it's cliche but" said Nova coldly "shall we begin?"
And immediately the monster camp turned into a battlefield , or execution grounds
All the monsters were killed except a random septarasis who ran away
And Nova ate his cake on top of their corpses as he remembered something from the show he saw
Something his sister said in the show
"I lost my mother too when I was not much older than you"
He wasn't going to let Solaria die, but he couldn't just kill everyone trying to kill her, Solaria has to step off the battlefield
And remembering the septarasis that ran away , he need to find a way to kill creatures like him , Eclipsa was going to make a spell to do that but it wasn't the most reliable
He wiped the blood off of his face and took off his bloodied cloak , throwing it away
Then he wore the cape he got from Jushtin and wore as much as Eclipsa wore her hat
And when Solaria returned , she told her daughter about a spell that can be used to make sure something like this never happens again
The total annihilation spell
