Here's chapter five and this one is a bit more parody like than the rest of the chapters that I've done. If you like this chapter or this story, then follow. Trooper's Guide Through Life: Chapter Five- "The Pride Troopers Show?!"
Pride Trooper's Headquarters, Top's Office (The Next Day)
Top: (Sees a producer in front of his desk) So...you must be...uh…
Gale: Gale Hailstorm! I'm the producer to many singers, dancers, and most of all- TV shows! I'm here to give you the most latest idea that I've ever thought about! Wanna hear it?
Top: (Raises his eyebrow) I'm not a TV person. I know how it feels like to be on TV, due to the numerous interviews that one of the Pride Troopers go on.
Gale: That's perfect! Now for this idea,...I would like to record your team's actions within this headquarters! This will be a reality show, where we show the planet the real actions of their superheroes of the universe!
Top: (Eyes widen) A reality show?
Gale: Sure did! Since you have enough money for me to help with this project, all you have to do is sign this contract right here, saying that we have permission to go into the headquarters and record everyone's day to day lives. Do we have a deal?
Top: (This could be a big break from all of this work. Plus, Jiren needs the social improvement in those interviews.) (Grabs the contract) You have a deal, Gale. (Signs the contract)
Gale: (Takes the contract and walks to the door) Thanks, leader of the Pride Troopers. You won't be disappointed in what we have in-stored for your team! (Leaves the room, makes a sinister smile, and softly laughs) (I'll show you all to what kind of heroes you really are! Hahahaha!)
The Next Day…
(Playing "The Pride Troopers Show's Theme song/*insert favorite song here)
On this show, we will be interview with a lot of Pride Troopers, seeing if they're willing to spill the beans of their past! For today's interview, we have the super speed warrior, Dyspo with the tiny spinning warrior, Zoiray! Over the past twenty four hours from yesterday, we recorded the movements, behaviors, words, and actions of each Pride Trooper, ask them some questions, and show them the video feed that we received from the recording. I'm your reporter, Gale Hailstorm and here we go!
Gale: (Looks at Dypso and Zoiray) I'm here with two of the most unique members of the elite group. Let's start our conversation with the super speed warrior himself. (Looks at Dyspo) Dyspo? Who encouraged you to become a Pride Trooper in the first place?
Dyspo: Ahem! My mother was one of the Pride Troopers a long time ago. She retired, after injuring her leg in battle, wanting me to take her place. She's always a good role model for me. (Smiles)
Gale: Uh-huh! And about your father?
Dyspo: Oh!...Uh...h-he's a good man of his word. He was a fighter at the time of his youth, before he met Mom. Yep! Nothing bad about him! Hehehe!
Gale: Oh really? Because we did a full background on each and every member of the group and we found something interesting about your father. It says that your father was an ex con man, before he retired for the better. Your mother was the one to bring down your father's company of selling drugs. (Smiles)
Dyspo: (Makes a shocking expression) H-How!? No one knows of this, but my parents and me!
Gale: AND...you didn't tell your members that your sister is actually your half sister. Your mother had an affair with one of the gang members, thus getting pregnant with your sister. She never ever told you this, until you had to figure it out yourself. Does that shock you and your partner? (Sees Zoiray's mouth open)
Zoiray: What the hell, Dyspo!? You never told anyone that your father was an ex con man!?
Dyspo: (Looks away) I-I thought that I wouldn't get accepted to the team, if I had that information. (Angrily looks at Gale) Now you happy!? I'm leaving! (Walks from the stage)
Gale: So...Zoiray? How did you get into the group? (Smiles)
This keeps going for about thirty minutes. Gale is really stabbing deep into each member's past that were never revealed. In Zoiray's case, he knew that his uncle was a bad person, yet he was the one to release him early, before his execution. This made him wonder why he didn't say this to him in the first place. "I wanted my uncle to take care of the cousins that I have. I did know that he's a drug dealer, but I had no choice. I had to keep this between him and myself! Now...everyone knows what I've done!" said Zoiray as he leaves the stage in tears. Gale laughs things off, as if he likes enjoying the suffering of other's past being revealed to a live audience. The rest of the Pride Troopers are now in the café area, eating their lunches. Gale comes into the area, from the secret entrance. He tells the members to stop what they are eating, turn to face him, and see what he has for him. "I would like to show you a special video that might surprise you all!" said Gale as he shows a big white screen behind him. Everyone, including the elite members are watching a video being loaded. Once the video is finished loading, it begins. The video shows Vuon in his bathroom, plucking his eyelashes. He does this before going to bed. He later hums to one of the top 100 songs on Planet Netfiss (*Insert another favorite song here). Vuon blushes hard, looks away, while everyone laughs at what they're watching. Gale laughs softly, knowing that this show is going to be a hit! After that, the rest of the team finishes their lunches. Jiren has been watching Gale for a while, thinking that he's up to something. "This Gale person is up to something. I have to figure this one out. This show and what he's doing is...revolting!" are Jiren's thoughts, before leaving the cafeteria for the day.
The Next Day…
(Playing "The Pride Troopers Show's Theme song)
Today...we have the heavy-weight warrior, Tupper and the beautiful dimensional illusionist, Cocotte here for our next interview! We're going deep into what they think about the other Pride Troopers in this area and see how they view each other. Let's begin the interview! I'm Gale Hailstorm and here's the interview!
Gale: Hahahah! This is some kind of show that we got here. (Looks at Tupper) Tupper? What do you think about Cocotte?
Tupper: I think that she's a good person in the group. Despite being the only girl in the elite level, she's a kind, honest person. She would never make any insults to one of us.
Gale: Really? Are you completely sure that Cocotte might have other thoughts about you that aren't hurtful?
Tupper: (Raises his eyebrow) Uh...What hurtful insults?
Gale: (Grabs a packet of paper and notes) This is her diary notes that we copied last night. We copied some of the most juiciest thoughts that your friend has made. For instance, "Dear Diary, I love how my hair is so shiny and clean, unlike the rest of the men in this group. Tupper might have the worst smelling one in my opinion. His hair smells like dirt and (Bleep) got mixed together in a blender! I would like for him to take a bath in the most refreshing waters on this planet, so that the gunk doesn't get into my hair. Despite the hair, his breathes are more garlic-like than minty fresh! Every time he opens his mouth to talk, the stink comes out, gets into my nostrils, and my senses go dull! Hah! Who hired him to be a Pride Trooper, if he smells so bad!?-Cocotte" (Smiles)
Tupper: (Makes an angry expression to Cocotte) You jerk! How could you make fun of how I smell!? It's a part of my race!
Cocotte: I-I didn't mean to say that! My diaries are suppose to be private! Besides, it's not like I meant it! Hehehe! (Rubs the back of her head)
Gale: Actually, you did meant it. Last night, we saw you saying to yourself, that if you would like to kick off someone from the team...(Points to Tupper) It would be him!
Cocotte: (Gasp, while getting up of her chair) How dare you sneak into my room and record that!? I'm leaving! (Leaves the area)
Tupper: Same here! I don't want to be near that woman again! (Leaves the area)
Gale: (Rubs his hands, while making a sinister smile) (Hehehehe! This plan is working! A few more days and this plan is going to be fool-proof!) Coming up tomorrow, We have the whipping master, Vuon with the lassoing member, Kunshi! Stay tune for more video and other information that we got for you!
Two Days Later…
Two days has passed and every citizen on Planet Netfiss has new thoughts about the Pride Troopers, especially the elite ones. After eight of the ten members revealed their "true" feelings towards each other on a live show, the people either laugh at them or boo at them. For instance, they threw some tomatoes at Dyspo, Kunshi, and Cocotte for being horrible people in the group. Vuon, Tupper, and Zoiray got even more worse treatment, as they called names and insulted for what they truly do after work. Kasheral and Kettle get a mixture of what they said yesterday on the show for being dishonest with each other. For example, Kettle accidentally said to Kasheral that he was the one that destroyed the ship on patrol, while he was busy with work, for which was revealed to be a date with one of the girls from the speed date event that he was in. Now the team is starting to lose it's prideful nature. Top does see this, thinking that the show is gotten out of control with what Gale is saying in his interviews. He sees Jiren, having the same thoughts as he's thinking. "Jiren? Can you please come to my office for a private conversation?" said Top. Jiren hears this, says yes, and leaves the area. Once in the office, Jiren destroys the cameras in the office, so that Gale doesn't see the private conversation. "Jiren? I know that this show was suppose to be a big break from what he have as work, but after Gale's interview with a lot of our members, I think that signing that contract was a bad decision." said Top with a sad look. "Don't feel bad, Top. He hasn't gotten to us yet, so we better think of something to get the team back together and reveal Gale's true colors." said Jiren. Top does remember of the videos that he has at his studio. "If we can see what the videos really reveal, then-" said Top, before Jiren finishes the rest. "We could fix two stones with one hammer." said Jiren with a smile. They bot agreed on doing the plan as followed. At night, when the camera crew is done with the studio, Jiren grabs the video tapes, leaves, and goes to Top's office for a quick look at each member's videos. After one hour and thirty minutes of watching a lot of videos, they came to the conclusion of what Gale's plan is. They wait in the morning tomorrow for the complete plan to work.
Pride Trooper's Headquarters, Café (The Next Day)
In the café area, the elite team are eating at different tables, not wanting to sit with anyone else anymore. The big white screen comes back on again, loading the next video. Once it's done loading, it shows Top and Jiren being the last elite members of the group to be interviewed by Gale Hailstorm. He's now in his chair, ready for the interview of a life time. He pulls out his reading cards, paper, and notes, faces the two members and starts the interview.
I'm now here with the last two members of the elite leveled Pride Troopers. Top, the leader of the whole organization, along with the strongest mortal in this universe, Jiren! I'll begins the questions of who they think about the entire team as a whole, before I show them the videos that I got yesterday. Let's begin the interview already!
Gale: Hahah! It's the last interview, before we get into some personal action with the Pride Troopers. (Looks at Jiren) So, Jiren? What do you think about your team member's reveals from four days ago?
Jiren: Ahem! Before I tell you my thoughts...(Pulls out a pile of papers) I have some words to say to the rest of the team, if you don't mind.
Gale: Uh…
Top: Come on! We deeply care for the rest of the members. Just for a few minutes. (Smiles)
Gale: Okay. Go right ahead!
Jiren: Thanks. (Faces the camera) I would like to say a few notes that I discovered from last night. (Reads one passage) "Even though his hair stinks and his breathe stinks as well, I can't be mad at him. I just need him to take a bath once in a while. Tupper is a good, honest person in the group. I wouldn't say those words to his face." That was from Cocotte. she's a trustworthy person of the group, not wanting to break anyone's heart or feelings for that matter.
Cocotte: That's the rest of he diary that Gale didn't read! (looks at Tupper) I'm sorry for what he said! I'm sorry that I called you stinky behind your back!
Tupper: That's fine, Cocotte! We're team members for a reason!
Jiren: Dyspo's father said that he knew that his mother was responsible for giving birth to his half sister, but it was for the best for both of their futures, If even they get to know of their family tree at some point, he said that he was sorry for not saying to either of them in the first place. "Your mother would be proud of you, Dyspo" were his words, before hanging up last night.
Dyspo: (Cries) Dad! Mom was right! You have changed for the better!
(Jiren continues to reveal the team's true colors to each others for a few minutes)
Gale: (grunts) Are you done!?
Jiren: That was the last one. (Smiles at Gale) Now for those questions.
Gale: Whew! Thanks! Now, Are there any thoughts that you would like to share?
Jiren: Actually...(Pulls out a recorder tape) I would like for you to hear something real quick.
(Turns on the recorder: "This job is perfect. Once I reveal all of the Pride Troopers their true colors, I'll be the only hero on Planet Netfiss! This is for not accepting me as a member of the group ten years ago! I was meant to me a Pride Trooper like the rest of them, but they turned me down! How dare they!? I'LL MAKE THEM SUFFER THE SAME WAY THAT I DID! GETTING REJECTED BY THEIR BIGGEST FANS! HAHAHAHAHA!"/ Recording ends)
Gale: (Eyes widen and looks at Jiren) H-How did you-
Jiren: I put a recorder under your desk, before coming here. (Smiles) Now everyone knows who you are.
Gale looks at the cameras, noticing that the recording was on air, meaning that everyone in the cafe area, in the building, and even around Planet Netfiss has heard of it. He was sweating and swearing out words, scared that his plan of breaking up the team was a failure. He runs out of the area, only to be stopped by Jiren in a quick manner. He grabs Gale, handcuffs him, and pins him to the floor. "You're under arrest for faulty telling lies to the Pride Troopers and lying to the audience." said Jiren as she drags Gale out of the area.
Four Hours Later…
The show is canceled, after Gale revealed his true intentions to the group. Jiren is now in his room, ending his evening meditation. He hears a knock on the door, forcing him to get out of bed, walk to the door, and opens it. Top was in front of him, talking to him about what they did to save the team. "You did a good job on taking care of the plan as followed. It was a good thing that you cared about the team." said Top with a smile. Jiren smiles as well, knowing that he's starting to develop into his own person. He does say that Gale was just jealous, meaning that he can't be in jail for a while. Top is right, so he ask Jiren another question that startles him a bit. "For 'Bring Your Relative to Work Day', I was wondering...will you like to meet my sister and brother?" said Top. Jiren's eyes were wide, meaning that the question startled him a bit. "Uh...I guess sir. I'll meet your siblings. But why?" said Jiren. "I felt sad that you were the only person in your family and thought of bringing you to see my siblings. Don't worry. They act much more like me!" said Top as he does a pose. Jiren again says yes and closes the door, ready to go to sleep and ready for tomorrow.
