AN: For thousands of years I have slumbered who dare disturb my… Oh hey guys I'm back
CHAPTER 5
(Izuku pov)
The metal hand crept closer and Izuku picked Ochako up ready to run when the sound of grinding metal caught his attention. The hand stopped a mere foot away. He let go of the strength he had 'borrowed' and looked down to find an angry Ochako looking up at him. He gave a foxy grin and was slapped.
"You idiot! You could have gotten hurt! You didn't know if it was going to stop! Why did you save me?!" He had never seen her this mad before. 'Because you remind me of 'her' and I can't go through that again.' He couldn't say that.
"That's what heroes do," He grinned. "Do you think you can walk?"
"Not really I think I twisted my ankle." She was focusing on anything but him.
"Well, they should have nurses or something to assist injured students. Let's go find one." He turned to find an old elderly woman walking up towards them. 'Don't I know her?'
"No need to do that. Please set her down gently, young man."
(Ochako POV)
She was doing all she could from looking at Izuku as he laid her down on the ground. If she looked at him she was certain she would pass out. 'Really Izuku? Does he even know his shirt is ripped open? Maybe a little peak.' She turned her head and felt her face start to burn, before she looked away in embarrassment she noticed three things: a small scar over where his heart was a fox on his side and a larger scar on the lower left side of his neck. 'More questions for another day.'
The elderly woman looked at her ankle. " Minor sprain, no broken skin. This is a quick fix. You might feel a little lightheaded missy." She then kissed Ochakos ankle and the pain was gone but it was like she had just sprinted a lap with no breaks. "There you go, dear. Try to get some extra rest today, you'll need it." The Elderly woman looked up at Izuku and muttered something about similar scars. Izuku helped her up and held her arm as she gingerly stepped down. Feeling no pain she nodded at him and he let go.
"Thank you for helping me." She bowed to the elderly woman.
"No need to do that. I wouldn't be a good nurse if I let a student stay injured." The woman laughed and went to the other participants. Izuku started walking himself.
"Ochako? You coming?" he fostered towards the door and proceeded to walk on.
"I...Izuku your… your shirt is ripped." Knowing him he would have continued on without noticing it. "Huh guess I used more than I thought. Thanks for letting me know you're a lifesaver." He rubbed the back of his head as she walked beside him. She noticed that quite a few other examinees were on the ground as they left, most looked exhausted. 'Huh I guess we did go a little overboard with training but this is surprising that so many of our peers are out of shape.'
"So what are your plans after this Izuku? Want to go to that american diner we found last week?" She asked him.
"Maybe another day my shirts kind of ruined and I doubt they'd let me in. Might distract some of the waitresses or… maybe a certain breezy patron." He chuckled at the last part as her cheeks heated up again before collecting herself.
"Yeah we wouldn't want the waitresses accidentally spilling coffee on your big head would we." She rolled her eyes. "So are we still on for training tomorrow?"
"If you're up for it sure but we'll stop if your ankle acts up ok. As my dad said ankle injuries are no joke." He spoke in a ton that said she wouldn't be able to talk her way out of it. "I think i'm going to head home and just relax. You're always welcome to come along you know."
"I'm good. Don't get this the wrong way but gives me the creeps a bit, he's always watching us when we rest. I get that we're teens but we aren't going to be doing anything if he isn't watching us." She complained. It was rather annoying in her opinion, it wasn't like Izuku and her were going to jump all over each other as soon as he wasn't looking.
(Izuku POV)
"You know how people of his generation are." He scoffed. Inwardly he was cringing as it was likely because of his "fathers" escapades that had Toshi watching him like a hawk. As they passed the entrance of UA he couldn't help but notice a rather fancy car or the Tall beauty getting into the backseat. 'Oh ho ho wait do I see here? A potential student or teacher perhaps and from the looks of it from a wealthy family. I wonder if Toshi will have a list of students and teachers?' His old instincts were telling him there's a golden opportunity around the corner. He bid Ochako a good day saying he'd meet her tomorrow and went off home.
"Toshi? You here?" The large house was quiet but he needed to make sure. He walked around for a bit but no sign of his heroic buddy. 'Good. Now just got to hope he left his computer here.' Knowing his old friend and how forgetful he could be Izuku had hoped he forgot something with the info he was looking for. The search wasn't long as he found a laptop with the UA logo on it. 'Toshi how many times did I warn you about leaving such things unprotected. Well when in rome.' He shrugged his shoulders and got to work. A few names stuck out to him but the two that caught his attention were Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. He'd rather not deal with the walking fire safety issue that was Enji again so he set his eyes on the wealthy business family. 'Now do I go for B and E or do I play the long game? HEHEHEHE, oh this fox will play.'
AN: I needed a break from my hero after the chaos that was the last arc that's why I have been gone. I'm sad one of my favorite ships seems to be delegated to a few long fics but mostly one-shots (Touma x Mikoto). So I've been looking at chapters where Ban gets hurt and honestly, it seems like if bans blood isn't used in some fashion ala healing king or refilling the fountain of youth his blood seems to vanish. Of course, we could say that's just the anime not wanting to constantly show blood but I like this idea as if it didn't people would be bottling that stuff and using it as a cure-all, cause he bleeds a crapload. I loved doing that first scene in the last chapter. As I stated it took a while to write it's because I wasn't happy with how it turned out so edited a bit and added the sandwich incident; I was laughing the whole time I typed it. I'd say he was a German exchange student for his first time at UA. He's English in nature so a European country would make sense.
