Writing Acheron saying anything nice and it not sounding wrong is maddening. Really wanted to do this one in particular due to the hate between the two. Also small update to the Share a Meal section in Activities script.

Lorenz: Ah what a lovely afternoon, pleasant winds, shining sun and some delicious tea, now only if I had a fair maiden to share some company with.

Acheron(Enters): Lorenz, I was wondering where that pleasant aroma was coming from. It would seem that you have quite the tea arrangement here.

Lorenz: Oh Acheron it's you and yes thank you for noticing, just taking a moment from the busy day to enjoy some calming tea.

Acheron: Indeed, I also enjoy a well-brewed cup of tea after a long day.

Lorenz: I couldn't agree more, it clears ones mind and refreshes the soul for whatever may come next.

(Awkward pause)

Acheron:...

Yes nothing quite like sitting down and taking in the calming taste after a grueling day.

Lorenz: Yes of course...

Well would you care to join me for cup Acheron, some company goes a long way.

Acheron: Well if your insisting, I suppose I have time for a cup.

Lorenz: Here you are, House Gloucester's own personalized blend. Enjoy.

Acheron, I have to admit when the Professor first invited you to join us at the monastery I was absolutely flabbergasted. I wasn't sure what they were trying to accomplish. However you being here now I realized it does give us a rare opportunity to discuss any differences and grievances between our-

Acheron: This tea is disgusting! Utterly repugnant! It's smells so sweet but is absolutely bitter! Who could drink this?

Lorenz: Excuse you. I understand if you don't enjoy bitter flavors however there is no need to be so childish. If your palette isn't refined enough to appreciate it then-

Acheron: Oh my palette is more then refined enough to tell this tea isn't fit to be served to my horse! If that is House Gloucester's best tea, well then I can't say I'm surprised.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to find something to wash that flavor out of my mouth.(Leaves)

Lorenz: How utterly distasteful. And it was such a fine afternoon.

Acheron:(Scribbling on desk) I would need this... Do that... Then this area would...

Lorenz: Acheron? What are you doing up at this hour? Everyone who isn't church staff is has already gone to bed.

Acheron: It is no business of yours Lorenz, but if you're truly interested I'm writing up some trade laws for goods coming into my territory. Now if you would.

Lorenz: Oh my apologies, I will leave you to- Wait a moment what is this?

Acheron you cannot possibly be considering passing this bill!

Acheron: Keep your eyes off my work, what would you know about tax laws? This tariff is for the good of Wallasey territory, it is of the upmost importance!

Lorenz: For the good of your territory? Acheron, your putting tarrifs on goods from several major Alliance territories! Aside from putting increasing pressure on your own people, it is going to infuriate the other Lords! What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Acheron: House Wallasey needs some funds for improving infrastructure, so a simple tax will help accomplish that! If other Lords are upset by that then they can set their own tariffs.

Lorenz: That is not the point. As nobles we shouldn't be placing such strain on the people to meet our own ends, you will only make the lives of the commoners in your territory more difficult and earn their ire.

Acheron: Oh my your right! How could I be so inconsiderate considering Count Gloucester's example of courtesy to those who go through his territory?

Lorenz: And what exactly are you trying to insinuate?

Acheron: Please, didn't your father ever tell you or have you just choosen to ignore it? How many merchants from other territories have traveled through your lands just to be ravaged by monsters?

Meanwhile merchants from Gloucster territory seemingly never had so much as scratch? That has been quite good for Gloucster's finances has it not? Not to mention the incident with the old Count Riegan, though I'm sure it was just a unpleasant coincidence.

Lorenz: ...

Acheron: I know you must be aware of the sayings of your father, of course no noble will accuse him of such claims without any proof.

However I know better, your father is a no good schemer, a shrewd coward, selfish and uncaring he's nothing but a burden on the Alliance that I need to expel!

Lorenz: That's quite enough Acheron! I'll be the first to admit that I'm not aware of all my father's dealings, but I won't deny that some of them are without a doubt unsavory or even under handed.

Acheron: So you admit it then? Your father really is-

Lorenz: However he is my father so I will not allow you to insult and speak ill of him in my presence.

When my time as Count Gloucster comes inevitably comes, I will uphold my ideals of a Noble and law. Whatever transgressions my father may have committed I will look into myself, and deal with personally in a just manner. Regardless of what it may entail.

That said I truly do suggest you reconsider your bill for the sake of your territory and your own. I bid you a good night Count Wallasey.(Walks away)

Acheron: The nerve of the that brat, telling me how to run my land. How would he know-(Acheron pauses to examine paper on desk before uttering a defeated sigh.)

Acheron:(Strained) Aha Lorenz! It is a pleasure to see you this day my friend!

Lorenz: Acheron? Well good day to you as well. Is there something I can help you with?

Acheron: Oh no Lorenz, I simply had say you were quite impressive in the last battle! A maestro of the battlefield!

Lorenz: Is that so?

Acheron: Yes in deed, so much so that I'm offering you Wallasey courtesy! I've had some of my finest tea leaves brought from my castle for this occasion.

You should feel quite honored!

Lorenz: Yes a rare courtesy indeed.

But before that, tell me Acheron you wouldn't happen to have any ulterior motives to this bizarre, random and completely uncharacteristic act of kindness would you?

Acheron: Why Lorenz I-

Ok yes I do have another end to meet with this. Honestly your performance in the last battle was a travesty compared to my noble self.

Lorenz: Out with it Weathervane to what end is this 'kindness'?

Acheron: Why you- This is nothing more then an apology simple as that!

Lorenz: An apology?

Acheron: Yes for our last discussion. While I doubt I am mistaken about your father, it was uncouth to insult him in the manner I did.

It is in rather poor taste for a noble to slander his colleagues. Now will you join me for a cup tea!

Lorenz: Well I have to admit Acheron, I never thought you someone capable of admitting a personal wrongdoing. You are a better man then I thought.

So it'd be ungentlemanly for me to not accept your invitation for some tea.

Acheron: A better man then you thought? I'll have you know house Wallasey is renowned across Fodlan for our hospitality and modesty. We as a noble house take pride in our prestige and handling situations with a quick and professional manner. Just so you know-

Lorenz: I best start the kettle now, it seems like he may go on for some time.

Lorenz: Yes it's all coming together, I must admit Acheron this trade pact is quite impressive, if the other lords agree to it could do good things for Fodlan.

Acheron: Obviously, I wrote it! This pact will be forever mark house Wallasey's legislative prowess in Fodlan.

Lorenz: Really and I am to assume that my suggestions that night had nothing to do with the sudden rewriting of your bill?

Acheron: Come now it was common sense, what good would come from putting imposing such tariffs on my people? You didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.

Lorenz: Quite right, it wouldn't do for a noble to have his castle sieged by angry merchants and villagers.

However all these laws and trade pacts we plan won't amount to anything if we lose the war, we need work to ensure the of this war for the sake of the Alliance(VW)./for the sake of Fodlan we to find the path to victory(other routes).

Acheron: Hmph, I suppose it can't be helped then. For the time being House Wallasey and Gloucester will need to cooperate to end this war.

You will have the honor to assist me to this end Lorenz, so feel honored.

Lorenz: Actually Acheron, I think you'll be the one having the honor of assisting me. House Gloucster's position is grander after all.

Acheron: Oh no no no, it was my idea to cooperate, therefore I will be leading our forces!

Lorenz: Yes however as I am the one who made this cooperation possible, I should be the one to lead our cause! I am the more qualified between the two of us!

Acheron: You listen here you uppity brat! No one is one more qualified then myself so you can-

Ending

Lorenz

Noble of the Red Rose

Acheron

The Rusted Weathervane

With the battle over, House Gloucester and Wallasey soon formed a dynamic political partnership. With Lorenz's ambitious ideas and Acheron's unrelenting push for them, few could match their combined efficiency. Though they were more often remembered for their hours of arguing during political meetings.

Took a while to get this all done, coming up with ideas and rewriting things and rereading things to make sure nothing feels out of character. Most of that is done by reading everything in a character's voice and listening to voice clips. Next is Crimson Flower which should be quicker before Byleth Support.
