I just want to add that reality benders are prone to mental instability, most of the stories I've read has reality benders have mental problems.

A chick that does anything you orders her to, Dr Clef has a split personality, Lilith Clef's abusive girlfriend who is also a reality bender that was shot in the head by Clef (man Clef is going all king Henry the 8th here with all these wife killings), SCP 3812 split personality and a few others I can't quite remember.

--story start--

William was heading to a jeweller this time he'll be selling his 5th batch, but as he was heading to the jewellery store, a bunch of tugs suddenly walks out from an alley to surround him.

Suffice to say his regular visits to the jewellery didn't go without noticing especially when a great increase in profit from the store the followed soon after.

Particularly as the jewellery store started outputting raw uncut diamonds, that naturally raised a few eyebrows.

With the eyebrows raised people would naturally started inquiring hoping to get a hold of the secret that lead to a sudden raise of an otherwise small unremarkable jewellery store.

With all these searching it naturally caught the attention of a local triad near the area as people are paying good money just to get information on some info on a particular jewellery store and the reason for their sudden boom.

While extracting protection fee from the jewellery store did cross the triad's mind but such a high profile target would naturally attract a large amount of attention particularly from the police, as it's just one step below a bank so they dare not act recklessly.

Suffice to say it didn't take long of for them to eventually trace it all back to the sighting of a particularly well dressed man with glistening golden hair and eyes as blue eyes.

Upon further inquiries the triad also found that a man with golden hair was sighted a few months back visiting most of the jewellery stores in the city trying to sell raw uncut diamonds, the person having such an eye catching golden hair naturally left a deep impression on people.

Judging from his suspicious behaviour gang leader assumes that the diamonds must from a suspicious source, as nobody sells directly to jewellery stores and certain not in such a blunt way.

There is usually at least a middle man who would gather up resource in question (usually from a multiple different sources) and sell them in large bulks to who ever needs them.

That's a usually a more efficient way as people don't usually expect miners to know who needs what and how much they need. The raw resource in this case diamonds usually would need to go to a channels, go through a bunch of intermediaries before reaching the jewel maker's hand.

This is especially true for a large city that's nowhere near a mining source.

Anyway all these perhaps didn't even go through the triad's heads as they probably just assumes that the golden hair man unusually selling methods is highly suspicious so therefore it must be from an illegal source, so therefore even if they beat him up to get the diamonds the golden haired man won't do anything about it.

As no criminal would go to the police if they were robbed, especially if the goods that were rob were stolen goods.

Which leads us to the present a bunch of ruffians surrounding William who was alone.

"All right drop all the diamonds and tell us where you got them and perhaps we might let you leave unhurt" a ruffian said

'8 of them' William thought as looks around wondering what to do now.

Option 1, he could use his powers and make easy work he of them, that would risk exposing his reality bending powers and would draws a lot of attention.

Option 2, Use his Desert Eagle that's hidden in his long coat, he could easily kill them but that would certainly draws in unwanted attention as this world doesn't seem to have invented gunpowder yet.

Option 3, just give in to their demands as it's just a lump of coal and he could easily make more of them, trouble thing is that they won't the source of it and it's highly unlikely for them to believe him that this batch is the last. They would proceed to beat him up until he tells them what they want to hear.

Had William been an ordinary man then perhaps he would have chosen option 3 but as a reality bender he obviously can't allow that!

To willingly let these bugs that he could easily crush with but a mere thought to beat him up is simply unacceptable!

But he abilities could be exposed.

Then let's his ability be expose! He has all these that can even warp the fabric of the universe, just to let these lower life forms beat him up?!

Unacceptable! Simply Unacceptable!

William thought briefly before choosing to go with option 1.

"I'll only warn you once, leave me alone" William warns them as he exercised his power to forcibly hold them in place.

Step Step Step

"Now don't let there be a next time, tee~he~!" William whispered every so silently into the leader's ears as he slowly walks pass them.

Part of William's character quirk is that if the situation allows it he has a tendency of poking at a downed dog as before awakening his powers he was an internet troll and takes great pleasure at the misery and frustrations of other people.

All the while on the bodies of the triads that are being held in place are are tiny micro spasms, as it seems that they're fighting desperately to fight William psychic hold.

Even he could have easily squashed them to death but as he is kind and merciful he decided to let them live, that and that he doesn't want to commit murder with a lot of witnesses.

As William walk passed a certain distance form the ruffian and his goons, he eventually let them go as hopefully at this point they learned their lesson and crawl back to what every rock they crawled out from.

William had hope that they would have known their place after being suppressed a for a while but unfortunately it seems that William's kindness were for not, as soon as William's let go the leader of the little group immediately turns and tries to attack him.

"Damn you!!!!" He yells as he jumps high into the air trying to land a fire bending kick.

His goons soon followed their boss's lead and tries to charge the blonde.

To which William turns as he raises his hand.

As soon as William raises his hand the charging goons froze on mid stride while the leader froze in mid flight.

For a moment there was silence before a mini tornado slowly forms with William as the epicentre.

Whoooohsss

William jolt his hand as the triads are flying back at incredible speed.

The triads flew back and hit a building wall leaving body imprints on the wall.

Suffice to say with all commotion it didn't take long for local police force to come swing down from a zeppelin.

Swinging down?

Yes, as the police for in this other world decided upon that swinging between buildings with a metal whip is the best form of transportation.

Seeing that the law enforcers has arrived William quickly dissipates his miniature tornado and greeted the officers.

"Greetings officers, nice that you've finally arrived now arrest those ruffians who assaulted me" William said in his gentlemanly demeanour while pointing at the ruffians that's imbedded into the wall.

The officer in charge looks at the damage around (from the tornado), looks at the people embedded into the wall and then looks at William who is without a single single scratch on him.

"You're under arrest too" the officer then points to him

"Arrested? you mean taken in for questioning and filing in a report?" William asked

"For causing property damage" The officer then tries to shoot a metal whip to entangle him.

To which William projected a barrier around him to proven himself from getting entangled.

William frowns as he currently has 2 choices right now

1st, is to escape.

2nd, is to go with them

William thought about it for a bit before deciding to go with them, as far as he is concerned this is all self defence, so he can't be blamed for collateral damage.

Not to mention that even if he is asked to pay for the damages. William has infinite money baby! Need more money? Let me make a few more diamond! problem solved.

Even in the worst case scenario William is still confident in his reality bending powers that he can bust out from an ordinary police station.

He can overpower a Scranton Reality Anchor from a Foundation facility so William isn't to worries of being captured by them.

As far as he know these guys are just the local law enforcers, a bunch of nobodies. They're at the same level as the Unusual Incidents Unit (a branch of the FBI that deals with anomalies) or UIU for short... scratch that they're even lesser than that as they're just regular policemen, they're a joke! LoL!

Like practically anyone can shoo those (UIU) guys away, anyone can just go up to them and say "buzz off" and they would obediently scamper away.

(This isn't a joke as it's in their directive that if anyone from any of the major paranormal organisations tells them to take a hike, the should follow their instructions)

"Now now, Mr officer there's no need for that I'm willing to go with you file in the police report" William said keeping his gentleman demeanour as this is all just a game to him.

The officer then tries to wrap him in metal ropes again and again it's met with William's barrier.

"Mr officer, there's no to subject me to such indignities, I as a victim of this incident is willing follow you to the stationary for questioning and help you file in the report" William said while give a very sincere face.
