Chapter 5: Enter Donkey Kong .EXE
(Back at Eggman's lab)
Eggman's computer was showing the image of Station Square. Eventually, it showed Sonic, Donkey Kong, Tails, and Diddy Kong about to fight Sonic .EXE.
King K. Rool- Looks like the heroes finally caught up to that horrible monster. And to be honest, I don't know who I should be rooting for. What were you thinking, creating a copy of Sonic this destructive and uncontrollable?!
Eggman- Hey, don't blame me! It was DeDeDe who told me how to make this thing!
King K. Rool- But you were warned by your computer numerous times about a .EXE program, yet you just ignored it!
While they continued to argue, Krusha was trying to put Orbot and Cubot's head back on their bodies. He first put Orbot's head on Cubot's body and Cubot's head on Orbot's body. However, they just fell off.
Orbot- First of all, you put our head on the wrong body. Second, the heads won't just stick to the body simply by putting them on.
Krusha- I got crazy glue!
Then Krusha pulled out a container of glue and their head onto their bodies. However, Krusha used a little too much glue as it was now all over Orbot and Cubot.
Cubot- My head is sticking to my body…
Orbot- Yes, but I think we should mention that the inner cords were also torn apart when Sonic .EXE ripped our heads off. We still won't function out robot bodies…
Then General Klump noticed that the machine that came out of was still operating.
General Klump- Uh…guys…why is this thing still on?!
Then Eggman quickly pulled up another window on his computer and realized he forgot about something else.
Eggman- Oh shit…
King K. Rool- What now?!
Eggman- I forgot we also put in some of Donkey Kong's DNA…
Then the machine produced more black smoke and filled the whole room. General Klump was thrown across the room and into the wall while making a huge dent in it. Then Eggman and K. Rool saw the huge figure that emerged from the black smoke and froze in fear at the two glowing red dots staring at them from those black eyes.
King K. Rool- Can't believe I got stuck in your mess like this, egghead…
Eggman- Just shut up and let me do the talking!
(Back at Station Square)
Sonic and Sonic .EXE were dashing around the place with their speed attack while trying break through the other's guard. Sonic attempted a homing shot, but Sonic .EXE managed avoid it with his speed. Then Sonic .EXE charged at Sonic with a spin dash, but Sonic jumped over it. While Sonic .EXE was sliding on the ground and seemingly looked towards Sonic's direction, Donkey Kong reached out and tried to grab Sonic .EXE from his blindside…or so he thought.
Sonic .EXE- No good…
Sonic .EXE vanished with his speed the moment DK attempted to grab him.
Donkey Kong- What the?! Where'd he go?!
Sonic .EXE appeared just above Donkey Kong and was about to curl into a ball form and drop on him. But before he could, he saw Tails shooting a laser from his arm cannon at him. Sonic .EXE vanished with his speed again to avoid it.
Donkey Kong- How can I touch him if he won't stand still?
Tails- I know. He apparently has Sonic's speed to go with Sonic's appearance.
Diddy Kong- Then maybe we should disrupt his movements a bit…
Diddy Kong reaches into his hat and pulls out something yellow. Meanwhile, Sonic .EXE was using his speed to avoid being spotted as he circled around them.
Sonic .EXE- This could be my opportunity to take one of them out while they're trying to ponder where I'll strike next. Perhaps that little fox will…
Suddenly, a banana peel was placed where Sonic .EXE was about to step. Sonic .EXE managed to stop himself before he slipped on the banana peel. However…
Sonic- Finally! He left an opening!
Then Sonic dashed at Sonic .EXE. And before could react, Sonic got in close landed a right hook into Sonic .EXE's face, knocking him to the ground. Sonic .EXE stood to his knee and spat out a tooth.
Sonic .EXE- Cheap shot!
Sonic- Sure, make all the excuses you want to tell yourself as we kick your ass.
Sonic charged for Sonic .EXE with a spin dash, but Sonic .EXE dodged it.
Donkey Kong- Sonic! You might want jump into the air right now…
Without saying any more, Sonic understood what Donkey Kong meant and dashed into the air. Then Donkey Kong slammed both of his fists into the ground actually caused part of the ground to crumble apart. This hindered Sonic .EXE from running where he wanted to go and made his briefly stop running. As Sonic .EXE stopped himself from running into a hole that was recently made in the road, Diddy Kong jumped on his chest and grabbed him by the neck.
Sonic .EXE- Get off of me, you little…
Before could finish, Diddy Kong punched him in the face and knocked him a bit backwards. Before Sonic .EXE could recover from that or hit the ground, Tails zapped him with a laser from his arm cannon. This stunned Sonic .EXE, giving Sonic time to charge his spin dash for a light speed attack.
Sonic- Ready…GOOOO!
Then Sonic dashed off and smacked Sonic .EXE several times before knocking him to the ground. But as Sonic .EXE was struggling to get up, the last thing he saw before being sent flying was Donkey Kong winding his fist for his signature Monkey Punch. Sonic .EXE crashed into the side of a building and actually looked like he was hurt. It almost looked like there was blood coming from his eyes. Sonic .EXE dropped to the ground and struggled to get back up. Donkey Kong charged in to attack before he could get up, but something completely unexpected happened. What appeared to be another gorilla jumped in and blocked Donkey Kong's punch with its own. What surprised Donkey Kong the most was this strange gorilla's punch matched his perfectly.
Donkey Kong- What the?!
Donkey Kong took a better look at this figure and saw that this ape looked like a demonic copy of himself. Like Sonic .EXE, it also had black eye with two glowing red dots and a malicious grin showing off numerous sharp teeth.
Donkey Kong- Where did you come from?!
Donkey Kong .EXE- Me Donkey Kong .EXE! Donkey Kong .EXE no like other monkey! Donkey Kong .EXE say there be only one!
Diddy Kong- You've got to be kidding me!
Tails- Now there's one of Donkey Kong too?!
Sonic- Shit…
Then Sonic .EXE hit Donkey Kong in the face with a spin dash and stunning him a bit. Then Donkey Kong .EXE punched Donkey Kong in the face and knocked him to the ground.
Donkey Kong .EXE- Hey! Donkey Kong .EXE no need help!
Sonic .EXE- Well, they were ganging up on me before you showed up. It's obvious you and I will have to work together like they're doing if either of us want to win.
Donkey Kong .EXE- Fine, but Donkey Kong .EXE want big monkey!
Sonic .EXE- And I get the blue hedgehog.
Then Sonic .EXE dashed at Sonic and Sonic barely managed to block it. Tails tried to hit Sonic .EXE with a spin dash of his own, but Sonic .EXE dashed away.
Sonic- Where do you think you're running off to, you faker?!
Sonic dashed after Sonic .EXE. Meanwhile, Donkey Kong .EXE charged at Donkey Kong with a Monkey Punch. Donkey Kong blocked with his Monkey Punch and the entire area shook when the two fists collided. Diddy Kong attempted to strike Donkey Kong .EXE from behind with a summersault kick, but the attacked didn't do anything to Donkey Kong .EXE.
Donkey Kong .EXE- Puny chimp no hurt Donkey Kong .EXE. Little monkey to small.
Diddy Kong- Damn it! He's too sturdy for me to hurt him! Just like DK is!
Donkey Kong swung his other fist and so did Donkey Kong .EXE. Both Kong's were equal in strength and neither was giving in.
Donkey Kong .EXE- Donkey Kong .EXE strongest there is! Donkey Kong .EXE prove to world by crushing DK!
Donkey Kong- You don't know what it truly means to be strong! It takes more than brute force to call yourself the king of the Kong's!
Then Donkey Kong kicked some dirt on the ground upwards and into Donkey Kong .EXE's face. This blinded Donkey Kong .EXE and made him cover his face. Donkey Kong quickly swung his Monkey Punch and knocked Donkey Kong .EXE not only into the side of a building, but right through it. However, Donkey Kong .EXE rushed back out while holding a large girder in his paws. Probably from the building he was knocked into. Donkey Kong .EXE swung it at Donkey Kong, but Donkey Kong managed to grab hold of the other end and stop it from hitting him. But then Diddy Kong jumped on the girder and pointed his peanut pistols at Donkey Kong .EXE's face.
Diddy Kong- If my attacks aren't strong enough to hurt you, then maybe they can at the very least stun you!
Then Donkey Kong .EXE was blinded by the explosion of the peanuts directly in his face. This allowed Donkey Kong to pull the metal girder from Donkey Kong .EXE and swat it at him from above. Donkey Kong .EXE's arms could be seen twitching from underneath the steel girder, but they stopped eventually.
Donkey Kong- Thanks, Diddy. That was one intense fight.
Diddy Kong- We're not done yet.
Donkey Kong- Yeah, the darker clone of Sonic.
