Remember that senior field trip to NYC I mentioned earlier? Well, that's today. I was going to stay home and finish up some romance novels, but I had no say in wanting to go or not. Of course, I packed late. Even with knowing about the trip 3 weeks in advance, I'm still currently grabbing forgotten items.

8:00

"Lara Jean! The bus leaves at 8:30! And your not even dressed!" Dad yells at me from downstairs.

"I'm grabbing a few more things!" I yell back. I grab a couple of sweaters and a few novels to shove in my suitcase. It was only a four-day trip, but I can fit in some reading time. I quickly get dressed, put my hair in a messy bun, and grab my coat.

"Peter's here!" Kitty exclaims from downstairs.

"I'M COMING." I yell back clearly annoyed.

8:18

"Late as per usual." Peter greets me as I come down.

"Very funny." I reply sarcastically, as I start saying my goodbyes to my family. I hug Margot a little longer, knowing by the time I get back home, it'll be time for her to leave for Scotland.

"I love you, little sis. Remember what I told you, don't forget to Skype me. And keep me updated." She reminds me, hugging me a little too tight.

"I won't forget." I promise.

8:24

"Covey, we need to leave now!" Peter yells at me, breaking Margot and I's little moment. I say bye to Ravi and my family once more, and Peter packs my luggage as I get into his Jeep. It's by the nick of time we actually make it before the bus left us behind.

8:34

Everyone on the bus is finally seated, suitcases all packed, and were about to take off. I'm sitting next to Peter, and his head's resting on my shoulder. The road to NYC was peaceful, everyone either dozed off, or was busy looking out the window. I was excited to go to all the bakery's, trying out different chocolate chip cookies and other pastries.

Soon enough, we arrived at the hotel we would be staying at. It was massive, and quite fancy. Maybe it's just because were in the city, and everything to me looks amazing. We start loading off the bus, eager to get our belongings, and go find our rooms. The girls would sleep on the same side, and boys on the other. Although, I know Peter would try to sneak in my room from time to time. I already find the room i'm sharing with Chris, and were unpacking.

"I can't believe I let you drag me out here." She whines.

"Admit it, you know your happy you came" I say while laughing.

We hear a faint knock at the door. I walk over. It's Peter.

"Ready to go?" Peter says charmingly.

"I've been ready!" I say excitedly.
