It saddens me that several people have taken issue with the fact that Izuku might be gay or bisexual in this story... is that really that big of an issue?

Not reading gay romances solely for being gay, that is kind of homophobic just as it would be judgmental and heterophobic for me, a gay man, to have issue with straight romances which are in basically everything. I would have to blind myself to literally 99.9 percent of stories, books and whatever...

Keep that in mind.

Izuku is not overpowered, just using intelligence to excel. He is really smart and I am being a little inspired by people like Batman, the various Robins, the Arrow, the Black Canary and so on...

I hope to make this an amazing story for you all to enjoy...

Back in the room with the screens, the various teachers of U.A. went over the scores for the examinees. Aizawa listened to them all, not particuarly interested in speaking himself, content to just listening for the time being.

"Check out the results from the exam," Ectoplasm said.

"Wow, the second place student didn't even have rescue points," Midnight replied.

"He took down those faux villains like an ace. When most of the other examinees were running from the big obstacle, he stayed focused on letting the smaller targets get in close, and then counterattacking. That kid is tough," Snipe says as the screen shows the blonde haired explosive boy during the exam destroying robots.

Aizawa was impressed with that boy, Katsuki Bakugo if he read the file right, but he seemed highly agressive and bloodthirsty which could be an issue.

"Then there is the First place student, I do believe that is a record. One hundred and twenty three points, I have never seen anyone get close to that score." Midnight comments, her eyes wide and pleased as the boy's image took the screen.

"He's not the first UA hopeful to take out that giant robot. Though, it's been a while since I saw someone blow it away with one attack," Snipe says, as the screen shows the Green haired boy effortlessly destroying the robot, though how was a mystery. " How did he do that, from what I saw from him the entire time he seemed to be using a pair of stalves. Perhaps he has an electric quirk and he uses them to channel his powers, a support weapon? I do remember seeing electricity coming off of them, and they managed to overload a few of Power Loader's robots if I remember his whinning right."

"Hm..." Aizawa said, leaning on the back wall, finally more curious.

Nezu's laughter snapped them all out of their conversation. "Your partially right, they are electric but no quirk was involved."

Aizawa was sure he could feel Snipe's frown. " Then isn't that cheating? I mean support weapons need to complement a quirk."

"I had to change the rules for Izuku, at least slightly. More of a nudge really." Nezu smiled at them all. "You see, the boy in question is entirely quirkless."

"WHAT!" Half of the teachers barked out, making Eraserhead sigh even though he was genuinely interested in Nezu's statement.

'We've never had a quirkless student, but the kid is skilled. He took down the robots with great effeciency, it is clear his style is designed to limit exhaustion and take advantage of his surrondings... hmmm, finally a logical student.'

Nezu chuckled. "Yes, he has the Pinkie toe joint to prove it. Entirely without a Quirk, he crafted those escrima sticks himself and trained himself to use them over the course of ten months. From what I gather he is a skilled mechanic, entirely self taught at that. He also had the highest academic score our school has ever seen."

"Wouldn't..." Snipe said slowly. "Wouldn't it be better for him to be in the Support class then? For his safety ontop of his skill?"

"I assume you mean due to his Quirklessness?" Nezu asked, getting a nod. "The boy is blackbelt in Judo, skilled in Kickboxing and using those Escrima sticks. He is a master strategist and tactican and has the highest score on record for this exam... all without a Quirk. I will not allow bias to rob us of a potentailly incredible hero. No, the boy has been accepted into the Hero Program... and the Support program!"

Midnight frowned. "Care to explain?"

"The boy sent in analysis work and the schematics for his his Escrima sticks and his training regimine to help future heroes. He would excel in either course but asked to be in both. From what he explained in his letter, requesting this very thing, he is fluent in English and can test out of a few other classes. We may be retesting his Written test and evaluating him for a Mental Quirk just to be sure, but if he is as intelligent and accomplished as he seems then we will allow this and allow him to join both courses so he can grow more fully.

If you are curious as to how this would work, he will monitor the students in his class and write analysis on them for training as part of his homework. He will spend at least three classes a week working on creation and building, we do not want to waste his mechanical skills... which also need to be fully evaluated. The boy's potential is vast. Besides, we have had others take both courses at one, Power Loader is but one example of that. Aizawa did this as well, helping to create his capture weapon."

Aizawa smirked at the various teachers that turned to him, disbelieving. "It's true, it would be illogical to stiffle the boy's potential. I wonder how it will translate to hero work though... Nezu, can you give me a rundown of his personality once you have your meeting?"

"You will be joining me for the meeting so there is no need, using your Quirk to ensure he has no Quirk enchancing his mental faculities or is helping him to cheat."

Before he left, Aizawa heard many of the teachers muttering, many accusing Izuku of cheating, buying his way in or worse... a few had issue with his lack of a quirk...

It was all... Illogical and he felt ill as he listened to it.

'Idiots, I fight quirkless more often then not and they see no issue with my being a hero. My quirk doesn't make me stronger, faster or more durable, I risk it all when I fight just like that kid... if only they would look at him like that, the kid might have been able to progress even more then he has already... I wonder if I should talk to him about his training, see if I can help... if he has real potential that is...'

The strain of retaking the test, modified though it was, left Izuku with a bit of a headache. Still he finished it in about twenty minutes, twenty five minutes faster then his alloted time. He waited for Principle Nezu to go over it, all while a handsome but scruffy man looked at him from the far corner, his gaze intense and kind of scary even for the newly improved Izuku.

After about five minutes of waiting, Nezu looked up. "Well, it looks like everything is in order, you have a perfect score once again. I am sorry for that, but we have to be sure. I am amazed, Midoryia, your work is amazing."

He actually blushed, but sat up taller. " Thank you, Sir."

The man in the corner finally moved. "I checked, no changes when I used my Quirk. He really is quirkless, so there was no Quirk based cheating." His eyes flashed red for a moment, his hair lifting.

"Eraser head!"

The man turned to him, a little stunned. "You know who I am?"

"I study heroes for fun, I don't know a whole lot, your too underground, but I know who you are! I wrote an analysis on you in my notebooks, page sixteen I think."

Blinking, The man actually gave him quick soft smile. "I see."

"Wonderful, your getting along. Izuku Midoriya, this is Shoto Aizawa, your homeroom teacher for class 1-A." Nezu declared, looking excited as a puppy. "I asked him here so no one can claim you cheated, it is an unfortunate truth that due to your lack of a quirk people are quick to cast judgment on you for your successes and failures. We had to quell them for your saftey and wellbeing, I am sorry for that but it is how our world works."

Izuku's smile, radiant as it was, seemed to stun the teachers. "You'd be the first besides my mom to care enough to help me, so honestly I'm honored!"

"Though that makes me sad, I am not suprised..." Nezu sighed. "Still, you are an accomplished student already... we have about half an hour... can you explain how you managed to not only become so talented, but so capable mentally that you can handle both courses? I am rather eager to hear what you've been up to, I have read your training plan but I wasn to know more."

Izuku paused, not sure how much to tell the being before him... and yet something in him said to be honest, maybe it was their genuinely curious eyes, their open caring expressions... and so he was. Words poured from him as fast as he thought, explaining the last ten months, what brought it about, how he changed, his countless plans and changes and adjustments... he even told them what he had done in the few months between the exam and actually starting school, which mostly involved contuning his training, working on bettering his mechanical knowledge, telling his Mom everything ( who was even prouder now that she had context and had started to work out as well with him at the Gym since he mentioned worrying about her health. Turns out she was an expert swimmer and had dropped about fifteen pounds all her own.) it took almost ten minutes but when he was done, Izuku felt tired but in a good way.

"Wow, that is something." Aizawa said, with wide eyes. "Nezu, remind me to kill All Might later, leaving a kid on a rooftop after crushing their dreams,.. foolish. Especially after a day so traumatic. Even more, you should have been hospitalized after the attack, the Sludge could have caused an infection or who knows what..."

"Indeed... you are a strong person, Midoriya... never forget that." Izuku blushed here, at Nezu's words, still not entirely used to praise despite his accomplishments. "However lingering on the past helps no one. What we can do is forge forward, award your exceptional work. Your training will not be in vain, I am sure you noticed the extra pieces to this test. It was redesigned to test you out of English, Art and History, which you have. You will be instead go to Support courses like Science and Construction as well as General Support to work on your Analysis. I already have your schedule having anticipated your passing." The creature, who Izuku was sure was a stoat of all things, handed him a piece of paper. "If you start to struggle, feel free to speak to me and we can adjust."

Moved by the care he was being shone, Izuku nodded. " Thank you, sir... both of you."

"Not an issue in the slighest, I do love to see my students excel. I should warn you that your first few support weeks will be dedicated to evaluation to see where you are, but since you created those sticks I think we can call you an expert at the least, and self taught at that. Oh that reminds me, Power Loader saw that you destroyed your sticks before, he has recreated your stick and adjusted them to make them better. They will be included in your hero costume, as will a gun with rubber bullets since you also put in that you are a well trained with a gun. Snipe has agreed to test you on Saturday, if you are willing to come to school then, to make sure you are capable."

"Awesome!"

"I am glad you think so! Now, Go with Aizawa to class and have a wonderful first day."

Izuku stopped as he stood, pausing as something occured to him. "Sir... not to be a tattle tale, but I should warn you about Katsuki Bakugo... he is a violent, cruel sociopath with few if any redeemable qualities. The truth is he is more likely to maim a student here if not contained. He was never given consequences at our old school, for anything which includes actual assult of people including myself. If you need proof, there is literally hundreds of hours of video footage at Aldera Highschool to back me up..."

Nezu and Aizawa both sharpened their stares, with Nezu saying in a very cold voice. "Did you know that I was experimented on for many years? I do not tolerate abuse or bullying, neither does Aizawa. I will not cast judgement already, people can change but I will make it very clear to Bakugo that his behavior is unnacceptable if he does bully, abuse or be cruel to anyone. Aizawa will do the same."

"Yes, yes I will... let's go kid, we have stuff to get down to."

For the first time in forever, Izuku felt actually hopeful about school... maybe it wouldn't be that bad afterall...

::::

"Take your feet off of that desk now!"

The sound of the moron's voice made Izuku groan, he was not in the mood to deal with stupid people, he was far too happy for that. Still, he had little choice... and so he opened the door, entirely aware that his teacher had vanished from behind him for... some reason. He wasn't entirely sure why...

"Huh?" Bakugo, his feet resting on his desk, said looking a little confused.

"It's the first day and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property, you cretin!"

"You're kidding me, right? Your old school put a stick up your ass? Or were you born with it?" Good ol Bakugo... idiot.

"Uh... Let's start over. I'm Tenya Iida from the Somei Private Academy," Iida says, as if he could make friends with Bakugo.

"Somei, huh? So you must think you're better than me. I'm gonna have fun tearing you a new one," Bakugo replied.

"You would threaten me? Your own classmate? Are you sure you're in the right place?"

"Ha!"

The two boys then look over to see Izuku standing at the door, both a little stunned. "Huh? It's him," Iida says. Everyone in the class turns to look at Izuku.

"Yo!" He smiled at everyone, only mildly nervous.

Iida begins to walk over towards him. "Good morning! My name is Tenya Iida from..."

Izuku interrupts him, "Yeah, I Know. I'm Izuku Midoriya, your the rude boy from the exam. "

Iida cringed. "I am sorry for that, I tend to be a tad... intense... anyway, I have something to say. You realized that there was something more to the practical exam, didn't you?"

"What are you talking about... oh the rescue points, no, not really. I just saw someone and sought to save them, it was instinctive more then anything even if I was planning on killing the big robot."

Iida's eyes widened. "You must have very powerful quirk to have accomplished that!"

"Not at all actually." He would have explained more but a familar voice drew their attention to the door.

"Hey! I recognize that messed-up hair! Midoriya!" Uraraka says as she walks in, looking quite nice in her uniform.

He smiled at her. "I should probably be thanking you for going in and talking to Mic about trying to give me points, it was very sweet of you." Izuku tried to keep his smile down but he had been really moved by her attempted sacrifice.

"Huh? How'd you know about that?"

"They showed it to me."

From his seat, Bakugo fumed at the sight of Deku. It took everything not to lash out at the boy he so loathed. His mind ached with need, the need to know how the nerd got into U.A. without a Quirk. A flashback formed immediately, his mind moving to when he last saw the boy.

"I can't believe we have not one, but two students heading off to UA! And to think you're one of them, Midoriya. It's a miracle," Their teacher told them, him and Deku as they stood before them.

Izuku frowned. "You do realize I have the highest score in their history, right? In both the academic and the practical exam?"

Their teacher stuttered, unable to really respond to that.

After they finished talking to their teacher, both boy's went outside and Bakugo snapped a little, reaching for Deku, only to get slammed into the wall before he could blink. His shoulder screamed in agony as Deku twisted his arm.

"Seriously, I thought we established how bad of an idea attacking me is?"

"What did you do to pass the exam? You must have cheated somehow, right? I'm supposed to be the first and only student from this crappy school to get into UA, but you had to screw that all up. I warned you not to apply!" He yelped as Izuku tightened his grip, a crackling sound rang through his ears as he realized how close he was to losing a limb.

"Listen well, I earned my spot there, I scored better then you. I even beat that giant robot, not even you did that. Get over yourself before I deal with you more painfully, Katsuki."

In a blur, he was thrown away where he skidded on the ground but before he could retaliate Deku had disappeared, stomping away.

'I'm gonna ruin that little bastard. Right after I figure out how he got in,' Bakugo thought to himself. 'I don't care how good at combat he's become, he won't best me again.'

''''

"What do you think we're doing today besides orientation? I wonder what our teachers are like. I can't wait to meet everybody!" Uraraka says with great excitment, making Izuku laugh.

Another familar voice rang out at that instant. "If you're just here to make friends then you can pack up your stuff now," Aizawa was there, behind them, lying on the floor in a yellow sleeping bag looking like a caterpillar.

Izuku could not help but laugh.

"U-Uh.." Uraraka stutters as they turn around to see Aizawa.

"Welcome to UA's hero course," Aizawa says as he unzips part of his sleeping bag and drinks a jelly pouch. Aizawa gets up and unzips the rest of his sleeping bag. "It took eight seconds before you all shut up. that's not gonna work. Time is precious. Rational students would understand that. Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa. Your teacher," Aizawa says to the class. "Right let's get to it. Put these on and head outside," From within his bag, the man pulled out what seemed to be a uniform.

Izuku laughed a little more, before moving to go change, happy to finally get started. 'I wonder what is going to happen... he seems competant and he cares. Can't be too bad... I hope.'

"""

Shoto frowned as he walked out of the room, waiting for his students to change. 'I wonder how this kid is going to do, Midoriya has no quirk... how will he pass my test. I guess my test is somewhat illogical... perhaps a mental test, he is supposed to be an expert at analysis. I haven't read his notebooks yet, so a live demonstration will have to do it seems...'

Girding himself, the man waited for his students, hiding just how eager he was to see them display what they could do. He may be famous for expulsion but that didn't mean he liked doing that. He really wanted them to excel, all of them, and he wanted them to prove him wrong in all ways.

'Show me what you got, kids, prove me that you are worth my effort...'
