Meredith and Cristina walked to the OR. On their way they met Owen and the whole situation was pretty awkward. Meredith looked at him with pity while Cristina and Owen couldn't look in each other's eyes.
Meredith quickly pulled Cristina by her Arm to end this awkward encounter.
"So, Jackson... What do you think?" Meredith restarted their conversation from CT. Cristina didn't say anything for a few moments. Her mind was racing. 'Avery... He is hot, he is good looking and from the looks Kepner had back when she started hooking up with him, he must be pretty skilled... This man is candy... I think I want candy, I will ask him...'
Cristina finally answered "Yeah, I guess I could ask him... I mean he looks like he's good and I wanna know if he's any good... I need to evaluate my staff..." at the last bit they both started to laugh pretty hard.
They reached the elevators and didn't have to wait before the doors opened. Only one of the people who were in the elevator didn't exit. When the doors closed Cristina and Meredith looked at who was there with them and it was Jackson Avery.
"Cristina, this is your chance." Meredith whispered. "Her chance for what?" Jackson asked. "Avery, I need a favor... A... Sexual favor... No strings Attached, just Sex..." Cristina just blurted out. "Uhm okay, I guess..." He answered. "I'm staying at the Archfield, room number 247. Are you free tonight at 9?", Cristina asked and Jackson just nodded his head when the elevator stopped.
Meredith just looked at both of them with a humored expression before she said "Now that you both planned Our hot sex date, Cristina and I have to go because this is our floor. Come on Cris." "Uhhm bye." said Jackson with a stunned look he really didn't expect Cristina Yang asking him for sex...
In the scrub room both Meredith and and Cristina didn't say a word while scrubbing in but Meredith gave Cristina some courious looks.
"I really didn't think you would make this thing sound only like business. Of course I know you but I didn't think you would schedule sex like a business meeting..." Meredith said while entering the OR.
The surgical team in the OR gave both doctors some really strange looks. "Mind your own business." Cristina said sternly. "I know Nurse Bokhee and I know she isn't a gossiper but I can't say the same thing about the rest of you... So if anyone other than the people in this room ever hear about what you heard, I know things about you... And I won't mind to tell some gossipy nurses about it... 10 blade please." Cristina said threatening the others. Another "10 blade please" was audible from Meredith, who started tooperate on Mr. Millers Appendix.
They completed the surgery without further complications and both left for the day because it already was 7pm. Meredith had to get her kids home and Cristina went to get ready for her meeting with Jackson.
