Greetings to you all, hope you haven't been waiting long for this one. I won't lie this story is hard cause I really got to think about what else is going on around the timeline of where chichi is sick, like what else is going one instead of just that. I think I'm on the right track of it so please humour me lol. But enough from me, I'm sure you're all eager to read on. Chapter 5 – Move to Kame House

Yamcha and Krillen filled the plane up with some stuff With Trunks and Vegeta keeping a look out if the Androids were getting closer.

'They should be arriving here soon, we need to get Goku away from here'

'Well if the Moron will hurry up then we can move to a better location! Kakarott! Get moving!' Vegeta shouted as Goku walked out of his home with chichi tightly in his arms, she looked so pale and small, he looked down at her and hated seeing her like that. He needed his wife back, he turned around at his house and sighed then looked at his wife

'We're coming back Chichi, I promise' He said and turned to walk to the plane

'You got everything ready Yamcha? Cause we gotta hurry up what with these androids on their way!' Krillen instructed

'Give me a minute and we'll get going!' Yamcha argued

'I appreciate you guys helping' Goku softly smiled

'We aren't gonna blame you for this Goku. This is your wife! She's one of us, and we protect our own' Krillen smiled

'Here Goku let me take her into the plane' Yamcha offer as Goku tightened his grip.

'Its fine, I've got her.'

'Buddy, you need to rest yourself as we fly, give yourself a break, I'll be gentle I promise' Yamcha said as Goku nodded agreeing and gently placed Chichi in Yamcha's arms

'Just be careful'

'It's okay buddy. I know how important she is to you' Yamcha responded and gently carried her

'I don't know why, but I never felt more protective of her then I ever have before' Goku sighed looking at her in Yamcha's arms

'Well she's your wife. Just proves how much you love her' Trunks Softly responded and placed a hand on Goku's shoulder as Goku nodded

'I should tell her more often as I do.'

'I think she knows' Trunks smiled

'Hey, I feel someone else coming' Krillen said as they looked up and saw Gohan flying towards them, Gohan looked down and looked confuse to what was going on, he landed in front of his house and saw the commotion

'Hey guys what's going on?' Gohan asked as he looked to his dad and his face dropped when he saw his unconscious mother in Yamcha's arms 'MOM!' He yelled and ran over

'Gohan its okay!' Goku said as Gohan looked panicked

'Dad what's happened to her!?' He asked

'She's Sick, and we gotta move her because the androids are coming, so we're going to Kame house where it'll be safe for now.'

'Yeah so you better get on the ship Gohan, we are about to take off' Krillen said as Gohan, Goku and the others headed into the ship, Gohan layed out a bed on the ship for his mother as Yamcha gently placed her on the bed. Gohan sat next to his mom, trying not to cry, he didn't like seeing her like this.

'What's happening to her dad?!' Gohan asked as Goku sat down next to his son Looking down at his sleeping love

'You're mother, has a heart virus Gohan, according to Trunks ,I was supposed to get it and I was said to die but the future Bulma made this medication to help me recover, but for some reason, you mom got it instead of me' He answered

'But she will get better right?'

'Of course she will, you're mom is one of the strongest people I know and love, if anyone can fight this she can! I just need to be with her until she's better' Goku said

'Is that why you left the fight with the android, you felt her distress?'

'Yes Gohan, I didn't know what was happening, I just know I needed to get back to her'

'Well as fun as this is to watch, I gotta go' Vegeta huffed

'Where are you going father?' Trunks asked

'Away from here' Vegeta huffed, went super sayien and took off into the sky

'So… Vegeta is a super sayien now?' Goku asked as Gohan nodded as Chichi groaned in pain in her sleep

'Dad…. she will be okay right? You said you died in that other timeline, what if she….?'

'She won't Gohan! Okay?' Goku said sternly as Gohan nodded as Yamcha got into the plane and took off into the sky heading to Kame House

….

'We should arrive at kame House in a couple of hours, how's she doing Goku?' Yamcha asked whilst flying the plane, Goku looked over his wife who layed there resting and he gently placed his hand on her head to feel her temperature

'She's still burning up' He answered

'Don't worry buddy, we'll get her better you'll see, she'll be back to her normal self.' Krillen assured him. Goku gave a smile and noticed Gohan doing some homework

'Gohan, what are you doing?' He asked

'Mom would want me to do some homework, so I thought I can do some math problems' He said as Goku softly smiled, he knew chi would like that, Trunks looked at the sight of the mighty warrior comforting his wife and never realised the strong bond the two of them share. His mother never mentioned it to him. It amazed him on how much of an impact she had on the mighty Sayien.

'So what's the plan when we see those androids again?' Krillen asked

'Well considering I know what they are capable of, we better ensure they get nowhere near Kame house until Goku is ready to fight them' Trunks instructed

'So, wait... Trunks, I'm curious. If you came back in time again to help us, does that mean we already failed?' Gohan asked

'Actually, turns out that's not how time travel works.' Trunks answered

'So you're saying I can't just take your time machine, go back in time, and tell myself not to order the bbq ribs that gave me food poisoning?' Krillen asked

'I don't know why you used that analogy. But no, you couldn't. I mean, you could, but it wouldn't be the same you. You see, when I travel back to the past, I'm technically going to a different universe...' Trunks explained

'Oh, you mean multiverse theory?' Gohan asked

'Wait, what?'

'Yeah. With every decision, it creates a branch in the timeline. Whenever you travel back in time, you're actually entering another parallel universe.' Gohan explained

'How could you possibly-?' Trunks was shocked a 10 year kid knew the theory of time travel

'I've been studying theoretical physics. Although, at this point, I guess it's just physics.'

'Looks like your mom taught you well Gohan' Goku smiled as Gohan looked down at his mother who slept, still as if she were in pain

'Yeah. She taught me a lot'

'I don't get it. Trunks, If it doesn't affect your timeline, why even come back to ours and tell us anything in the first place?' Yamcha asked

'Well, besides wanting to make at least one timeline without the world being destroyed... my mother didn't tell me until after I'd already done it once.' Trunks said

'Well the best we can do is protect our universe and hope that 'Our' Bulma will have an idea on something' Then suddenly the phone starts ringing with the call being from Bulma with a pop ringtone

'Oh, speak of the devil, that's her ringtone.' Krillen said

'So, someone wanna get that? Kind of flying the plane!' Yamcha said

'Oh, fine.' He said and answers the phone 'Krillin spea—'

'Shut up, I've got some important news.' She answered

'Good or bad news?' Krillen asked

'It depends... Is Trunks there?'

'Right behind me!' Krillen

'Hi, Mom.' Trunks blushed

'Hey...I just got the strangest call from some farmer in the countryside 50 miles out of Ginger Town; said he found one of our vehicles out there.' She explained

'Wow, this is so interesting. Does it have anything to do with the androids we're fighting?' Krillen asked sarcastically

'Shut up and it might. I'm faxing over the picture he took.' Bulma huffed as the machine on the plane began to print

'You have a fax machine?' Krillen asked

'What's a fax machine?' Trunks asked

'something so old that I think your mom and it are the same age' Krillen joked as Yamcha laughed

'Just shut up and show it to Trunks!' Bulma yelled as the picture printed and Trunks looks at the picture

'What? No, this can't be right! This is my time machine!' Trunks gasped

'Maybe you misplaced it.' Krillen suggested

'That's impossible! I put it away in its capsule!' Trunks replied

'Are you sure?' Gohan asked

'Of course I'm sure! Here, Its In here' Trunks said revealing his capsule

'Huh that is weird' Goku said

'I say we better investigate it' Trunks said

'I'll meet you over there, I gotta check this out myself too' Bulma answered and hung up the phone

'Well I better head over there too. I'll meet you guys back at Kame House' Trunks said and opened the back door of the plane.

'Wait! I'll come with you Trunks' Gohan said

'Are you sure?' Trunks asked

'Yeah! We gotta find out what's going on' Gohan said and kissed his mother gently on the cheek 'Look after her dad' Gohan instructed

'Be careful Gohan' Goku said as Gohan nodded and headed off with Trunks into the Sky on their way to Ginger Town. Goku looks back at his wife and smiles softly,

'It's gonna be okay Chichi. We'll get you better soon.' Goku softly smiled as Krillen watched

'Wow you really have matured in the last 18 years of me knowing you Goku' Krillen smiled

'You think so?' He asked

'Chichi couldn't be more lucky to have you'

'I can't lose her Krillen, everything I do, its for her, and our life together. I don't know what I'd do

if…'

'It won't come to that, you keep taking care of her and she'll be up waving her frying pan before you

know it' Krillen joked as Goku chuckled

'Hey Goku, don't you think you should send a message to The ox King? He'll want to know what's happening to his daughter' Yamcha suggested

'I guess you're right, I'll send a message for him to come to Kame house' Goku said, hoping to get there as quickly as possible

…

Meanwhile, Gohan and Trunks were quickly flying toward thee location of Trunks' is so called time machine and the young teenage sayien was getting rather nervous.

'All right, we should be getting close to the site.' Trunks yelled

'Um, Mr. Trunks?' Gohan called out

'What's up?'

'If you don't mind me asking... Do you know how my dad contracted the virus in your timeline?' He asked

'Why are you asking?'

'Because I find strange that my mom is the one to have it instead. She must have done something that he didn't'

'I don't think that's how it works. And I wish I could tell to how Goku got the virus in our timeline, but none of us had any idea.'

'That doesn't reassure me' Gohan sighed

'But Hey Don't worry, from what I heard, you're mom is strong and she'll get through this with Goku by her side' Trunk smiled as Did Gohan

'She will! Thanks Trunks' Gohan said as Trunks looked ahead

'Hey, what's that?' He points at a mossed up time machine and they land near the mysterious time machine

'Wow it's defiantly stinks!' Gohan responded

'Well, this definitely looks my time machine... but it also looks like it's been here for ages.' Trunks added

'Ooh, a mystery! I never get to solve mysteries! Like Sherlock Holmes or Batman! Usually we're just busy fighting people. Like Bruce Lee... or Batman.' Gohan joked as Trunks smiled, when suddenly they heard the noise of a plane lowering towards them and friendly face waving, It was Bulma showing up in her plane

'Hey!' She called out

'Oh, look, your mom's here!' Gohan said

'Oh, good...' Trunks responded as Bulma lands her plane near both of them and gets out

'Hey there, Gohan! And... son...' She greeted awkwardly

'Mother...' Trunks blushed as Bulma looked to Gohan who looked troubled

'Hey are you okay Gohan?' She asked

'You haven't heard about mom have you?' He asked as Bulma looked confused

'Chichi? No why? Is she okay?'

'No She's contracted a heart virus that Goku was supposed to have, I don't know how that happened but now it has and she's In a bad way' Trunks explained

'Oh my god Poor Chichi! Poor Goku! And you Gohan!' Bulma expressed her worries

'I'm scared Bulma' Gohan said as she gave him a hug!

'Hey listen! Your mom is tough! She wouldn't let this virus beat her and she certainly wouldn't want you to worry about her, the best thing you can do now is be there for her, and she'll be better before you know it' She smiled as Did Gohan

'Thanks Bulma. Then I guess we better investigate this' Gohan pointed ad the mysterious time machine

'So, is that your time machine?' She asked her future Child

'Well, it looks like mine, but it can't be mine!' He answered and takes out a capsule and throws it near the mysterious time machine, which transforms into his own time machine. 'This one here is the one I used to travel back in time with. If you'll notice, it has the word "Hope!" written on the side.' He explained and starts removing the moss of the side of the mysterious time machine. 'So, unless this one has it written in the same place, we...' he gasps and sees the word "Hope!" written on the mystery machine 'I can't believe it! It really is my time machine!' He gasped as Gohan and Bulma looked at one another confused

'Wait... Why "hope!"?' Bulma asked

'Because you called me our last hope.' He answered

'Holy crap, that's so cheesy! What, do I have, like, a ton of cats, too?' She joked as Gohan looked up at the top of the machine

'Hey, anyone else notice the hole on the top?' He called out as Bulma and Trunks took a look

'Huh... weird. Do you think whoever was piloting it was attacked?' Bulma asked as Gohan and Trunks hover above the hole on the time machine

'Actually, I don't think so. Considering the curvature of the melted glass, combined with the lack of any glass or damage in the cockpit, we're safe to assume... whatever shot the canopy came from the inside!' Gohan declared leaving Trunks confused

'And what does that tell us?' Trunks asked

'Um., that the blast came from the inside...?' Gohan said as Trunks opens the glass canopy and jumps inside.

'Huh.' Trunks looks curious and finds two pieces of a purple shell. 'So, any idea what these are?' He asked as Gohan inspected

'Ah, I think I kicked an alien that looked like that once!' He said as Bulma called out

'Hey, let me get a look at it! I wanna help, too!' she said as Gohan gives her the purple shell for her to inspect. 'As the daughter of the world's leading class scientist with doctorates in both bioengineering and evolutionary biology, I can only deduce...that this is a mutant coconut. Either that or an egg.' She answered

'An egg!? *gasps* I know! Trunks! Whatever made that hole hatched from this egg! You keep examining the time machine, I'm gonna go search for clues!' Gohan called out and went to look around the forest.

'Well, at least one of us is having fun with this... what the hell is up with this timeline?' He asked himself as he and his past mother inspected the machine. Something weird was defiantly going on.

…

The Plane finally landed on Roshi's island as Krillen and Yamcha jumped out and into the house to explain the situation at hand, Goku gently picked up his unconscious wife as she groaned in pain

'I'm sorry chi, It'll be over soon I promise' He said as her eyes fluttered gently giving him a glimpse of hope

'Go…..ku…..' She groaned, She talked! He was so pleased

'Chichi its me! It's Goku please say something else! Anything!' He said as her head went heavy and fell on his shoulder, her body began to shudder and her groaning in pain returned, Goku walked out the plane with his wife in hand and into the house, Roshi was explained the situation By Tien who was already there with Chioatzu

'Goku, Place your dear wife in the master bedroom upstairs. She'll be comfortable in there' He instructed as Goku walked up and gently into the room and placed his wife on the bed and under the covers and fluffed up her pillow, her hair was clumped in knots due to it not being brushed and lying in bed, Goku grabbed a hairbrush from their bag and gently began brushing her hair for her. Goku liked playing with her hair, it was always so soft and smooth, and it just framed her face perfectly.

'You see? We'll be safe here Chi, it'll be a long while before the androids work out we're here. And I promise I won't leave your side. So I need you to make me a promise, promise me you'll come out of this! Because its only been a few hours and I have hated every single second because I hate to see you like this! So please chi, give me a sign you're gonna come out of this in one piece' He whispered as her face was sweating but she looked peaceful, Goku gently kissed her cheek unaware of the old master standing by the door

'Never thought I'd see you brushing a woman's hair' Roshi said walking into the room and saw the look of fear and concerned on his strongest students

'Why is this happening to her Master Roshi? Why couldn't it have been me? She doesn't deserve this' He said as Roshi gently nodded

'Goku if I had an answer I would tell you, for some reason this fate has been placed upon Your Chichi. But I don't doubt that she will fight this and be back with us in no time' Roshi said as Goku nodded agreeing. When suddenly, her body began to tremble again and her voice screamed out in pain, her hands clenching to her heart as if she wanted to rip it out of her body!

'AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' She screamed at the top of her lungs

'Goku what do we do?!' Roshi panicked

'Its okay I just have to give her the…' He checked his pockets but to his horror! The medicine wasn't there!

'What is it boy?' Roshi asked

'no no no no no no no ! Where is it!?' Goku panicked as his wife continued to scream at the top of her lungs! She felt like her entire body was being burned by fires of hell!

'Goku tell me what you need?!' Roshi yelled

'The medicine! It was in my pocket but now it's gone!' He yelled as he looked around the floor in case it fell out when suddenly the door bursted open!

'Goku Here it was on the plane!' Yamcha threw the medicine as Goku grabbed it and gently gave her a dose! Her screams stopped and her body relaxed, however she still looked as if she was in pain, shivering and sweating and her eyes clenched shut in agony. Goku couldn't relax! He was getting frustrated and tense! How long was this gonna go on for?! His wife was being tortured by her own body and all he could do was wait!

'This can't keep going on! How long until this medication kicks in! I need her Back!' Goku yelled

'Goku yelling will not help you or your wife, try to remain calm, it'll take its toll in due time' Roshi answered as Goku nodded and sat next to his wife just gazing at her, Roshi had never seen anything as bad as that happen to Chichi, but most of all, he had never Seen Goku look more afraid. He prayed to Kami that Chichi will come out of this in one piece, and especially since Goku is needed to fight the androids, He just hoped there was nothing else to be concerned about.

…

Meanwhile Back in the forest, Gohan was happily humming to himself as he continues searching for clues when he comes across something interesting

'Oh, hello. And what are you? Hey, Trunks! I think I found a clue! Over here in the forest!' Gohan called out as Trunks is seen running up to Gohan with Bulma behind him. Trunks and Bulma both scream at the sight of a hideous cocoon of a monster just layed out on the ground

'Oh, my God! Is that thing alive!?' Bulma shrieked

'No, pretty sure that this is just a mold.' Gohan answered

'Something crawled out of that?' Bulma whimpered in fear

'I believe so, and whatever it is I can't help but feel like it means trouble' Gohan added as Trunks began reaching his hand inside the cocoon

'Whatever was in here might just be the creature that came out of that she—' he stopped in mid sentence when he touches something and takes his hand out to sees it oozing with a purple fluid 'Eww what is this stuff!? Its sticky!' He moaned annoyed

'Considering how fresh this mold is, it's likely that whatever shed its skin did so very recently, meaning that it might very well still be here!' Gohan suggested

'Okay well if there is something out there now, we better go warn the others about what we found. I'll head back to Capsule corp and see if I can find any more reaserch on Dr Gero and his androids, there must be something we can do' Bulma said as she hopped into her plane

'Be careful Flying Back mom, you don't know what could attack you'

'Don't worry about me, Gohan send my love to your mom. She'll pull through this I'm sure of it' Bulma assured the young Demi sayien

'Thank you Bulma, I appreciate that' Gohan said as her plane took of into the sky and heading towards capsule corp

'So what do we do now?' Trunks asked

'Let's head back to Kame house, we gotta go tell them what we found, not to mention I need to be with my mom' Gohan said as they both took off into the sky

….

Bulma flew her plane thinking about what she and the boys and found. It was so strange! And as if the Androids weren't bad enough.

'this is so bizarre, I wonder what could be out there, or even is it dangerous?' She asked herself when suddenly she sees an incoming call from Kame House 'Oh good' She said sarcastically and answers the phone 'What?' She responds

'So you guys are by Ginger Town, right?' Krillen asked

'We were... Why?'

'Cause there is some major stuff going on down there.'

'Stuff of what variety, exactly?' Bulma asked

'The not-good kind.' Krillen said as he looked at the tv and Yamcha turned up the Volume to listen in on the news headlines

'This is Flash Stormwood reporting live for CQTV here on location in Ginger Town. Mass, unadulterated panic happening all around. Just moments ago, screams erupted throughout the streets, only to be followed by deafening silence. Now there seems to be nothing left but a ghost town, littered with the clothes of its former inhabitants. We have yet to find out the reason why.

I cannot say for certain we have any speculations to what has happened to these poor civilians... However, recreational marijuana use was recently legalized in the region. So I believe we can all come to the same conclusion... Something or someone had turned the City of ginger town to a Ghost down, and who knows if any of us are safe. My recommendation is to stay in your homes and remain safe and above all, remain calm. Back to You Hal!' the reporter goes on and Krillen gets back on the Phone to Bulma

'Someone should probably go check that out.' Krillen responded

'Well I'm flying back to C.C so work it out amongst yourselves, Bulma out' Bulma hung up the phone as Gohan and Trunks arrived back to the house

'Hey you guys look worried, What's going on?' Trunks said as Yamcha pointed at the TV

Meanwhile, High up in Kami's lookout, Kami, Mr Popo and Piccolo were there feeling the panic that was emerging from earth, Piccolo took of From Goku's home to be with his other half in order to fuse again, he knew he didn't have the strength to fight the androids as he is now with Goku being unavailable until Chichi was better. It had Been 3 days since her diagnosis and there were no signs of improvement. In order to buy them time, Piccolo knew he needed to power up and fast, However Kami was remaining stubborn about the matter and was waiting for the right Moment. However, they both could feel the energy of many civilians disappearing in an instant! And not in a good way, something bad was happening down on earth and it needed to be stopped! Piccolo was getting Very impatient about the matter and Confronted Kami rather angrily about it!

'Okay, so you felt that one, right?' Piccolo asked annoyed

'I did...' Kami answered

'And you're still just going to put this off?'

'I might...'

'All right, I've had enough of this. I have literally been sitting here meditating...

For Three DAYS! So either Do something or get in my body.'

'Listen, I still need to feel the situation out.' Kami argued

'What the hell is there left to feel out? Between your cryptic warnings and jerking me around, I'm pretty sure an entire city is either missing or DEAD! You're the guardian- start acting like it!' Piccolo yelled as Kami turned to face him

'Yes, I am the guardian- the guardian of this planet! And you wish to take that title from me?'

'Are you kidding me? This can't be about the job! The first chance you had to drop this gig, you tried to hand it off to Goku! So don't pretend you now suddenly care! He is indisposed due to the virus that now attacks his wife! So unless you had anything to do with that!'

'How dare You! I would never!'

'Then you know that I intend to do what I can until he gets back to this fight! So do not argue with me about this any longer than you have! You need to fuse with me and drop this role!'

'But it's still my job! My responsibility!'

'And that's really good and all... but if you don't fuse with me, the entire world you're guarding might be destroyed!'

'MAYBE I'D RATHER IT BE DESTROYED THAN EVER HAVE BE A PART OF YOU AGAIN!' Kami roared as Piccolo gasped, he now realised why.

'So that's what this is all about, huh?' Piccolo asked

'No, no, that's not what I—' Kami tried to explain

'No, no, it's fine. I was kind of a jerk, I get that.'

'Listen, Piccolo... I've been the guardian for over three hundred years. I've seen wars, sickness, death, and worse. All the while trapped on this lookout...unable to interact with the outside world for more than moments at a time. Now, the only chance I have left is giving up my free will to someone else. It's just another prison...' Kami explained as Piccolo felt bad for him

'Wow, I...I didn't—'

'It's fine... I'm done, anyway. You're right. If I don't do this now, we are likely to lose everything. But know this Piccolo: once I fuse with you, the DragonBalls will be no more.'

'Ah, that's not a problem, we've got a whole planet of our people just waiting to make us more.' Piccolo smirked

'I suppose that is true, Be prepared to tell them all that has happened and the peril we will face' Kami ordered as Piccolo nodded

'let's just do this already.' Piccolo instructed as Kami truend to Mr Poop, his faithful companion

'Well, then, Mr. Popo... I suppose this is goodbye.'

'Oh Kami, I will miss you' Mr Popo Said sadly

'Do not fret my friend, I will be at your side always. Look after yourself' Kami bowed as Did mr Popo and then faced Piccolo ready to

'Well? I'm sure you're already familiar with the technique.' Kami said

'Right.' Piccolo answered and places his hand on Kami's chest

'All right, now... I'm ready'

'Yeah, Time to become one again'

'Hmph. All falls to you now Piccolo, I wish you the best.' Kami smirks and suddenly powers up and proceeds to merge with Piccolo the light clears up on the lookout

'Oh my Piccolo are you alright?' Mr Popo asked concerned and Piccolo rose to his feet feeling 10x stronger than before! If not More!

'Thank you Mr Popo. I'm okay! But now I must go and face the threats that now harm our world! Until the next time' Piccolo smirks as he flies off the lookout ready to face the danger.

Back at Kami House, Gohan, Trunks, Krillen, Roshi and Yamcha were all watching the news on the mayhem that was occurring back in ginger town

'Civilians disappearing leaving only their cloths blowing in the wind, our warning to the public is for you to remain in your households. And remain calm' The new reporter went on as Trunks looked annoyed! What was going on?

'So you think this is whatever came from that egg, Trunks?' Gohan asked

'Definitely. This isn't the work of the androids, that's for sure.' Trunks answered

'Not unless they're starting the world's first mandatory nudist colony.' Krillen joked as Yamcha gave him a nudge

'Shut up Krillen' He huffed

'What I was Kidding!' Krillen argued

'I'm going to go down there and check it out myself. I'll admit, after everything that's happened, I'm a little bit worried I'm responsible for these events...' Trunks said

'Wait, are you sure you should go alone?' Gohan asked

'The only other person strong enough to help us right now would be my father. And even if I knew where he was-which I don't-I'm not sure he would help us...' Trunks said and Took off into the sky. Gohan let out a heavy sigh

'You okay boy?' Roshi asked

'Yeah, I'm gonna go check on my parents' Gohan said and headed upstairs and gently and quietly opened the door and saw his dad fast asleep with his head resting on the side of his mom's bed as she slept also, He walked into the room and noticed his mom was looking a little cold so he gently pulled the blanket up to her shoulders with caused Goku to stir and open his eyes

*Yawn* Gohan?' he said drowsily

'Go back to sleep dad, you need to rest' Gohan instructed as Goku rubbed his eyes and looked at his wife. No change.

'I hate seeing her like this Gohan'

'Me too, I wish there was something we could do'

'All we can do is wait until the medicine takes its toll. Then she'll be okay'

'Dad, she will come out of this right?'

'Of course, Son. Your mom is stronger than she looks'

'I know but if that virus was strong enough to take you down, then who knows if it will her' The young sayien asked

'Son…..'

'Look I don't want to ask! But I have to! Could the dragonballs bring her back?'

'Gohan…. If she dies… Shenron will not be able to revive her' Goku said in a low tone as Gohan gasped and looked at his mom, he could feel the tears emerging in his eyes but he shook it off, he didn't want to cry in front of his parents

'Then we better make sure she'll get better' Gohan said and grabbed his bag and pulled out a picture frame, it was a picture of himself, Goku and Chichi all snuggled together on the couch of their home. 'I took this from the house, I thought it would be comforting, she always said this was her favourite picture of us three' Gohan explained and placed next to her bedside

'She said that to me too. She said we needed to do more of that stuff together as a family' Goku sighed as He and Gohan looked at her

'We don't…... do that stuff as much as we should, do we?' Gohan asked

'No we don't. And I feel bad about that, because your mom deserves all our love and attention' Goku answered

'Then let's make her a promise' Gohan said and grabbed her left hand and Goku grabbed her right and they both made their promise

'Chichi, If you pull through from this, I give you my word I will do better on making you feel needed and wanted and have more days of us together, whether its us a family or you and me as husband and wife. I promise I'll do better for you, Because if you think I can survive without you then you are sadly mistaken! I know you are a Strong woman, But I need you get better if not for me, but for Gohan. We both need you here with us. I need you more than anyone! Because I love you so much and I need you, more than you know' Goku said kissing her hand as Gohan continued

'Mom, Please if you pull through from this, I promise I won't test your patience about my studies and I will help more around the house and I'll spend more time with you as your little boy, because even though I act like I'm strong I'm really not! Because I need you mom! And I'm sorry I can't help you through this but I swear I will keep my word if you get better! Because I love you! I love you Mom' Gohan cried as Goku gave his son a hug, giving his son the chance to let it all out, Goku looked his wife desperately.

'Chi, if you can hear me. Please come back to us, we need you' He pleaded Holding his son tight. And at that moment, chichi gently squeezed both their hands as Gohan gasped

'Did you feel that?' He asked

'I did!' Goku answered

'Can she hear us?'

'I hope so son' Goku sighed as they both sat with her, hoping this ordeal will be over soon for all their sakes.

Piccolo flew down to Ginger town and came across the clothes all across the ground, something was defiantly wrong with this picture and he didn't like the tension that was in the air

'What could have down this? Surely not the androids! It wouldn't make sense' Piccolo asked himself

when he felt the presence of someone else around the city

'Where are you?! Show yourself!' He ordered as he heard the footsteps of something getting closer and closer to him, he turns around and sees a monstrous creature confronting him while holding an innocent, unconscious man by his shirt and greeting him in a sinister manner

'Hello... friend.' He hisses
