A/N: ... I guess I suck at sticking to what I say huh. *sigh* Oh well. It seems a lot of you also dislike Sasuke, so I tried to come up with an alternate team composition that would fit the story, but I found nothing. You see I had this whole Uchiha semi arc planned out, and none of the other teams would fit the plot.
I can tell you though that sasuke won't be the spoiled egotistical 'bow before me' Uchiha yhat he was, although he still will be prideful, just not off the roof ego.
I also encountered another problem. When I edit this shit on my laptop, all of the formatting gets lost, except for the underlined. So I redid the italics and bolds 3 times before I just went "Fuck it imma do rgis shit on my phone." So yeah, if any of you know how to fix that, pls help me.

"Itachi call the council for a meeting you are included now." a tall man with raven hair commanded his son.
"Yes father." the boy nodded flickering away to find the council members.
The man looked up, staring at nothing in particular, with a serious gaze look on his face. He was deep in thought, thinking about the coming events and his plans.
'It is time'
A week after meeting Shisui
Naruto had been continuously working on the shunshin, determined to prove to a certain Uchiha that he's got what it takes to learn it, show him just how awesome just how awesome Naruto Uzumaki is.
"Aww come on! Why won't it work?" the boy shouted in frustration. He been trying to apply what he had learnt at the academy, about chakra. It wasn't much since it was just their first year after all, but it still helped him understand a bit more.
He learned that chakra could be channeled to certain body parts to enhance it. Based off of this, he guessed that since shunshin was a speed technique, he would have to c it to his legs.
He had been trying that until he hear a voice call out. "Still trying that I see." the boy turned to see Shunshin no Shisui in the flesh. "You're doing it wrong you know." the blonde growled.
"And how would you know?" the blonde retorted and glared at him.
The raven haired teen gave him a flat look "Ok one, why do you think they call me shunshin no shisui? I know how to tell what's wrong with a shunshin when I see it. Number two, sharingan, remember? I can see you're chakra flow, and I can sot of see where you put your chakra." Shisui explained pointing to his eyes.
The blonde then tilted his head in confusion, "Sharin-wahh?"
Shisui had a look of shock on his face, "You mean you don't know? About the sharingan?" the blonde shook his head. "How?" the boy shrugged.
The teen sighed before he activated his pair of three tomoed sharingan, "Ok look, these," he pointed at his eyes, "are the sharingan. It's the Uchiha clans dojutsu, some call it the ultimate dojutsu."
"Uchiha? you mean you're related to Sasuke?" the boy asked, remembering his classmate's last name.
"You know Sasuke-kun? Yeah, we're cousins. Anyways how 'bout I give you a tip."
The blonde beamed, "Eh, you mean it?" before he remembered his promise. "Wait! I promised I would learn it on my own. So I don't want any hints."
The teen sighed before shrugging, "Alright if that's what you want. I have a mission tomorrow so I gotta go now. Bye!" he Shunshined away, leaving Naruto alone again. The blonde sighed and continued learning the shunshin.'Shisui said something about manipulating my chakra wrongly, but I manipulated it towards my feet. Does that mean it shouldn't be there? Oh well, guess I'll try out other concentrating it in other places as well.'He gave one last sigh before starting again.
One week later...
Naruto had not been able to practice as much as he had wanted to. He still had to attend the academy and learn about the second shinobi war. Naruto hated history lessons, it was just plain boring. This morning in class he had been caught sleeping three times in class, while the teacher just gave up on waking up Shikamaru. Naruto didn't have much progress in learning the shunshin either, he was trying to manipulate his chakra to different parts of his body, and the closest he's gotten is falling flat on the ground.
"Ahhh Dammit!" he cursed as he stood up once more,'Stupid shunshin jutsu! I WILL CONQUER YOU'. "Shunshin no jutsu!" he called out the technique once more, with more determination than ever, causing a massive surge of chakra which leaked out of every inch on his body, along with a poof of smoke. When the smoke cleared away he looked around and found his surroundings unfamiliar.
It took awhile for Naruto to realize what just happened, but the gears inside his head finally started turning '..It worked? It worked!'
"Yatta! It worked! Hell yeah! Now... where am I?" He looked around and realized that he still didn't know where he was. The jutsu may have worked but it was uncontrolled; thus leaving him in the mess he was in now.
After a long walk with Naruto grumbling the whole way, he finally found the place where he started. 'Alright, let's try that again' after taking a deep breath he concentrated his chakra again and tried the jutsu.
"Shunshin no jutsu!" he opened his eyes again hoping to find that the jutsu worked, but a frown fell upon his face when he realized that he had not moved from his original position. 'Ahh why didn't it work? I already got to do it, what'd I do different? Come on Naruto, think. Think... dammit I don't like thinking.' He took a seat on the ground, legs crossed and a hand on his chin in a thinking pose. He sat in silence for a while, trying to remember what he did the last time, trying to remember as much detail as he could.
After awhile, he stood back up and put his hands in a half tiger ram seal, ready to try the jutsu again, he concentrated his chakra once again, only this time in his whole body. He closed his eyes in concentration, 'Please work. Please work. Please work.'
"Shunshin no jutsu!" a puff of smoke engulfed him again, covering his view of his surroundings. When the smoke cleared he looked around frantically, hoping that the jutsu had worked. To his delight, he found himself in a different place once again. "Yatta!" he jumped in joy. Satisfied, he decided to go back and rest before realizing that he had no idea where he was again.
He grumbled again as he started tomake his way back to where he came from. He would have to work on where he shunshined to soon. It would be of no use in a fight trying to get close to the enemy, only to find that you've shunshined off to who knows where. Luckily, he found that he had shunshined a lesser distance the second time, probably due to the small amount of control he got from his first time.
As he returned to the busy streets of konoha, he wore a big smile on his face. Today he had accomplished something, and today he would celevrate it with some ramen.
Little did he know that a pair of special eyes were watching him from afar.
Hokage's office that night...
The old man in the white robes sat behind his desk with a very serious expression on his face. "So the Uchiha are finally going through with their plan. And you say that this is to happen in a month's time?" The hokage looked towards the shinobi in front of him.
"Yes hokage-sama, I was able to convince father to procced to it a month from now instead of the planned one week." The shinobi nodded.
"Itachi, you know what this means, yes?" the boy kept silent and nodded, "I'm sorry Itachi, that it must come to this, but for the good of Konoha, The threat of the Uchiha clan... must be eliminated." Itachi kept silent looking down. The hokage sighed, "I don't know how much time I can give you, but I'll try to make it enough for you to make it far enough." Itachi looked at the hokage and finally decided to speak
"That would be alright Hokage-sama... However, I have a request" The boy looked directly at the eyes of the hokage, "I want to let my brother live. He is innocent, and I do not think that I would be able to kill him." The hokage thought about it, weighing the pros and cons, before he came to his decision.
"Alright, he may live, but no one else, you know the importance of this mission Itachi. If anyone were to know of this, konoha would end up in more trouble than it should have been in."
Itachi gave a small smile, "Hai, thank you Hokage-sama."
"It's the least I can do for you after what you will have to go through, you are dismissed." The boy nodded before disappearing in a body flicker. The hokaga sighed for the umpteenth time of the day.
'I am way too old for this shit. Damn you Minato.'
The next day...
Naruto was excited. Today was the day Shisui came back from his latest mission, and he can't wait to show him how much further he has gotten. He sat there in the academy, daydreaming about being a kickass ninja one day like Shisui was.
After the academy, he went straight to the forest where he trained, expecting to meet Shisui. He sat down on the ground with a grin on his face waiting for the Uchiha to arrive. They had gotten close over the past week, although it was more of an annoying sibling relationship. Naruto didn't see Shisui much either since he's constantly on missions since the past week, but they go out for some ramen sometimes when he arrives.
"Hey kid." Naruto turned around to see the person he was expecting to see Shisui. However, Naruto noticed that he looked exhausted, his eyebags were deep from lack of sleep, his posture says that he's had a rough time.
"Hey, are you alright?" the boy asked in concern.
Shisui gave the kid a sad smile, before turning it turned to a frown, "Mission didn't go to well, we lost 2 people and 3 will completely lose their shinobi careers with their injuries. That's just how the life of a ninja is I guess." he noticed the horrified expression on the boy's face and knelt down to meet his eyes.
"Hey, you said you wanna be a shinobi right? I know you're gonna be great, but you WILL have experiences like this, where you're comrades will die, and you can only hope that they died peacefully."
"But that is the life of a shinobi, we are soldiers, and we are human, even though we can breathe fire, make elemental dragons, and make clones of ourselves. You have to understand that they made the choice to be shinobi, and that they knew the risk they were taking when they did." Shisui stood up and gave a smile. "Now, enough about that. How ya doing kid?"
Naruto's sad expression did a 180 and turned into a grin. "I finally got to do the shunshin!"
"Hn, show me then."
At that Naruto looked away and blushed, "Well I haven't mastered it yet."
"It's okay. Just show me." Shisui smirked.
"Alright, fine" the boy concentrated and made the correct handsigns before calling out the jutsu.
"Shunshin no Jutsu!" with a large puff of smoke the boy disappeared from where he was. However, instead of appearing in some random place, he bumped into one of the trees surrounding the village.
"Oww..." the boy muttered with splinters all over his body as he fell back to the ground.
Shisui burst into laughter at the blonde's misfortune, "Ha, I knew it! HAHAHAHA!" he rolled around the ground still laughing.
Naruto gave Shisui a glare. "I told you I haven't mastered it yet."
Eventually, Shisui's laughter died down and he was able to stand up and talk properly. "Haha...*sigh* that was golden,thanks for that kid, I needed a good laugh. Anyways, you used way too much Chakra on it which is why it was out of control."
"But how do I use less Chakra? I keep on trying to use less, but it ends up the same."
'Ahh the kyuubi probably has something to do with that. The kid's got too much chakra.' Shisui deduced.
"Train to increase your chakra control. It will help you get it use less chakra. Here I'll show you one." he picked up a random leaf on the ground and place it on his hand.
"The goal of this exercise is to float the leaf on top of your hand. Channel your chakra to your palm evenly." he demonstrated it on the leaf, which now floated on top of his palm.
"Cool! Lemme try that!" Naruto picked up a leaf as well and placed it on his palm. Unlike Shisui's demontration, the leaf did not float on his hand, but it flew up like it was blown away from his palm.
"What just happened!" tha boy asked in shock.
"You used too much chakra, but that's okay since that's the point of this exercise. Just keep practicing and you'll get ot down in no time."
The boy groaned at the thought of having to work more to learn the shunshin, but just continued to do it. Shisui smiled at that.
Yep, everything was going great. Although too bad it won't last much longer.
A/N: So the Uchiha are planning something and the Hokage plans to eliminate the threat using Itachi. Damn I wonder what could go wrong.
