Welcome to Day 4: Dating.
Lincoln and Stella were at school.
"Man," Lincoln said. "This holding hands is making me feel very hot. I wish we can keep this going".
"Yeah," Stella commented. "I wish we can do this too".
Lincoln was shocked to the core.
"What did you say?" Lincoln asked.
Stella answered, "I want to be honest with you. I'm too nervous about what will happen to us. My head says stop, but my heart is saying keep going with what we have."
"I don't want you feeling too pressured," Lincoln said. "We can still remain friends".
"It ain't that alone," Stella said. "I started out feeling safe about wanting to stay friends with you, but ever since I met your friends, I knew what it felt like to belong somewhere. Those feelings since I first met you on the bus remained with me to this day. I don't wanna hide it anymore".
"Are you saying that you wanna be my girlfriend?" Lincoln asked.
"I do," Stella said. "If you're okay with it".
"Well," Lincoln started. "Why don't we talk about this over some spaghetti?"
"That would sound really delightful," Stella commented.
"I wish I could talk about it more," Lincoln said. "Right now, class awaits".
Lincoln then strolled off to his first class.
"See you at Lunch, Lincoln," Stella said to him. "This is so going to be a night to remember".
Later that afternoon, Lincoln was brushing his hair when his sisters came into the room.
"Hey Lincoln," Luna said. "What is up with you?"
Lincoln told them, "I'm getting ready to go out on a spaghetti date with Stella Zhau. Sometimes, I feel like whenever I go on a date with other people, I get those little butterflies in my stomach".
Luan then said, "Let us help you get ready for the big night. We have a lot of experience in the dating world".
"We're going to be in for a time getting you prepared," Leni said.
The girls then gave Lincoln a new look. The first look was too peppy.
They then made Lincoln look like he's going to a disco dance party.
"Too 70s," Lincoln said.
"You got that right," Lola said.
The girls then tried again, this time, making Lincoln look like a royal prince.
"Too princy," the girls said.
One more makeover had him in an orange and black suit with a perfect tie.
"Now that is perfect," Lola said.
"So perfect," Luna said.
"Cool," Lincoln said. "You even got orange, my favorite color".
Meanwhile, over at Stella's house, Stella was in her room with a confused look on her face. Stella's mom came into her room.
"Hey Stella," she said.
"Hi mom," Stella said. "I don't know which to pick. It's my first time going out with Lincoln since coming here to Royal Woods, and it's making me nervous".
"Your first date?" Ms. Zhau commented. "That is so awesome. Do you know what Lincoln wears?"
"I wish I did," Stella said. "But I do remember him wearing orange and black to a play 2 weeks ago".
Ms. Zhau said to Stella, "well, try the red dress and the black shoes".
She showed Stella which shoes she was talking about. Stella decided to try it out. The black shoes had single inch heels. When she put them on, Stella started walking around.
"Wow," she said.
"I knew you would like them," Stella's mom said to her.
"Thanks," Stella said. "I hope it isn't too much, though. Lincoln and I are off on a spaghetti date, and I'm still a little nervous".
"Did you talk it over with him?" Ms. Zhau asked.
"Yeah," Stella said. "And he really wants to do it. I even admitted I want to be his girlfriend. I can't say no to him like that now".
"Trust me," Ms. Zhau said. "You'll be in for one sweet time".
Stella gave her mom a hug, knowing that she can always come to her for emotional support when the time calls for it.
Around 5:37pm, the Zhau family knocked on the door.
"Hello?" Stella asked. "It's Stella Zhau. Is Lincoln there?"
"Just a moment," Luan said.
She went to Lori and Leni's room.
"Alright," Luan said. "Ready or not, Lincoln's princess is waiting outside".
"This is it,' Lincoln said. "No turning back now".
As he made his way downstairs, his sisters wished him the best of luck.
"You're gonna rock this date, bro," Luan said.
"You totes got this," Leni said.
Outside, Lincoln and Stella couldn't believe what the other was wearing.
"That just amazes me," Stella said.
"You're amazingly glammed up yourself," Lincoln said.
The 2 interlocked arms as they got into Stella's mom's car. It was a Mercedes-Benz from 2004.
"Sweet ride," Lincoln said.
"Thanks," Ms. Zhau said.
They drove off. At Dine n' Dance, they hopped out.
"Thanks mom," Stella said.
10 minutes later, they were enjoying a big plate of spaghetti.
"So, Lincoln," Stella said. "About what I said this morning".
"It's okay if you don't wanna do this," Lincoln said. "I don't wanna put any pressure on you. We can still remain friends".
"I know," Stella said. "But maybe I just spent too much time denying my own feelings. I've always had them there bottled up just waiting to set them free, ever since I first met you on that bus".
Lincoln couldn't believe it.
"That's cool," he said.
The 2 of them ate some more spaghetti. Little did they know, their respective ends, when finished, brought them in for a kiss.
"Woah," Lincoln said.
"Yeah," Stella said. "That actually felt good".
Off the Wall by Michael Jackson came on.
"Hey," Lincoln said. "You up for a little dance?"
Stella answered, "I say try not to trip over my feet and we have a deal".
The 2 of them danced it out.
"You got some sick moves," Stella said.
"You dance well yourself," Lincoln said.
The 2 of them continued dancing into the night. Back home, Lincoln was video chatting with Stella.
"Some night, huh?" he asked.
"I'll say," Stella answered. "You got the moves like Jagger".
Both of them laughed.
"I better get to bed," Stella said. "Night Lincoln".
"Goodnight Stella," Lincoln said.
The 2 ended the video chat and got ready for bed.
That ends Day 4: Dating. Stay tuned for Day 5: Kissing.
