"I-I don't think I can take it anymore!"
"What do you mean, you can handle more than this!" Yuri glared down at the girl.
"N-no I can't! Six is already two much, I can't handle all eight," Ruby groaned.
"I didn't ask for your opinion, now do all eight!"
"Yes!" Ruby yelled.
At the ends of the hall, a door was swiftly opened, and Yu and Lorielei both rushed out of the room. Both rushing to the common room, both of their faces bright red, Lorielei looking more upset than the flustered Yu.
"Perverts! What do you think you're doing in there! In a public… space?" Lorielei's anger was swiftly subsiding as she saw what was going on.
Ruby was working her hands.
Over eight burners, each with a pan on top, and Yuri ordering her around.
"W-what's going on here?" Yu asked, her face turning to a normal color seeing what was going on.
"Oh," Sun-Hee piped in, their heads turned to her, Alex, Francis, and Arthur eating blini. "Yuri sacrificed his last blini for Ruby to get Francis and Arthur to shut up. Now he's making her pay him back with manual labor. What do you think was happening?"
"W-well… w-we," Yu was stammering, "Urusai!(Shut up!)"
"How, you're making her switch to Japanese, now I'm even more curious," Alex chuckled.
"Ihr bist doof! All of you!" Lorielei yelled at them, going back to her room. Who was soon followed by Yu.
Soon after Ruby and Yuri soon came to the table, Ruby plopping down and resting her head on the table. "W-what did we miss?" Ruby asked, panting. Never had she thought cooking could be so stressful.
"Oh, they thought you two were screwing in the common room," Francis explained, a cheeky grin on her face.
"Like rabbits in heat," Arthur added.
"Like newly-weds," Sun-Hee continued on.
Ruby's face was burning, and while Yuri's face stayed mostly the same, his ears were definitely red. The two of them proceeded to shut up for the next few minutes, not saying anything to each other, even with the consistent teasing of their team.
Later that night, Yang and Blake had stayed out, walking behind Beacon's library.
"You know Blake, if you wanted to get me alone, you could have taken us somewhere less… weird," Yang said, looking around.
Blake sighed, "Yang, that isn't what's happening. We're meeting the final piece of my plan," as she said that her scroll pinged, receiving a message. "Their close."
"And, who's them?" Yang raised an eyebrow.
"They didn't give me their real name, but they call themself, and I can't believe they are, Deep Throat," Blake said. Yang, who was by her side, couldn't help but laugh.
"Wow, he must really be into some kinky stuff," Yang joked.
Little did they notice, someone was behind them, a short girl with jet black hair that was done into twin tails and her emerald green eyes slowly came behind Yang. Tapping her should, getting a shocked reaction from them.
"Gah!" Yang jumped, turning around, seeing the short girl holding a sign.
"Well, I do like to top, but I like to think I'm relatively tame," the sign read. The short girl waved at the Faunus in hiding and the blond brawler.
Both Yang and Blake looked at each other.
"So, were you expecting a small girl to call herself Deep Throat?" Yang raised an eyebrow.
The girl, dubbed Deep Throat turned her sign, "It's a Mark Felt reference. You wouldn't get it."
"Ah, gay porn, got you," Yang said, snapping her fingers.
The girl flipped her sign again, "It's a book! Not gay! And it's about government conspiracy!" the sign read, she turned to Blake. "Is she going to be this annoying, because I won't if she is."
"Try living with her," Blake gave a blank expression, getting a silent giggle from the girl and a fake hurt sound from Yang. "So, you're the observer Port sent for our team?" Blake asked, getting a nod. "And you want to help us then?"
The sign flipped, "As fun as it is watching your team, it's gotten boring, the Terran fights the Remnant, the Remnant fights the Terran, no one wins, it's kinda like Tom & Jerry, an endless game of Cat and Mouse. And like shows that stick around too long, it gets boring."
"Oh, so you're just bored," Yang said, getting a nod from the girl. "Well what now?"
"Now all we need is chloroform," Blake told the brawler.
"Then why do we need her?" Yang pointed to the girl.
"Because she said she wanted to see shit go down/I wanted to see shit go down," Blake said and the girl swapped signs.
The next day had come, Ruby was happy, because her sister and her team would be with her in Doctor Oobleck's class. Ruby had also arrived early again, Velvet was helping Oobleck getting ready for his next lecture, so she managed to strike up a conversation with them.
"Ms. Rose!" Oobleck called to her. "Nice seeing you again! I wanted to inform you on the future of our current unit since you aren't going to be with us every day!" Oobleck called to her.
"You'll just be going over the three great wars, Earth's first world war, Remnant's great war, and then Earth's second great war, and the repercussions each had," Velvet said in a much calmer voice, contrary to Oobleck's much louder and fast pace talking.
"Precisely!" Oobleck shouted. "For example! It was because of the events of World War I that it set the stage for the next war! And because of our Great War, it has greatly affected the way we name our children, using what most call the color rule!" Oobleck stated. "These Wars had many other effects on the world, and we'll be discussing these later!"
Ruby nodded, as she decided to sit up by the door with Velvet when class started. And as class started, Ruby couldn't help but notice the look Yang and Blake were having. She didn't know what it was about. Maybe Yang had a crush? Oh, Ruby was plotting something.
Ruby then looked to the side, seeing Velvet pulling out an Earth laptop, typing along to Oobleck's lecture.
"Hey, Velvet, what are you doing?" Ruby asked, watching as Velvet seemed to be taking notes. And they were good notes from what Ruby could see.
"Oh, just taking notes. Plan on selling them to students who need them, it's a good way to make some extra Lien and help people," Velvet said with a smile.
"So cool," Ruby muttered. "Hey, what's that on Nationalism, Imperialism, and Militarism? Oobleck hasn't gone over that yet?" Ruby asked.
"Oh, it was something Oobleck stressed last year. I'm just adding them early because I know them," Velvet explained. "I already sat through this class before, I'm just doing this to make better quality notes."
"Wow, such dedication," Ruby said in awe.
"Rose," Weiss called.
Class had ended, and Weiss went to Ruby. "Weiss? Hey!" she waved walking up to the heiress. "What's up?"
"I wanted to ask you a few questions," Weiss told the young reaper. As Ruby opened her mouth, Weiss interrupted, "Somewhere private?" she used her thumb to point behind her. Ruby nodded and followed behind her.
Weiss had taken them to an empty changing room. Weiss faced Ruby.
She didn't say anything. Neither of them did for a few awkward seconds.
"So…" Ruby broke the silence, "You wanted to talk?"
"Right," Weiss nodded, "How is my brother doing? He isn't acting out is he?" Weiss asked the reaper. "I heard he got in a fight with an Scottish student a few days ago."
"Irish," Ruby corrected, "And him and Allen are doing quite well!" Ruby assured her. "Just the other day we invited him to watch Avatar with us!" she said with fond memories of yesterday.
"The movie was the blue people?" Weiss raised an eyebrow.
"Whitley thought the same thing," Ruby chuckled. "No something. So anything else? Or is this the part where you say I better treat him right? Wait, isn't that for when you're dating someone? Weiss I'm not dating your brother! Honest!" Ruby began muttering and rambling on.
Weiss let out a hum. "I assumed you weren't," Weiss said, reassuring Ruby, calming her down. "And there is something else I want to ask you," that got Ruby's attention. "How do you do it?"
Ruby seemed confused, "Do what?" she asked, tilting her head.
"How do you act so casually around them, Terrans I mean," Weiss asked. Ruby seemed even more confused.
Weiss let out a sigh and explained. She had been raised on the idea that Terrans were bloodthirsty beings. Obsessed with their homes being number one, obsessed with their own being the best, with so many battles that they may have killed more people than the Hunters killed Grimm. She didn't understand it. And then there were people like Ruby and Whitley, and others, going to classes with them, acting like things were just normal.
"Weiss, I don't think there is any real trick," Ruby told the girl. "I just act like how I'd normally act around people."
"Even if their people have done horrible things?" Weiss asked.
"Sure!" Ruby said with confidence, "I mean, in my unit we have a German. And sure Germany almost committed genocide in the second world war-"
"There's a second world war?!" Weiss couldn't believe, "And they did what?!"
"Ok, should not have said that," Ruby tried to backpedal. "Listen, Weiss. Even if Germany did bad things, it is in their past, and they are aware of it and try to better themselves. I mean, it isn't that much different for Remnants. We also have bad things in our history and people who have hurt others for no other reason then minor differences." Ruby explained.
"I guess… you're not wrong," Ruby smiled at Weiss's response.
"Why, thank you Weiss," Ruby smiled. "So, I'm guessing you're asking this since you and Annie aren't getting along?"
"No, we aren't. I may have been… difficult at the start of the school year," Weiss said to Ruby, who snorted.
"It still is the start," Ruby giggled.
"Yeah, it is," Weiss said. "So I should try and treat her normally, and you think she'll forgive me?"
Ruby shrugged, "As long as you apologize, then I'm sure you'll both get along," Ruby tried to assure her. Giving a Weiss a pat on the shoulder.
"That's quite optimistic, think you have," Weiss said, a faint smile on her face. Ruby gave a shrug to the comment saying someone had to think positive.
Weiss knocked on the door. "It's Weiss, everyone's decent?"
"Open," it was Blake.
Weiss opened the door, and what she saw made her mouth go agape. There was Annie, handcuffed to a chair, with Blake to the side and Yang covering Annie's mouth. Blake looked at Weiss and Weiss looked at Blake.
Annie managed to shake out of Yang's hand, and yelled. "Weiss, behind you!" she managed to say. But it was too late.
Behind her, the small girl Blake and Yang met with the other night managed to get Weiss in a hold, using a rag to make her pass out.
"You guys are insane!" Annie yelled.
Blake shrugged. "Get the other chair, and put Weiss in," the Faunus in hiding instructed.
When Weiss finally came too, she didn't know what was happening.
W-what?" Weiss asked, looking around, seeing she was strapped to a chair. "WHAT THE!" Weiss yelled, yanking at the cuffs. "What's going on?!"
"Well, they locked us in a room, that's what," Annie was behind Weiss.
"What the hell! When I get my hands on that blond bimbo and- and- I don't have an analogy for Blake, but when I get my hands on her!" Weiss yelled.
"Not making a dig on her being Faunus, that's quite progressive of you despite not liking us Terrans," Annie said, rolling her eyes. Weiss stopped her waving and struggling, turning her head to look at Annie the best she could.
"What do you mean by that? She's not a Faunus?" Weiss said.
"Do you know who founded the White Fang," Annie said with a blank voice, not believing Weiss had not noticed.
"Ghira Bella...don...na," Weiss stopped moving again, her head hanging, "My Oum, I'm a complete idiot."
"Yeah! Everyone knows she is a Faunus! Really, she thinks she can hide it with a bow! But little did she know I did a report on the White Fang! HA!" Annie said, laughing at Blake's disguise.
"We are in a team with a terrorist," Weiss muttered.
"Hey! You do know Ghira was the first leader, right? The one before the White Fang went all terrorist, right?" Annie groaned. "Besides, if she was with the White Fang, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have been as friendly as she is with Yang and I," Annie said.
"She handcuffed us to chairs," Weiss said dryly. "I don't think your statement has any merit," Weiss said.
A phone started to buzz, Annie looked down, feeling the scroll in her pocket. Annie, struggling, managed to get the phone out her pocket. Annie answered.
"Blake, I love you, but when I get my hands I will crush your neck!" Annie yelled into her phone. "And tell Yang she'll get the same love!"
In the background they could hear Yang running around, sounding like she was packing something. "Okay, Blake! If we run now we might be able to stay at my dad's for at least a few days!"
Blake sighing could be heard, "No Yang, we aren't running away. Sorry about her. And this, but it had to be done."
"Chloroforming us? Yeah, and I am not smelling the bull coming from that," Annie rolled her eyes.
On Blake's end, she looked to the girl with black hair, who urged her to go on. "Well, it was needed. I'm not going to be the leader of our team anymore! I don't want to go to those mandatory leader classes they have us do! Ozpin is a sadist! Really, you'd think it's Goodwitch, but no! It's him!" Blake had started getting riled up! "And I'm not being the leader while you two get to fight and resolve nothing!"
"Yeah! You tell them!" Yang cheered.
"Shut up Yang!" Blake yelled. "You two are going to get along then I'll let you out!"
The phone hung up. Annie took multiple deep breaths, calming herself down. "Alright, Weiss. We'll have to get along, or at least pretend to when they come to check on us!" she yelled.
"You won't be doing that," it was Blake's voice, coming from somewhere in the room. "We're watching you!"
"That bitch!" Weiss swore. Which got a chuckle out of Annie. "What? what's so funny?"
"Oh, nothing. Just Miss Prim and Proper swearing," Annie chuckled. "Also, would she be a pussy? You know, since she's a cat Faunus."
"Oh, har har," Weiss rolled her eyes.
"So… how are we going to do this?" Annie asked, leaning her head back.
Weiss looked down at the ground. She and Ruby just had a conversation about this. Weiss just needed to be humble herself, not be Weiss Schnee of Atlas and the Schnee Dust Company, but Weiss, the member of ABWY, which was led by a human of Earth.
"I'm… sorry for being a…" Weiss began her apology only to mutter the end of it. Though loud enough for Annie to hear her speak something.
"What was that?" Annie asked. A grin forming on her face.
"I'm… I'm… I'msorryforbeingajerk," Weiss rushed, too fast for someone to understand.
"You're going to have to say that a bit slower, because I don't know what you're saying if you don't say it properly," she chuckled.
Weiss, let out a frustrated sigh. "I am sorry!" Weiss yelled. "Sorry for not giving you a chance to be a leader, and I'm willing to admit part of it was because I wanted to be the leader and the part because you weren't a Remnant, and I… was a jerk," Weiss apologized, finally getting the apology over with.
Annie smiled to herself, even if Weiss couldn't see it. "So you admit that it was because I'm Terran?"
"Yes," Weiss admitted.
"And you'll admit you were salty?" Annie kept adding on.
Weiss didn't want to say anything, but, against her desire, she gave in. "Fine, yes. I, Weiss Schnee, was salty."
"Playing it up?" Annie laughed to herself, much to Weiss's discomfort.
Weiss sighed, "If I didn't, you'd keep egging me on till you got me to say something weird, you Terrans are sadistic like that." Suddenly Weiss realized she accidentally made a comment on the very thing she said she was sorry for. "Wait! I-I didn't-"
But her attempt at an apology was met by a gasp from Annie, "Never, have I been so offended!" Annie said in a voice, dripping with sarcasm, which was lost on the panicking Weiss. "By something so, so, so accurate!" she ended, giving herself a hearty laugh. "Chill Weiss, I forgive you."
Weiss let out a sigh of relief. "Really? Thank you."
"Now that we have kind of gotten over that, mind if I ask you something?" Annie asked, getting confirmation she asked, "Why don't you like us? Terran's I mean."
Weiss didn't seem that surprised by the question. She actually was expecting to ask that. "I grew up in Atlas, if you haven't figured it out, we aren't exactly open to people who aren't Remnant born or Faunus," Weiss began. "My Father is one of them. Sure, a great businessman, but not a good man. He told me, my sister, and brother that Terrans were no better than Faunus. If not worse. He said you people were no different from the Grimm, soulless."
"Hmm," Annie hummed, then she decided to ask another question, "How far is it?"
"How far is what?" Weiss asked, confused by the vanity of the question.
Annie gave a smug grin, "Why, Weiss, I mean that poll."
"What poll? You aren't making sense," Weiss asked, confused even more.
"Up your daddy's ass? What else?" Annie said, which someone managed to make Weiss choke on hair. Never hearing someone talk about her father like that. Well except her mother, but that was more depressing than funny. "Really, is it like a foot long dildo? Or is it like a giant rod?"
And for the first time since Annie met Weiss, she laughed. And for Weiss, she was laughing at her father. Something she didn't even think Winter did.
"T-that is a good question," Weiss said, catching her breath. "But what is a better question is what we'll be doing once Blake and Yang let us out," Weiss said.
"Great question!" Annie said, smiling as she and Weiss began to plan.
"You are positive that they worked things out?" Blake asked their third member.
The girl, who had a container of Neapolitan ice cream nodded, holding up a sign. "Oh, if they didn't make up then I'm not mute!"
Blake and Yang looked at each other then went to open the door. The room was quiet, they assumed that the pair had passed out in the chairs that they were in.
They were wrong.
Once they opened the door, Weiss and Annie put rags covered in chloroform over their noses. Having the two pass out.
Annie and Weiss then glared at the girl who waved at them.
"Were you at all in on this?" Annie glared into the smaller girl's soul, and the small girl she didn't flinch.
The girl held up a sign, "Blake un bel culo," the sign read, and Annie snorted. Holding back laughter.
"What does it say?" Weiss asked. "It has something to do with Blake, right?"
"She said Blake has a nice butt Weiss," Annie said, snickering to herself, dragging Yang in the room.
"I didn't do much but watch you guys, want help? I've been itching to do something," another sign said.
Annie and Weiss looked at each other, both shrugging. "Sure, help us tie them up and we'll get the permanent marker."
Morning had come, and in the Dorm-H all thirty two residents could hear a cry of anger be heard from the main campus so loud, even the heaviest sleeper woke up.
In the Beacon teacher dorms, Glynda decided it was too early to deal with her students crap.
In the JNPR dorm, even the Invincible Girl was scared, a sensation that she hadn't felt in years.
In the ABWY dorm, hell had been unleashed.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Yang cried.
What had gotten Yang so upset? Did someone cut her hair? No, that wasn't it. Did someone destroy her pressure Bumblebee? Nope. What they had done was in Yang's book one of the worst things they could have done.
They dyed her hair! It was only the tips, but they died anyways.
She was also tied up in both rope, duct tape, and a few chains for safety.
Blake on the other hand wasn't as tied up as Yang, she too looked in her mirror image in horror.
Her ears. They were out in the open. Weiss and Annie saw her ears. Her cover was blown! The Schnee heiress had seen she had a team member that was a Faunus. And to make the humiliation even greater was in, what Blake thought, was permanent marker, cat whiskers.
"Geez," Annie groaned. "Will you be quiet, you'd manage to wake an entire city up with how loud you are Yang," Annie said, getting up from bed. "Sup kitty cat," Annie said, patting Blake's head.
Yang turned to glare at Annie only for her anger to subside seeing Blake's cat ears. "Hey, Blake. What's up with the cat ears?"
"Blake Belladonna, daughter of Ghira Belladonna, founder of the White Fang," Weiss's voice could be heard. Blake looked at the heiress in horror. And Yang looked at Blake with shock. "I know Yang, I was surprised when Annie told me."
"You knew?!" Blake then turned Annie. "Why did you tell her then if you knew I was hiding?!"
Annie shrugged, "Because it would have come up eventually," Annie showed her phone. It was one of the Remnant social media apps Puzzles, and it was to profial of one Kali Belladonna, with the captain of "my little kitten's birthday," on it.
"Also I did a report on the White Fang a few years ago, and found out who you were," Annie pulled another picture up, this time it was the picture of an eleven year old Blake with her mom and dad at one of the last peaceful White Fang rallies.
"If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't on to you at all," Weiss offered to make Blake feel better.
"Now, Blake. We aren't going to report you to the police," Annie said off the bat. "For a number of reasons that include, you are a member of the team, our friend, I'd stab a bitch for you guys, and… OH! I'm Terran, we don't judge people that much!" Weiss looked at Annie, "Okay, we judge a lot, but I don't!"
Annie then turned to Weiss, "And, I'll make sure Weiss will keep her installed racism in check, any questions? Because if she doesn't I'll make sure a stick up her dad's butt isn't the only one in the family!"
Weiss sent an annoyed glare at Annie who shrugged it off.
"W-why are you doing this?" Blake asked. Her ears lay flat on her head.
"Depend on what you want to hear," Annie said. "Do you want me to say that getting a new team member would be a hassle or do you want me to say that we're friends and I don't want you to hide who you are?"
Blake said she wanted the second one. And Annie smiled, saying she wanted it as well. Then the door knocked.
Weiss looked to see the girl from last night out there. And slowly opened the door.
Yang turned to see the small girl. "Deep Throat! Help us!"
Annie and Weiss looked at each other, then looked at the girl, they decided not to press on the topic.
"Um… hey, Deep Throat…" Weiss said the name, a blush on her face. "What are you doing here?"
The girl smiled, holding out a certificate out to them.
Annie looked at the certificate and squealed. She was leader again, Blake was freed from her responsibilities and Annie was leader of her team once again.
"YES! Thank you Deep Throat!" Annie said, taking the small girl into a hug.
The girl waved at Blake and Yang before leaving the team.
"That traitor!" Yang yelled. She then turned to Annie and Weiss. "Please let us out?"
"No," both girls said at the same time, immediately shooting the idea down.
"What?! Why?" Yang asked, struggling in her bonds.
"Well, a few things come to mind, Blake for not telling us she was a Faunus is one reason you both will be here. But my main reason is- you chloroformed us!" Weiss finished off, yelling. "So for the rest of the day, Annie and I are going out, while you both sit here, and think about your actions."
"W-what? Come on! It was in the name of getting you two getting along!" Yang said.
"And now, you both can get along, bonding in those chairs," Annie yelled as they walked out the door with Weiss with a change of clothes. But before she left, she stuck her head back in the door. "Oh, and just an FYI, Deep Throat wanted to use bondage ropes. So have fun knowing that could have been you."
As Annie and Weiss left, they could hear their maniacal laughter throughout the hall.
Blake and Yang just sat there in silence for a few moments in nothing but silence. That was till Yang broke it with a dumb question.
"Can I call you Kit-Cat?" Yang asked.
"No," Blake shot down.
In Ozpin's tower, the girl with twin tailed black hair and green eyes changes. Her hair changed from tied into long flowing hair, and from its jet black color to a variety of brown, white, and pink. And her eyes went from emerald green to a mix of pale pink and brown.
"Ah, Neo. I see you delivered Ms. Boita's certificate," Ozpin smiled at the ice cream themed girl, who gave him a curt bow. "Now, before we go check on the betting pools, want ice cream? Glynda shouldn't be here for a while and I'm in the mood for rocky road," Ozpin said, who was swiftly followed by Neo holding a sign.
"As long as you're paying."
Ozpin nodded. "Of course, Ms. Black Death."
Their unit had split between going to Vale and staying at the dorm.
Alex, Sun-Hee and Yu had decided to stay home and watch anime. Something called Fate Stay something, Ruby couldn't remember.
Ruby had decided to stay with Lorielei who was currently looking for things to upgrade her equipment.
"You use a submachine-gun right?" Ruby asked Lorelei. Seeing as she looked around. "Does it have a name?"
"Of course it does," Lorelei looked at Ruby as if she asked a dumb question. "It's the Heckler & Koch MP5!"
Ruby seemed confused. "That's an odd thing to name your weapon. I call mine Crescent Rose."
"Wait, you were talking about me naming my weapon?" Lorelei cocked her head to the side. "Why would I do that?"
"Why?!" Ruby asked if her German friend had been asking why gravity pulled down. "Because our weapons are expressions of ourselves! They are expressions of who we are as Huntsmen and Huntresses!"
Lorelei looked at Ruby and shrugged. "I guess. All of my equipment is provided by the German military."
"Wait what?" Ruby asked, surprised by the news. "When did that happen?!"
"Since the beginning," the German girl explained, still looking through possible upgrades. "Only a small population of us Terrans can possess Aura and an even fewer amount actually want to be Huntsmen. So, most governments offer a grant to families of those who sign up with them. I happened to take the deal, and they provide me with my gear. That can easily be replaced."
Ruby looked at the girl like she said one of the most ridiculous things. "B-but. Isn't that like bribing people?"
"Ruby," Lorielei called at her, a glare starting to form. "Listen, if you must know, I chose to be a Hunter of my own decision, no one pressured me into it, no one signed me up without my knowing. I saw a chance to help the family, and did so," she said. Taking a breath her expression calmed. "Come on, we're bringing down the mood. It's the weekend and I don't want it all to be bad," Lorielei said. Picking out a new stock and walking over to the dust area.
"So, Ruby," Lorielei looked at the red reaper. "Got eyes on anyone?" asked.
"Hmm?" Ruby looked at Lorelei. "Got eyes on anyone?" she repeated back to her. "I'm sorry?" she said, confused by the question.
"You know, interesting to anyone? Got eyes on a boy? Or are you into girls? I don't judge," Lorielei said, taking out the container to get gravity, ice, and fire powder dust.
Ruby finally realized what she meant, "Oh… OH! No, no, I don't have anyone I'm interested in," Ruby waved her hands taking a few steps away from the German girl. "I-I don't re-really think about that kind of stuff."
"Really?" she asked, as they walked to the counter and paid. "You're saying you've never had a crush on anyone back at Signal?"
Ruby shook her head, "N-not really," Ruby confirmed, hiding her face with her red hood, making Lorielei laugh.
"Okay, be like that, I'll find someone who will make you swoon!" Lorelei declared, making it her mission for the school year.
As they left the shop Lorelei looked over to Ruby. "Hey, want to know how you can tell if a person is Remnant or Terran?" she asked, getting a container of dark gray powdered Dust.
"You can tell that kind of thing? I thought the only way to tell was by their accents," Ruby said, looking confused by the question.
"Well, there are a few ways, looking for tailbones, the appendix, and a few other ways, but this is my favorite way," Lorelei said. Opening the canister and sprinkling a small amount of gravity Dust on her hand. "Now, this trick will also work on some Remnant Terran mixes, but it depends on which parent they take after," Lorielei explained.
Then Ruby watched in horror as Lorelei had done the very thing her and many students have been told not to do.
She purposely sniffed Dust as if it was some nasal medicine.
"OH MY OUM!" Ruby yelled. "Lorelei! Don't worry! We'll get you to a doctor! Someone!"
"Ruby," a high pitched voice called to her. Ruby turned to Lorelei, who had the widest grin on her face. "I'm fine, really."
Ruby's eyes went wide, then she covered her mouth, hiding a laugh.
"Come on, do it! Laugh!" Lorelei yelled. "Do it! Do it! Do it!" she began chanting.
Ruby finally broke, laughing so hard she immediately fell onto her back, and once she let out a quick ow she went back to laughing. After a few minutes of laughter Ruby managed to rain herself in. She looked at the girl.
"W-what was that?" Ruby asked, still panting, holding her sides.
"Gravity dust acts kind of like helium for Terrans," her voice was still high but Ruby managed to hold back laughter. "The only real difference is if you have enough in your system it won't only just kill you, but have you start being weightless," she explained, which the warning wasn't taken that seriously as Ruby burst into laughter.
Lorielei sighed, taking Ruby's arm over her shoulder, managing to take the still giggling.
"And I said as a Huntsman, Archer would be by far the most famous!" Sun-Hee's voice could be heard as they entered the third floor of Dorm-H..
"What do you mean?! Cu would be a favorite!" Alex yelled back at the Korean girl. "Yu, back me up!"
"No, I'm not agreeing with either of you," Yu said, not in her usally nice voice either, she was passionate in her own opinion. "Kojirou is the best! He has the looks, the skills, and let's face it, if you can use a sword that is longer than your arm, and wield it well? You're a badass!"
Both Sun-Hee and Alex looked at one another, then looked at Yu. "Dumbass!" both yelled, in sink, hitting the table to emphasize the point. What they didn't realize was the door opening and how close their fists were to the edge of the table.
Once they did, they hit a pencil and an eraser, why they were so close to the table was on Sun-Hee.
Both projectiles came flying at the door. Arthur and Francis pivoted to the opposite sides, Lorelei ducked, and Yuri ended up grabbing the pencil mid air.
The eraser though. Ruby wasn't as lucky.
The eraser hit her square in the head, knocking her over.
"Why…" Ruby groaned.
"Ruby!" Yu yelled, running over to the girl.
After a few seconds Yu cried out, "Ruby ga shida!"
"You bastard/Dangsin nom!" both yelled at one another.
"Eh-hem," Yuri coughed into his fist, both American and Korean students went pale, Yuri glared at them, walking up to them, and grabbing their collars and dragging them somewhere.
