Chapter 5:
May, Henrietta and Maddie were having lunch with Carmen and Liam Johnson on the boardwalk.
May informed Maddie. "Carmen said she would tell us what's going on"answered May.
"Good! Evan and Eddie are getting on everyone nerves at work"answered Henrietta.
3 of them had arrived before Carmen and Liam did.
"Guess we are early"answered Maddie.
15 minutes later
Liam, Crystal and Carmen showed up.
"Sorry we are late"answered Liam.
"Crystal, Why are you here?"asked Maddie.
"I'm heading inside the restaurant, while you 5 have lunch"answered Crystal.
"Crystal, could have lunch here with us"answered May.
Crystal shakes her head. "No, I'm on duty-be inside"answered Crystal.
Crystal leaves them alone for 2 hrs.
"Thanks! For letting us know what was going on with you Carmen"exclaimed Maddie.
"Are you going to be saying anything to the guys?"asked Liam.
"It's none of their business"answered Henrietta.
"Thanks"answered Liam.
"How come we haven't seen Ms. McGarrett come outside?"asked May.
Liam and Carmen looked each other.
"Ms. McGarrett is recruiting people into the task force team-she has several openings. One her company knows the owners of this place"answered Liam.
2 hrs later
Henrietta back at work.
Her coworkers were sitting down to eat lunch.
"So, did you get anything from Carmen?"answered Howie.
"Sorry, Guys have to wait"answered Henrietta.
Evan groans.
Christopher and Carly were at the firehouse since no one could watch them.
"Carmen might not ever tell us what's going on"groaned Eddie.
TK and Carlos show up at the firehouse 3 hrs later.
"Daddy"answered Carly racing towards Carlos and TK.
TK picks his daughter up.
He shares custody with Eddie, Evan and Carlos.
Foot steps racing up the stairs into the kitchen area.
Howie informs them. "I just saw May and Carmen"answered Howie.
May heads over to where Bobby's office was.
Carmen heads up the stairs.
"Carmen"answered Christopher.
"Hey! sorry haven't been home much to see you"answered Carmen.
"Carmen we need to talk"answered Eddie.
Carmen looks up. "I came to drop these off for at the firehouse, Jason is waiting outside for me in the car"answered Carmen.
Bags were handed to Henrietta.
"Carmen what did you talk to Maddie about at lunch?"answered Howie.
"Nothing, just that Crystal is recruiting for the task force"answered Carmen.
"Are you sure there's nothing wrong?"asked Evan.
"It's nothing you guys need to know"answered Carmen.
Eddie kneels down. "We want to help you Carmen, please"answered Eddie.
"Uh! your guys can't help with this situation"answered Carmen.
"Would you mine talking to Maddie or Henrietta about your situation"answered Howie.
"They already know what's going on"answered May coming up into the kitchen.
"Henrietta, would you mind telling us?"asked Evan.
Henrietta looks at her coworkers. "Sorry It's not up to me"answered Henrietta.
TK looks at Carmen. "Is is dangerous?"asked TK.
"no, it's not dangerous"answered May.
Carmen was thinking for a moment-finally says something. "It's called having your painful cramps every month"yelled Carmen angrily racing outside of the firehouse.
May looks at them.
Henrietta glares at them. "Just had to push Carmen into telling you guys"answered Henrietta.
