A knock at the door brings Ben and Rey back to reality. Ben presses a kiss to Rey's forehead and stands to see who is at the door. He opens it to see Rose and Jannah standing on the other side. They both look upset and have trouble meeting Ben's gaze.
"Hi Ben. We wanted to know if Rey was here," Rose speaks softly.
Ben crosses his arms across his chest and looks at them. Through their bond, Rey can feel his frustration towards them and his protection for her. She sits quietly on the bed listening, not quite ready to face her friends yet.
"She's resting right now," Ben says firmly, trying to be as gentle as he can.
Rose nods and turns to Jannah. The pair of them take a breath and hang their heads down.
"Please tell her we're sorry. We didn't mean to assume anything and make her upset. We didn't realize how upset it would make her," Jannah confesses sadly.
"I know you two mean a lot to her. Just give her time," Ben replies.
They nod and start to walk away.
"Hey," Ben calls out.
The girls turn and see him walk up to them. They shift from foot to foot nervously. Ben leans in closer.
"For the record, our romantic endeavors do not concern you. Our love goes far beyond purely the physical aspect of relationships - beyond anything you could ever dream up," he says seriously.
Jannah and Rose blush and nod their heads.
"We are sorry, Ben. We shouldn't have assumed. But you should know, we are so happy for you both. The joy we see from you is unlike anything we've ever seen. And the way Rey talks about you...she loves you so much," Jannah shares.
Ben pulls back and looks at the pair of them. A slight blush crosses his cheeks and he gives them a small smile. He nods at them and then moves back down the hall.
The door to his quarters opens and he moves inside to sit beside Rey. She watches him and slides her hand into his when he is close beside her. He looks at her with a smile that puzzles her.
"What is it?" Rey asks.
"So...you talk about me to Rose and Jannah?" he asks coyly.
"Wha-what did they say?" she gasps in embarrassment, her cheeks instantly flushing.
Ben chuckles and kisses her so passionately they fall onto the bed together, Ben on top of Rey.
"They didn't say. Whatever you've told them has made them see how much you love me. It makes a man…" he says, leaning in to pepper kisses on her neck.
A soft moan escapes Rey's lips with how he lights her skin on fire with only his mouth.
"...curious," he purrs against her skin.
His tongue flicks out playfully and licks her pulse point. This makes Rey mewl and writhe beneath him. Her fingers run through his thick, wavy locks as he continues to work her throat masterfully.
"Are you sure...you've...never...done this...before?" Rey breathes.
Ben leans over her and gazes down into her flushed face. A familiar stirring occurs in his pants as he looks at her. He smiles at Rey and kisses her lips softly.
"Never," he breathes.
Rey feels a tingle rush through her whole body with this one powerful word.
"This is just one of many things I've wanted to do to you for a long, long time," he whispers.
"Oh Ben…" she whispers before her lips are taken once more by his.
They kiss over and over again, moans coming from both sides. Rey leans up on her elbows and gently pushes Ben onto his back and then leans down to kiss him. She lets her lips venture down his jawline and onto his throat. The moans Ben makes light a fire deep within Rey and she continues with her kisses.
Suddenly she feels Ben's hand grip her upper arm firmly. Rey stops and looks down at him, her face full of concern.
"You don't like it?" she asks, her voice sounding dejected.
"No, not at all. It feels amazing...beyond amazing really. It's just…" he breathes.
Ben leans up and brushes his lips against Rey's.
"I've never been...loved like this…" he starts before he's cut off by Rey's kiss.
"Let me love you, Ben. Let me show you how much I love you," she breathes.
Rey brushes his hair out of his face and smiles down at him. Ben swears she is a real, true angel. He smiles back and flips her over so she is on her back. She gasps and looks up at him.
"Not if I show you first," he growls playfully.
Rey blushes as she giggles. They kiss passionately as Ben moves in between her legs. His lips blow air past her ear playfully before he takes her earlobe in his mouth. He sucks on it as Rey writhes beneath him. Her arms slide underneath his arms and she hugs him as close to her as possible.
A buzzing from Rey's alarm on her datapad begins ringing loudly, startling them both. Rey uses the Force to pull the datapad over. She turns off the alarm and slams it down with a frustrated huff. Ben chuckles and nuzzles his nose against Rey's.
"When will we ever stop being interrupted?" Rey asks.
"Don't worry, my love. We'll be alone soon enough," Ben purrs.
They sigh together, smiling before they kiss again.
"Want to go for a walk through the gardens before the rehearsal dinner?" Ben asks softly.
"I would love that," Rey says with a smile.
Ben climbs off Rey and extends a hand to her. She takes it eagerly and intertwines her fingers in his. They walk out of their quarters together. Rey places her head against Ben's upper arm and sighs with happiness.
