Jay wanted to get some sleep, he was tired. He tried but failed. He was very agitated.

Having a PTSD he had a sleeping pill at home that the doctor had marked for him to take only in case of need.

He went to look in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom and found it. He took a pill, went back to bed, closing his eyes, hoping he could collapse right away.

Time passed inexorably and he tossed and turned in bed.

About an hour and a half had passed, but he was not aware of it and decided to take one or two more tablets.

They should have taken effect sooner or later.

Stunned as he was he eventually fell asleep.

It wasn't a peaceful sleep there was something annoying, but at the same time he couldn't wake up. He kept tossing and turning in bed and sometimes let out a few groans of pain.

He managed to sleep, so to speak, for about three hours. The alarm clock he kept on the bedside table read 19:15.

He had a very bad stomach ache. he believed it was because he hadn't eaten for nearly two days.

He took his cell phone and checked his message box. There were several.

"Hey boy how are you? " Al wrote to him.

"Hey Jay why didn't you come to work today? Something wrong?" It was Hayley's message

"Hey, you didn't show up today. If you like, we can meet you at Molly's for a beer tonight." Antonio wrote him hoping to persuade him not to withdraw into his pain as he had done for Mouse's death.

"Hey there Halstead where are you hiding? Is everything okay?" sending Adam

"Hey boy, how are you? And don't lie to me." Voight message

"Hey, little brother, I'll be with you around 8 pm. Can I find you? Do you want me to bring you something for dinner?" Will wrote, knowing that Jay always took advantage of him when he visited to ask him to bring something to eat.

Yes he annoyed to answer but without realizing it he was there writing.

A few words to everyone just because otherwise they would have started worry by calling all the time.

He told Al, Hayley, Hank and Adam that he was fine not to worry, he would be back soon and thanked Antonio for the invitation telling him he had to decline because he had already made a commitment.

Then he concentrated on answering Will. He wrote him yes, that he expected to be home by about 7.45pm, but that he didn't need anything to eat. He already had it all.

Yes then decided to get up to fix everything so that his brother did not worry about him.
