The next day came by quickly as the sun rose through Royal Woods changing night into day as a certain white haired Eleven year old was doing some last minute checking before he would leave for the Great Lake City airport with his parents.
Currently Lincoln was doing some last minute checking to see if he had everything he would need for his journey towards Galar as he knew he would be calling that place his home for the rest of Summer.
"Okay underwear check. Socks check. Coat in case things get cold check. Strange cube Lisa gave you check. Strange debit card that Lisa gave you check. Okay with this and everything else I checked that should be everything I need."said Lincoln as he repacked everything into his duffel bag and made his way out of the room.
Unlike him pretty much everyone else was asleep as his parents sent him a text last night saying they would leave early that way Lincoln could get to Galar as soon as possible.
And none of his sisters were morning persons as older sisters at least needed a cup of coffee to get their day started.
Lincoln carefully made his way down the steps making sure not to step on the creaky floorboards as last thing he wanted was to wake up the ten headed beast.
A soon actually made his way to the first floor did he see his parents waiting there for him. His father handed him his favorite breakfast which of a cheese and potato breakfast burrito.
"Thanks Dad."said Lincoln as he took the burrito and began eating it as he and his parents made their way out of the house.
"Are we sure we want to do this?"asked Rita.
"Yeah I think we should since I don't want any of them giving me puppy dog eyes saying don't go."said Lincoln who knew he was a sucker for such puppy dog eyes.
"Lincoln's right and besides everyone said they're goodbyes last night knowing that they wouldn't be awake early in the morning so it's best that we leave at this time so Lincoln could get to Galar as soon as possible."said Lynn Sr as he, Lincoln, and Rita got into Vanzilla.
After starting the Van and waiting a few minutes for it to heat up did Lynn Sr change the stick shift from to reverse allowing the van to exit the driveway of the Loud house.
As soon as it was on Franklin Street Lynn Sr change the stick shift from reverse to drive and thus began the long drive to the Great Lake City airport.

About two hours later Vanzilla drove into the city and quickly made its way to the airport. Luckily for the first time in a long while Vanzilla did not break down which was considered a miracle as it often broke down because of its old age.
After all the van has been with the Loud family at least four generations...
After another twenty minutes of driving through circuit streets did Vanzilla finally arrived at the Great Lake City airport where they were supposed to meet Professor Magnolia.
The entire ride towards the airport was surprisingly quiet as no one had any words to say to one another as this was a serious situation that despite everyone having agreed to it was still hard.
Lincoln was feeling extremely nervous as he was basically going to stay with some stranger he didn't know for the summer on some Island he never heard of until yesterday.
'Well anyone is better than Aunt Ruth.' thought Lincoln remembering the time he and some of his sisters had to stay with her and he was forced to rub her feet.
That is something he blocked from his memories...
As Vanzilla drove into the parking lot and parked on a spot near the airport that everyone take off their seat belts and made their way into the airport.
"Okay now we're looking for a woman about Pop-pop's age wearing a lab coat."said Rita telling Lincoln what to look for as the airport was huge and there was a lot of people.
The Loud's looked around trying to find Professor Magnolia but couldn't seem to see her anywhere.
"Well I guess we should look again...!"said Lynn Sr who felt someone tapping on his shoulder only to turn around to see it was Professor Magnolia startling him a little as he jumped back.
"Oh my I am terribly sorry I did not mean to scare you."apologize the Pokemon professor.
"It's okay I'm used to my daughter Lucy doing that to me on a daily basis."said Lynn Sr who despite not being able to handle horror of any kind had build up a tolerance to people appearing behind him.
The Professor was curious by this but decided it was a question for later as she and Lynn Sr shook hands. Rita and Lincoln soon shook her hand as well.
"I'm glad to finally meet you too in person and I'm assuming this is Lincoln."
"Pleasure to meet you Professor Magnolia."said Lincoln went respect.
"My where you are a young child born with natural white hair...Where is the rest of your family?"
"Our daughters aren't exactly morning persons Professor Magnolia..."said Rita apologetically.
"Oh believe me I'm more than get what you're going through as I have met several individuals who are not exactly morning people either so I completely understand."said Professor Magnolia who remembers having to wake her granddaughter every morning as her granddaughter is not a morning person either.
"Well Lincoln please say your goodbye to your parents as we really must be going."said Professor Magnolia as Lincoln walked over to his parents.
"I'll see you guys later."said Lincoln as he hugged his parents.
"We'll support you no matter what you do."said Rita as she and her husband returned the hug.
"Take care buddy."said Lynn Sr who was trying his best not to cry.
After letting each other go did Lincoln follow Professor Magnolia into the airport while his parents started to make their way to the exit.
Lincoln meanwhile followed Professor Magnolia into what looked like the helipad area of the airport where he saw a red and white helicopter waiting for them.
"This will take us to Galar. I suggest you use the books inside the helicopter to pass the time since you will need to take a Pokemon trainer's license exam if you want to become a full-fledged trainer."said Professor Magnolia she and Lincoln got into the plane.
"Pokemon trainer?"asked Lincoln
"...My goodness Miss Loud you really need to start explaining things better to your family. Well I don't mind explaining this a third time since I've done it over my entire career so it's no trouble at all. Listen carefully linking as I will not repeat myself "said Professor Magnolia she closed the helicopter door telling the pilot to start flying.
The helicopter pilot gave a thumbs up as he started the helicopter and within minutes took off into the sky as Lynn Sr and Rita watch the helicopter leave from vanilla.

A short explanation later Lincoln was carefully reading the books he was given to as he recalled the conversation he had with Professor Magnolia as a helicopter was taking off.
[Flashback]
"That. Is. Awesome! I can't believe I'm really doing this and I can't believe Lisa didn't say anything about it I would have agreed without any hesitation hands down!"said Lincoln with excitement after hearing Professor Magnolia's explanation about Pokemon.
"I thought you would agree to this now please read those books carefully as mid-flight I will be giving you a test and by the time we land you must complete the test and I will review your answer seeing if you are ready to become a full-fledged Pokemon trainer."
"Don't worried Professor Magnolia I will study and focus harder than I ever have in my entire life."said Lincoln as he started picking up one of the books and began reading.
[Flashback End]
Lincoln knew from his tutoring sessions with Hugh how to carefully mark down selected information and find out what information was most important to the subject on hand without getting distracted or bored from reading.
"Okay Lincoln that's enough reading we will now begin your test so please take this test seriously and answer every question with the answer you are sure is correct."said Professor Magnolia she pulled out a table and placed a large stack of multiple answer sheets on top of it.
She then handed Lincoln a pencil an eraser.
"I must say Professor Magnolia I'm surprised you're not giving me this test on the ground."
"Well it's going to be hours until we arrive in Galar so I thought this will help you kill the time."said Professor Magnolia as she pulled out a pocket watch.
"You have until we land to finish your test."said Professor Magnolia she pressed the button on the pocket watch causing the hands to begin moving at different paces.
Lincoln meanwhile took a deep breath and started looking over the questions and began thinking of the answers he knew from the start thanks Pokémon book he has been reading over the last several hours to pass the time.
'Okah how many evolutions does the Pokemon Eevee have. Well that easy the answer is eight.' thought Lincoln as he filled in the bubble with the right answer.
'Why are some Pokémon different types depending on the region. Well because of the climate and time could cause the Pokemon that changed so they could adapt.' thought Lincoln as he filled out the answer.
Professor Magnolia watched with amazement as she never saw someone so focused in her life.
Truly Lincoln wanted to become a Pokemon trainer and it looked like nothing was going to stand in his way.

Several more hours passed and soon the helicopter touch land in a village like Town filled with many fields with sheep and butterfly like Pokémon moving all around the fields.
Professor Magnolia's pocket watch went off getting her attention from the book she was reading to pass the time.
"Well that's it put down your pencil and allow me to see your answers."said Professor Magnolia has Lincoln put down his pencil and handed his answer sheets over.
Professor Magnolia adjusted her glasses as she looked over the answers looking at them twice making sure she did not make any mistakes before looking at Lincoln.
"Well Mr Loud I'm proud to say that you managed to pass with a straight B as you manage to get eighty percent of the questions correct." said the professor with a smile on her face as she extended her hand in friendship.
"Congratulations Lincoln Loud as soon as I submit these answers to the Pokemon League you will now be considered a full-fledged Pokemon trainer."said Professor Magnolia as Lincoln shook her hand.
"Thank Professor I must say I am really mentally exhausted right now as I never studied and took a test so hard in my life."said Lincoln as he wipes some sweat away from his brow.
"Completely understandable young man now let us go to the house you will be staying at for the next several days until you set off on your journey."said Professor Magnolia she opened the helicopter door and allowed herself and Lincoln to get out of the helicopter.
"This way Lincoln."said Professor Magnolia as Lincoln followed her to wherever she planned to leave him
As they were walking through the town that Professor Magnolia identified as Postwick Lincoln noticed several different creatures roaming around through the fields that he assumed were Pokémon as he had never seen them before in his life.
Lincoln was absolutely amazed until he was tackled to the ground by something white and fluffy.
"Wooloo! Sorry about that I didn't mean for my Wooloo to tackle you."said a young man about Lincoln's age.
Lincoln looked up to see a boy about his age with purple hair and gold and eyes. He was wearing a black shirt with a jean jacket with brown fur on the openings of the jacket, with stylish tight pants with a purple line with matching black shoes.
"Hop how many times does your mother have to remind you to train your Wooloo in your backyard."scolded Professor Magnolia identifying the boy.
"Sorry Professor Magnolia but Wooloo accidentally got out of the yard and this is how it happened."said Hop who was truly apologetic.
"It's okay I'm not hurt so all is forgiven."said Lincoln as he got up and dusted himself off.
"Hey you must be the trainer Professor Magnolia was mentioning that was from the states. I'm Hop and I'm going to be the next Pokemon League champion after I defeat my brother."said Hop as he extended his hand in friendship.
"Your brother?"ask Lincoln as he shook Hop's hand.
"Oh yes Hop's brother Leon is the current champion of the Galar region."clarified Professor Magnolia in case Lincoln got confused.
"That's awesome your brother must be super strong!"
"You bet that he is strong as he's never lost a Pokemon battle not even once. If you need a Pokémon then I'll come pick you up tomorrow since Lee is going to be giving me a Pokemon tomorrow so I can easily convince him to give you one too."said Hop with a smile on his face.
"Really."responded Lincoln who was really surprised by this.
"Of course it's the least I can do to apologize for Wooloo tackling you to the ground and besides I have a feeling you and me are going to be great friends."
"Gee thanks Hop I really appreciate it."said Lincoln with complete honesty as the two shook hands once more before excusing themselves.
"Man Hop is really a nice guy."
"Yes he is and it was so nice of him to offer you a Pokemon right after you just barely met but then again that's something special about Hop, she can always make friends really fast."said Professor Magnolia as they walk to a house that look like it was close to a foggy set of woods.
Professor Magnolia walked up to the house and knocked on the door until a woman about Lincoln's mother's age open the.
"Miss Olivia remember that trainer I asked you to take care of for the next several days?"
"Oh yes Professor Magnolia I remember is that him over there."said Miss Olivia as she looked at Lincoln.
"Yes that is him and I really appreciate you looking after him until he sets off."
"No problem Professor Magnolia it's the least I can do after the many wonderful things you've helped my family with over the years."said Miss Olivia is the two shook hands before Miss Olivia walked over towards Lincoln.
"Hello Lincoln Miss Olivia and I will be looking after you until you set out on your journey please get along with me and I hope we can get along with each other."said Miss Olivia as the two sure cans.
"The pleasure is all mine Miss Olivia and I promise to be kind and respectful in your house."said Lincoln as he followed Miss Olivia inside.
Professor Magnolia smiled before she decided to walk off towards her house which was quite a fair distance away.
Meanwhile inside Miss Olivia showed Link in the room he would be using over the next several days and told Lincoln dinner would be ready soon.
After Miss Olivia left the room did Lincoln go to the bed and quickly lay down on it finding it to be extremely comfortable.
"Well tomorrow's the big day I wonder what kind of Pokemon I will get from the champion."said Lincoln as he looked up at the ceiling wondering who will be his starter Pokémon.
[After arriving in the Galar region and officially being recognized as a Pokemon trainer, Lincoln early awaits for tomorrow when he receives his partner Pokemon. But until then it is nice to rest and relax as the journey continues]
